me to understand our vision for the wedding, was incredibly flexible, and allowed us to customize the menus and services so that we could stay on budget. The food at our rehearsal dinner and wedding was top notch. We received several comments from guests that the food was the best they ever had at a wedding. Furthermore, the waitstaff and bartenders were very friendly and professional, and ensured that everyone was taken care of through the night.
Sarah and her husband make an amazing team! We had our wedding in a remote location that they had prior experience with and we could not have been more thrilled with the results. F...
rom the tasting, to a COVID rescheduling (of which they were super fair and offered many options for moving forward), to the day before where Sarah's assistant came up to meet with me at the venue to discuss the next day 30 minutes up a rough dirt road, to pumping out all our requests - drinks, pre ceremony apps, post ceremony apps, dinner, and dessert, Sarah and her team were accommodating, gracious, fair and just the best. They made sure we got to eat and try everything and if we hadn't been so busy with our guests, we would have eaten a lot more! We received rave reviews. Our guests are still talking about the goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon, skewered ginger shrimp with sweet chili glaze, the summer greens salad, the grilled salmon with lemon beurre blanc, the mushroom risotto, and the custom smore cookies. Many of them asked if the Gourmet Cowboy does this kind of stuff at their Minturn restaurant and some of our guests even went there late night/ the next day to go get wings! That's how great the service and food were. So incredibly happy with the results. Thank you Gourmet Cowboy! - Sierra & Eric

In the weeks leading up to our big day, Gourmet Cowboy was responsive, alert, and supportive of our menu decisions. On the day of, the food could not have been more delicious!
All 150+ of our guests were very complimentary of the delicious 2-course duet dinner Gourmet Cowboy provided. My wife and I would 100% recommend this caterer to friends, family, and strangers!
Thank you Sarah and Gourmet Cowboy caterers!

middle of COVID. And for anyone looking to have children at their reception, the personal pizzas they made (and served right away) were a huge hit!
Sarah and Kip were a pleasure to work with! They are an amazing team, and so professional. In the beginning, I will admit, I was a little nervous because Sarah didn’t always get ba...
ck to me very quickly, and I would have to follow up a lot. But as the day got closer, Sarah was incredibly attentive and super helpful with any questions or changes I had. Our tasting was incredible. There was SO much food, and everything was SO good! Sarah was also my day of wedding coordinator, and it was very clear that she’s done this a lot. She was very organized and thought of everything! On the day of the wedding, she made sure that my husband and I were getting enough food and drinks during the cocktail our and dinner. Everyone says “you never eat on your wedding day” but with Sarah that is not true! She took care of us :)
Everyone raved about the food! We had a special request for lobster roll sliders during the cocktail hour, and they were a huge hit! Really, we got so many compliments from guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I can’t thank Sarah and her team enough!!

ator and handled the pouring rain beautifully. She got the chuppah inside and everything set up for an inside ceremony and never let me feel the stress. Cannot recommend them enough!

e was wanting more- they even cleaned the place up at the end of the evening while we were saying goodbye to guests. From beginning to end- they do it all. Guests are still raving about best sliders they ever had. Highly recommend.
We had our reception at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, and used The Gourmet Cowboy for our catering (apps, dinner, linens, glassware). Sarah with Gourmet Cowboy was really responsiv...
e and accommodating. She worked with me to get within my budget, but still get the menu I wanted. She responded by e-mail very quickly and everything went really smoothly the day of. The food was to die for and we got a TON of compliments from guests. The only critique I had was the table linens were a little wrinkly and the plates were kind of a cream color that I didn't love... but, very small potatoes. All and all, VERY happy with the service, food, and presentation!
All of my guests were obsessed with the appetizers! I liked having the freedom to really create a menu that we were proud to serve our guests. Sarah did a great job taking in all o...
f my details to help make my vision into reality! She and her assistant Brandon kept things running smoothly and they were able to keep my nerves under control...I can honestly say I was able to let go of planning mode and fully enjoy my day because I knew they had things handled :) I would absolutely recommend especially if you are at Donovan Pavilion - they have the coordination down perfectly and know the venue well!
Sarah was very helpful and easy to work with! There were a couple problems with the staff but overall good food!
Amazing food, great selection, dee-lish! I was highly impressed with the apps and everyone loved their plated dinners. My favorite was the mahi-mahi.

e cocktail/hors d'oeuvres because photos took longer than anticipated. Gourmet Cowboy was thoughtful enough to save us a plate with two of each of the apps for us! Such a nice touch!
Only mishap was the remainder of our wedding cake got "lost". Never found out who was responsible, so can't pin this one directly on Gourmet Cowboy. Bit of a bummer though.

sidering them before even meeting with them. During our taste testing it was obvious right away that they were who were would be using. The food was excellent, and the customer service impeccable. From the moment we stepped through their doors for the tasting all the way to the end of the reception they were nothing short of exceptional. Any and all questions throughout the whole process were answered in a timely and thorough manner. And they made our reception easy. The apps were delicious and out quickly, the servers were kind and efficient, the entrees were delicious, the set-up was just the way I wanted, and the cleaned up fabulously. I would highly recommend them for any catering needs, be it wedding, office party, home Christmas party, whatever. They will do a phenomenal job!
