Without a doubt Gown Boutique is simply the best. The owner, Janet, was absolutely phenomenal throughout the entire process, really making every second enjoyable and stress-free! I was immediately put at ease with her warm and welcoming presence. She really listend to me to understand my likes and dislikes and helped me find the most perfect dress I could have ever asked for! The entire team was so helpful through the fittings and picking up my gown. I would absolutely recommend them to any and every bride!

We had such an amazing experience at Gown Boutique! The communication and professionalism was a real treat, from the moment we booked an appointment to the moment we left! This was my first time trying on dresses and I really had no idea what to expect or how the process worked. Jasmine flawlessly guided me through the process with patience and grace, not pushing me in any direction whatsoever! I had an amazing experience with Gown Boutique of Charleston! Jasmine was incredibly attentive, they listened to my feedback and helped me pick my dream dress. As a plus size bride, dress shopping can be nerve-wracking but GBC had plenty of options and sample dresses that actually fit! I loved the atmosphere, they were welcoming and answered all of our questions. I never felt pressured or like they were trying to make a sale. Cannot recommend them enough!

Last Saturday, I found my dream dress. Alexis made it so memorable. Made me feel so comfortable and made me feel so good about myself. I had an amazing experience at Gown Boutique! My stylist, Alexis, was incredible! She was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. It's clear she has a passion for this and I felt like I was in good hands. She took the time to welcome my mom, maid of honor, and me and take a look at some inspo photos I had brought. The first gown she picked out for me was almost perfect and she clearly listened to what I felt was still needed because after trying on just a few more gowns the fourth gown I tried on was the one! Everything about this experience was amazing and I actually ended up cancelling all my other appointments at other shops that day!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the ladies at Gown Boutique! From the moment we arrived to the very end, everyone was so kind and helpful in what can be a very stressful event. Alexis took so much time to really get to know me as the bride, listen to my specific vision and wishes, and involved my bridesmaids and family in a very fun way! I wasn't expecting to leave with my wedding dress after this appointment but the options GB has to offer is phenomenal and Alexis's knowledge of the various gown options truly made this day that much more stress free. Alexis listened to my likes/ dislikes of the dresses we tried on, provided me with other options that fit my vision when I would comment on specific qualities of gowns and made it come to life. She made me feel like the most beautiful, confident bride who was ready to walk down the aisle to the love of my life. I would highly recommend using GBC to find your dream dress for your big day. The process was easy, the employees were friendly and helpful, and the store itself was beautiful. They have a huge selection of dresses and Jamie was very knowledgeable about their stock and other wedding dress info. I had sent some inspo pictures and Jamie had the absolute perfect dress picked out for me before I even walked in. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the one. Once I tried it on, I was sold. The process was so easy and the dress came quicker than anticipated. Every step of the process was easy and fun with GBC- which is saying a lot because it can be such a stressful and difficult decision!

I was so nervous about wedding dress shopping and I honestly didn't expect to find one. Gown Boutique was the first store I went to and they made me feel so comfortable. I had the best experience finding my gown here!! Celine & Janet went above and beyond to ensure that I felt like a bride while also including my family in the gown decision process. They were both extremely attentive to my needs & wishes for designs that I hoped to see in my dream gown. They went out of their way to attach different lace patterns as well as attach different sleeves to my dress to allow me to vision what my dream dress would be. I confidently left my appointment saying yes to the dress and finding the most perfect dress for my special day. Also, they have the BEST champagne drink that they greet you with on arrival. They were all so friendly and sweet and wanted to get to know my fiancé and our love story. They were able to fit me in to an appointment slot that got cancelled and were so accommodating! They truly have the best dress selection. I was amazed by every dress I tried on. My stylist, Rachel, pulled a variety of dresses that were well within my budget and that also were exactly what I was looking to try on and also showed me the sample dress rack to look at. She was so considerate and easy going and made me feel completely comfortable. The owner, Janet, personally weighed in and pulled some dresses as well based on what I wanted and actually ended up pulling the dress that I went with. They were both so easy to work with and suggested little tweaks and additions to make everything exactly how I wanted it. I am so relieved that I was able to get in there because it truly is leagues above everywhere else. Do not go wedding dress shopping in Charleston without going here. And you might want to make it the last appointment you have or the only one because I can pretty much guarantee you won’t want or need to go anywhere else!!!

