Gordon Green

is for you!  Once we did our wedding tour with Jacob, I was sold!! Gordon Green is a blank canvas venue, you can do a lot or you can do a little and the space will again be absolutely beautiful with either direction. I decided to lean towards a more minimalist design and complementing all of the natural beauty of the space and it was absolutely beautiful. (photos attached). There was a breakdown in communication a couple times during our wedding planning process. Initially, we never received the invoice to place our deposit on the venue until I reached out to a couple people a few weeks after we confirmed our date. And after our final walk through, final details were not communicated until I reached out. It caused a little self-induced panic with some of the details not being completed until a week or so before the wedding. But overall, everything was resolved, all details were finalized and we had an absolutely beautiful day and I would recommend Gordon Green as a wedding venue for anyone!!

our guests haven't stopped raving about the location. The lower level is the perfect spot for the bridal party to get ready, the outdoor space is wonderful for cocktail receptions or ceremonies, and the entire staff made that entire morning/day so much fun. Can't recommend the people and this space enough!

married there 2 years before us. Their wedding was so beautiful, and yet Evan and I were amazed by how the space was completely transformed between our different wedding days, from a giant hanging disco ball installation, to lighting and the tiniest details, the entire place reflected our story and our vibe. Our wedding was perfectly “us”. This magic was created in part by the team’s readiness to collaborate with other Cleveland vendors and artists with purpose and poise, carefully considering every moving part and refining our big ideas into a seamless event. Perhaps most importantly, we felt SO comfortable there. We got there at 9am and left at 11pm, and in between, we had, like, twelve different parties we will remember forever. It was the perfect balance of easy and iconic, from getting ready with our closest friends in a clean space stocked with everything we needed, to taking photos and sharing special moments just the two of us in so many different beautiful settings, and knowing that every guest felt special and had full accessibility to enjoy every part of our day. This team didn’t miss a beat. When inevitable wrinkles in the day happened, we genuinely had no idea. The professionalism, responsiveness, and creativity of the GG team is a huge reason why our day was so joyful. Jaccob Holland is a subject matter expert when it comes to events, and the entire GG team reflects this expertise through every step of the wedding planning process. Get married at Gordon Green!!!

ith and can really elevate the space however you want. We elected for a more minimal approach, and it was so cozy and intimate. The outdoor space held our ceremony and made for lovely photos. Connor was our on site coordinator for the day and made sure all aspects of the day went flawlessly. Many guests praised me for making the wedding planning process look like a breeze but truthfully it was all the Gordon Green staff.

big windows with natural light, outside mural, marble bar, bamboo on the patio, high ceilings, the wood floors, beautiful beams, etc. Also, there were plenty of bathrooms so guests weren’t waiting in long lines. The getting ready rooms were perfect with plenty of room for a hair/makeup team. There were endless spots for photo ops and the flow of the space worked so well. GG provided an intimate venue without feeling overly crowded (even with 300 guests). We loved the downstairs as this provided an area for kids to play and it was our back up rain cocktail hour spot. The only feedback we have would be to possibly expand the outdoor awning. We had an outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour in August 2024. We were so grateful the weather was not rainy, however, it was very hot and the awning did not fully cover the area so many guests sat in the direct sun. Nonetheless, working with the GG team was great - Nathan made our planning experience smooth with his fun personality and great communication (even while planning our wedding out-of-state). Peep his picture! GG did an awesome job accommodating our cocktail requests and the espresso martini bar was a crowd pleaser. We cannot recommend GG enough!!!
