Behind The Bakes
Destiny, the founder of the company, creates thoughtfully designed cookies and specialty cakes that stand out during any celebration. In November 2025, Destiny changed the name of the business to Gram's Legacy Whisk as an ode to her grandma, who played a big part in her journey. Now she crafts delicious and fully personalized treats to suit every taste.

From romantic vintage cake designs with intricate piping and nostalgic details to modern, elegant, and unique creations, Destiny can bring your vision to life. She offers a range of flavors from the classic vanilla, chocolate, and funfetti to strawberry, almond, and Biscoff. An array of fillings like chocolate ganache, cookie butter, and lemon curd can be added to make your own unique creation. With your bespoke cake as the centerpiece, you can also add some of their cupcakes and intricate sugar cookies to fill up the dessert table. Hi! I’m thrilled to share my passion for baking and artistry with you. I'm originally from Massachusetts, I moved to Charlotte in 2016 and have loved every moment of my journey here. My love for baking began in my teenage years when I would rush home from school to whip up something sweet in the kitchen with my grandmother.
Growing up, I was inspired by my mother and grandmother, both had a remarkable talent for drawing and baking. Their creativity ignited my own passion for creating art, which I now express through my baked goods. Every custom cake, cupcake, and custom cookie I craft is a blend of artistic vision and love.
In July of 2023, I fulfilled a long-held dream by opening Gram's Legacy Whisk, where I pour my heart into every creation. When I’m not in the kitchen, I enjoy spending time reading and being in nature.
