Meredith N. Great food was at the top of our must haves for our wedding and we did extensive research on vendors before finding Goodrich Gourmet. From the very beginning of our experience with Lauren and the team, we were blown away by the taste, depth of their menu, and the attention that we received. Lauren worked closely with us to craft the perfect cocktail hour and wedding dinner menu that had our guests raving all night. She also worked us to create his and hers signature cocktails that were the talk of the reception. While we ultimately chose not to do late night food, Lauren had no shortage of options to choose from and, like all of our yearlong interacts, was always patient and accommodating through our endless inquiries. The whole staff were great and treated every one of our guests like family. We could not recommend Goodrich Gourmet enough.

Sherry and her team out of Virginia Beach are AMAZING!!! I have had to change my plans three times and with each covid challenge, she's been so helpful in helping plan and navigate the wedding planning process. I am difficult to please but this company truly cares about the people they serve, not just the business. Can't say enough good things about Goodrich!

Nothing but good things to say about Lauren and her team at Goodrich Gourmet. We used their Richmond location for our Charlottesville wedding, as they were recommended to us by our venue, and wow - they did not disappoint! At the wedding, the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, they even supplied my husband and I with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres right after the ceremony so we could get a little something in our system before family portraits. They also made our plates for dinner before any guests started eating so that way we didn't have to get stuck in lines talking with guests (we did 3 action stations for our food options). They also sent us home with several to go boxes of appetizers, entrees, sides, and our wedding cake in the cutest picnic basket that we took back to our hotel! They also supplied all of our rentals (linens, glassware, silverware, plates, chargers, etc.) and it all turned out so beautifully! We would definitely book them for an event again in the future!!!

Goodrich Gourmet was wonderful to work with for my wedding. The food was amazing and the staff were very professional and friendly to our guests. My contact (Beth) always put my mind at ease and was happy to answer any questions during the planning process. I highly recommend them for your wedding or special event!

At about 65 days out we realized our wedding as planned would not be able to happen and looked to move to another venue with this new location did not provide catering that’s when we found Goodrich. They were great at answering all of our questions, assuring us of COVID procedures, recommending other vendors to help with our change, and had the best food! Lauren and Nic were both delightful to work with and all of our guests raved about the service staff and food!

Goodrich Gourmet was fantastic to work with from beginning to end! They have a huge list of food options that will surely be fit for any event. I might be biased, but everything was incredibly delicious. We go SO many compliments about the food from our guests. We had 3 plated meal options, and all of the food came out quick and hot. The process for renting place settings and linens was extremely easy and there were so many options to choose from. Besides the food being fantastic, the best part of Goodrich was how attentive and helpful the staff was during our wedding. And all of this for extremely reasonable pricing! I would recommend Goodrich Gourmet over and over!

Goodrich Gourmet was nothing slight of spectacular! From the beginning they were extremely organized which made planning a wedding from out of town easier. We thought we had to make some last-minute changes which was stressful but Lauren Goodrich calmly reassured us everything was fine which was helpful during a hectic month. Then when it came to the wedding day the Goodrich Gourmet staff was the sweetest and most attentive people we could have asked for! Everything tasted phenomenal and they set up the tables better than I could have imagined! I am forever thankful for the Goodrich Gourmet staff that was at our wedding and rehearsal!

The food was incredible and the staff was so professional. Everything was perfect, and they moved so smoothly. We had our dog at the wedding and everyone was so sweet to him, they really went above and beyond with their customer service. At the end, they packed my husband and I a picnic basket (a really nice basket) full of everything we had at the wedding and a sweet note.

The food Goodrich Gourmet served at our wedding was amazing! Our guests raved all night about how much they enjoyed it. We were hesitant to serve our food via a buffet but Goodrich did an amazing job of keeping the buffet stocked and line moving so our guests weren’t waiting forever. They even provided the cutest picnic basket with leftovers in case we got hungry after the wedding (which definitely came in handy).

My husband and I loved working with Lauren and her team at Goodrich! We decided to have a buffet - chicken, brisket, potatoes, veggies - and our guests absolutely loved the food! From our initial tasting to our wedding day, everything was seamless with Goodrich. Lauren always offered advice when we needed it, and it made decision making so easy. Her team is professional, the food is delicious, and I would recommend Goodrich to any couple planning a wedding!

