I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chrissy and Justin from Graddy Photography. Extremely easy to work with (Christty responded to emails I swear within the hour...amazing), kind, friendly, and the pictures are UNBELIEVABLE. One of the bigger investments of our wedding but I would make this decision a hundred times again. The pictures don't just capture the moment but the emotion felt at that moment, and this makes the pictures so much more beautiful and heartfelt. They also felt more like friends than a vendor. They were phenomenal to work with and I highly recommend them!

Funny enough, I met Justin and Chrissy 5+ years back when I was a bridesmaid in my girlfriend's wedding. I knew from that moment on that I wanted Graddy Photography to capture my own wedding {someday}. Justin & Chrissy Graddy are absolutely THE BEST! I knew years before I was even engaged that I wanted them to take my wedding photos when I had seen their work. It rained on my wedding day, so I was pretty bummed in the morning - but Justin came and made the day perfect. He captured every moment! For photos my wedding party & I were under umbrellas or awnings and he was in the rain, sometimes even laying on the wet ground to get the best angle - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My husband and I worked with Graddy Photography for our September 26, 2015 wedding. BEST PICTURES EVER! I had previously had the pleasure of working with Justin and Chrissy for my senior pictures many years back and knew that I ABSOLUTELY HAD to use them again when I got married. They were the only vendor I was set on having and it was for good reason. They were the first vendor we booked even though we didn't have a venue yet, we just couldn't risk not having them capture our day. I would have planned my whole wedding around them if I had to- Justin is that incredible. Simply put they are an amazing team and their work is incredible. Justin is an exceptional and talented photographer. We were really looking for a photo journalistic style to capture those natural, organic and often quiet moments at events. Justin did just that. The images are breathtaking. We also appreciated Justin's ability to get big family photos quickly. It made the day move so smoothly. My wedding photography experience with Chrissy and Justin of Graddy Photography was outstanding from start to finish. Chrissy was exceptionally prompt, friendly, professional, and detailed in her wedding day preparation emails to me. When I met Justin on my wedding day, he was also friendly, professional, and immediately put my husband and me at ease. My friends refer to Justin as the "stealth ninja photographer" because most of the time you couldn't see him on the wedding day, but he somehow managed to snap perfectly timed pictures from just the right angles. Our photos turned out beautifully and my husband and I couldn't be happier. The photos truly capture the joy and happiness of our wedding day. Getting our photos taken never seemed awkward, forced, or intrusive; on the contrary, the experience was fun, natural, and spontaneous. Justin was very efficient in his work. He had a good balance between directing us in positions, poses etc, but also let us be ourselves. At times, we forgot he was there. We are impressed and would recommend him to anyone who can afford it. We know the price we paid was on the higher end, but worth it and in years to come, it will be priceless!

My husband and I booked with Justin & Chrissy just 2 months after we got engaged. We met with Justin and he made us feel laid back and as though we were long friends! Our engagement photos were amazing-we still get tons of compliments from family & friends. We got married in July, and of course like every other weekend it did rain...the one thing that really made me nervous! Justin was laid back and reassured us that there was a lot of great photos and that we would have plenty! My only regret is not taking a few more once the sun came out on our patio area of the reception-mainly because we were just more laid back at that time :) Overall, we received our photos and they were as Justin said, a lot of great photos! He braved negative 30 degree weather to do outside engagement pictures and 90 degrees for the wedding ~ and all the pictures turned out amazing! When planning one of the most important days of my life I found it so very important to pick a photographer that would not only enhance the experience, but truly understand how important it would be to create timeless photos that we could treasure for the rest of our lives. Needless to say Graddy has gone above and beyond this! Justin somehow made us unbelievable comfortable it was like being photographed by a friend and his work is astounding. Chrissy has also been amazing, in a world of constant movement and deadlines she made the planning process so very easy! We never really worked in person, but Chrissy helped me with picking a package, creating a timeline for the day, and choosing a videographer. We could not be happier with our decision to work with Graddy Photography for our wedding (May 2014). When we started looking around online for photographers, we came across Justin’s work and immediately knew he was who we wanted to photograph our wedding. We were fortunate that he still had availability for a date that aligned with our venue. Chrissy was fantastic at answering all of our questions, always very quick to reply, and provided us with valuable insight into the timings of the day itself (we did not have a wedding coordinator to advise us of this). The engagement photos gave us an opportunity to meet Justin and get used to being photographed. He was very easy-going, yet professional, and made us feel instantly comfortable. Photos were the most important thing to me and I had confidence in Justin's abilities based on past photos, and he did not disappoint. On the day of, he captured everything we could have hoped for and more, and are thrilled with our photos! Our family was truly amazed at the beautiful wedding photos from my daughter’s wedding last month! All of our relatives said they had never seen any pictures that beautiful. They didn’t just look like pictures, they look like art. Many people said “these pictures should be in a magazine”. Not only were the pictures gorgeous, but Justin and Chrissy are great to work with. Chrissy answers all correspondence extremely quickly, even when they are on vacation! Justin was able to line up the wedding party very quickly and efficiently to get amazing shots in a short period of time, so the guests wouldn’t have to wait too long at cocktail hour before they arrived. I already knew Justin was an extremely talented photographer, but the thing that surprised me the most was that he was almost invisible while he took all these pictures! I didn’t even see him at all during the wedding ceremony. I had a momentary minute of panic, but I had seen him right before the ceremony – so I was guessing he must be there somewhere! He never interrupted the flow of the wedding or the reception by getting in the way or trying to setup pictures during important moments, like I have seen many other photographers do. At one point he was perched on his toes on the edge of a very tall stadium wall to get pictures of wedding party in the stands at the stadium, so he will go pretty far to get a great picture! All of their pricing was very clear and we got our pictures back more quickly than we expected! They also have the preview pictures posted very quickly, which is great because the waiting was the hardest part! When my Mom saw the pictures she was so excited she said “he was worth every penny we paid him”, even though she hadn’t paid him at all! Our whole family was extremely happy with the wedding pictures and we will enjoy these pictures the rest of our lives! We would be happy to recommend them to anyone!

