Gosia's Photography

My wife and I used Gosia for both our wedding and engagement photos, and she did an fantastic job. She is amazing at being able to make you feel at ease during the sessions, and has a knack for catching those moments between “official” shots where you weren’t really doing anything, and it turns into a great picture. She also works really well with all kinds of people. My family and my wife’s family couldn’t say enough good things about her.

We happened to be referred to Gosia by our jeweler, from Kesslers and we feel so blessed that we were. It’s tough to pick out specifics for how amazing Gosia was through our entire wedding process because there were so many!! From the very first meeting Gosia put us at ease. She was so fun and kind and she instantly made us so relaxed with one of the most important pieces of your entire wedding! My wife and I loved getting to have an engagement session with Gosia. We had so much fun with Gosia and made us that much more excited for our wedding day! Every step of the way showed what a pro she is! She walked us through each step and customized exactly how each step would go. She was so thorough with us and walked us through choices and ideas that we hadn’t even thought about! Our wedding day was spectacular. We had such an intimate wedding and Gosia just made the whole day fantastic. It’s a ton of work to shoot a wedding! Gosia was just awesome to watch as she politely commanded each group in the wedding party into position. She gave everyone a thorough overview of the game plan to get all of our photos taken. Even with the friendly group we had, its very difficult to get people into position and get the shots we wanted, but she was able to make it look easy and made it very fun at the same time! We were so amazed and so thankful for the effort and expertise Gosia had through the whole process and during our wedding day. At the end of the night, after photos were all done, she ran back to find us because she found another shot that she wanted with us! The photo is now one of our absolute favorite pictures from our wedding! We could not have imagined finding a better photographer who would care as much for us and our day as Gosia! She was such a pro, and so fun through the whole experience. Our wedding would not have been nearly the same or nearly as special without Gosia! Incredible. Phenomenal. Wonderful. Amazing. These words only begin to describe the experience we had by choosing Gosia as our wedding photographer. Gosia is a beautiful person both inside and out. Not only does she have a passion for photography, but she truly takes the time to get to know each and every one of her clients. My daughter was recently married a week ago. Gosia was great! We did the large package and got her for 9 hours the day of the wedding. She was there early, kept everyone calm and on task and made sure she did what my daughter wanted when the ceremony space was demanding something else. Gosia found a great spot to go to take photos when the weather did not cooperate at all. The sneak peek photos were amazing. She was patient with all of our extended family and kept things rolling when changes were also made due to weather. She was so fun to work with and really helped me keep my calm when I was getting frustrated at ceremony space. I highly recommend Gosia. Her ability to work with and her professionalism was great. I can’t wait to see the whole package when the sneak peek photos were so amazing!!!!

Being a first time newly engaged bride to be was very intimidating to find the perfect vendors for the big day. I ran across Gosia’s photography and saw all of her awesome work and reviews. I was definitely intrigued. Then she was recommended by another vendor so I just had to meet with Gosia to see for myself and I am so happy I did. Throughout my experience with Gosia was nothing but perfect. She was punctual , very professional and knew exactly needed to get done. Fast forward to my wedding day, Gosia was so prepared and knowledgeable that my guests were immediately Impressed. Gosia made sure we were on time and followed my itinerary to the T. our wedding was only three days ago, but I need to take a moment to gush about how amazing Gosia was on our big day. normally I am a calm, cool person but when she first arrived my nerves were higher than ever. she had me at ease in moments. she took charge of everyone the entire time. if you've ever been apart of a wedding you know how important that is. the entire time we did photos we were at ease. everything went smooth. they say there is no such thing as a perfect wedding, but I feel ours was almost perfect and a lot of that is thanks to Gosia. I would absolutely recommend her over and over again, and we have only seen a couple of preview photos so far. thank you so much Gosia!

