Amazing venue and staffing team. This venue is completely stunning and unlike any wedding venue we have ever seen. Every single one of our guests complimented us on it. The site sits close to the city yet feels very secluded. We loved how large the property is so there is room for everything. We found it so special to be able to get ready onsite inside the mansion and that the flowers came from their own garden. Working with everyone on The Grand Lady team was easy as they are quick to respond and help with any of our needs/concerns. We did experience one minor issue as to our rehearsal day. We had scheduled our rehearsal via email and discussed at our final walk through a month before the day of the event. The day of the rehearsal we called to ask a question and discovered they forgot to schedule us to have our rehearsal that evening and now booked another event for the same time. Thankfully, they still allowed us to come and it was not a big deal, however we were confined to only the lawn area. Despite the small hiccup everything else was perfect and a lot of that is attributed to the phenomenal team and event space. Grand Lady truly offers everything you could need for a wedding making us confident in the space plus they provided an extensive list of vendors we could trust to create our dream day! Highly recommend having your wedding at the Grand Lady as it will be a place everyone will remember forever.
Loved our time here. Perfect for a June wedding in Texas. A lot of options for indoor/outdoor ceremony & reception. Their floral garden is breathtaking! They take such great care of the property. The mansion was PERFECT for the morning of, getting ready, vows, photos, and for our families to be. They have amazing rental options as well for furniture/bar fronts/etc.
Located just outside Austin, The Grand Lady benefits from proximity to the city while offering a serene and picturesque setting away from the urban hustle. While being about 30 minutes from downtown the accessibility by our private bus or car were convenient for our guests traveling from Austin or nearby areas.
The combination of a southern mansion and a modern reception building offered us a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary amenities These 2 areas were separated by a meandering garden was just beautiful.
The availability of both indoor and outdoor spaces gave us flexibility regardless of the weather, which is crucial for Texas’s unpredictable climate. Ample room for our 80 guests gave us spacious yet intimate feeling setting, accommodating both the wedding ceremony and reception seamlessly.
The staff worked with us and our wedding planner to anticipate our needs and collaborated smoothly with our vendors such as caterers and musicians etc. They were very professional and made sure we had a smooth and enjoyable day.
Many of our guests told us that it was one of their favorite weddings to attend and I’m sure it was partly due to the Grand Lady’s professionalism, ambiance and overall enjoyment of the day.
The Grand Lady provided a wonderful and memorable wedding day for our daughter and her husband, which was ultimately the most important thing for us all.
The Grand Lady delivered on all fronts, making it a highly recommended choice for couples seeking an amazing wedding venue near Austin, Texas.

The grand lady was everything!!!! Exceeded my expectations. The staff is so warm and welcoming, the space is gorgeous, and the team was so easy to work with. We are so happy we chose them.
We got married at the Grand Lady two weeks ago and I could not have asked for a more perfect venue!! Christy, Carly and the whole team at TGL were so kind, caring and helpful through the whole process! We highly recommend this venue!

Wow I just got choked up thinking back to my special day. This venue is the PERFECT mix of vintage, timeless, stunning antique with a splash of modern, clean perfection. And the fact that we ( me and my HUBBY) were given the opportunity to stay in the home the night of the wedding, just us two, was absolute magic. The experience from start the finish was so wonderful and I can't thank the staff at The Grand Lady enough. When I walked onto the property, I just knew and the beautiful, personable tour sealed the deal. I can't thank them enough for communicating with, not just me, but my amazing planner as well and for providing such a magical location for me and my husband to celebrate with all of our favorite people. I will recommend this venue for as long as I live!
Love, love, love this venue! I am a wedding photographer and I always recommend this venue to all of my couples. Not only is the venue gorgeous and can accommodate both large and small weddings, it has so many amazing spaces to photograph in. With all of its natural light, windows that make it seem you're still outside even when you're indoors, and the perfect place to get ready ... the Grand Lady is an absolute dream. Plus, the owners and the team who run it are so kind, easy to work with, professional, and fun!

