Sarah put in what seemed like endless hours to ensure that the transition was seamless, stress free, and beautiful. They knew our venue inside and out, and could get responses from them so quickly. I knew I could trust them with getting everything we needed. They even went above and beyond to try new types of signage for my wedding (all of which turned out beautiful!). The weekend of our wedding came and they were constantly on it! They were always behind the scenes from getting family/guest to where they needed to be, and making sure my husband and I were okay and had everything we needed from water to champagne. She really helped bring my vision to life and even elevated it beyond my wildest expectations. She helped us book our Dj and our Photographer, reviewed contracts, answered room block questions, and created all of our signage. I got compliments from guests about how it was the most seamless, organized wedding that they’ve ever been to. During the wedding if any guests needed anything I had no idea. They took care of it before I could even notice. They both saw my vision from day one and found ways to not only bring it to life but elevate it. I wanted a love letter seating chart and Sarah found the perfect way to tie in my colors, flowers, and make it come to life in the most beautiful of ways. Both Sarah and Erin were not only organized and on top of it but also felt like having two best friends in the planning process. They felt like they were just as excited as I was for our special day. I would get texts saying “It’s so soon, I’m so excited for you!” It felt like I had two cheerleaders the entire year and a half. to postpone our March wedding two weeks before the date. The venue then suffered a fire, so wedding #2 was also cancelled. Feeling defeated and low, I came across Sarah's website, and her letter to Covid Brides reeled me in. I reached out to her, to help us finally get married, not knowing what to expect. I didn't use a coordinator for the first wedding, but I'd heard great things about going that route. From the first phone call, I knew Sarah was the one who would make our wedding happen for us, it just clicked. At a time that was probably the lowest in terms of moving forward, Sarah got us excited and hopeful again! She is so incredibly kind, quick to answer any questions, and she always made us feel like #1. She is so masterful at this, I don't even know how I got along without her the first time! I cannot recommend her enough. We were all set with wedding #3, and three weeks before we needed to cancel in Riverside County due to an increase in Covid cases. We had only started planning this wedding with 6 weeks to go, and at first I was devastated. But Sarah being the wonder she is said "The bad news is that we can't do it at that venue anymore. The good news is that I am going to get you married on 11/9" And she did! With two weeks to go, we had the venue, the meals, the vendors all on board - everything. I still can't believe she made it happen, and it was beyond what I thought my dream wedding was. We had SO much fun, everything was absolutely beautiful, she helped direct the day seamlessly - she's amazing. I will always be so eternally grateful to Sarah and Grace and Gold Events for pulling this off. My mom absolutely adored her as well - she got to just sit back, relax and enjoy the wedding! She was amazing, punctual, always available to take our phone calls and texts (and there were plenty of them), and extremely knowledgeable. Our wedding was booked for Sept 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. Unfortunately we had to cancel our initial wedding which was one of the most stressful times because of the deposits we had paid and vendors not contacting us back and keeping our money. Sarah was there to guide us every step of the way. She has a whole network of people that she can reach out to when times are difficult and more information is needed. She helped us with all the details to cancel our larger wedding and switched gears to help us plan and envision a smaller micro wedding on the cliffs in San Diego (which turned out to be more than we could have asked for!). Honestly, I say this from the bottom of my heart, I have no idea what we would have done without her. The wedding was in Laguna Beach, CA, but during the year of planning we moved to Hawaii, bought our first home, and my husband and I started new jobs. Needless to say, Sarah was incredibly helpful during the whole process. I particularly liked that I was able to show her my pinterest board and then she picked out multiple vendors for each area of the wedding for me to look through. Everyone she recommended was really good! I also never felt any pressure to spend more money than I wanted, and Sarah always provided feedback when needed! our vendors - timelines, layout, communication, etc. This was an EXTREME help as we did not want to handle any communications leading up to our wedding date. Sarah is extremely timely in her correspondence, jumps to answer any questions, and will find the best deals (we had an issue with our forks!) for you to ensure your day is the greatest one. Her and her colleague Austin assisted day of - and it was the greatest experience. We had a few hiccups as many weddings do, but Sarah/Austin handled all of that on the sidelines so that we did not stress (and we didn't!). I would highly recommend Sarah and her team.

I cannot tell you how valuable it was to have someone with Sarah’s knowledge and experience with you the entire step of the way. It saved us so much headache and stress because as problems or ideas arose during the yearlong planning process, Sarah was right there with us to offer suggestions, solutions or give us a realistic take on what could or could not, be done. Everyone has the Pinterest vision in their head of how their wedding is going to turn out…but as I quickly found out, Pinterest is way harder than it looks. I would have these visions of what I thought would be amazing, and Sarah was right there to help me bring those visions to life, or to let me know that it might not work out exactly as I pictured in my head, which honestly is the most helpful part of having a wedding planner. Sarah was able to balance making what we wanted happen, but also giving us realistic expectations. She was also incredibly honest with us about things that just were not necessary, which saved us time and money. Our wedding was at a private estate, which means we had to bring in quite literally everything, from the tables and chairs, right down to even trashcans. This took A LOT of coordination and communication between Sarah, my husband and I, and our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Sarah also went with us to multiple sight visits to our venue, conferenced called vendors with us, and met with us multiple times to check in and make sure everything was going well. She was prompt with responding to questions and if problems arose, she usually already had a solution before we even knew there was a problem. Although I am confident Sarah would be a great “month of” planner, having Sarah with us the entire time as our full planner was INVALUABLE. She knew exactly what was going on, who was doing what, and it made the days leading up to the wedding go so much smoother because we never had to bring Sarah up to speed on anything, she already knew everything that we did. It also really helped pull everything together on our wedding day because by then she had been with us for over a year, and she knew what was important to us and how we wanted things to go. Our wedding was the most amazing day, everything went perfectly smoothly, or if it didn’t…Sarah handled it and I had no idea, which is the hallmark of a great wedding coordinator. Weddings are expensive, there is no doubt, but I would tell every couple planning a wedding to invest in a great wedding coordinator like Sarah, it truly makes a huge difference. It was one of the best things we did…Sarah truly is worth her weight in Grace and Gold.