Gosia was so wonderful to work with. She was the photographer at my brothers weddding 3 years ago and I knew right away when I got engaged that I wanted her to be our photographer as well! I first met Gosia when she photographed my sister’s wedding a few years back. The photos turned out amazing, and being part of the wedding party directed by Gosia was such a great experience that I knew that when it came time for me to select a photographer for my own wedding there was really only one choice. Being a plus-sized bride I was so anxious about being photographed, and worried that I would end up hating all of the photos, but having worked with Gosia previously, I knew she would be a great fit as our photographer. My fiancé and I were both pretty (I mean, VERY) nervous before our engagement session, but Gosia has such a fun sense of humor and laid-back personality that we were immediately more comfortable and confident. When angles were unflattering, or made us look awkward, she adapted quickly and gave clear direction so we would get images we would love. When it came to prepping for the wedding day Gosia was easy to communicate with, and for being such an in-demand photographer, she always replied to us quickly. She really helped us develop the schedule for the entire wedding day, and was very understanding in helping us maintain some of the things that were a high priority to us. Where do I start...first things first Gosia made my bride incredibly at ease which is no easy feat and she made it look simple. Gosia is not only incredibly professional but also the perfect level of fun to relax everyone and make the photographs enjoyable. I’ve stood up in many weddings and until meeting Gosia I’ve never seen the wedding party enjoy pictures and not end up hating the process halfway through. I'm a photographer myself and know what it takes to do a wedding. It's a ton of work leading up to the big day, and the day itself. Since photography is one of the most important investments for a wedding day, and since I'm a photographer-- I knew I was going to be VERY picky about who I chose for my now husband and I's wedding. I searched and searched for what seemed like months for that right person. I was immediately drawn to Gosia's portfolio and after we met with her, my husband and I were even more excited to invest in Gosia for our wedding photography. She is a bubbly person, very funny, and knows exactly what she's doing. She has all the attributes that anyone could want in a photographer, especially a photographer for such a big event. From the beginning she made us feel very confident that everything was under control and that photography was covered. She made us feel like we didn't need to worry about it because she had it handled. Looking back-- we never worried about photography. That was the one thing we were confident about for our big day. Before the wedding, she thought of things that I never thought of. And on the day of, she worked so hard, and non-stop, to capture every moment we could want. Even though my husband and I were pretty last minute with giving our list of family members to Gosia and we had a rainy day and several plans changed on the day of the wedding (which was pretty stressful)-- Gosia was one vendor that had her stuff together. She stayed on point! She never once showed that she was stressed, which helped us feel calm. And, to top it all off-- our pictures turned out amazing... even the ones in the rain! Thank you Gosia!

Where to start...Gosia is absolutely AMAZING at what she does!! Super friendly, professional and definitely knows what she’s doing! She managed to capture so many wonderful pictures of the day, without me realizing she was there. To make feel comfortable in front of a camera is not an easy feat, but Gosia did it. Gosia made our engagement and wedding photos fun which in turn made us feel relaxed so we look natural in our photos. Gosia was extremely easy to work with and provided us with more phenomenal pictures than I thought possible from our big day!! I was very nervous about what to spend on a photographer, especially since the amount varies so much - it's hard to tell what's reasonable to pay. Let me tell you - Gosia was worth every penny and more!! Neither my groom nor I take very good pictures and I have SO MANY from the wedding that look GREAT. She took some awesome candid photos of our guests that I was able to print out and send in thank you cards. She responds in a timely fashion, which is awesome as a bride!! I can't say enough about how easy she was to work with and how ecstatic I am about our photos!!

I was recently in a wedding and Gosia was the photographer. She was professional,creative and very entertaining throughout the photo shoots. There were a lot of photos to be taken but she kept everyone engaged and entertained and made it a lot of fun. My husband and I cannot express how highly we think think of Gosia and her work. From the first time we met her to individual meetings, and countless emails before the wedding day, she was always one step ahead of me and gave me the comfort of knowing we were in a great photographer's hands. Wow! Amazing! I could not of asked for a better photographer from start to finish. She listens and gives her expert opinion but in the end lets you do what you want to. She is great at giving direction and amazing at finding the perfect light for your pictures. She works at 110% effort your entire wedding day; attempting to catch every perfect moment. I wish I could give 6 out of 5 starts to Gosia. I would recommend her to any family member or friend who needed a photographer for any reason, especially for weddings.

