We started working with Haley the summer of 2020 when we had to change our wedding venue after we were not able to have our wedding as planned. The Grand Bohemian had not even open...
ed yet in Charlotte and we were only able to see a portion of the hotel as construction was finishing. Haley was an absolute pleasure to meet and was so easy to work with to book our rescheduled wedding date. When it seemed COVID would still be an issue for our wedding, Haley was so understanding and willing to work with us to reschedule our wedding for a third time. Throughout the planning process, Haley was quick at responding to my emails and amazing to work with as we navigated the uncertainties of planning a wedding during COVID. A few months before our wedding, we started working with Sydney and Celeste who were also great to work with. We met with the team several times to do our tasting, show our parents the venue, and meet with our day-of coordinator. They were very flexible to meet with us and meet our schedules. The weekend of the wedding they were also present to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. Haley/Sydney/Celeste were absolutely amazing to work with and truly made our day the most amazing day ever.
In terms of the space, it was absolutely perfect. Since most of our guests were traveling from out of town, it was so convenient to have our wedding where most of our guests could stay and travel to from the airport. The rooms were beautiful and my suite was perfect to get ready in with my mothers and bridesmaids. The rooftop terrace is where we did a majority of our photos and having the city skyline and the murals made for beautiful photos. The ceremony was also on the rooftop terrace which was breathtaking. The tent was also great for keeping out the sun and wind the day of. Our guests only had to travel to another floor for the cocktail hour and reception which was very easy. The space was also gorgeous with artwork all around for our guests to look at and required minimal additional decor from us. The ballroom is also extremely elegant which made it very easy on us as we only really needed to bring centerpieces to complete the look. The chandeliers are stunning; we had different color lighting for our dinner and dancing; the room was very spacious for our guests but also did not look bare; the dance floor was in a perfect spot, and the staff set up the tables to look great. The food was also fantastic. The cake was made by the pastry chef and we gave a few ideas of what we were looking for and it looked absolutely stunning. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better day or team to work with.
We LOVED having our wedding at the Grand Bohemian! Jeannie and Danielle were an absolute dream to work with. We ended up here due to our original venue closing (COVID) and we are s...
o thankful we did. The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the service is beyond compare. I would highly recommend using the Grand Bohemian for any event!
Every single guest said it’s the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding!
This hotel went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. We definitely got more than what we paid for. The service was excellent! The venue was just gorgeous. If I could do it...
all over, I would pick this venue every time!
We were blown away by this hotel. Everything from the amazing decor to the beyond friendly and helpful staff, this place is what dreams are made of! There has to be something that ...
goes wrong with a wedding, and as a bride I readied myself..... But everything went off without a hitch. The entire night was perfect! (Their recommended vendors are perfectionist professionals) Ashli is an AWESOME catering/event manager. She answered every single question quickly and made us feel so at ease with everything.. Not an easy task when planning a wedding. The ceremony site / pool is gorgeous, the food is to die for, and everyone was so helpful. The 15th floor concierge level was an amazing place for the out of town family get together. We were able to have catering there and drinks! There are so many unique places to take photos all around the hotel and downtown Orlando. We had 90% of our wedding guests travel from all over the United States and I was proud for them to be at such an amazing hotel, Seriously! The food is five star and they made accommodations for every dietary restriction! Thanks to Ashli and the entire Grand Bo family for making our day amazing!!! They treated us like family, and our guests like VIPS.. But that's because they treat everyone like that too! Best hotel I've ever stayed at :)