The very first thing we booked after getting engaged was our photographer - Graddy. I knew right away that was who I wanted. I had seen their work before and just fell in love with their talent and vision. From the first interaction, to wrapping everything up at the end, their kindness, confidence, talent, and easy-going attitude were more than we could've asked for from a photographer. On our wedding day, Justin worked quickly, but we were never rushed. He captured moments that I didn't even realize were happening at the time. We were very fortunate to sign on with Graddy Photography to do our Engagement and wedding pictures. Justin was very professional and found amazing backdrops for all our photos. We were extremely happy with him choosing Northfield as our location for our engagement pictures. We would not have considered that location for we were looking at more downtown Minneapolis or Minnehaha falls. His comment was "You see those backdrops all the time". From the start Graddy Photography was responsive and helpful in answering all my questions. We felt lucky to get them booked since we were planning with a shorter lead time. On the day of the wedding, Justin worked quickly and got many amazing shots. Within 48 hours after the wedding we already had a sneak peek. I couldn't believe how beautiful the photos were and how quickly we got to view them. Our full gallery of photos was available soon after and our album was turned around quickly as well. Since my husband and I dated for more than 7 years and were engaged for another 13 months, we had plenty of time to thoroughly research our choice of photographer! While diligently comparing all of the prominent photographers in the Minneapolis area, Graddy Photography kept rising to the top. We were thrilled when we booked them and our excitement continued to increase as we followed their amazing work throughout our engagement year. Chrissy Graddy went above and beyond our expectations with her prompt and detailed responses. She helped us customize a photography package to fit our wedding day schedule of events. We are SO very glad we ultimately decided to book two photographers/shooters from Graddy (both Justin and Chrissy took photos). Not only was it awesome to have two angles and two cameras shooting at all times, but Chrissy felt like a long-time friend, stepping up to the plate helping with logistics, on-the-fly decision making and answering various wedding-day questions. I loved Graddy Photography! Justin did an amazing job and I'm so excited about our pictures! They are gorgeous! He was patient and fun with my lively bridal party and extremely professional when I stained my dress purple (AHHH!). He was so kind and let us take some pictures of the bridesmaids by themselves so I felt like something was being accomplished while I was busy trying not to hyperventilate about my dress! All my guests was talking about how professional he was and how we hardly knew he was there - he wasn't intrusive or in anybody's way ever, yet he managed to get shots of everything important it seems! We were absolutely blown away by the stunning photos Justin got of our wedding: everything from the 'getting ready' photos to random special moments throughout the day were amazing. The ceremony. I have received so many emails and phone calls from people I haven't spoken to in a long time just to say how wonderful the photos are. I can't think of enough good things to say about the skill that Justin has and about how relaxed he made the entire day feel. As two people who were extremely nervous on the day of, that calming effect was especially appreciated by both Travis and myself. Chrissy was fabulous as well - she was so detail-oriented and quick to respond to any question either of us could have asked of her. She had a great plan and worked seamlessly with my wedding planner and myself. She always made us feel as though answering questions about our pictures on our wedding day were the most important thing she was doing, even though I'm sure she had 100 other similar emails from other brides to answer in the same afternoon. She was great to work with. I would recommend Graddy Photography to anyone looking to get truly outstanding photos for their special day and anyone who wants to work with two truly talented professionals.

