Gordon Duo Weddings

When my husband and I look back to our wedding day, we knew the success of it all couldn’t have been possible without the thoughtful planning and attention to detail from Gordon Duo. Ever since the beginning of the planning stages, Kate and Fiona always kept us on track to think about all of the important details for the big day and always kept our budget in mind to make it work. From big things (venue selection) to small things (table signage, decor) they never missed a beat! They made this whole experience a walk in the park by providing us with vendor recommendations that aligned well with our vision, reminding us of deadlines, and meeting with us whenever we had questions. They were so supportive and friendly through the whole experience. Thank you, Fiona and Kate, for making our day special, organized, and unforgettable.

Fiona and Kate were so amazing to work with from the very beginning. They were the first vendor I hired and it was such a pleasure to plan my dream wedding with them. They were great at recommending vendors and venues that would fit both my wedding vision and budget. They were always so easy to get a hold of for any questions, thoughts, ideas. They made the planning experience fun and enjoyable and took all the stress out of the process. Jump to the wedding day, they arrived early to get all of my decor and venue setup done in a limited amount of time. Since they had been incontact with all vendors prior to day of there were no issues with people showing up when they were supposed to. I never heard about any issues the day, everything was just handled. I would recommend Fiona and Kate to anyone whether you think you need a wedding planner or not, I would give them a call and seriously consider working with this duo!!

Kate and Fiona surpassed our expectations for wedding planners. They were attentive, communicative, positive, and they made us feel comfortable the entire year we planned our wedding. They guided us expertly from our initial vague idea to the most amazing day imaginable, all with a perfect balance of sage advice and enthusiasm for our vision. We followed their lead on many of our vendors, all of whom we ended up loving and choosing for our special day, and we could never thank them enough for their advice. We had so many compliments about how special our ceremony was, and my husband and I didn't really worry about a thing the weekend leading up to it, because we knew they had everything handled. Kate and Fiona were the absolute BEST. They helped us through every step of the way before the wedding, and handled everything absolutely perfectly on the day of. Kate and Fiona are a fantastic pair of planners and day-of coordinators. They were spectacular at our wedding in February 2023 at Farm12. During our planning sessions they were crucial in providing recommendations. We appreciated working together throughout planning season, and all their help to create and adjust our timeline and other details, ensuring we didn’t miss a thing. We felt we could truly rely on them to cover all the bases on our wedding day, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing!

Fiona and Kate were very knowledgeable about the process. They helped us every step of the way from timelines to budgeting to handling all of the vendors. Kate and Fiona were great! I had a quick turnaround of less than 6 months to plan our wedding and they made the planning process in such a short time less stressful. They were very prompt with follow-up, provided recommendations and on the day of the wedding were so helpful. As a result of their help and coordination, our day went smoothly.

I could not have pulled off my wedding without Kate & Fiona! They were so helpful throughout the entire process, making sure we were on track with all the vendors and checklists, providing guidance and opinions where needed. The day-of went smoothly due to their management and coordination, and they even helped resolve a couple unforeseen circumstances! The Gordon Duo are incredible planners and day of coordinators. Kate and Fiona work super closely together, tag-teaming all duties to make your special day exactly what you want. We planned a relatively quick turnaround wedding, <1 year, so we had to act quick to get our high demand vendors. The Gordon Duo helped us jump into action by getting us the exact venue we wanted, around the time we wanted, and the rest of the process was smooth. They are extremely understanding, patient, and felt like family by the end of it all! Day of, they were on top of everything, keeping the day moving and perfect. We are so thankful we went with Kate and Fiona.

I can't say enough about these amazingly lovely ladies! To say they are professional, well experienced, patient, and extremely knowledgeable is a complete understatement. Their ability to get things done timely and efficiently is a real work of art. Every time I felt myself getting lost in all the chaos, a quick phone call to Gordo Duo always set me straight and got me back on track. I needed help with my destination wedding and needed someone who knew their way around not just the Seattle area but all the local vendors. From the flowers to our wedding venue, our pre wedding dinner venue, the hotel, every thing, every last little item, they oversaw it with such amazing attention to detail. They had wonderful suggestions and ideas for every aspect of my event. So grateful we found them. I can't imagine putting together my wedding without these 2 beautiful ladies. What was supposed to be a small destination wedding kept growing and growing but Kate & Fiona were always on point with every little change and ready every step of the way. Their caring and respectful approach shines thru in every detail. I highly recommend Gordon Duo.

Kate + Fiona are such a great team, and work well in making sure your big day is exactly how YOU want it! We purchased the JOY package, and having them there to handle everything was exactly what was needed. They work well together, but also with other vendors in making sure that things either 1) go according to plan 2) go according to a *new* plan without stressing you, your family, or anyone in the bridal party out! Couldn't recommend them more!

When starting wedding planning, we spoke with many friends and family members about the planning process. Almost everyone we spoke to had horror stories of something that went wrong on their day, something that was forgotten, etc. The biggest piece of advice/takeaway was to hire a planner or coordinator. We started researching and happened to find the Gordon Duo, and we're so so thankful we did. Kate and Fiona from day one were thoughtful, kind, communicative, and supportive. They really made sure our needs and priorities were met, and took care of all of the small details we couldn't manage (or wouldn't have thought of). In addition to months of help prior to our wedding, our big day could not have happened so flawlessly without them. They worked so well all day and night with each one of our vendors, guests, and family; and really made sure our priorities remained the focus throughout. We cannot recommend Fiona and Kate enough!!

