Goode Company Catering

We got the BBQ buffet for our reception, and everyone LOVED it! We got so many compliments on the food!

We recently used Goode Company Catering for my daughter's wedding. I first want to go thru the food, it was delicious, It was probably the best brisket I have ever had from them. The main thing I want to go thru is the efficiency of the team working the serving line. They served almost 300 people in no time flat. None of the meat was pre-sliced, they sliced the brisket and turkey as each person approached the buffet. We also used their servers throughout the night and they did an excellent job. As the night wound down, they started picking up the 300 votive candle holders off the table and boxing them, which saved me about an hours worth of work. I cannot stress enough that this is one part of the night that went off without a flaw. In looking back on the whole wedding, this is the one part that went off without a flaw.

In our books, the best BBQ in Houston and maybe Texas!!!! And the catering experience was the best. From Katie and Jessica in catering to Javier and Eric our servers! They rocked the house. Everyone enjoyed. And the best part was the leftovers (which wasn't much)! You can't go wrong with Goode Company!!!!!

We used Goode Company BBQ for our wedding and I was underwhelmed. While the brisket was delicious, the sides were not appetizing. Also, we were supposed to have leftovers and they walked out with the extra food. Also, on the planning side before, they kept trying to add items that were unnecessary for an additional cost and were not great at responding to questions. I would not recommend them.

Great BBQ. They worked with me through multiple changes and in the end we had a perfect night.

Goode Company BBQ exceeded our expectations! The food was amazing and all of our guests LOVED it! The serving line they set up is very professional and the meat carving on site is awesome! Would definitely recommend

They did an excellent job at my wedding. I was happy to have our Texas flare with BBQ but it did not take away from my wedding or make it any less fancy, my friends were worried it would be tacky to have BBQ, but they were excellent in their service and the food was all the right temperatures when served and delicious! I was very happy with them! Only thing I was disappointed with was having to pay an extra couple hundred dollars so they could set up 30 minutes earlier then the time they allotted in my package, the wedding was outside and they were setting up close to my ceremony and I wanted it set up before the ceremony so there were no interruptions during the wedding! They were great. Really loved having them at our wedding.

We actually used the one located on Katy Frwy- since it looks like an old saloon. We had a lot of out-of-state guests so they absolutely LOVED this place with it's old texas cowboy charm (we're talking huge chandelier, dark wood tables, etc.) They have a room they can block off for a private party. We had enough people (about 60) for a buffet style dinner where the meat was carved at the stations. The food was absolutely delicious! We got rave reviews from everyone- the manager there was fantastic to work with- very polite and friendly. The only problem is that the restaurant is still open- so it's loud and noisy. We were going to do our bestman/MOH speeches here but had to cancel that as you really couldn't hear people when they were trying to talk to everyone (we did a prayer that was difficult to hear). While we were a bit disappointed we couldn't do the speeches, we were really fine with everything as we knew what we were getting- a side room in a busy restaurant. The noise and activity helped add to the festive environment. :) It's not the place for you if you want a "private" experience. Oh, and also it's confusing when you enter as you go straight to the serving/ordering line- so tell your guests to skip this and go directly to dining room area. There wasn't any type of sign or direction out front- so people were confused on what they should do/where to go.

We had our Rehearsal Dinner at the katy location earlier this month. We wanted to keep our budget low yet have the privacy that most of the more expensive restaurants offer. We thought since we were having so many family members come in from the North, Texas BBQ would be awesome. We both love BBQ and were crossing our fingers that Goode Co would be available. The staff was very friendly upon booking and the price was SO great. We were able to feed 24 people AND have unlimited beverages for under $700. Which is a steal for a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. The staff we had on our own private floor area was only limited to 2, but it was AMAZING service. The two guys who served us were ON IT! They did a terrific job on keep everyones glasses filled and hands filled with an icy beer! Thank you so much for making it a memorable one. Also, just FYI, Anise Parker was eating dinner just below us downstairs. :)

I got this caterer for my wedding because I didn't see a reason in spending SO much money for rubber chicken. Everyone loved the BBQ! and it was very reasonably priced. The buffet crew was prompt, polite, and professional.