The Grand Lady was the perfect venue - not only is the property and house so beautiful, but Christy and the team are so incredibly warm and welcoming! We fell in love before we even saw it in person and once we got to do a site visit, we were obsessed with the historical house and how it was complemented so perfectly by the modern event hall. Our biggest challenge was deciding how we wanted to use all of the spaces since there are so many good options!
Communicating with Christy from before we booked and throughout our planning process was a breeze - she was always super quick to respond and also worked so seamlessly with our planner. We felt like TGL had everything we needed, made it very easy to work with our other vendors, and overall made our wedding day so comfortable and stress free.
We wish we could get married there again because they're constantly improving the property and creating even more beautiful new spaces throughout!
I could not recommend The Grand Lady and their team enough! I used the space for my bridal portraits and aside from every space being breathtakingly beautiful, the team was so kind and made the booking process quick and easy. If my husband and I weren’t getting married out of town near family we would have 100% booked The Grand Lady for our wedding day too. I highly highly recommend.
I cannot say enough good things about the Grand Lady! I loved every minute of working with the staff at the Grand Lady and they made my wedding a dream come true! I booked the Grand Lady initially because it is absolutely gorgeous and I would choose it again and again because they were such a joy to work with! OMG!! Words can not express the gratitude and absolute joy we all experienced having Megan and Sam’s wedding at The Grand Lady on 11/17/23! From start to finish everything was perfection! The attention to detail, the ability to have the bridesmaids together to do HAMU, the groomsmen to have a separate space to hang and get together, huge kitchen and dining area for everyone to eat before the ceremony, beautiful grounds, breathtaking mansion and ceremony spot, plenty of bathrooms and beautiful reception area! 95% of our guests were from Wisconsin and they all remarked on how impressed and how much fun they had at the wedding!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you and your staff did behind the scenes to have it run so smoothly! It truly “takes a village” to pull off a wedding that we all had the best time at! From the venue, to the emotional ceremony, the flowers (omg the flowers - Shannon from TGL Floral crushed it), cocktail hour with lights, to the food (Royal Fig - delicious and hot) and the Blind Date Band (no words to describe the best band ever) and the sparkler exit - it was flawless! Plus the fact that you suggested the groomsmen using the Airbnb to shower after Skeet was a lifesaver!

I've been photographing weddings in Texas for 9 years at dozens of venues, so I had seen a TON. When I saw the Grand Lady in Austin, I knew immediately that's the venue I wanted to get married at. I had the perfect summer wedding on the lawn in July of 2022. The venue and staff are incredible and half of our guests who traveled from out of state still rave about the venue. It is also a photographer's dream to shoot at. The lighting is stunning and photo ops are endless. I can't recommend the Grand Lady enough.
My daughter's wedding in 2022 was a milestone not only in her life but in our extended family as well. We had the best experience with the owners, planning staff and management and would highly recommend the venue as it likely has only improved since that time. You could book elsewhere for a number of reasons but if professionalism is on the top of your list you shouldn't.
Most amazing venue with a great owner and fantastic and sweet manager. Grand Lady is the best venue in Austin, in my opinion! :)

We had the best wedding imaginable at The Grand Lady! The team is truly phenomenal and the venue is so magical. We knew from the moment we stepped onto the property that this was where we were going to get married. After booking, we always felt so supported by Christy and the team to answer all of our questions and concerns so quickly and professionally. There was never a moment that we felt we weren't a priority, even 10 months out when they were in the height of wedding season. They did everything to help us live out our wedding dream. They really went above and beyond for us to make our day more special than we could have imagined. I am so excited to see what amazing improvements and additions they continue to make to this already spectacular place. The team and owners love this place and have invested so much time in cultivating and preserving its history, and it shows. I toured so many different Austin-area wedding venues and this one was THE one.
Location: This is, like, the goldilocks of venues. So many downtown options are small or have one bathroom (yikes), and Dripping Springs is so far. This is a perfect distance from town and is so accommodating.
Space: One of the key words I had for my wedding was “accommodating” and the Grand Lady delivered. There is beautiful space to get ready, to eat in the morning, for several different photo ops across the different rooms and across the venue, and plenty of bathrooms for guests! Plus, when it flash flooded the morning of our wedding, we had several options to take cover and the covered awning space turned out even better than we imagined. Some other venues only had one plug for a curler (what??). The Grand Lady has it all.
People: Christy is lovely and really worked with us on what I understand was a HUGE installation. I know it must have been difficult to make it all work on top of the rain, but the team really went above and beyond to make it look seamless and beautiful.
Final word: It’s gorgeous. It’s got everything you need so you’re not rushing around on your wedding day, it has space to accommodate both your wedding party and the full guests throughout the day. Or if it rains :). And it’s run by a wonderful team. What’s not to love?

The Grand Lady was our dream venue. From the moment we entered through the gate we fell in love. Surrounded by greenery and trees, the "grand" white mansion initially catches your eye. As you get closer and look to your right, the more modern reception hall juxtaposes, yet perfectly complements the more traditional, southern feel of the venue. Overall, as far as aesthetics are concerned, if you're looking to have a classy/modern wedding feel with southern charm this is the venue for you.
From the beginning, we were kindly welcomed by the manager Christy and owner Katie who were accommodating and readily available to us. We highly recommend anyone who is interested to go to an open house which are occasionally held. This helped us with vision and also with meeting vendors.
On the day-of, we received so many compliments from our guests about the venue. We also felt at ease knowing how professional and flexible the staff were in case anything big or small went wrong. Lastly, from a photography-perspective this venue is excellent. Between taking photos inside and outside the mansion, against the backdrop of the trees, to the secret flower garden there are so many places to fit your vision of photos. We especially liked the photos in the library.
We will always think fondly back to our wedding at The Grand Lady and hope y'all will too.

