I ended up purchasing the first dress I tried on! Great experience working with gown boutique!
I went to several bridal boutiques in Charleston in search of a wedding gown. Gown Boutique stood out among them all - their professionalism and communication, genuine and personab...
le stylists, and gown selection are truly unmatched! They had me favorite gowns in their inventory leading up to my appointment, in order to get a feel for my style and what dresses to pull for me. However, they also let me look through the racks as much as I pleased! Gown Boutique also sees you through your entire bridal experience - after finding my dress, I scheduled an appointment to find some accessories and am now having my gown preserved through them as well! Emily was my stylist during my initial appointment, and she was wonderful - but everyone I've interacted with in-person or over the phone has been so pleasant and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough!
I LOVED every second of trying on gowns at Gown Boutique of Charleston. They helped me find the perfect rehearsal dinner dress that truly fit my fun personality!
I had a wonderful experience with Gown Boutique of Charleston when it came to dry cleaning my wedding dress. Since I am no longer local and my wedding ended up being a destination ...
celebration, I was a little nervous about coordinating everything from afar. From the very beginning, their team made the entire process seamless and stress-free. They were incredibly responsive, clear with communication, and so easy to work with when it came to scheduling.
Their level of professionalism truly stood out. They handled my gown with such care and attention to detail, which meant so much given how sentimental it is. Even coordinating timelines and appointments from out of town, everything was managed efficiently and exactly as promised. They made me feel confident that my dress was in great hands the entire time.
Most importantly, they were always on time and reliable, which is so important during the busy wedding season. I am so grateful for their excellent service and would highly recommend them to anyone local or planning a wedding from a distance. They made what could have been a complicated process incredibly simple and smooth.

I was asking for and found me the most beautifully perfect dress. With the help of Janet, the owner, and few other consultants in the studio, they essentially built me my dream gown; plucked it right out of my head and made it a reality. felt like I was in good hands. She took the time to welcome my mom, maid of honor, and me and take a look at some inspo photos I had brought. The first gown she picked out for me was almost perfect and she clearly listened to what I felt was still needed because after trying on just a few more gowns the fourth gown I tried on was the one! Everything about this experience was amazing and I actually ended up cancelling all my other appointments at other shops that day!

vent. Alexis took so much time to really get to know me as the bride, listen to my specific vision and wishes, and involved my bridesmaids and family in a very fun way! I wasn't expecting to leave with my wedding dress after this appointment but the options GB has to offer is phenomenal and Alexis's knowledge of the various gown options truly made this day that much more stress free. Alexis listened to my likes/ dislikes of the dresses we tried on, provided me with other options that fit my vision when I would comment on specific qualities of gowns and made it come to life. She made me feel like the most beautiful, confident bride who was ready to walk down the aisle to the love of my life. I couldn't have imagined this moment any more perfect than it already was and it was all thanks to Gown Boutique and Alexis! Thank you all for everything you do.

The process was so easy and the dress came quicker than anticipated. Every step of the process was easy and fun with GBC- which is saying a lot because it can be such a stressful and difficult decision!

They listened to everything I had to say and I loved that they said "tell me what you don't like, you won't hurt our feelings". They worked with me to customize dresses to get exactly what I wanted. I can't say enough good things about Katherine! She was so sweet and made me feel so beautiful in the dresses. Ultimately, it was her insight that helped me choose between two dresses I really loved.

y stylist, Rachel, pulled a variety of dresses that were well within my budget and that also were exactly what I was looking to try on and also showed me the sample dress rack to look at. She was so considerate and easy going and made me feel completely comfortable. The owner, Janet, personally weighed in and pulled some dresses as well based on what I wanted and actually ended up pulling the dress that I went with. They were both so easy to work with and suggested little tweaks and additions to make everything exactly how I wanted it. I am so relieved that I was able to get in there because it truly is leagues above everywhere else. Do not go wedding dress shopping in Charleston without going here. And you might want to make it the last appointment you have or the only one because I can pretty much guarantee you won’t want or need to go anywhere else!!!

ander! It was certainly meant to be. Alexis and Janet both helped me, and they are the most genuine and kind people. They are truly there to be your biggest cheerleaders, and your voice of reason throughout the experience. Since it was really last minute for me, I only had a couple people with me, and we facetimed the rest of my family. Alexis made sure that my family on ft were able to see the entire time, and she was the most patient person when I had a hard time deciding. I've been with a few friends at bridal appointments, and I've never had a fun, personal experience like this one. At GBC they go above and beyond. And be prepared, when they put on the veil and hand you the flowers, you will cry all the happy tears!

h and every dress I tried on. I honestly do not have enough characters to type out how wonderful she was. She took the time to understand what you like and dislike while showing you all options until you reach the final one (and wasn’t sales-pushy at alll)!
The owner was close by to share additional comments and ideas as well and you could feel how awesome of a team they have. Again, for someone who has such a hard time making a decision, they made it so comfortable and were so patient.

She was bending over backward for me and my three guests to make sure we had the best experience possible. antly greeted and taken to our area. Jamie had me in happy tears before I even talked about a wedding dress. One of my bridesmaids/best friend could not make the dress appointment so she had flowers sent to the shop the day before my appointment. Jamie kept the flowers and brought out the flowers saying the most wonderful things, which made me lose it (in a great way)! Jamie really understood what I was looking for in a dress and helped pick out some amazing dresses. It was almost hard to choose because every dress was so beautiful! I never thought that I would have the issue of being in love with every dress that I tried on! Jamie made the experience feel like I was shopping with a best friend, even though I had only met her minutes before! Her amazing positive energy made the whole experience so much fun, she truly made me feel SO beautiful in every single dress that I tried on. GBC really made the whole experience from beginning to ¨popping the champs¨ and throwing confetti when saying ¨yes to the dress¨ a day that I will truly never forget. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to go to Gown Boutique of Charleston if they are looking for an amazing experience wedding dress shopping. Just be prepared, because there is a VERY high chance that you will find the absolute dress of your dreams and leave there with the biggest smile on your face for days!