BEST OF THE BEST! Gosia was completely amazing! We had a unique low key wedding planned in our barn. Not only did Gosia capture every moment perfectly, but she made us all smile with her wonderful and warm personality! She was fantastic and patient with the horses too! Gosia was everything we could have ever wanted for our big day. Gosia takes rock-solid, classic, heartfelt photos...the kind of photos you're proud to put on your walls for the next 80 years. As a couple with experience in the wedding and multimedia fields, we were pretty critical of the photographers that were suggested to us. Gosia surpassed our expectations ten-fold. She was aware enough to quietly catch the intimate moments and bossy (in a wonderful way) enough to get the perfect formal portraits (with 26 SMILING faces!) Quick reviewer background: Father of the bride. Two of our daughters married this year, so we have another important wedding to compare with. I am an experienced armature photographer, and also have two friends that are wedding photographers. Overall, Gosia's Photography was fantastic! I was impressed at the wedding, and had a strong feeling that the results would be very good, but my expectations were exceeded and I must say the results are exceptional. On the topic of working the wedding, Gosia was great. She was professional, with a very upbeat attitude, and was even entertaining. Her attitude was reassuring and promoted confidence. A few notes I made a day or two after the wedding are listed below: ** She had obviously planned ahead, had agenda and list of photos. No making things up at the event! In fact she even knew almost everyone's name. ** She regularly demonstrated awareness and sensitivity to bride and groom's (dis)comfort (are you cold, thirsty, etc). ** She worked the subjects and audience well -- she got the smiles and desired expressions! ** She took a few of each as needed, yet I never saw a bad photo or "blinker" in the results, ** Gosia communicated extremely well -- on all levels, at all times. ** Worked well with lots of different personalities. ** She was direct, with tact to deal with things like eye glasses, pockets, hair, etc. ** Impressive efficiency to move things but never missed compromising quality. ** She had obviously studied the facility, and used numerous locations, leverage lighting and time of day to her advantage to capture some stunning results. ** Adaptive to the weather conditions which were quite different from the original plan. A few items I noted on the technical side of her wedding photography: ** Demonstrated a keen awareness of little things and distractions that would show up in the photos later, such as purses, waste baskets, and things on the floor or in the background. ** Strategic use of ambient lighting. The flash is not always needed, and sometimes photos are better without. ** Last but certainly not least, composition. Gosia seems to have a good instinct for composition (It just matched my likes anyway.) This includes how she properly used the stair case, chairs and other props. ** Worked interior and exterior lighting well. Fantastic job Gosia! Thank you for capturing my daughter's wedding so perfectly.

Words cannot describe how amazing Gosia is! Not only does she take stunning photos but she has a personality that is one of a kind! I know a lot of people don't like being in wedding photos because it's "boring or takes too long" but Gosia had our whole wedding party cracking up and having fun with it! Gosia came recommended to us as a "preferred vendor" from our wedding site. As an out-of-town couple, we relied heavily on our online research and recommendations from others in the Fox Cities in choosing vendors for our wedding. Upon our first conversation with Gosia, we were very impressed by her professionalism, her ideas for our day, and her clear knowledge and expertise. She knew the time of the sunset and the best shots at our location to get; it was clear she came prepared. After looking at her online galleries and comparing her to other local photographers, we decided that she was by far the best value. We knew that if we were going to pay someone to photograph us, we wanted it to be worth our money, and Gosia totally and completely was. From the engagement session through the day of, she was excellent. She worked within our timelines, made sure we got the poses we wanted, and sent us our shots more quickly than we expected! We have loved all the photos we've received from both sessions (engagement and wedding), and we had many compliments on her poise, interaction with guests, and excellent photography skills from the wedding party and other guests. My dad, a photography hobbyist himself, called her work "stunning", and I have to agree! She's particularly great at using natural light to highlight her shots, and included some great natural details, which we loved. She did well with directing large groups of people (for the formal family shots) and designing a balanced group photo. As I've been a part of other wedding parties recently, I have been greatly impressed by her natural talent, flexibility, professionalism, and engaging attitude. She has been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her to other brides! I felt her prices were fair (equivalent to other local photographers) and her quality was the best that we saw, so there was no competition. In my opinion, Gosia is the best photographer in the Fox Cities that I've worked with, and I'm very happy to have had her photograph my big day!

