Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa

We contacted The Grand Hotel to block off rooms for our wedding party and out of town guests. When choosing accommodations, this is the best choice for so many reasons! When you ask family and friends to spend the weekend with you, they'll be more enthusiastic about your special time, if they can stay in the most wonderful resort around. Our guests made our wedding weekend a vacation. The price of the rooms was beyond reasonable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the service is 5+ star! We worked with Eryn and Pam. These women went above and beyond for us. They were able to put us all in rooms that were in the same building, which was so fun! Most of our rooms had balconies that faced Mobile Bay. No one bothered us, and it felt like home. Two of our rooms were connected to one of the Hospitality Suites, which was by far the best! My bridesmaids, family, and I had a ton of space to get ready. With 15+ people, we had plenty of chairs for hair and makeup, nice sofas for relaxing, a kitchen area and dining table for snacks and drinks, and plenty of restrooms. My husband and I didn't want to do a first look, but wanted to take pictures with our family and bridal party. The Grand hotel provides the most beautiful backdrop for photos. There are so many areas on the grounds to choose from, we never worried about being in the same place at the same time. Our photographers were able to take the photos in several different areas, which will provide wonderful photos. The day was beautiful and we are so pleased. After our reception, all of our guests joined us at Bucky's Birdcage Lounge inside the hotel. We were able to continue the party, and not have to transport everyone or worry about anyone drinking and driving. We had a blast! On Sunday we met for Brunch. This was the best way to end the best weekend of our lives! My husband and I stayed one more night, and were able to sleep and relax after the very busy weekend. It was nice to just soak it all in and feel like we were on a mini-vacay. The Grand Hotel is amazing, and we can't wait to return!

Beautiful ballrooms, gorgeous scenery. Spectacular food and service.

Everything at the Grand was perfect!! The food was the best wedding food I've ever had and all the staff are incredible. Not to mention how amazing The Grand is in general. All of our guests are still raving!

The staff at The Grand did an exceptional job from beginning to end. We really enjoyed our day thanks to them and all their hard work. Melissa Wilt in the sales office is a pleasure to work with and highly recommend her. The hotel and grounds are gorgeous and a perfect setting.
