ss so easy. We worked with a coordinator to get matched with a DJ and set up in the online portal. The portal allows you to pick which songs are needed for each event throughout the day/night as well as other general songs. It even lists all of the possible events so you don't leave any out. After wards, we had a kick off call with Alex and told him about the vibe we were looking for and he was totally on board. On the wedding day he blew me away. To kick off the reception he grabbed the whole wedding party and coached us through the intro, he even gave ideas for those couples who couldn't think of a fun intro! We had completely changed our timeline for the reception including changing who was walking with who in the wedding party. Seconds before the intro I told him all the changes, and he wrote them down and rolled with them- no stress at all! When it came time for speeches, Alex prepped each person, coached them on how to talk into the mike, where to stand etc. Most importantly, through out the night he gauged the crowd and continued to play music and kept the party alive and moving. There were more people dancing than I ever expected!!! Lastly, when the electricity went out (TWICE) in the courtyard, Alex sprang into action, and moved us into the cake cutting. He literally kept everything so organized, so energetic and so stress free. Every single person at the wedding complimented the music and the "awesome DJ"!!! Thanks GTE!

many people come up to me and say "this was the most fun I've ever had at a wedding!!" which was a huge compliment, much in part because of Scott. He played music for both the young kids, adults, and older family members, but every song kept everyone on the dance floor! He's also funny and knows what to say at the funniest times… It was a great experience and simple process - we fully trusted him with the program and would highly recommend him for any event!!

Many of our guests mentioned to us during our reception what a great job he was doing, and we could tell everyone was having a great time dancing. He even got my husband and I to dance beyond our first dance (we typically rarely dance)! From start to finish, the process of working with Scott was smooth, and we highly recommend his services!

imes Entertainment through our wedding venue, Inn of the Seventh Ray, because they do a lot of the weddings/parties there and are comfortable with the layout, surrounding residential area, and employees. Additionally, we were able to package them into our wedding deal which made planning a whole lot easier. The communication between our wedding coordinator (Kirsten at Inn of the Seventh Ray) and Good Times Entertainment (and DJ, Scott) was spot on-- they were talking back and forth all night making sure things happened when they were supposed to.
After inquiring about setting up a meeting with the DJ, we were emailed and told that a face-to-face meeting was not necessary. They requested that we fill out a worksheet with certain song requests and return it. Since my wife and I are both really into music, this turned into something much longer and more intense than it should have. We ended up turning in a play-by-play of all the songs we wanted. Additionally, on our RSVP cards, we asked our guests to list their favorite wedding/dance songs and provided all of those to Scott, as well.
After emailing, we were told to expect a phone meeting and they called precisely on time. We got to talk to Scott over the phone and he basically told us that there was no way we could get all our music played. We went through the list with him and, by the end, felt very comfortable with him taking the reins of the music. (We apologized for putting way too much thought into tit, but it really steered him in the direction we were looking for.)
When it came time for the ceremony/reception, everything was perfect. Musical cues that were not even planned hit their marks and it sounded like we (with Scott as our conductor) played the soundtrack to our lives. He was able to accommodate most, if not all, of our musical request, but brought his own take to them as well. It was better than we could have envisioned it. Overall, his selections were spot on!
As for being a DJ/MC, he was wonderful with trafficking the flow of the reception. From cocktail hour all the way through speeches and cake, we felt like he was in control of the event, guiding it along the way. Of course, this was with the aid of our wedding coordinator who was in constant communication with him.
At the end of this perfect evening, almost all of our guests came up to us to compliment Scott (and his/our musical selections) on the music, dancing, and overall fun of the evening.
Thank you, Scott, for making our evening so magical. We highly recommend Good Times Entertainment (and Scott himself) for their wonderful services.

f different services, from lighting to microphone types. Our DJ Tony was fantastic at the reception. He kept to our preference list, and kept a good energy going the whole night. I was a little annoyed that he was late however, which was blamed on traffic, but what do you want? It's LA! Gotta leave early. So the ceremony felt rushed to the wedding party. Also, we asked that a back up microphone be available and it wasn't. Overall, a good experience.

ouldn't be able to do it, but another DJ, Tony, would definitely be available. He knew I was hesitant about using someone I hadn't met (because I insisted on an in-person meeting with him)and offered for us to meet Tony. The meeting never happened, but I take some responsbility for that since the wedding planning was in full swing and we didn't follow up. However, when we tried to schedule a phone meeting to discuss our wedding timeline, we got a response that Tony would call us sometime during the weekend (he was not available to talk on the date and time we suggested). The weekend came and went and he didn't call. We contacted him and he agreed to speak with us on the originally proposed date. The call went great and I again felt comfortable with him as our DJ.
The day of the wedding, Tony was more than an hour late with no apology or explanation. Our coordinator was calling his cell phone, as well as the cell phone of the owner (Scott) and there was no answer. Because we were having the ceremony at the same place as the reception, I made sure the contract had a set-up time that was before the guests were arriving. Tony arrived at the time of our ceremony and began setting up then (he was not providing music for the ceremony, but we didn't want someone setting up a few feet away from our ceremony). His actual DJ-ing was fine. I did think he lacked personality, (he didn't speak to me or my husband personally at all during the evening), but we had a wonderful time at the wedding anyway. I can't recommend Good Times Entertainment because with all the stress of planning a wedding, it is important to be able to rely on vendors. Tony's actions were unprofessional and unacceptable.

o drunk people requested it, and he played it. Additionally he didn't coordinate with the photographer to make sure that we got the pictures we wanted of certain events, like the bouquet toss. I have no pics of it because the DJ didn't wait to make sure that the photographer was out of the restroom.
He was professional, on time, and met all of our expectations.
