Beautiful location for wedding and ceremony, even in the "colder" months! Although there were some contact changes during the planning process, the events team remained professional and thorough to ensure everything was locked in for the big day! Beautiful layout inside and beautiful views outside. The perfect place for a summer or fall wedding!

We just had our wedding at Bubolz the end of September. We were so happy with the entire process leading up to our wedding. All the staff were helpful, responsive, and answered all of our questions. The day of our wedding, the staff was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. On top of all of that, the venue is simply gorgeous and we got so many compliments on the venue.

We are so glad we decided to have our wedding at Bubolz! It was a beautiful location that everyone really enjoyed and made for wonderful pictures. The staff were very helpful with touring the facility, coordinating everything, etc. Thanks for helping make our day great!

Bubolz was our dream venue. It was absolutely gorgeous and had tons of opportunities for amazing pictures. The Lodge, where the reception was held, is fairly new and was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We had about 200 guests and the Great Heron Hall was the perfect size for us. Working with the event coordinator and the bartenders was great.

Absolutely the best service! They switched event managers 3 times during our 2 year wedding planning process (life happens, totally understand) There were absolutely No issues with the staff, roles were picked up seamlessly. Every email was always promptly answered. The day of everything went so smoothly, they even were generous enough to open up the outside cabin for us when us girls took too long to get ready inside for the guys to get ready in. The owner was out putting up our extra chairs the night before when we stopped by to do our rehearsal and he made sure to stop by us and make sure everything was to our liking. We had a great night! And the venue was absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful venue! Jenni was very easy to work with. There were a few stricter rules, such as no shots or pitchers, and very limited catering options, but it all worked out perfectly.

Bubolz Nature Preserve was everything we could have wanted for our wedding and more. From the very first picture we saw online, we fell in love with the venue and knew that it would be perfect for our wedding. Throughout the planning process, everyone on staff was extraordinarily helpful and did everything they could to bring our vision to life. They are truly dedicated to making your day exactly what you want it and do so with exceptional kindness and positivity. We had our ceremony in The Pines site and our ceremony in the Great Blue Heron Hall. Both sites received many compliments from our guests and are truly beautiful and unique spaces on their own. I could not recommend Bubolz Nature Preserve more for any event. It is simply stunning and will make all of your dreams come true!

Beautiful outdoor nature venue with multiple locations to have the ceremony. Very nice for guests that the ceremony and reception can be in the same vicinity. The staff was great at getting back to emails and helping with answering many questions. Jenni, Keisha, and Miranda were very nice, kind, and patient with me when we talked. The downside to a wedding at a nature preserve is there's not a whole lot you can do with the space such as no flower petals, no sparklers, etc. If you choose this venue be cautious about the time you have at the venue. It is very specific and you do not get the space the entire day like most other venues.

We had a great experience working with Miranda at Bubolz. She was always quick to answer our questions and we met with her about a month before our wedding to go over final details. We had our ceremony in the pines and reception in the great blue heron hall. Both spaces were beautiful and everything we hoped for. We were also able to have a fire outside and the fireplace going inside, which was great for our Nov wedding. The only downside is we couldn’t start setting up the reception space until 1pm the day of unless we paid extra money. We ended up making it work out fine though.

Wedding at Bubolz - The Pines (outdoor) Terrible Coordination/Communication, Overcharged, Bad Contract We are significantly underwhelmed with our experience of getting married at Bubolz Nature Preserve. First off, the venue has gone through three different employees as event managers. This caused a lot of issues with coordination between us and the venue, as you could imagine. Some of our "must have" options, that we had agreed upon with the past employees became a fight for them to happen after new employees took over. I personally had to set-up "the bar", which was really just a folding card table without even a table cloth, and the tables that we had requested. On top of it all, the venue managers are charging us an extra $1,000 for a backup space to the outdoor ceremony, even after discussing that we did not need or want a back-up space with a previous employee. Even though the contact says that we paid an amount "in full", they are still charging us this after the fact, with no mention of it prior. It is really too bad that such a beautiful place for weddings is mismanaged to such a degree. I only recommend if you are up for a fight.