Our venue gave us a list of 10 approved caterers. We reached out to a few for tastings. My husband was ready to sign on the dotted line after tasting some of the food, but I was not impressed by the service or professionalism of any of the caterers we had tried. So we kept looking, and reached out to Goodrich Gourmet. They offered us the BEST tasting experience. They have a whole room in their office dedicated to tastings for couples where they set up a beautiful table for two. They have all of their available linens, plates, silverware, glasses, napkins, everything you need for the wedding in one room laid out to compare and make selections. They serve you as if you're in a restuarant by course and even wrapped up our leftovers to go. They served a lot of food for us to taste! No other caterer provided us with a tasting experience like this. Lauren was amazing from initial contact all the way through to the end of our reception. She was on top of everything, answered every question, had wonderful suggestions, and was so attentive to every detail. Our guests raved about our food. The service at our wedding was just as wonderful as it had been up to the day. I cannot say enough good things about Lauren, her staff, the food, and our overall experience. They even packed a picnic basket for us to keep with food from our reception that we got to take home. We just loved everything about Goodrich Gourmet and highly recommend them!

Goodrich Gourmet was amazing to work with. My husband and I and many of our guests have food allergies. They had many gluten free and dairy free options available so that all of our guests could eat delicious food. Beth was very helpful and knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The staff ensured that my husband and I actually ate on our wedding day, and that the food brought to us was actually food he and I could eat. Additionally, our to-go box was a beautiful picnic basket. My only complaint was that there was no cake in the picnic basket.

From start to finish, Beth at Goodrich was an absolute Godsend. She was so incredibly helpful and coordinated things perfectly with the Science Museum. I know that I pestered her to death with all of my emails but she always responded right away and could quell my fears. I wish I could say that I got to eat my food while it was fresh, but alas I could only eat some mashed potatoes and bruschetta on my wedding day. I did hear from many of the guests that the food was phenomenal! Goodrich was kind enough to not only pack us food to go but package it in a picnic basket with a handwritten note. I have to say it made me tear up as I scarfed down what they gave us (the food was delicious even cold). If I could give Goodrich more than 5 stars I absolutely would. They made my wedding planning and actual day run so smoothly.

Goodrich Gourmet were so lovely to work with at every stage of the process. As we searched for a caterer for our ~90 person wedding in Charlottesville, we were overwhelmed by the cost of really high quality catering. Goodrich fills a unique space by being both affordable, fancy, and delicious. We were able to completely customize our menu, while working around several bridal party allergies (eggs, wheat, soy, dairy, peanuts). Lauren was so on top of every detail from linens to menu to dish-ware and kept up with my frazzled brain and frequent emails! I (and my mother) were able to completely relax the day of knowing that we were in good hands with Goodrich. Thank you, Lauren and team for making our day run so smoothly (and deliciously)!

My daughter was married in June at Fairview Farms. We chose to use Goodrich Gourment Catering Company. The food was FANTASTIC!!! The staff were so attentive to the families with young children . They brought them food and drinks. As the Mother of the Bride, I was so impressed with the personal service I received. They made sure I had food and drinks. They made everyone feel special. After the wedding ended they cleaned up and actually helped to put the room back in place. They went above and beyond. Lauren and her staff are amazing and I hope you think about using this company.

Goodrich Gourmet is absolutely delicious and had tons of options, which was important to us because we had guests with dietary restrictions (gluten free and vegetarian), as well as quite a few kids. They made separate meals and delivered them to the tables where these people were sitting, instead of our guests having limited options and picking through what they can and can’t eat. We were also able to rent our linens and flatware from them, which made it incredibly simple for us.

I’ve been using Goodrich Gourmet for years so when it came to my wedding, it was a no brained. They took care of everything! Menu, staff, china, linens, set up, clean up, you name it! They are so professional, so detailed, and they make you feel like family. My family is very good friends with this family and it’s all because of their excellent service over the last 6 years! I highly recommend them for any event and especially a wedding!

We hired Goodrich Gourmet Catering Company to cater our wedding and we could not be more happy with our decision! I worked with Sherri throughout the planning process and she was terrific to work with. She is so sweet and you can tell she really cares about what she does and puts everything into making the event run smoothly. The night of our event, we were so happy with the staff. Every one of them was friendly and professional. The food was delicious and they kept our glasses full the whole time! I'd highly recommend Sherri and the Goodrich Gourmet team!

