From start to finish, my experience with Grace Loves Lace was pure perfection. I saw an ad for the dress I ended up buying on Instagram. It struck me as so different, unique, and s...
tunningly beautiful. I made an appointment (easy to do online and a few simple questions) When I went downtown to the store, I met Zaharia who was pure light and joy. She was so excited and genuinely happy for me. She served my mom, aunt, cousin, and I champagne with a rose inside 🥰then I started trying on gorgeous, delicate dresses. I truly loved them all, but ended up with the first dress I had seen that drew me to the store, the Nathalia. When I received my dress, packaging was delicate and swoon worthy! The dress was truly a work of art and I felt like a queen on my wedding day. My husband said I looked stunningly beautiful and our first look was truly a memorable! I loved my dress 🥰
Had a wonderful experience and selected my dream wedding dress! The NYC staff, including the consultant I was paired with, were so professional and authentic. Helped to stage every...
dress for my entourage and provided honest feedback when asked.
For-warning, Grace Love Lace has a certain youthful and non-traditional style, and you need to be willing to pay at least 2.5k or be flexible on your budget if you commit your heart to a dress here.
This was the first place I went to for wedding dress shopping. We were matched with Bridget who is one of their senior stylists. She did not disappoint! Bridget has a knack for mak...
ing the group feel at ease and has a great sense of humor and, of course, style. She pulled many gowns for me just based on my personality and body type alone and they truly were all in my taste. I came very close to saying yes to the dress on "The Chlo" which is a beautiful sexy silhouette with a pearl adorned veil. Would definitely recommend making an appointment if you are NYC based and are not looking to spend an absolute fortune on a wedding gown. And don't forget to ask for Bridget!
Not an inclusive place to shop. Manager in the NYC store made several uncomfortable comments. The actual sales assistant who helped me was lovely, but if that’s the leadership she’...

Like the other reviews on here, if I could give less than one star I would.
Worst customer experience I have ever had.
I tried dresses and shoes on in the NYC store. I later foll...
owed up with the store to ask what size shoe I should order to my home in San Francisco. I'm usually a 39 but the sales assistant told me I needed a 38. I followed her advice and bought a 38.
The shoes arrived and are WAY too small for me. For a week now I have been back and fourth with the company trying to get an exchange. I have to pay $60 for the exchange, even though I have already paid $60 delivery for the first pair.
They then asked for photos of the shoe soles which they are now saying may not pass the quality checks and will potentially charge me 50% of the shoe value as a damage fee. I have never worn these shoes - they don't fit - I literally tried them on and put them back in the box.
So now I am expected to pay the money, ship the shoes and may be left with no exchange and out of pocket by over $250. Daylight robbery and not work the stress.
If i could leave less than a star i would. The initial experience of going into the showroom was great. I got measured i fell in love with a dress and chose it. I tried on an extra...
small in the showroom which fit amazing. The stylist told me to order a small because the showroom samples are extremely stretched out. She also let me know there was a price increase coming at the end of the week so to order quickly. So i did. Fast forward 5 months and my dress showed up and it was huge. I had the seamstress look at it and she suggested i get a smaller size because there was too much to take in. I contacted Grace loves lace and they said i was not allowed to exchange it but i could pick a different dress to exchange it with. I want all the way back to the showroom and chose a different dress and let them know that i picked a different one. They then proceeded to let me know that i would owe $160 in shipping and almost $1000 for the new dress because of a recent price increase in the dresses. I told them i understand the dress was $300 more when i originally purchased my dress and i don’t mind paying that but i don’t feel that it is my responsibility to cover the increase amount as i was told to order the wrong size and i already had to make multiple drives to the showroom which is not close to where i live and i had to pick a new dress when i already had my heart set on the first one. They said that it is my fault that i didn’t measure myself and that the stylist was only making a suggest of what size to order but ultimately it was up to me to remeasure myself to make sure i was ordering correctly. This is ridiculous to me because what is the point of going into a showroom and having the stylist take full measurements and tell you what to order if #1 you’re not supposed to listen to them, and #2 they don’t measure you correctly. Meanwhile i have 4 months until my wedding and a dress that is way too big on me that the seamstress they recommended to me won’t work on because she said it’s too big. I would absolutely not ever order from them. And to add to all of this i have no heard of two acquaintances that have had very similar experiences with ordering from the San Diego showroom.
