Getting married at Gracias Madre was hands down the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We considered many venues in the LA area and struggled to find a traditional venue that felt like “us.” When we realized we could get married at Gracias Madre, it all seemed to fit. As we hoped, the wedding felt truly unique and genuine to us, and we received so many comments from guests about that. The space is absolutely beautiful, well-designed for a full wedding (ceremony, reception, and dance floor), and created the atmosphere we were looking to have - joyful, fun, and basically a party with all the people we love. We were able to limit our decor and flowers substantially since the space has so many unique touches already. The food and cocktails were of course superb. Our guests (including many skeptics of plant-based food) were ecstatic to have among many other things, mezcal cocktails, chips and guac, enchiladas, and late night churros, instead of traditional wedding food. Lastly, the venue staff was amazing and ensured everything went smoothly day of, and having a full-service venue made our planning process substantially easier and limited our other expenses. The events manager (Lauren) went above and beyond to be accommodating and responsive throughout the process, responding to our emails with no delay, accommodating our numerous requests and ideas, and having us and our parents come for an extensive tasting dinner. We truly could not recommend getting married at Gracias Madre more!
We had our wedding at Gracias Madre, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The space is absolutely beautiful, especially the outdoor patio, which created the perfect setting for our reception dinner.
The service, food, and beverages were all outstanding. The menu is high-quality, organic, and plant-based, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were incredible and a huge hit with our guests.
It was one of the most beautiful days we’ve shared together as a couple, and the entire team played a big part in making it so special.
A special thank you to Lauren, the event manager, who was exceptional throughout the entire process. She was attentive, organized, and truly curated a seamless and memorable evening for us.
