Holds ceremonies and receptions
We had our wedding reception in July 2022 at The Mountaineering Club in the Graduate Seattle and it was the smoothest part of our big day!
The staff were helpful from the very beginning of the process, working closely with us to figure out various options that would make the day truly special and personal to us, and answering all our questions promptly. It was really nice to deal with just one place since they provided almost everything for the reception, including good food, music, and wonderful cocktails. There was enough seating for our ~70 guests, with options for both sun and some shade in the outdoor spaces.
The day-of staff were also wonderful, checking in on us to keep us updated or ask a few questions discretely to keep everything going according to plan. They coordinated with the recommended decorator and the cake delivery on the day so that was all seamless.
The lobby is gorgeous for pictures so we had both First Look pictures before the ceremony and marriage license signing pictures there after the ceremony. Taking the special elevator up to the Mountaineering Club also made our guests feel extra special, and we loved the renting out the whole space meant that we could include our friends with kids.
Of course, the views are simply amazing from The Mountaineering Club, almost 360 degrees! Looking back on our wedding day after a few weeks have passed, we are really happy that we chose the Graduate Seattle for our reception!
My wedding reception was in the Hotel Deca ballroom and it was an amazing night. Everything was perfect, the staff was so flexible and supportive. Jess, our event coordinator, was great at keeping our multiple requests in line especially since I was planning the wedding from out of town. The space seems unassuming by day but in the evening, it looked extremely classy and set the mood.

You and 225 of your beloved friends and family can watch you walk down the aisle or enjoy your first dance with classic decor, high mirrors, and glistening lighting. In addition, the hotel has valet parking and 154 guest rooms to accommodate you and your traveling guests.
The Graduate Seattle looks forward to adding to your wedding day with all-inclusive packages. Led by passionate manager Gabrielle Sweet, these venues will be set up to your satisfaction. The hotel will be delighted to provide you and your partner with professional bar and catering services throughout each wedding activity. Their catering services include buffets, family styles, and chef stations, which are plated or served by staff. Their bar services include experienced bartenders with an open or cash bar for your champagne toast.