Had the best experience. I never thought I was going to find the one here. Indeed, had the most amazing experience with them. Thanks Micah for helping me make up my mind. I am so s...

Had an amazing experience for my friend's bridal shop. I 100% recommend Grace Loves Lace.
Grace Loves Lace in New York was fantastic! Great service, incredible selection, and my friend found her dream dress. Very impressed!

ection of dresses was so so comfy, and I found the perfect gown that met all my expectations. Thank you, Grace Loves Lace, for making my wedding dress shopping experience truly unforgettable!
One of the worst experiences I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. Their customer service team is far from graceful to say the least.
Grace Loves Lace made my bridal dress buying experience so easy and seamless. First, pretty much all of the dresses in the store are under $5,000 so very budget friendly! They ha...
ve veils, earrings, belts - all kinds of chic and stylish accessories to try on! None of the dresses are heavily beaded, have boning, zippers, padding, or much structure - so keep this in mind when going in. These are dresses meant for comfort. My dress did not have a zipper or even a single button. It was the most comfortable dress, but it did require some creativity when selecting underwear (I just went with breast tape).
You pre-select a few dresses that you are interested in and then start by donning a slip and getting measured and then your stylist brings out those dresses plus a few more suggestions. I went around and actually chose a few more (and ended up choosing a dress completely different from anything I pre-selected).
Once you choose your dress, it is not the standard - buy it big and alter it down. They make it for your size. It's as close to custom as you can get without being custom. For me, this means that once I took my updated measurements a few months out from my wedding and my dress was ordered, I didn't actually need alterations after delivery. Yes, you read that correctly - I DIDN'T NEED ALTERATIONS! - savings in the thousands.
As for the actual reviews - the space is incredible - super cute, spacious, clean and inviting. Very millennial - you have enough space and privacy and don't feel on top of anyone. It's really great. And the team is to die for. Everyone I worked with - in person and over the phone and email - was incredible. All of my questions were answered quickly and efficiently, and the entire process was seamless and easy!
I'd definitely recommend Grace loves Lace for a more easygoing and breezy bride who is looking for a dress without too much structure that is still going to flatter and flow!
DO NOT GO HERE GRACE LOVES LACE HAS RUINED MY WEDDING!!!!!
I bought a $2800 dress, $3600 including all the accessories to go with
it. I tried it on at their showroom and loved it...
! However, when I
received it, it was a COMPLETELY different dress from the original’s
style, color, quality of fabric used and size!
I feel like I tried on a beautiful version at the showroom, and then
got a knock off shipped to me! Reminds me of a Halloween costume, but
worse! They also were not helpful in resolving the situation! They
told me they would send me a new dress, then after they got my dress
back they said in order to get a new dress I would have to pay an
extra $500 dollars!
This company has no compassion! Weddings are so expensive.. and they
ruined my wedding dress and don't see, care, or even acknowledge the
dress is ruined.
Thank God for pictures! You will see for yourself! Please do not go
here! I'm so devastated and on top of that, I get married in 3 months
and have the added stress of trying to find another wedding dress.
Let me be clear… The $2800 dress I received was made from a cheaper
fabric, it was off-white in color, the style was changed, and it
didn’t even fit correctly. Just look at the photo and decide for
yourself.
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Jamie at Grace Loves Lace. Due to some very unforeseen circumstances, I was quite late to my appointment and she was incred...
ibly kind and patient with my mom and I. She was so understanding and put us at ease right away so we could still enjoy our visit. She took the time to ask questions about my wedding and listen to my likes, dislikes, and questions before pulling amazing dresses. She was great about asking questions about what I liked and disliked about each dress so she could learn my style as we went along and also showed me all the ways to personalize each dress with jewelry and accessories. I thought I knew which dress I wanted from my online browsing, but Jamie learned my style and pulled a dress I didn't even have on my list of dresses I wanted to try on. So glad she did because I loved it and ended up purchasing it! She made both of my visits to Grace Loves Lace an incredible experience. Thanks, Jamie!
My maid of honour bought me a pair of sade earrings for my wedding. I opened them on my wedding day and as I went to put them in my ear the gold hoop dented with the tiniest bit of...
pressure from my nail. For $300 and a promise that “you’ll be wearing the stunning Sade earrings long after your special day” I would have expected the hoops to not be hollow and definitely not to dent so easily. After taking to customer service they advised my friend that she was beyond the 7 day return/exchange policy and there was nothing they could do. Terrible quality, terrible customer service.
best dress I ever wore. Comfort & style is what Grace Loves Lace does best. I need more excuses to wear my wedding dress.
