Higher end hotel but great service. They were very helpful with everything. While it didn't fit the budget for all of our guests, it was perfect for our parents and their friends ...
that were coming in from out of town.
PERFECT LOCATION. Right in the middle of it all. You can walk anywhere you'd like. The room was modern and classy. We were very happy with our stay.
After doing a TON of research on hotels for our guests (we had about 40 people coming to Seattle from out of town), we settled on the Olive 8 for a few reasons: Location - can't be...
beat...close to everything, and Value - it is a SWEET hotel and the group rate they gave us was very competitive. We stayed in a corner king the first night, and then moved into one of their suites for the night before and our wedding night. It was a dream for me and my bridesmaids to get ready and enjoy the room before the wedding...tons and tons of space for everyone and our hair and makeup team to spread out and do their thing. This was by far the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in (being my wedding, this is how it should be, right?), and it was worth every penny. The amenities available here are also great -- the gym, pool, spa (didn't make it here although I will next time!), and the in-house restaurant are all A+++. Now, for the icing on the top: the staff was incredible. Every single person we encountered from the valet attendants, concierge, front desk, bellmen (is that what they're still called?)...everyone was so pleasant and helpful, it just made the experience that much better. HIGHLY recommend staying here -- it's not the cheapest place in town, but I think it easily beats out places like the Westin or the W.