Goodrich Gourmet is the absolute BEST. We could not have asked for better food and service for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day! Both my husband and I (and several of our guests) are gluten-free, and Goodrich seamlessly provided us with delicious gluten-free options at our tasting, making our menu selection easy. Sheila was very helpful in putting together our vision for our meal, and Lauren was also incredibly involved and responsive throughout our planning process. We had a buffet at our wedding, but the impeccable service made it feel like a formal plated dinner. Goodrich's staff even packed a beautiful picnic basket for my husband and I at the end of the night for us to take back to our hotel. We were absolutely blown away by Goodrich--we HIGHLY recommend hiring them for your wedding day or for any other event!

I wrote this review for my recent wedding on Google, and am sharing it here since I used The Knot app: Goodrich was our third catering company that we contacted, and after talking with Sherry and doing our taste testing, we knew they'd be the caterers for our wedding! Sherry is the sweetest and her communication was very on point throughout the whole process. She was very patient with us and really took the time to make sure we had everything on our big day. She and her team made sure we even had plates on our Sweetheart Table so that we could actually eat at our reception. THE BEST! Pre-wedding: Very thorough and flexible with the menu. ALL of the food at the taste testing was delicious. We actually switched a few items because we couldn't decide. Wedding day: She and her solid team were early and made sure everything was good to go. They even went above and beyond to make sure our food tables had some decorations. We forgot our cake cutter, so she came prepared with hers. They put our plates on our table so we had food as soon as we got in from taking photos. The sweetest part about Goodrich - They put our leftovers in a very sweet picnic basket with a lovely note. That right there sealed it all. I recommend Goodrich for weddings and ANY events! Their food is delicious; they have a solid team; and their prices are very reasonable. We had a lot of guests come up to us during the reception and even weeks after the wedding asking who the caterer was because "that was the best wedding buffet food [they've] ever had!" Thank you, Sherry. You really made our Special Day one to remember.

Everyone was wonderful from the tasting to the reception. They were willing to work with us on everything and the food was *so* good. Pro tip: get the stuffed mushrooms!

Lauren from Goodrich was very professional and punctual from the day we met with her. They were accommodating to all our needs and changing of ideas. Food and entertainment were top on our list and they exceeded our expectations. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was!!

Goodrich Gourmet was our caterer for our wedding on 11/11/17. They were amazing! The company is great to work with and the food was delicious! Everyone kept telling us how great it was the whole night. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. They were flexible with any changes we wanted to make to our menu.The entire staff was great!

Lauren was a dream to work with throughout the entire planning process and made me feel very at ease during both tastings. She understood my vision for the evening and executed it flawlessly. The food was truly delicious and on the evening of the dinner, the staff was simultaneously attentive and invisible. On top of that, I thought the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this catering company to anyone in the area, and if the occasion arises, I will definitely book them again.

Goodrich was one of the highlights of our whole wedding! We worked with Sheila, who instilled confidence in their ability to accommodate our food allergies and worked out a plan to include everything we needed. We were able to feed about 75 guests for less than $30 a head and that included a fruit and vegetable display, salad, yeast rolls, beef and chicken entrée options, green beans, and a smashed potato bar with all the fixings. The servers were really friendly and sensitive to everyone’s needs while also remaining inconspicuous. Overall everything was a hit, and we heard numerous guests say it was the greatest spread they’ve ever seen at a wedding!

We chose Goodrich Gourmet for my daughter's wedding because we had seen them at work at a friend's wedding. Lauren was amazing to work with. I was surprised at how quickly she responded to us during the process. The food was terrific. The servers were great! We have had a lot of compliments on how good the meal was. Thank you!

DELICIOUS! We worked with Lauren for the huge majority of the time and she, as well as everyone else we spoke with, were fabulous to work with. They food is amazing, they are so nice, helpful, and provide amazing choices in each price range. SO happy we were able to have then cater both our rehearsal and reception :)

Lauren was amazing to work with! She is a perfectionist and works very hard to take care of her brides. During the planning process, she helped us secure trustworthy vendors in the Richmond area. She quickly answered emails from myself, the groom, and my parents. Goodrich's prices are also very fair. They negotiated with us over our open bar, explaining very clearly which alcohols would cost more or less. During the actual wedding, Lauren met my husband and I at the end of the aisle and handed us wine + appetizers (I was obsessed with the Shrimp & Grits). It was exactly what I needed before all of the family photos! Our guests loved the spinach and artichoke chicken as well as the mashed potatoes. Lastly, when we had an uninvited guest show up, they quickly handled with situation without fuss. We loved working with this company!