I visited Gown Boutique to find my dream wedding dress, and boy did I walk away with the biggest smile on my face. I had multiple inspiration photos, and Alexis grabbed a bunch that she thought would be perfect. Not only are the staff there super sweet, but the ambience is great too. Very clean, professional, and bright! My girls and I were given champagne, and we just had the best time! I had the most incredible experience at GBC! I attended a fashion show there, and found out that they were having a trunk show a few weeks after for my favorite designer, All Who Wander! It was certainly meant to be. Alexis and Janet both helped me, and they are the most genuine and kind people. They are truly there to be your biggest cheerleaders, and your voice of reason throughout the experience. Since it was really last minute for me, I only had a couple people with me, and we facetimed the rest of my family. Alexis made sure that my family on ft were able to see the entire time, and she was the most patient person when I had a hard time deciding. I've been with a few friends at bridal appointments, and I've never had a fun, personal experience like this one. At GBC they go above and beyond. And be prepared, when they put on the veil and hand you the flowers, you will cry all the happy tears!

I genuinely cannot recommend this store enough. From the moment we walked in all stress of wedding planning went out the door. Celine was so patient and was so accommodating to each and every dress I tried on. I honestly do not have enough characters to type out how wonderful she was. She took the time to understand what you like and dislike while showing you all options until you reach the final one (and wasn’t sales-pushy at alll)! The owner was close by to share additional comments and ideas as well and you could feel how awesome of a team they have. Again, for someone who has such a hard time making a decision, they made it so comfortable and were so patient.

After visiting 7 bridal salons, I said YES to the dress at BGC! Alexis was absolutely better than amazing! She gave me honest advice and went above and beyond to help me find the one. She found the style I liked and picked the perfect dress. Was then helping with accessories and color matching of bridesmaid's dresses. She was bending over backward for me and my three guests to make sure we had the best experience possible. If I could do it all over again, I would hands down start with Alexis first because she was an absolute rockstar and made the experience so much better compared to other salons!

Gown Boutique of Charleston truly made my dreams come true! If I have one piece of advice for brides, it is start your dress shopping here - it will likely be the only stop you need. From the moment we walked in the door I felt at ease and knew I was in good hands. Ann was BEYOND amazing - she is extremely knowledgeable about all their dresses and designers. She made my wedding day vision come to life and I could not be more grateful. The shop itself it beautiful, the gowns are gorgeous and the people are the best of the best. I will always remember this day and I want to go back and do it all over again!

I could not have possibly asked for a better wedding dress shopping experience!! Jamie is such a DREAM to work with! Right when myself, mom, and bridesmaids showed up, we were instantly greeted and taken to our area. Jamie had me in happy tears before I even talked about a wedding dress. One of my bridesmaids/best friend could not make the dress appointment so she had flowers sent to the shop the day before my appointment. Jamie kept the flowers and brought out the flowers saying the most wonderful things, which made me lose it (in a great way)! Jamie really understood what I was looking for in a dress and helped pick out some amazing dresses. It was almost hard to choose because every dress was so beautiful! I never thought that I would have the issue of being in love with every dress that I tried on! Jamie made the experience feel like I was shopping with a best friend, even though I had only met her minutes before! Her amazing positive energy made the whole experience so much fun, she truly made me feel SO beautiful in every single dress that I tried on. GBC really made the whole experience from beginning to ¨popping the champs¨ and throwing confetti when saying ¨yes to the dress¨ a day that I will truly never forget. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to go to Gown Boutique of Charleston if they are looking for an amazing experience wedding dress shopping. Just be prepared, because there is a VERY high chance that you will find the absolute dress of your dreams and leave there with the biggest smile on your face for days!

