About this vendor
If "Everybody out on the dance floor" is at the top of your list, book Grand Avenue Band ASAP!
Grand Avenue Band is an amazing Cleveland-based live band and is in the Hall of Fame of Best of Weddings on The Knot. Our high-energy performance will keep you and your guests dancing, singing and going wild all night long. We are owned & managed by a former event planner and feature rockstars with decades of experience - while still playing some of the newest songs out there. And our songs actually sound like the original recordings, both in style and in how well they’re performed.
We promise to ensure that every detail you have put your time, money and heart into coordinating will shine at your event. Our experienced Master of Ceremonies (MC) is obsessed with seeing that your event runs even more magically than you dreamed it could. She'll see to it that your guests know how to find your food truck, are ready for your sparkler exit and are in the room when Grandpa joins the band to sing a polka. Your night is literally the party of a lifetime and we’re serious about making it so. (Also, we want your guests to have as great a time as you do!)
Humble brag - You've never heard voices like we have in this band, individually and together. Singers whose voices according to a guest “can melt the wallpaper off the wall.” Instrumentalists who shine with their musical abilities and will wow the toughest critics around. Even our smallest booking package includes a brass section to elevate your party from basic bar band to full blown party mode. We truly have unparalleled versatility in song selection (we guarantee at least one guest’ll say to you “This band plays EVERYTHING!”). You might get tired of people saying “Your wedding was the best party ever!” for the rest of your lives, but we think you’ll always love it.
Our large song list consists of something for everybody at your event including the hottest new songs, Top 40, Pop, Jazz Standards, Motown, Hip-Hop, Disco, Rock, and more. We also perform some traditional Jewish, Italian, Irish and Polka music perfect for multi-cultural events with a diverse guest list. We are always updating our list with current songs so check back often to see what we’re rehearsing!
While GRAND AVENUE has played all over, most of our favorite venues to play are right in and around the Rock & Roll Capital. We aren’t a band that hires subs to play multiple gigs in one night. When you book GAB, you get THE GRAND AVENUE BAND. We are proud to be from the Cleveland area, proud to be a woman-owned business and proud to be part of the most memorable night in the lives of people who choose us.
GRAND AVENUE BAND believes in Love - that none of us have much time on the planet and we must take the time to celebrate the people we love and celebrate WITH the people we love. We will always be honored to be part of your special day and to help you create memories that last forever.

Natalie and the band were a dream to work with. She made sure any and all of our questions were answered and was a key part in our reception running smoothly. They honestly took ca...
re of everything and worked with our coordinator to make it SO easy to sit back and relax and enjoy our reception. I have gotten so many compliments from our guests regarding how great the band sounded and how fun they were. There was not one minute that the dance floor wasn't packed, Natalie and the band knew exactly what to play to keep the energy up and that is exactly what we wanted. We highly, highly recommend Grand Avenue Band and are so happy we booked them!
Dynamite. Everyone danced the whole night and was floored by how awesome they were. They even learned a song for the mother and bridegroom dance. Natalie was a great MC for the eve...
nt. They made the evening. Best wedding band I ever heard.
The Grand Avenue Band played at our wedding in September 2018 and they were amazing! When we were initially looking for a band, we were looking for one that could play music across...
several genres and decades, were professional, and most importantly, bring the energy to our party. They went above and beyond our high expectations and our guests never left the dance floor! Months later, our friends and family still comment on how incredible the band was at our wedding reception. In the months leading up to the wedding and on the day of, Natalie and the other members of the band were amazing to work with! Highly, highly, highly recommend!
Grand Avenue Band was everything we dreamed of for our wedding and more! The planning process was so easy and they were always available to answer questions and help along the way....
Our night was absolutely perfect... the dance floor was packed, packed, packed all night long... which is exactly what we wanted! We received so many compliments from our guests. A HUGE thank you to Grand Avenue- you are AWESOME!!
Dance floor was packed all night, they were absolutely incredible! Honored to have them at our wedding.
We had the band at our wedding and they were great! We had the best time! Highly recommend them
This band made our wedding day SO special. The band kept everyone dancing all night and created an environment for people to let loose who I have never even seen dance before :) I...
can't imagine a better choice and I recommend them to anyone looking to have a really fun (but still super classy) wedding....literally everyone told me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. No one wanted to leave! Thanks GAB for making our night the best ever!!!
I attended my friend's wedding and was thoroughly impressed with the Grand Avenue Band. Both of the singers were so talented and fun! It was really great to see how much they clear...
ly love their job. I have seen a few other wedding bands and this one was by far the best. A lot of wedding bands are really cheesy, but not this one. They play super new music, so you feel like you have a DJ there from that perspective... but with the benefits of interacting with a live band. Highly recommend them. AWESOME! I wish I had a wedding coming up that I could book them for lol :-)
Getting a live band for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! The dance floor was full all night long and everyone loved them!
Of all the decisions we had to make for our wedding, the one that we were most concerned about was getting the music right. And the Grand Avenue Band was absolutely the best choice...
. They played a great mix of music and had so much energy. Our dance floor was full from the first song through the song that was playing as they began packing up the equipment at the end of the night! In addition, they were very helpful answering our questions and making sure they had everything they need for a perfect performance. I have already recommended GAB to a friend who will be getting married next year and I can't wait to see them perform again!
Our wedding was at an outdoor venue and Grand Avenue Band made it work! They also did an amazing job and I received a lot of compliments throughout the night at what a great job th...