Bottom line- Justin and Chrissy are wonderful to work with and the photos are unbelievable. Rants&Raves- The wedding photos are more beautiful than our memories of our perfect day. Justin turned the annoying rain into breathtaking photos that are unique, tasteful and artistic. We have gotten so many genuine complements on our photos it is almost embarrassing. Both Chrissy and Justin are great to work with. They are wonderful in letting you know what information is needed when and keeping you on track throughout the whole planning process.

We looked at tons of photography portfolios before we found Graddy. Absolutely no one was even close to comparing to their talent. They were a blast to shoot with as well. They are very calming and can give a lot of direction which was super helpful for my husband and I as we didn't know how to pose. We upgraded to using 2 photographers and got Justin's wife as well. She is such a sweetheart and takes wonderful pictures as well. Their communication was always super fast and helpful. We LOVE our pictures. Some of the comments we keep hearing from family, friends and coworkers is how our photos "look like they could be in a magazine" and how they are "the best wedding photos" they've ever seen. Graddy truly is the best wedding photography in Minnesota and they deserve all the awards they win!!!

Words can't describe how awesome Graddy is. Their photography is truly art, you'd be crazy not to choose this photographer to document the most important day of your life. Justin is amazing, he works so fast and knows exactly what to do and it looks amazing. We felt so comfortable with him and my entire wedding party loved working with him. He captures moments that I truly will treasure forever. His wife Chrissy is the glue that holds their business together, she's amazing! Great communicator, very knowledgable and so fun to work with. I can truly say that she was one of the main reasons we chose Graddy. On our wedding day, I was truly grateful for Justin. He was calm, organized and kept us on schedule. Graddy is hands down the best, no questions. I suggest spending a little more on a photographer to capture the moments you want to remember for years to come.

I liked our pictures, but there are some things that could be improved. After seeing the pictures, I realized I didn't have a formal picture with just my mom. I also wish more of the details were captured that I had spent so much time deciding on or making (i.e. invitation, purse, gift table card holder, guest book, don't drink and drive sign at the bar), and that things and people could have been aligned better (i.e. jewelry, people in the formal pictures). We also had extra time during the day, which we would have been open to suggestions for more pictures in other locations.

My husband and I cannot express enough how much we love our wedding photos! I met Justin almost 2 years ago while I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. Before I was even engaged I knew that I wanted to have Justin take my wedding photographs. I'm never the one to feel at ease in front of the camera and neither is my husband. Justin and Chris made us both feel so comfortable and natural with each other. The pictures he took show all of our real emotions. The day of my wedding I felt like I was just hanging out with my husband and my closest friends. One of the biggest things that struck me was how Justin and Chris got the most beautiful pictures and we hardly remember seeing them that night after the formal pictures. They were so professional; and at the same time we honestly felt like we knew them for a long time. We have gotten so many compliments on our pictures and can't stop looking at them! If you want professionalism and the most beautiful pictures, you won't go anywhere else!

Justin and Chrissy have been a wonderful part of our wedding. They are so helpful and easy to work with. Chrissy helped me with the timeline and other details I hadn't thought of that made the wedding day go so smoothly. Justin is incredibly professional, relaxed, and very talented. My husband and I felt natural the whole time, which is saying something because he hates pictures! I am so glad we spent the extra money on the photographer because the day of went so smoothly and the final product is incredible! I've been to a wedding where the photographer provided no direction and everyone felt confused and stressed. I've been to other weddings where the photographer spends 15 minutes organized and placing each person in the exact position where they are supposed to stand to capture two pictures, which is such an awkward and forced experience. I've been to other weddings where a beginning photographer misses significant moments and photo opportunities because they didn't realize it was important. Justin captures the important, subtle, and unforgettable moments of life.

We were fortunate enough to be able to work with Justin and Chrissy on for our May 2013 wedding and could not have been happier! Photography was really important to my husband and me, so after doing extensive research, Graddy was the first vendor we booked a year-and-a-half before our wedding. Anytime after that we had any questions, a response was received the same day an email was sent. Chrissy did a great job of staying in touch with us and reaching out to see if we needed anything, as well. Working with Justin for our engagement pictures was just a preview of how smoothly our wedding day would go. He was so professional and fun and knew exactly what he was doing. And when my husband and I looked at our gallery all we kept saying was "Wow, wow, WOW!" We are absolutely thrilled with each and every image and special moment Justin was able to capture. We are so thankful that we were able to work with Graddy; Justin and Chrissy are both amazing at what they do! It was so wonderful to be able to enjoy our day and not to worry for a second wondering if we were getting good shots. We knew we were in good hands!

Tyler and I were amazed with the outstanding photos Justin captured throughout our wedding day! Photos last a lifetime, so in our opinion choosing the right photographer to capture all of the special moments throughout the day was critical. Justin did this beautifully! He brought out the best of the day - from the emotion to the details of the decor - the end product was truly magical!