TL;DR - Not reliable, if you can, go to a different dress shop.
I bought my dress from Grace Loves Lace about 8 months before my wedding. They tell you you will receive your dress...
~8 weeks before your wedding date. Less than a month before my dress shipping date I message them to confirm the shipping date. They tell me they spoke with the production manager and everything is going well and my dress will be shipped on time. I plan to get my dress altered in the country where I will get married, I buy my flight after confirming ship date. 1 week before ship date they tell me because of “supply challenges” my dress has been delayed and I will receive it less than a month before I leave to my destination wedding. I still need to alter it somewhere else because they don’t do that for you.
I have to lose the flight and alteration appointment. They essentially tell me there is nothing they can do and receiving my dress that 100% needs alterations less than a month before my wedding is perfectly fine 💀
So, if you need a reliable brand that you know won’t come with last minute changes, stay away.
Went a few weeks ago and still puzzled by the unprofessionalism. I arrived with my mom 5-10 minutes early expecting to just sit and wait momentarily. Maggie opened the door and the...
first thing she said to me was “I’m eating my lunch” which is fine but not even a hello? I’m sorry to interrupt your lunch? You could just ask us to take a seat and you’ll be right with us but I tried to move past that. She wasn’t dressed appropriately in my opinion. I don’t normally notice this stuff but I literally almost saw a cheek and sandals in the winter? Idk it felt like a beach outfit in a upscale bridal salon. None of the dresses I tried on were clipped to fit me better. I’ve never been to a bridal place where they don’t clip big dresses on you? And none of them were in the correct color which is fine I guess but I’m not going to spend $2500+ on a dress by “using my imagination” which is what the woman kept saying to me. I was really disappointed by this experience. The dresses seemed cheap and everything I tried on was damaged. Beautiful space and if you’re able to use your imagination but I can’t do that when spending that much money.
I found Grace Loves Lace on the fly during my NYC wedding dress shopping and I am so thankful I did. They were so kind and knowledgeable at the store front and easily helped me fin...
d my perfect dress! It was even easier because they also sell jewelry and accessories so I was able to get everything in one place. Even on the back end they were flexible in letting me exchange my veil for additional jewelry and making sure my fit would be perfect! I didn’t have to make any alterations to the dress and it fit the day so well. The dresses are also very light weight and forgiving so great for transitioning from ceremony to dance floor. Would recommend to any future bride!!
I chose grace loves lace for my second dress of the night for my wedding and I could not have been happier. I was so comfortable and was able to dance the night away. I still felt ...
so beautiful and sexy as a bride in my dress too!!!! Sooo happy I purchased this dress for my second look :)
As my tailor said….GLL has great lace, but they cannot make dresses. No structure and there is no way to get the dress fixed once you receive it since it takes so long to get the d...
ress. Stay away! They sent me the wrong measurements back and forth in email several times. Each time I corrected them, an email or two later, the measurements were changed back to the wrong sizes again. Well now the dress comes in and it is way too short - can’t wear my heels, the straps had to be taken off because they put the wrong kind on which then lost the clips they had sewn into them for a GLL back necklace, so I couldn’t wear that either. Not worth it for how much money you are spending. Just don’t do it.
We took a girls trip to New York and went to the showroom to try on some dresses. The showroom experience was so much fun! Everyone was so sweet and all the gowns were gorgeous. I ...
went for the harri gown, but ended up choosing the Sol! It was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect fit for our vineyard/ mountain wedding. Also, most comfortable dress I have ever worn and the bustle was so easy to clip up and bring down for awesome train pictures all day/night!
I stumbled upon Grace Loves Lace a few years ago and fell in love with all of the dresses. As soon as I got engaged I knew this was going to be the first bridal salon to check out....
The showroom is absolutely gorgeous and all of the women are so welcoming and helpful. I was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I ended up trying on 5 dresses and choosing the very first dress I had tried on. The ordering process was extremely easy and I was able to get emails every step of the way during production. Three months later my dress arrived and couldn't have been more perfect. Since the dress was made to my specific measurements, it fit like a glove. I ended up taking the dress to my local tailor to add a bustle, but other than that no alternations were necessary. On my wedding day I felt beautiful, and most of all comfortable!! Thank you GLL for making the dress of my dreams! xoxo
I had such a great experience with Grace Loves Lace, and especially with my stylist Sheryl Q. I was really nervous about shopping for my dress, but I felt instantly comfortable at ...