Grand Avenue Band was phenomenal!!!! We selected them after seeing them play 4 years ago at a friends' wedding. They had everyone out on the dance floor from the minute the party s...
tarted until the last moment of the night. They can read the crowd and know how to keep things moving and people happy. Our dance floor was literally shaking with so many people dancing around! It was nice to have such a professional group in charge of the night. I trusted them to do a great job and I was NOT disappointed. Already I have had multiple requests from friends and family for their info. Your guests who "don't like live bands" will walk away asking for their number. It was the best party I have every been to, thanks to the band. In my opinion there is no better band and no better entertainment for your wedding than GAB!!
We chose the Grand Avenue band, never having heard them. We live in Michigan and the first two bands that we wanted were booked already, the one band recommended the Grand Avenue ...
Band from Cleveland. So we went on that recommendation. The Grand Avenue Band made the wedding. Every single one of our guests commented either as they were leaving or in the following days that that was the best wedding they had ever been to. The dance floor was full the entire night. My parents usually complain about the music being too loud at these events, not only was that not the case, but they were up dancing the entire night. The music appealed to all age groups, they are extremely talented, very professional and I loved every song. The bride and grooms song was John Legends "All of Me", they did such a beautiful job with that song. All of our friends and family took the bands card for future use. I have two other daughters and would definitely use them again. I highly recommend them!!!!
I can't say enough good things about this band! We were a little skeptical, thinking they'd just be your typical, cheesy wedding singers but they NAILED IT! We've gotten so many co...
mpliments on the music and they kept everyone on the floor all night long! They're extremely organized and easy to work with. They MCed the event and met every request we made of them. Everything went very smoothly! We had even given them a few songs (for our first dances, etc) that weren't on their song list and they were able to play them with ease. There weren't any awkward pauses or faulty speakers- things were seamless all night. Their sound guy continually walked around the room to make sure the volume was right (not too loud, not too soft!) and the band themselves were so entertaining to watch. They would play CDs/MP3s during their breaks and we had guests begging them to get back on stage (which I'm sure was annoying but shows how fun they were! haha). Highly recommend!
Our best wedding planning decision was hiring Grand Avenue Band! They are so professional, organized and most importantly...SO GOOD! They truly made our reception a success and t...
hey know how to keep the party alive :) We received so many compliments on the band from our guests as well! People danced all night!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I absolutely love the Grand Avenue Band! My daughter and I found them online when planning for her wedding and got SO excited to find a band that played the classic songs and also ...
had the newest hits. They were such a great choice. They got people dancing that I have never seen dance before. They really made my daughters wedding a night to remember and I just can't recommend them highly enough! If you want to have a fun classy wedding, book this band!!!! You won't regret it, trust me!
I hired Grand Avenue Band for my wedding in June last year and was so impressed with their performance. I booked them without seeing them in person and was a little bit nervous, bu...
t there was NO reason to be! They were excellent and went above and beyond for us all night. They kept the crowd engaged and on the dance floor all night long. Everyone was talking about them for weeks after the wedding. Grand Avenue Band really made our night special and we would recommend them to anyone that wants a night to remember, where your guests will not want to leave. Also, I loved their song list -- it was cool to be able to have a live band but also have all the newest hits we love. We didn't have to compromise on either which was great. Thanks again Grand Avenue Band! We love you guys and are recommending you to anyone we know that is getting married!