Wow! Where to begin? From the first time talking to Gosia on the phone I knew that she had to take our photos at our wedding! It was so nice having someone talk you through your big day. I absolutely hate taking pictures. And so I dreaded the coming wedding. Along came Gosia though and calmed every one of my fears. She is business and fun rolled into one. After I saw the pictures from my brother's wedding I knew she was the right fit. Her pictures are gorgeous! They are everything from traditional to wildly unique. She really managed to capture "us" in our own particular way. It was absolutely amazing to work with her. I've never been so relaxed taking photos. Would definitely hire her again. Who knows, maybe when the babies come :)

Gosia's photography for my daughter's wedding was so unique and insightful. She was so well organized the day of the wedding. We were impressed at how she knew what shot she was taking next-she actually had a list of photos she wanted to stage for family photos. She gently guided us from one post to the next. From the bridal party getting ready to ending the day at the dance, Gosia had very good angles and almost read our minds regarding the shots we would have taken, if we had cameras! My daughter had given Gosia the places she wished to take pictures - Gosia was more than happy to accommodate her wishes. The final pictures were breathtaking, and priceless tresures of this wonderful day! Much, much appreciation to Gosia!

Gosia was all business but made the process fun at the same time. She works very hard and you feel like you are getting what you paid for. She is truly an artist and her work is creative and beautiful.

