They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing after dinner and were fantastic throughout. They sounded great, we got lots of compliments from our guests, and best of all, we had a great time dancing!

We chose to do the DJ/Band combo they offer and they did not disappoint! Everyone at the wedding is still raving about how great they were! It was so much fun! But just as importantly, Linda and her team were very easy to work with during the months leading up to the big day, and we found her to be responsive and generous with her time when it came to planning wedding day logistics and picking out songs. And once the band started to play - everyone went crazy! Many of our guests (some of whom pride themselves on being armchair music critics and snobs) told us that the band was one of the best, if not THE best, wedding band they had seen. We also found their price to be a total bargain - we ended up going with the 2 hour live band and 2 hour DJ package, and the team did a great job emceeing the dinner hour, first dances and toasts before the live music kicked off. We can’t say enough good things about GQ and the Lady and we heartily recommend them for any type of big party or family event!

Mike (the drummer) is an incredible DJ, and he brought our guests to the dance floor right away. Our last two hours included music from the whole band, and the dance floor was filled for the whole evening. We have seen GQ and the Lady perform so many times, but we were blown away by how amazing their sound and the set list were. Our guests can’t stop raving about the band’s talent and the amazing show! e band had our guests dancing throughout the entire reception. They were able to quickly feel out the crowd and find the perfect mix of genres. It looked like the band was having a blast while playing and you could feel this unbelievable energy on the dance floor because of it. It has been a month since the wedding and our guests are still telling us about how awesome the band was. I cannot recommend them enough!

Our reception took place in a large pub with outdoor wrap around porch, and whether guests were dancing on the floor or chatting on the porch, we had many guests come up to us praising the band!

which during an extensive wedding planning process is extremely refreshing, she makes planning easy. She was open and flexible to our ideas and was willing to learn a special song for my dad. She was professional throughout and so amazing on the day of. She greeted me with a big hug and was so on top of every detail. Like I said prior, the dance floor was packed in the first 30 seconds of the evening and it never stopped. People danced all night long and after the event everyone wanted the band's information. They had an incredible performance and again made the entire process so enjoyable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have the best band for their big day!!!

xpectations after hearing such amazing prior reviews and they more than lived up to them! The vocalists were amazing! They had people up and dancing the entire night!! Its amazing the variety of songs they are able to play....everything from "Uptown Funk" to "Livin on a Prayer" to "Proud Mary" to "My Wish". They even learned the song we picked for our first dance! We could not have been more impressed or happy with the choice to book GQ and the Lady for our wedding!

There playlist was great- covered current hits to any guest requests. Linda was extremely professional, easy to talk to, and always reachable. If you are having a New England wedding I can't recommend a better band than GQ & the Lady.

They played a GREAT mix of songs (so many genres) that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night.... Old and young! We didn't stop! Everyone that we talk to about our wedding comments about how awesome the band was and how much fun they had! They are an extremely talented group of people. When planning our wedding it was a big priority of ours to have great entertainment so that we and all of our guests could have the best party! GQ and the Lady definitely delivered that and more. und GQ through my sister, actually, who is friends with their sound man. Since my now husband and I live out of state we sent my parents and a trusted aunt to see the band. They LOVED them and said we had to book them -- so we did. :-) And boy was that a good decision. Linda was great to work with -- really laid back but at the same time so competent. Exactly what you need to stay relaxed before the wedding. The band sounded great and even learned a song for us. EVERYONE who I've talked to about the wedding has said, more than any other feature, what a great band!! They kept people up dancing and seemed to read the crowd well. I wish I'd had more time to talk with them because they just seemed cool to hang out with too :-P. No complaints at all. A little expensive, but as my husband says "You've gotta pay to play." And they were worth every penny.

ancing all night long! Linda, the lead singer, was very organized as well. She contacted the event coordinator where we held our wedding months prior to the big day. She also had me fill out a worksheet specifying exactly how the night would go as far as introductions, cake cutting and special dances. GQ and the Lady is definitely the wedding band to hire!