y, the lead singer has a great voice and stage presence. She was the MC and kept her ann comments upbeat and fun. The band somehow know exactly what music to play at different times and were able to gauge the mood of the crowd correctly. I would recommend them to anyone planning a reception or large party...if you want your guests to have a fun filled evening of dance and music.
We used this band for an event celebrating 75 years of being in business and they were AMAZING, they kept people on the dance floor and never let the energy go!
This band was awesome!!! They helped create a fun and memorable party! I would absolutely not hesitate to use them again! Highly recommend!

ully. People at the event remind me about how much fun they had dancing. I primarily remember that they kept the party moving, but didn't upstage me! I highly recommend the Grand Ave. band.
I have been to 2 weddings & 2 other type parties where Grand Avenue Band played. They rocked the house at all functions. They have many wonderful singers ( I especially liked Rob...

I truly believe the band and dj make the wedding. You can do everything right but if you don't have someone to entertain the crowd, everyone will leave by 9 p.m. Grand Avenue Band ...
was phenomenal! They play music that is currently on the radio that people can sing and dance too. My dance floor was NEVER empty. Grand Avenue Band had people stomping on the dance floor to the very last dance. I recommend them to anyone looking to have a party!

Grand Avenue was outstanding at our wedding. The guests had a wonderful time. The band sounded great and could play a wide variety of songs. People were dancng all night! They ...
did an excellent job emceeing that event as well.
Unforunately, only one of the female singers could make it the our event when we were expecting two. Another minor point -- double check where the band coordinator says they will be playing when you check them out. The coordinator told us the wrong place and we ended up going out of our way for nothing. I am still so glad we booked them, though!
I had so many people dancing at my wedding, they even got people up on stage! Everyone absolutely loved them and they work with you on every detail to make it unforgettable.
We used them for our wedding a few years ago and they were great. we just attended another wedding where they played and they were still great. Actually they were amazing!

Update 10/2012..........................
I just recently attended a friend's wedding where Grand Avenue Band performed. They were still awesome!!!
Their song list is very up-to-date and they played lots of the new songs, but still managed to play a great variety of older songs. Kudos to continued awesomness!
The Grand Avenue Band is wonderful! They played a wide range of music and got our guests out on the dance floor. Our only complaint was that, despite having our song on their pla...
y list, they told us that they could not play it so we had to select a different song for our first dance. Overall, very satisfied with their performance.
Wow! The Grand Avenue Band is worth every penny! You know when you plan a wedding that everybody has different tastes in style, and not everyone is going to love what you choose. B...
ut if a wedding is fun, you can't deny that! The Grand Avenue Band had everyone on the dance floor all night long! All age groups danced the night away. They have such a fabulous stage presence, and great talent! I was very pleased! Where my venue failed me, Mary (one of the lead singers) really helped out. She made sure all of my dances and scheduled events went off without a hitch! We did an extensive amount of investigating and research before we chose our band, and I am so glad that we went with GA!! I had many compliments, and many people have asked me about them since our wedding!

ing on the dance floor, they helped MC the entire night -- THEY SIMPLY ROCKED the house. The music included everyone - they knew exactly what to play and the timing to play it.... we hired them for as long as we could keep them. I believe it was 1AM and our wedding guests began chanting "one more song" over and over!!! We had an absolute blast with everyone in the band, loved them! BOOK THEM ASAP - they book up fast!We are still receiving compliments on how wonderful they were that night. And to top it off -- they are a classy group. This is not your typical band!

Thank you for making this the best night of my life. Guests still ask me about "my band" and I am sure I will see you at plenty of my friend's weddings
