I saw an east west marquis setting on Pinterest and Goodman and Sons was able to help me customize a beautiful new ring using my engagement diamond. Can I please give more than 5 stars?! My fiancé and I were new to the Hampton Roads area and were looking for a jeweler to make our wedding bands. We received a referral to go talk to Shayna at Goodman & Sons. Previously, we had an amazing diamond consultant in the DC area who helped us pick out my engagement ring, so we weren't sure what to expect here. Shayna, our new consultant at Goodman & Sons, was absolutely exceptional!! She was hands-down the best jewelry consultant we've ever worked with! She was patient and made sure that she researched all of my requests. I went back several times to see samples of bands she had requested from all over the country just for me. I wanted a baguette style wedding ring to match my engagement ring and not only did she contact the maker of my engagement ring but she also had them customize a perfect wedding ring with the exact size baguettes of my engagement ring! The rings look like they were made together on the same day. Shayna is an amazing person who genuinely loves what she does!! My ring is perfect and my fiancé loves his band as well! He wasn't sure what he wanted or how it would go with mine ring. Shayna totally helped him find his style and select a great wedding band that we both love. I cannot wait to get married and put that ring on my fiancé's hand! He will be my husband after that, and I feel like Shayna had a part in that!! Thank you Goodman & Sons and, more importantly, thank you, Shayna!! PS: At the wedding, I wanted to surprise my mother with her wedding band which she had stopped wearing months earlier because she lost the diamond. It was so tragic but in only 48 hours, Shayna and her team fixed the ring and set a lovely white opal in the place of the missing stone. My mom was able to wear her original wedding ring from my dad, who has passed, to my wedding. It was beautiful!! See...Shayna goes above and beyond for whatever we ask of her. THANK YOU!!
