so gained a friend in the end. Upon our first meeting, she made us feel totally comfortable and at ease. She has the gear and the skills, plus she truly cares about the couple she works with. Plus - she is great at communication every step of the way, so you are fully prepared for your big day. We had a low-light venue and it is hard to find a great photographer to shoot that type of space. This was no problem for Grace! And in terms of lighting - Grace has the technique to capture that beautiful lighting near faces, windows, etc....the type of lighting that takes your breath away. In terms of overall style - we love that the majority of our photos are not staged. This helps capture the day in true form and all of the special moments that happen. You will not be disappointed when you hire Grace. We cannot recommend her high enough!

Grace was the very first vendor that we booked for our wedding and it was by far the easiest decision we’ve made in the wedding planning process thus far. Not only is Grace incredibly talented at capturing authentic moments and emotion and has an amazing eye for light and artistic shots, she has the sweetest personality and truly goes above and beyond for her brides. She always carries eyelash glue, and has even used her fashion design background to sew a bride into her dress after her zipper broke! Friend, photographer, wedding savior...now you can see why we had to book her, and pronto! For our engagement photos, I wanted to shoot in so many locations that I I felt embarrassed asking photographers whether they would be willing to shoot in all those locations. Grace didn't make me feel weird or decline any of my ideas - instead, she was 10000% on board and even shot a portion of the shoot at noon (where I had reserved one location so that we could have it all to ourselves) and came back later to shoot the rest, ending late in the evening. I am sure no other photogarpher would have been willing to run around around all day, nonetheless doing it with such a cheery disposition! I've lost count of how many people have told me they loved the pictures and how they are the best engagement photos they have ever seen. I truly think I stumbled upon a gem when I found Grace and know she is going to make it really BIG- so do yourself a favor and book her now while you still can! I am so excited to have Grace shoot our wedding and it is so nice to have one less thing to worry about because I trust Grace completely and know we will have beautiful photos to cherish for a lifetime.

I wanted to enjoy my party! Grace "got it", and she didn't pressure us to do anything we didn't want to do but yet she still managed to capture an amazing array of "perfect" shots. She has a wonderful eye, and a great sense of style and presence. We recently received the pictures and LOVED them. Our guests also loved Grace. I've never been to a wedding where I noticed the photographer, and so the fact that my friends all adored her is quite noteworthy! She has a wonderful aura, gets along with everyone, and brings rare combination of professionalism, talent, and joy to the job. I wholeheartedly recommend her for your wedding, and would also ask her to photograph any other special occasion I host. She's awesome.

. Then comes Grace- how fitting with her name, as she truly was the light and grace at the end of a dark search tunnel. And thank heavens we didn't settle! Grace met with me, my now husband, and my parents and sister (and dog)... and was excited about it! When we left, she hugged my father, and instantly I knew this was someone special. Are her photos the best? Absolutely. But the part that makes it even more special is that SHE is special. Her photos are absolutely stunning, capturing the quiet beauty and love of the wedding day. Many can take a 'great' shot, but Grace's work is on a totally different level. She captures something that truly evokes emotion and I laugh and cry through our albums every time I look at them. How does she do it? Clearly artistically talented, but I think what makes Grace better than the rest is her genuine love and devotion to wedding photography. Just have a conversation with her and you will understand. She will not try to take advantage of you or change your style, she will take the time to get to know you and your partner, and will capture moments and things that are important to you and you didn't even have to tell her. Simply put, she gets people, and it shows in her photography. My family was so touched by her presence when they met her that they were constantly asking me throughout our engagement period "hows Grace? Gosh we just love her! I want to hang out with her!". We ended up having her and her partner Gavin join for the Rehearsal Lunch, too. For the photos, but honestly, because we just wanted them around, too! They are so sweet and funny, making us and our friends/family feel ENTIRELY comfortable, no gimmicky posing or cheesy stuff. Grace LOVES her work, and I'm so grateful we found her, she was such a special part of our entire engagement and wedding. Supportive, professional, easy going. p on the side of my page. From her very first email response to my enquiry, I knew she was going to be a perfect fit for our Wedding Day! Through the planning process leading up to the big day, Grace was super quick to reply to our emails, flexible and full of ideas and suggestions on how to make our wedding weekend perfect. My husband is a filmmaker and had some input on how he wanted our photos to look (lighting, composition, color, etc.) and Grace was able to sit and chat with him about his ideas and offer her input on how she could make that happen. See, we wanted someone to capture our day in a natural way – we didn’t want posed, forced and “say cheese” photos, we wanted Grace to capture the moments that as the bride and groom we might miss, we wanted tender and candid photos, photos that we could look back on and actually feel the emotion of the day by just glancing back through them years from now. Needless to say after expressing our wishes to Grace, we went in to our wedding weekend with complete confidence that Grace would do a phenomenal job. On our Wedding Day, Grace and her second cameraman Gavin were on time and ready to jump right in. They made me feel comfortable as if the photos weren’t even being taken. I felt at ease through the “getting ready phase” and the pre-ceremony photos. Our “first-look” between my husband and I was exactly how we wanted it, simple yet a private moment between the two of us, all while being captured by Grace and Gavin. Come time for the ceremony and reception – we were in “bride and groom” mode and the last thing we had to worry about was Grace. She and Gavin were everywhere at all times as if there were 10 of them grabbing every moment of the night – from moments between just us, or of our families, our guests, my five little flower girls, the craziness happening on the dance floor or my grandfather’s heartfelt speech – we felt like all of these moments were being caught on film for us to look back on some day. Sure enough – the photos did not disappoint; in fact, they overwhelmed me with emotion and happiness. We feel totally blessed and grateful that Grace (and Gavin) was a part of our Wedding Day – we will forever have our incredibly stunning photos to remind us of what a perfect day it was. It’s easy to see that Grace LOVES her job and takes pride in being able to capture one of the most important and special days a couple has together. There is no doubt that I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for a special event. I’m actually hoping that I can convince her to do maternity and baby photos when the time comes!