My husband and I got married in May 2017 and Goodrich Gourmet catered our wedding. Both the food and service were incredible! Prior to the event, we had a tasting and meeting at their downtown location. Lauren helped us decide on a menu that fit our needs and budget. The day of the wedding, the food and beverage/bar set-up looked very nice and the staff was so attentive – they were so on top of it that I didn’t have to ask for anything! We loved working with Lauren and Sheila at Goodrich for our wedding. Normally, people joke that wedding food isn't always that good, but our guests were raving about how delicious everything was-- from appetizers at cocktail hour to their plated meals. Goodrich made the food planning process so easy, from tastings to answering our dozens of questions, and going above and beyond to ensure our guests with food allergies were safe and taken care of. We highly recommend working with Goodrich!

First off, when you choose Goodrich Gourmet as your caterer you not only get great food but also great company! The crew was so friendly and accommodating the whole night long. The food was DELICIOUS. Our guests continue to rave about what was served at our wedding (we went with crab cakes, beef, and pasta...among lots of other goodies too). We are so happy we chose Goodrich on our special day!

Lauren Goodrich is an absolute wizard. She's amazing and wonderful and her team is the best. I had waitstaff check in with me often, but not too often, to make sure that I had everything that I needed. They were super attentive. I never needed to go ask anyone for anything. We didn't want traditional "wedding food". We wanted our wedding to be fun and we wanted fun food. Most of the caterers that we talked to didn't seem to understand that, but when I told Lauren that I wanted "sophisticated food truck food," she knew exactly what I meant. For cocktail hour, we had mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shots, bao buns, buffalo chicken on pita chips, and spring rolls. Dinner got rave reviews. When I said I wanted a mac & cheese bar, we got amazing cheddar mac & cheese with every possible topping you can imagine. The taco/fajita bar was great, the pulled pork was better than some BBQ places I've been to, and the made-to-order hamburger sliders were awesome. It's been 5 days and I'm still eating the leftovers that they packed up in a picnic basket for us. When we asked for local craft beer, we got to hand-select 3 different varieties in addition to our choice of a domestic beer. Every time we needed to make a change, Lauren handled it easily. When I learned a month before the wedding that I had some guests who were gluten-free, she had a tray of gluten-free mac & cheese made just for them. They said it was the best mac & cheese they've ever had and they were so grateful that we were able to accommodate them. The team from Goodrich also set up the entire reception for us, since the ceremony and reception were being held in the same room and they did a beautiful job. The whole place looked gorgeous. It was a perfect night and I am so glad that we hired Goodrich Gourmet. I don't think we could have done it without them.

We booked with Lauren for our wedding & we have received SO many compliments on how good the food was. We actually did get to eat & we are so glad we did because we couldn't agree more, it was delicious! Lauren & her team were great to work with, she was so flexible in working with me to make sure she it was exactly what I wanted. Prices were very reasonable given the services provided. I am still hearing about how wonderful the food was and the prompt and professional delivery set up and breakdown plus serving throughout the night was unbelievable and beautifully executed while leaving me stress free. I had constant communication with the staff during the planning period and they were all incredibly helpful, flexible and knowledgable.

Amazing food and amazing staff! They really went out of their way to make sure the groom and I were fed and had our favorite drinks all night long! Thank you for such awesome catering services for our daughter’s wedding this last weekend held at Fairview Farm Events. Not only was the food amazing so was the staff! From the servers to the bartenders there was nothing you could have done to make the event any better. I love how the bartender would have a glass of wine always ready for the bride and beer personally delivered to the groom. The BBQ chicken and pork was perfect and the mac & cheese was so good. We even went back for seconds! Thank you all….from set up to clean up we appreciate everything you did.