GLL and with Sheryl. The showroom is beautiful, and has a really intimate feel. Every part of the experience down to the slip you wear for your measurements felt special and luxurious, and worlds apart from a regular shopping trip to the mall. They also limit the number of guests each person can bring, and only see a couple of brides at a time) which was a sharp contrast to some other stores I went to where it felt like I was trying on dresses for my group...and 10 other girls' friends and family.
Sheryl was an amazing stylist - she listened to what I wanted, but also made some recommendations that I wasn't originally planning to try on, but which ended up being gorgeous. She also went totally above and beyond to help me - I wanted to buy their Dosa heels, but they didn't have them in the showroom in my size. Sheryl happened to have the same size feet as me, and she made me another appointment to come in and try on HER heels so I could see if I liked them before ordering.
It goes without saying that all the dresses are gorgeous. As soon as I put it on, I knew it was the right dress, whereas dresses elsewhere were hard to really visualize as the floor sample is always 8 sizes too big or small and clipped/pinned in 20 different spots.
TL;DR - Grace Loves Lace (and Sheryl) were incredible - I found the perfect dress, and the whole experience was fun and approachable, while at the same time feeling super special.
Had a horrible experience with a stylist. She was rude and extremely unprofessional
I can't thank the Hayley and her team at Grace for all of their incredible support as I chose the dress of my dreams. I spotted the Dominique gown months before I even got engaged ...
and knew immediately that this was THE dress. Of course when my fiancé proposed I just had to make the trip to LA from Boston, MA to see the dress in person. Hayley assured me that even if the Dominque isn't for me, not to worry- there were plenty of other options to choose from. She made me feel at home when I walked through that beautiful wood door with rose tea and champagne. I ended up purchasing the Dominique and the Henry vail and it was every thing I ever dreamed of since I was a little girl. Customer service was incredible as well after I purchased Dominique, ensuring that the dress would be as beautiful as I imagined. Thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime and for making my dreams come true.
My dress fit like a dream. I visited the showroom in Venice and worked with Haley who was amazing. The lace is stretchy and soft and forms perfect to you body. I ordered the Cien i...
n all ivory. Everyone said my butt looked amazing and I loved the off the shoulder sleeves and caring patterns.
I was nervous that it wouldn’t fit because for some reason my measurements they took didn’t add up but I think it was because a four in heel doesn’t mean your four inches taller (idk why, just is what it is) so that was a slight hiccup but it turned out fine.
The showroom itself is wonderful and cozy. Try to get the dressing area in the back because it’s larger and intimate.
I’m obsessed with GLL and so glad I was able to find my gown. I can send photos or more info ashleyrose6743 at gmail dot com

as perfect, comfortable and wearing it was effortless. The 2.5 metre train was fabulous and my Henri veil brough the whole look together. It was both stunning and romantic.
The girls in the showroom did an amazing job helping me choose a gown to suit my figure and allowed me to try different styles to ensure I was happy with my choice.
They were on constant contact with me during the tailoring process, and answered any questions I had.
The dress arrived 8 weeks before my wedding giving me time to try it on again with my shoes and accessories. It arrived in a beautiful box with a little note inside which was a cute touch. I felt very special on my day. Thank you GLL. Xx

r dresses out their but also was given special care and attention in the making of the gown. I at some point discovered GLL and immediately visited their CA showroom after looking at their selection online and having a Skype call with Bec. Though I literally loved every dress, I settled on the Inca and felt no regrets about my choice. The store even allowed me to connect to the wi-fi so my bridesmaids could join in on the fun. GLL's craftsmanship and care that goes into your dress is truly unmatched. If you want a unique dress, with meticulously sourced lace, attention to detail, and good customer service go with Grace Loves Lace!

ely comfortable and easy to move in. I still find my self wanting to put my dress back on, and I think that is a really important thing to want in your dress. The whole process of selecting a dress with them made me very comfortable and Hayley really listened to my concerns and desires. She was such a delight to work with and she was even so helpful as to recommend an alterations place for cleaning my dress after the wedding. I cannot speak well enough of this store or their service and quality of their dresses.
