Owner Geraldine Albete, formerly Quesada, founded GQ Maui Events after many years in the hospitality and wedding industries. She named the company as an ode to the nickname GQ, which she got when she first started working in hotels. She moved to the celebrations department in 2008, designing over 1,000 successful events throughout the years, before leaving in 2016 and eventually going out on her own.
Geraldine believes that every occasion is as unique as the couple in love. She finds joy in bringing visions to life and seeing the happiness in the faces of all who celebrate. GQ Maui Events offers full-service planning, wedding management, and elopement packages so that all nearlyweds can find their best fit. Including everything from unlimited communication to timeline creation, she will ensure every moment is flawless.
