me to understand our vision for the wedding, was incredibly flexible, and allowed us to customize the menus and services so that we could stay on budget. The food at our rehearsal dinner and wedding was top notch. We received several comments from guests that the food was the best they ever had at a wedding. Furthermore, the waitstaff and bartenders were very friendly and professional, and ensured that everyone was taken care of through the night.

rom the tasting, to a COVID rescheduling (of which they were super fair and offered many options for moving forward), to the day before where Sarah's assistant came up to meet with me at the venue to discuss the next day 30 minutes up a rough dirt road, to pumping out all our requests - drinks, pre ceremony apps, post ceremony apps, dinner, and dessert, Sarah and her team were accommodating, gracious, fair and just the best. They made sure we got to eat and try everything and if we hadn't been so busy with our guests, we would have eaten a lot more! We received rave reviews. Our guests are still talking about the goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon, skewered ginger shrimp with sweet chili glaze, the summer greens salad, the grilled salmon with lemon beurre blanc, the mushroom risotto, and the custom smore cookies. Many of them asked if the Gourmet Cowboy does this kind of stuff at their Minturn restaurant and some of our guests even went there late night/ the next day to go get wings! Our tasting was incredible. There was SO much food, and everything was SO good! Sarah was also my day of wedding coordinator, and it was very clear that she’s done this a lot. She was very organized and thought of everything! On the day of the wedding, she made sure that my husband and I were getting enough food and drinks during the cocktail our and dinner. Everyone says “you never eat on your wedding day” but with Sarah that is not true! She took care of us :)

The food was to die for and we got a TON of compliments from guests. The only critique I had was the table linens were a little wrinkly and the plates were kind of a cream color that I didn't love... but, very small potatoes. Only mishap was the remainder of our wedding cake got "lost". Never found out who was responsible, so can't pin this one directly on Gourmet Cowboy. Bit of a bummer though.

sidering them before even meeting with them. During our taste testing it was obvious right away that they were who were would be using. The food was excellent, and the customer service impeccable. From the moment we stepped through their doors for the tasting all the way to the end of the reception they were nothing short of exceptional. Any and all questions throughout the whole process were answered in a timely and thorough manner. And they made our reception easy. The apps were delicious and out quickly, the servers were kind and efficient, the entrees were delicious, the set-up was just the way I wanted, and the cleaned up fabulously. I would highly recommend them for any catering needs, be it wedding, office party, home Christmas party, whatever. They will do a phenomenal job!