I don't even know where to begin! I could not have asked for a better shopping experience at GBC in finding the perfect dress for our big day. I traveled from Atlanta for my appointment because our wedding is in Charleston and I am so glad I did! My stylist, Jamie Smolik made the whole experience an absolute DREAM! She was positively upbeat, patient, incredibly knowledgable, the best hype girl a bride could ask for and made the entire process easy and so fun. It is a day I will remember for the rest of my life! My Mum said it best ~ we all need to be more like Jamie! Super fun, have more pink in our lives and drink rose all the way! To future brides looking at GBC - BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT & ask for Jamie! GBC exceeded all my expectations and made the day of picking out my wedding gown memorable. I am a plus size bride and was nervous to try on dresses. Alexis, my bridal stylist, made all my nerves disappear and made sure I had the best experience! Needless to say the third gown I tried on was THE ONE!!! The staff and Alexis are exceptional at what they do. From the moment you walk in the door GBC makes your day so very special! I cannot recommend the Gown Boutique of Charleston enough! As a plus size + curvy bride, I was worried that finding a dress would be hard. It was not! From the second I arrived, Jaime made me feel right at ease. She had us laughing and made the appointment so special for me. We talked about my style, my must haves then set off around the shop to find dresses. Every one she pulled was stunning! We narrowed it down to five and every one fit beautifully! Such a relief for this plus sized, curvy girl. I fell in love with the Iris dress! It fit like it was made for me. Jaime helped me find the perfect vail to go with it and it brought tears to all of our eyes. I am so thankful for her attention to detail and desire to make sure that I felt comfortable + beautiful in my dress. She made my day! We ordered the custom jean jacket with my new last name on the back too! Thank you Jaime & GBC for making my wedding dress dreams come true!

What an amazing experience! Jamie was awesome. GBC was awesome. I highly recommend you shop here for your dress. You will not regret it. This was my very first booking and I walked out with a dress I absolutely love. I had been doing a lot of research prior to making an appointment and absolutely every single dress I liked pointed me to GBC. To me that was a sign so I didn't even bother booking with anyone else. When I got there I was a little nervous, but I was met with so much excitement and smiles I felt super welcomed. I was very open to recommendations. This was my first appointment to look for wedding dresses, and I could not have been happier with my experience. Jamie was SO friendly and helpful!! She was very personable and made sure to make me feel beautiful in everything I tried on. With each dress, she took things I liked about it and brought out a new dress that had those same qualities. By the 5th dress, I absolutely fell in LOVE. I was a little hesitant on buying a dress from the first store I went to, but Jamie was right when she said she knew I’d be back for it. 2 hours later and I was on my way back to say yes to the dress!! I cannot express how joyful and exciting my appointment was, and can’t recommend this store enough!!

GBC is the best in the business. Before making an appointment here I tried on dresses at three different well known bridal stores and my experience at gown boutique doesn’t even compare. The staff are absolutely amazing (especially Jamie) and they take time to get to know you so they will better understand what you are looking for. I heard about Gown Boutique of Charleston through a fellow bride who had nothing but good things to say! I submitted an inquiry through their online portal and someone reached out immediately. For the month leading up to the appointment I emailed them photos of all the dresses that I liked as well as a bullet point list of what I I didn’t like. The day before, my sales rep, Jamie, reached out with a really sweet and personalized text reminder. When I went in the day-of, she greeted my ladies and me with a genuine and natural enthusiasm. I truly didn’t expect for her to have really studied the dress photos I sent, but she had and was very mindful of my wants and needs. As we started trying them on, I quickly realized that what I *thought* I wanted wasn’t what I wanted AT ALL lol. Jamie was so accommodating and flexible. There was no pressure whatsoever, and although I thought I would never buy a dress at my first trial BUT I’m happy to say that with Jamie’s help, that is now one less thing off my list!! After I said YES, Jamie doled out champagne and took our group’s photos so we could document and remember that moment forever! 10/10 would recommend to ANY bride.

My sister and I both did private Sunday appointments on 2 different days and both times we absolutely loved our experience here! The atmosphere is so fun and beautiful, the music is perfect, and my consultant Alexis was so attentive to me and my guests. Our consults worked MAGIC to find us each our perfect dress! And the free drinks and confetti wall are both such a nice touches that add so much to the overall experience. And finally, they have a HUGE selection of dresses to choose from so it's likely you'll find yours here. 10/10 would recommend!
