ing our very short time in Honolulu the year prior to our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing and our guests were raving about it all weekend. My husband was adamant about having asian fusion and GEH made sure he got what he wanted! And I can't forget to mention the SERVICE. Oh my....our guests could not stop talking about how great the service was. When guests were finished with their drinks, the GEH staff was already there with a refill before they could even blink! They refilled, refreshed, and kept our guests dry!!! (we had some unexpected rain) Xascha and Kayleigh were the best at following up and communicating with us. GEH is truly the best in the business. I HIGHLY recommend them!

as shifting, so our new planner was Kayleigh. We were excited though that Xascha was still going to be apart of our special day, just in a different role. Kayleigh was so on top of every detail. It was so worth it to pay to work closely with her and the vendors. She recommended all the vendors for us, and nearly every person she recommended we loved instantly. Gourmet set up our food tasting, which was also a fantastic experience. Once we decided on vendors, Kayleigh took care of everything from that point on. I was not worried for one second that something wouldn't go flawlessly on the wedding day. The day of the wedding, the staff were beyond exceptional. It started to rain a bit when my dad was giving his speech, and I kid you not, one of the GEH staff members (whom I'm blanking on the name right now!!!) stood with an umbrella over my dad's head while she got soaked so he could give his speech. It was the best customer service experience I've ever had in my life. The other staff members used towels to dry the dance floor quickly once the rain stopped. I highly recommend using GEH to anyone getting married here in Hawaii. I'm local to the island- but I'm sure the experience would be just as great if you don't live here! Thanks GEH!

so refreshing to know that they really had my best interest in mind seeing as I was planning our wedding from Az. The day we arrived Gina and Kimi came to the house/venue to take pictures and layout the final plan. Gina was sending me emails the morning of the wedding at 5am notifying me that the tropical storm from the night before had all the streets to the north shore closed. She told me not to worry she was keeping track of road openings and was notifying all the other venders as well. At the end of the day the entire wedding was amazing. Gina was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even with ALL the family drama she kept her cool and kept me calm and took care of EVERYTHING. I would hands down recommend this company and especially Gina and Kimi to every bride in Oahu. Seriously!!!!

Kayla from Gourmet Events Hawaii went above and beyond her duties to give me the best wedding day. We worked side by side for well over 7 months (I'm very picky and always change my mind), she always had an upbeat attitude and answered all of my questions.
The day of the wedding she was at my venue at 9 am and didn't leave until all of the vendors had left (11 pm). She kept everything on schedule, and worked with multiple vendors to ensure everything was setup properly, this included (MC, music, photobooth, officiant, rentals, food, drinks, waitresses, bartender, etc).
I highly recommend Gourmet Events Hawaii and especially Kayla Dunn. Oh, and the food was AMAZING! Thanks Chef Will!

get & worked with it, even threw in somethings at no charge, she had worked our venue before & had a beautiful layout planned, worked around our schedule & was available on weekends, communicated very well & responded quickly. She scheduled our tasting with the chef & it was amazing. We signed the contract with her & put down the 50% deposit. 3 months before my wedding I received an email that she was no longer with the company & that another person would take over my account. I understood that things happen, but it was like I starting all over again & I felt that the promises made should still be valid. The new person had a completely different personality, more of a business/sales person, & she was just handling the paperwork side, there would be another person for the day of. This is were I had most of my downs, lots of miscommunications, I had to edit the rentals & inform of the mistakes made, even though I paid the extra money for them the handle all rentals, she didn't try to work with our budget (I asked the rental company what was effective & yet budget friendly for lighting, which resulted in me saving $200, & I rented linens from ALSCO instead of the rental company & saved $400!). I did like that we were able to drop off all of the centerpieces, alcohol, decor, and linen at the office so they could bring it with them on the day of. We had a walk thru of the venue with my "day of" event coordinator/staff manager. The "day of" person was more of planner & she regained my trust. She had lots of ideas that were beautiful & still effective for guest & staff while being economically friendly. For my big day, the coordinator really pulled through! She & the staff worked really hard throughout the night, made adjustments quickly when the rain changed the location of the ceremony, made sure changes went through my approval first & she personally made sure that we were taken care of throughout the whole wedding.

thermore, all participants of the GEH team were very professional, courteous, and added to a memorable experience. First, to provide some detail into the success of our wedding, there was timely arrival of all vendors. Second, setup at the venue was done quickly and ahead of the originally planned schedule. Third, the recommended florist provided beautiful and lively floral arrangements that complimented the venue perfectly. Fourth, the recommended makeup/hairdressers did a great job of keeping the hair and makeup of the women in good condition (even in the humid Hawaiian air.) Fifth, the food was delicious; in fact one of our guests suggested that the Kalua pig was the best she has had. Sixth, the entertainment and photographers that GEH recommended went out of their way to make the evening special. For example, the photographers stayed much longer than the allotted time and the entertainers were very alert to play the first dance song when my wife and I decided to dance out of sequence. And lastly, the event coordinator did a fantastic job of managing and simplifying such a complex event. Overall, I would highly recommend GEH to plan any event due to their professional nature, ease of planning, and exception execution. We were extremely pleased.

's backyard. Sateash then replaced Marinanand was able to follow our vision as well. The catering staff & bartenders were amazing. The lead manager and staff exceeded our expectations and catered to our every need. We had a buffet style dinner with passed hors d'ourves. The food tasted excellent and the service was impeccable. We would recommend this company to any bride who wants an amazing wedding!

e BEST catered food I have ever had! They not only customized a menu for the guests I had but they worked within my budget. They also provided the BEST service I have ever experienced at any event. As soon as our ceremony was over...they were right there with appetizers and drinks for all of our guests so we were free to go off to take pictures. Once pictures were over, they had the champagne flowing and dinner was served. Their staff was well dressed and totally professional...attentive to all my guests needs. Our guests are STILL raving about the amazing food! Marina Jones at GEH was my "go to " lady. With her vast knowledge of food and event planning...I was actually able to relax and enjoy my day. If I could give them TEN stars in stead of five..I absolutely would! Bravo and thank you GEH for an amazing wedding...we LOVE you!

We would highly recommended them for both of the above services! PS-Cost per head was for the food only (not staff, alcohol, etc...).
