My husband and I got engaged in June 2022, and were looking to get married in March 2023. I was willing to do the work of planning most of our wedding, but I needed someone to help...
keep me accountable and offer guidance as needed (in addition to being our wedding coordinator for the day of). I had heard about Emily and Grace Forever Weddings through some friends and signed up for their partial planning services. With Emily specifically, I was able to iron out a lot of details (i.e. facilitating a potluck sign-up for our reception dinner between guests and our caterer, constructing a wedding day timeline, figuring out the processional/recessional with a somewhat unconventional ceremony layout, finding someone to alter my wedding dress, etc.). What's more is that she never made me feel like my requests (or my Google docs!) were too extreme. In addition to offering her expertise, she made sure to emphasize that this was our wedding, and that we should make decisions that best reflect us as a couple. My husband and I appreciated that so much!
On the day of our wedding, Emily and her team made sure that everything went smoothly. I got the impression that they were able to work and communicate well with our other vendors, even though they hadn't worked together previously (from what I can recall). The day itself went by so fast, but overall, it was better than I could have imagined. Even if there was a problem, my husband and I never knew -- and I think Emily and her team made it their business to make sure we didn't! The only thing that I can remember that didn't go according to plan was that my husband and I decided to leave about an hour earlier than indicated on our timeline; but Emily and her team were quick to go with the flow, helped us get ready for the send-off, and made sure our wedding gifts/belongings were sent to the right people after we had left.
Overall, my husband and I were really pleased with our experience with Grace Forever Weddings -- and we whole-heartedly recommend their services! :)