Hiring The Gordon Duo as our coordinators was the best wedding decision my husband and I made. Fiona and Kate are an absolute DREAM to work with. They are the most organized, professional, reliable coordinators, and they ensured that our wedding day was seamless. Kate and Fiona were with us every step of the way while planning the wedding and they were always able to offer really helpful advice. They made sure we felt comfortable with the timeline of our day multiple times, and they gracefully kept the wedding on track the entire day. I felt so at peace on our wedding day because I knew that Fiona and Kate had everything handled and in order. Not only did they pay such close attention to detail to make sure everything was how we envisioned our wedding, but they were also always there checking in on us to see if we needed anything. They are the kindest duo and always so attentive. Kate and Fiona made sure our wedding was the wedding of our dreams, and it truly was because of them. I could not have picked better wedding coordinators for my wedding. They saved my wedding day without involving me at all. If you are wavering between Kate & Fiona and anybody else, go with Kate & Fiona. They were so helpful and supportive throughout the planning process, keeping me on track and helping me plan our wedding. On the Rehearsal Dinner day: they were hype-women, problem-solvers, kept my bridal party in check, helped me to relax, and so much more. On the wedding day, they are solely responsible for how smoothly and beautiful my wedding was. Not only that, but all the problems on my wedding day were handled far before it reached my ears, if it ever did. My wedding day was beautiful, fun, exciting, and an absolute whirlwind. However, it wasn’t stressful. I recommend Gordon Duo absolutely!!

I cannot recommend Kate and Fiona enough! They are such a bubbly, fun and talented duo. Their professionalism was appreciated, their knowledge was apparent and their energy was contagious! They handled all of our vendors amazingly well, and when the band become a bit difficult they maintained their professionalism and kept their cool. They helped decorate during the day, and were able to extend my vision to the decor and our backyard which was our venue. They made what I hoped would be a great day, the best day ever. Kate and Fiona were an absolute dream team and the perfect pair to have on board for our big day! They were incredible at anticipating needs we didn't even know we had and completely flexible about the oddities of our less-than-traditional wedding. The Gordon Duo jumped in to help with everything from cake cutting, to champagne pouring, to table set-up and decor. Their ability to spot a need and handle it made it possible for us to fully relax and enjoy our party. The Gordon Duo was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding! We had an initial call to discuss expectations and once I decided to go with them I had so much support from them. They were there to help provide any insight they could through the process. They came to the venue walk through and helped make decisions for the rehearsal. However, I must say that on the actual day, they were the real MVP. Our wedding went off without a hitch and they were the primary reason. They guided the event from start to finish and went above and beyond for us. They truly were there from start to finish and made the entire event perfect. I experienced no stress. Your wedding day should be all you want it to be, and these two amazing individuals will help make that happen (and more!). Kate and Fiona with Gordan Duo were an absolute pleasure to work with for my December wedding! They really knew their stuff and handled everything during the big day with such ease. Hiring Kate and Fiona was the absolute best choice we made during our entire wedding planning process. We were on a limited budget and kept our wedding quite small, but they are the only vendor we truly couldn't have done it without (alongside our photographer, which they helped us find). They have such a sweet, warm presence and I trusted them to handle every detail so I could relax a bit more and enjoy our day. It seems they also have relationships with a lot of venues and vendors, so they can also make some great firsthand recommendations.

Fiona and Kate were nothing short of AMAZING to work with. They were very easy to communicate with, which is super important to us. They also had ALL of the answers to our questions, and made us feel confident in any and all decisions we made. The day of our wedding, they showed up at our venue bright and early, equipped with an emergency kit that had everything we might need in it. They even drove somewhere to pick up our linens instead of waiting for delivery so that they could set our tables up earlier!! Speaking of tables, they set EVERYTHING up for us, and they took EVERYTHING down after the wedding. They made it SO easy for us to have the most stress-free, amazing, most memorable day we could have ever imagined. After going through the wedding planning experience, I cannot recommend Gordon Duo as your day-of coordinator enough.

Hiring Gordon Duo was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. Kate and Fiona were there from the beginning helping Camilo and I find and pick vendors, negotiate contracts, coordinate with other vendors and so much more which isn’t typical when you hire day of coordinators. They are very responsive by both text, email and phone calls to help with anything that came our way during wedding planning. They also checked in on us regularly. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is already stressful but they have so much knowledge in the wedding industry that the stressed was eased. We met them in person a few times before the wedding to get the big picture on planning, organization and set up. They also came up with a wedding day timeline that was perfect for all of our special ceremonies to combine our culture. They were there during the rehearsal lining everyone up. They were also the first ones at the wedding site on our wedding day and helped with getting the reception area ready, and the last one to leave. Everything ran pretty smoothly on that day. We could not thank them enough for all the work that they put into helping us on our special day.

We hesitated to find wedding planner due to pricing and had finally decided not to get one (especially because our venue came with a coordinator) when we found Kate and Fiona. We are so grateful we did and our wedding would have been a huge struggle had we not found them. Having two people on our wedding day allowed for so many more things to get done. They folded all our napkins, put up all our decor, moved all our decor halfway through the day, among countless of other things. We wanted to choose our own vendors and already were halfway through the planning process (or so we thought- turns out theres a lot more to plan in the month of than we realized). This caused us to get the middle tier package- we still pick our vendors and make the majority of wedding decisions, but they are there for support of everything. They met with us to understand what we wanted and knew what kind of decisions to make day of. They worked closely with our venue coordinator and all our vendors so everyone knew what was going on. I want to say our day was flawless and perfect, but I'm sure things happened I'm not even aware of. I know there was something about the seating arrangement but they handled it. Something about decor not working out but they handled it. It was so worth hiring them, don't think you can have a wedding day without a planner! Groom's review "They were great.
