I had such an amazing experience with Grace + Ivory from start to finish. Their try-at-home program made wedding dress shopping feel so comfortable, stress-free, and personal. Being able to try dresses on in my own space, on my own time, completely changed the experience for me and made it so much more enjoyable. The process was seamless, organized, and incredibly easy to follow.
The Elise dress absolutely stole my heart. The quality, detail, and fit were stunning — the beading and elegant design made me feel beautiful the moment I put it on. You can truly tell how much care goes into their dresses.
What stood out the most, though, was Alexandra. She was so responsive, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. She answered questions quickly, made me feel supported, and genuinely cared about helping me find the perfect dress. It felt personal in the best way possible.
I would highly recommend Grace + Ivory to any bride looking for a unique, high-quality dress experience with exceptional service.
I cannot express just how absolutely wonderful my experience here was. I flew into Chicago from New York to look shop around for my perfect dress. My appointment at Grace + Ivory was everything I was looking for. I was greeted with a warm smile & presence by Jax. A big priority to her was to make sure I felt comfortable on expressing my opinions and making sure the dress felt right to me. She offered great advice during our appointment on what I should be looking for, not with the dress but with my feelings. “Does this dress make me feel like myself”, was my mantra while going through the collection. The really cool thing about this shop was everything was customizable which really opens up your imagination to what fits your needs in a way that’s not overwhelming. I ended up loving a top to one dress and a bottom to another and we put them together to make a dress I wouldn’t have ever imagined. I am so excited to wear this dress on my big day, and what feels even better is it came from a good place. The business is women owned and the people that work there truly love going to work and styling/designing these dresses. The dress isn’t just a dress I took from a rack. It’s a beautiful dress with a personal positive experience attached to it, and a cool story on how it’s custom to me. Wether you’re in the Chicago area or another state and are debating on checking them out, Go. It will absolutely be worth it.

Every wedding dress is made-to-measure and fully customizable, crafted with intention from quality fabrics like soft tulle, Italian crepe, Japanese mid-weight silk satin, and fine cotton lace. Hand-beaded, hand-sewn details make each design one-of-a-kind. Our curated collection balances timeless style with modern edge — because your dress should feel like you.

As a women-owned and social-impact brand, Grace + Ivory partners directly with our dressmakers, cutting out a layer of middlemen. All of our made-to-measure core collection gowns are under $3,500 and produced in 4-5 months, we recommend a general 6-9 month timeline with us although there are some rush options. A portion of every purchase supports programs that help women and girls in need.
We're know for our core collection of made-to-measure, thoughtfully designed wedding dresses. Also offered is full custom design (with pricing starting around $3,000+), aisle ready veils, custom veil design, overskirts, boleros, and other accessory options. There's a party dress line that can be ordered in standard sizing or made-to-measure. Beautiful custom mother of the bride/groom are also options.

- Tina WongFounder & CEOTina Wong is the Founder and Creative Director at Grace + Ivory, thoughtfully designed line of customizable, made-to-measure wedding dresses. After seven years working in foreign aid and business development for non-profits in DC, she took the leap to fulfill her passion for business done better and launched her social enterprise in 2017. Tina believes that social enterprise is the future of good business and is the way forward to address global development issues, so a portion of each dress purchased supports women’s programs around the world. Tina is a proud Chicago native (go Cubs!), dog lover, and Loyola Chicago alum who loves travel (she’s been to six continents!), hiking, wine, and finding ways to support other ambitious women in the Windy City.