I can't thank Lauren and her staff at Goodrich enough for the great service they provided to our friends and family at my daughter's wedding on 5/28/2016. The food was delicious, and I received so many inquires and wonderful compliments on their behalf. In addition, they were so accommodating and attentive to my guests. We had several children, along with a few guests with mobility limitations and special needs. Lauren was quick to see that they were all personally served and accommodated, so that they would not have to struggle getting to the buffet. I was so impressed and pleased with their professionalism from start to finish, and my husband and I are enjoying the last of the leftovers for dinner tonight! Don't look any further. Goodrich Gourmet is THE BEST. We met with and had tastings with a few caterers and were thrilled to find Lauren & Dale. The menu options we amazing, delicious choices, and on top of that, their professionalism and responsiveness could not have been any better. Some of our guests were professional chefs and they couldn't stop raving about the meal! The roasted red pepper chicken & beef tenderloin was among some of my favorites served - but everyone also loved the late night snacks of buffalo chicken triangles, grilled cheese and tomato soup shots. The milk & cookies served at the end of the evening left our guests feeling very satisfied. You won't regret hiring this team!

Goodrich Gourmet gave us the absolute best service that I could have hoped for during the planning process, and on our wedding day. We picked them because we needed a special menu- my husband is vegetarian and I don't do well with dairy. So we were very worried that we would have a very hard time finding someone to meet our dietary needs without compromising on taste or creativeness of the food offerings. I met Lauren, the owner, at a Bridal Show, and she assured me that we could sit down with her chef and come up with something that would work. We decided on a Japanese/hibachi style dinner, and we were very impressed at the tasting- even my parents who were skeptical about not having meat or dairy. Goodrich Gourmet also provided our day-of coordinator, our cupcakes, our rentals- table linens, table décor, extra chairs, tables, and lighting including set-up and breakdown- as well as five event staff members. Our guests really enjoyed the food offerings, and the catering team did an amazing job during event breakdown- it was all pretty much done in 30 minutes- which really helped my family out. I have nothing but positive things to say about working with Goodrich Gourmet. Their team was very supportive during my planning process, answering my many emails trying to sort out all the details and make sure we had thought of everything. I especially was grateful for Lauren's ability to calm my worries and ensure me that everything would be ok. That meant the world to me. Consider using them for your event; you won't regret it!

My fiance Ben and I, have been so blessed by GG's generosity in participating in Fairview Farm's 1 year anniversary give-away contest and providing us their catering services for 100 guests! I couldn't be more pleased with the Goodrich Gourmet team! Working with Lauren at Goodrich was such a pleasure! She was extremely helpful, flexible and professional all throughout the planning process in meeting with me for tastings, for my walk through, and helping create a delicious menu for my big day! My guests absolutely loved the food and their excellent services- and are still raving about it! Everyone on staff was very professional and attentive. I was very impressed with their services- Lauren asked us prior to the reception what type of drink/food we prefer and had it all set up at our place setting for the Bride and Groom! Another unique thing about GG is the personable gift for our honeymoon was placed in our car prior to leaving the reception which was a picnic basket with a variety of leftovers for the wedding night! GG provided all the place settings, napkins, table clothes for cocktail tables, and had all the details included making it very stress-free for the Bride in the planning process! I will def. use Goodrich again for other events & HIGHLY recommend their services for any event! You will not be disappointed!

We used Goodrich Gourmet on a friend's recommendation. They recently opened a second location in Virginia Beach, and I'm so glad they did! The food was delicious and the service really was impeccable. The ladies were very attentive to the groom and my needs, and they made sure our drinks were always full. They got us plates of food more than once, and checked to make sure everything was good. They also provided the linens for the tables, which for me, was very important. I couldn't have been more pleased with what we got! The lobster mac and cheese was delicious, as was EVERYTHING else we got! So happy with their service and will recommend them everywhere I go!

Wow, these guys were amazing. They ended up doing both our rehearsal dinner and wedding food. Both were awesome. Rehearsal was traditional southern barbecue with pulled pork, mac & cheese & greens. AMAZING!!! The greens were incredible. Wedding dinner was stationary app stations and then seated dinner family style. We did a host provided bar where they provided bartenders & mixers. I am still hearing great things about our food from everyone who was at the wedding, over a month later! Lauren was incredibly accommodating and always responded quickly when I had a question. Everything was customized to our tastes and the prices were very fair & reasonable. Service was great and we were very happy. Would definitely recommend and use again.