Gosia is the most AMAZING wedding photographer!! As my husband and I were in the beginning stages of our planning and we were looking to hire our photographer, my cousin's sister-in-law recommended Gosia. I looked at my cousin's sister-in-law's photos that Gosia captured on their wedding day, and I instantly loved her photos! My husband and I did some research on Gosia's website - we loved the professional quality and color of her photos and even her price fit in our budget! After we met with her to discuss details and got to know her a bit more in person, we knew she was the right person to take our photos. We took our engagement photos at Plamann Park and it was so much fun! She is a great director on how to create natural and professional poses that capture the "love" in our relationship. She captured beautiful photos of us with a beautiful sunset in the evening :-). After working with her for the first time, it felt like she became a close friend to us. Even though we had a lot of rain (a very lucky day for us!) and overcast weather on our wedding day, Gosia took the most STUNNING photos! The moment that she walked into my bridal dressing room, I was so excited to have her there with us! It was so much fun taking our wedding photos with her, and again, she knew exactly where she wanted to photograph us and our family for formal photos! We could not be happier with our photos! We will always have those photos forever to cherish our most special day of our lives!!!!! We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and Gosia truly captured every single beautiful moment of us, and our family and friends :-) We will most definitely recommend her to our family and friends who are planning their weddings!!!! My husband and I hired Gosia to photograph our wedding after previously working with her for my best friend's wedding. As a bridesmaid, I was immediately impressed with how knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful she was throughout the whole day as she documented everything--moments big and small--for my friend and her husband. She did such a good job for their wedding that we looked into hiring her for ours. From the start, Gosia was very professional. At our first meeting to "interview" her, she gave us a bunch of helpful information and was very honest about her journalistic approach. We liked that she was easy to talk to and that we felt comfortable around her. She remembered us from my friend's wedding, and she was a good listener as we told her more details about us and what we liked, what we were hoping for in our photographer, what our vision was for our big day, etc. She was cheaper than a lot of the other photographers out there, and I knew she took great pictures from personal experience. What better combination is there? I am so happy we went with her! We got to know her better during our engagement session, which turned out to be awesome. She was super flexible about scheduling this, as we had to change the date once due to bad weather. She was quick to e-mail/call and get back to me about setting up a new date. My husband and I were a little nervous about our session, as we really wanted the pictures to turn out nice. We were kind of shy during the first few minutes of the session but her easy-going personality helped us relax and be ourselves. We look so natural in our pictures, and she captured the best in us in those moments. After seeing how neat those pictures turned out, we were even more excited for our wedding! She met with us a few times before the big day and helped us figure out our photography plan/schedule. We followed her lead on all of this, trusting in her years of experience. She helped us develop things like our portrait list for family formals on the altar so that we wouldn't have to scramble on the day-of. She made sure we had a back-up plan for weather, and she was really accommodating of our concern about outdoor pictures/lighting since we got married in January. These meetings combined with our engagement session and my friend's wedding helped us feel like we really knew Gosia and we were happy to have her document our special day. It wasn't at all awkward or intrusive like it might have been had I hired someone I wasn't comfortable with or didn't know as well. While getting ready on the morning of the wedding, she gave me my privacy and personal space until I got into my dress. Then she photographed important shots like buttoning up my dress, hugging my mom, seeing my dad for the first time, etc. During the whole ceremony, I was impressed with how she was able to get as many shots as she did. She was so subtle and not distracting. She was respectful during Communion as well. Due to our lighting time constraint, we chose not to do a receiving line and she was really helpful about that. She was organized with my list of family formals on the altar and zipped through these while still paying attention to detail. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful winter day so we were able to get some outdoor pictures. They are absolutely to die for! Gosia did an excellent job braving the cold for us to get some out-of-this-world shots. I would definitely recommend Gosia for any wedding. She's 5 stars for sure!

I could not be more happy with my wedding photos. I can't get over the number of comments I have gotten on what a fantastic job Gosia has done. She does an amazing job at really capturing the moment. She remains professional and organized and really keeps everyone together during such a chaotic time. Really, her work is AMAZING! And she is easy to work with too. Being the nervous wound tight bride that I was, she answered my every e-mail with record timing. I highly reccomed Gosia photography.

After proposing I dreaded the thought of all of the pictures I would be a part of in the near future. Luckily we found Gosia and we had an absolute blast with both the engagement photo shoot and the wedding pictures. My husband and I are so pleased with Gosia's photography. Her professionalism is needed yet she is fun and spunky and thinks outside of the box. She also is able to round up rowdy crowds if needed. I love our engagement and wedding photos and could not be happier. She responds to e-mails and texts timely and I'm never waiting on a response. She is worth every penny! Also, she has a fantastic turn around time for getting your pictures back to you, edited. I don't know if we even waited two weeks!

We were looking through the many photographers on The Knot and came across Gosia's site. We talked with her first over the phone and she immediately made you feel like family and discussed all of the details of the process so we knew exactly what to expect. We met her for the first time for our engagement photos and we instantly felt comfortable with her. We had a great time walking around downtown Milwaukee and got some great photos. Before the wedding she kept in touch to ensure she knew what the game plan was for the day and where she needed to be. On the day of she took charge of what needed to be done and directed everyone to where they needed to be for photos. She was enthusiastic throughout the entire day got through our entire photo shoot wish list. Part of our package was we got cards for our guests with our gallery on it so afterwards they could go online and see photos of the wedding. Everyone loved it because they could see the photos in a week or so. She took so many photos and they are all stunning. We have gotten so many compliments on our photos and how well the capture the day. I cannot thank Gosia enough for the wonderful job she did. We are so fortunate to have gotten such a wonderful photographer to capture one of the greatest days of our lives. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fun loving, enthusiastic photographer who immediately makes you feel like family.
