Goucher College

Goucher College, located about 30 minutes north of Baltimore City and 40 minutes north of Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, offers a beautiful non-denominational chapel and a unique reception space that allows for customizable room configurations for your wedding. Dedicated in 1963, the Haebler Memorial Chapel is a non-denominational chapel that makes a gorgeous location for wedding ceremonies. Haebler’s luxuriant appointments include an Italian marble altar, chancel furnishings, and oak pews with walnut accents. Above the front door is a beautiful rose window, and the room is flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows of silver and blue leaded glass. A short walking distance from the chapel is a courtyard outside the Alumni House, where you can host either cocktail hour or a small outdoor reception. The Hyman Forum, located in the Sanford J. Ungar Athenaeum and also a short walking distance from the chapel and courtyard, is a wide-open and versatile venue that makes for a unique reception space. The steps leading up from the stage are designed to accommodate crowds of various sizes and provide space for lounge seating. The stage is the perfect location for a live band or DJ.