We stayed at The Grand Bohemian the night before and the night of my wedding, in a one-bedroom suite on their Club level. Their staff was truly wonderful, from the front desk serv...
ice to the valets and porters and everyone in between. The hotel was gorgeous and very classy and modern. One of their bellmen even helped hang up my wedding dress when we arrived to the room and loaded and unloaded countless amounts of bags and wedding supplies to and from the suite. My only complaint is how thin their walls are. That really is an issue for them throughout the hotel, as guests can hear each other talking normally in the next room over on multiple levels throughout the hotel, even resulting in us receiving a noise violation the night before my wedding, for calm conversation between my girlfriends and I. For such an amazing hotel and one of the most upscale venues in the Orlando area, I hope they invest to add additional noise insulation, for the benefit of all of their guests. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel for any and all occasions in the Orlando area.
Grand Bohemian hosted our wedding reception on July 7th, 2012 and lived up to our expectations. Working in the hospitality industry, I was looking for something different and tryin...
g to stay away from a hotel for our wedding reception. During our search for venues, we came across the Grand Bohemian Hotel and decided just to go look at it for the fun of it since we had passed by it numerous times. Right away, I knew this was the place! My mom and I scouted the place first and then I went with my then fiancé to show him the hotel on the inside. The colorful art work and interior design took our breath away and we signed the contract within a few weeks. We started the planning process with Sandra Thornton back in September 2010 and she was a true delight to work with! She answered all of my annoying questions right away and ensured us we would be in good hands even though the wedding was still far away. Our original wedding date was supposed to be September 3, 2011 but we had to move the date to this year and the hotel was more than accommodating. In February of this year, Sandra moved to corporate and we started working with the new Director of Catering, Eric, who tried to put our minds at ease with the change. Naturally, we had a few hiccups since our wedding contact had changed but we were able to get everything worked out. In the last few weeks leading up to the wedding, Rebecca became a second person of contact for our wedding. During the last week, we talked almost at least once a day so I thank her for her patience and willingness to work with us (we had a few cancellations). She made sure we still met our minimum and offered alternatives to what we could do to enhance the wedding. On the wedding day, the ladies arrived at the hotel at 6am to get ready and before leaving to go to the church, Rebecca stopped by to make sure everything was in place. When our guests arrived for the cocktail hour, they were all impressed with the service and food the hotel provided. Although, it was a simple wedding, everyone I spoke to commented how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. Needless to say, the food was a huge hit! The best thing was the mango panna cotta desert, EVERYONE cleaned the glass. The banquet staff was outstanding in getting the food out on time and although I knew they were around, I hardly saw them (they were ninjas!).
Our only remark from the guests was that they wished the banquet staff would have asked them if they were done with the champagne from the toast before taking it away. Since it was an early reception (12-4) most people were slowly sipping on the champagne and most of them weren't able to finish it since they were cleared right away. My area of recommendation for the catering managers would be to ask the couple if there are any extra perishable favors what should be done with them. We didn't get asked this question and we had popcorn favors and later found out by my maid of honor that she was told to take the ones on the table because the rest were just going to be thrown out. I didn't get to keep any as souvenirs since I thought we would get the extras back in our suite.
We did get to stay the evening in one of the suites and it was fabulous! The suite had a shower and Jacuzzi. Since the hotel is centrally located, we walked to Urban Flats for dinner and Ember at night to meet up with friends.
Overall, we had a great experience with the Grand Bohemian hotel and their staff.

ng, and the food was amazing. We got so many compliments on the food and the hotel. They worked with our budget and we never had to worry about a thing. We were supposed to have a rooftop ceremony but it had started raining shortly before the ceremony. The hotel re-arranged everything to inside and you would have never known that the ceremony was moved only moments before, they did an amazing job! I wouldn't have had our wedding anywhere else, it turned out gorgeous and they beautiful artwork all throughout their hotel. The service was just amazing.

The hotel was filled with amazing artwork so there was plenty for our guests to look at during our cocktail hour. Plus we didn't have to spend much on flowers because the art was ...
all the decor we needed.;You won't be able to have many more guests than 130 or so if you want a huge wedding this porbably isn't the venue for you. It's a much more intimate setting than a big hall.
Cocktail Hour was on the pool deck it was beautiful. The food was great and the service from the staff was excellent.;Receptions held on pool deck are limited to a small number ...
of people and you cannot have dancing as the deck is too small. If you are going to have the reception in doors then splurge on lighting for the room.
very fun and artsy...
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Everyone worked really hard to make sure we were happy. I'm so glad we spent the extra money to have our reception here.