The Grand Lady is such a gem in the Austin area, it's hard to find a venue that's better! The main house is so thoughtfully put together and truly feels like home. The grounds are maintained year round and the modern hall was a life saver during my client's wedding due to a full day of rain. The staff is so kind and truly wants each couple to have the best wedding day possible. Christy specifically was the one assisting us during planning and she helped us make sure that our weather plans were just as great as our Plan A. You can tell how much she cares for each client and the well being of such a gorgeous property. Overall we had the best experience and would recommend to anyone!

The moment I drove onto the Grand Lady property I knew I found my venue and then when I toured and met Christy the property manager I was sure. The venue itself is stunning, the house makes such a great backdrop for photos and the reception hall is so beautiful that you don't need any decorations. The property was clean and well taken care of on the day of the wedding. The groom and I got to stay at the house the night of the wedding which is a memory I will never forget. We picked the perfect venue for the perfect day.

The Grand Lady was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Christy is so responsive and kind, the owners are awesome and care so much about every single wedding, and the venue itself is gorgeous - rain or shine! It was raining on our day but it didn't matter - the venue had a great rain plan and the owners brought extra flowers into the house for us since they knew we'd be taking lots of pictures indoors. There is no way I can put into words how much we absolutely loved our wedding at the Grand Lady. We viewed almost every single venue in the general Austin/Hill Country area and The Grand Lady fit every want that we had... big getting ready space, modern yet warm reception hall, having the venue completely to ourselves, and overall just the exact vibe we were looking for (not ranch style, not far out of downtown, etc.). On top of that, Christy the Venue Manager is the absolute best person to work with. She replied so fast, answered my 1,000 questions with so much kindness and was so flexible and accommodating. We had quite a large wedding party (16 girls getting ready up stairs and 16 boys downstairs) and there was more than enough room, bathrooms, and the full kitchen was amazing for breakfast/lunch for the bridesmaids. The reception hall is amazing, such a great blank canvas but so beautiful that you dont need too much either - it easily fit 150 guests and a band with plenty of room to dance and sit! I can ramble on for days about how it was the most perfect venue - I cannot recommend it enough. Just absolutely stunning and amazing venue and staff. We already miss it!

Besides being one of the most gorgeous venues in the Austin area, I had an excellent experience with everyone I came into contact with. Christy is so responsive and warm. There was a very minor landscaping issue the morning of the wedding, and both Christy and the owner went above and beyond with their apologies. There is ample space and parking and the venue feels classic and timeless. I love that it’s almost a blank slate that can perfectly accommodate any theme or vibe.

The Grand Lady is an absolute DREAM. We knew the moment we pulled up that we had found our venue. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous in every way. It's the perfect mix of old and new with the gorgeous refurbished old house and the incredible, more modern, reception area... let's not forget about the beautiful patio area that is PERFECT for cocktail hour. Not only did we end up with the most amazing photos, but so did all of our guests!
The interior of the house is so stunning, and it's such a special place to prepare and get ready for your big day!
Christy is so, so, so wonderful to work with. We wish we could just go hang out at The Grand Lady with her every day!!!
Our wedding day ended up being gorgeous, but I wasn't even stressed because the rain plan would have still been amazing -- and there are several great options for rain plans.

We fell in love with The Grand Lady right away. It's a beautiful property that gave us a private and cozy space to host our friends and family for our wedding. The mansion provided ample space for our bridal party to get ready and hangout. In addition, it provided a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. The event hall is modern and was the perfect space for our guests, band, and dance floor. Throughout the entire planning process, Christy was quick to respond and always had a calm and sweet presence. Choosing The Grand Lady is one of the easiest and best decisions you can make!!

The Grand Lady is a perfect mix of traditional, with the mansion, and modern, with the reception space. It also allows the flexibility of indoor and outdoor which is exactly what myself and my now husband wanted. The mansion allowed plenty of space for our hair and makeup team to spread out upstairs with the groomsmen being able to hang out downstairs. We could not have asked for a better experience with everyone at the Grand Lady!

We planned our wedding for 2 years and the changes that the Grand Lady has done to the venue were just highlights to our special day! Christy and her team were so easy to work with! The Grand Lady is truly a STUNNING wedding venue! This was one of two venues we toured and after seeing another venue, we knew this one was the one. Christy was such a help and was always so responsive to any questions I had during the planning process.
I had my wedding on a Thursday, so me and my bridesmaids were able to stay in the mansion the night before. It was basically like staying in an airbnb and I would so recommend it if you're able! It was so fun staying the night in the mansion!!! All my girls loved it.
Day of, the only hiccup that was venue related was definitely due to me not paying the set up fee for the chairs and tables, but the owner was there the morning of, I believe his name is John, he actually helped my wedding planners set them up even though I hadn't paid for it. I was truly grateful for that.
Other than that, everything was seamless and absolutely beautiful. All of my guests had great things to say about the venue. I would 11/10 recommend this venue to anyone wanting a unique venue near the Austin area!

Christy was so helpful from the second we stepped on the property. We drove down from Dallas and she was able to give us a tour that same day after another venue cancelled on us at the last minute. She was very knowledgeable about the property not just as a manager but as she also had her wedding at The Grand Lady. We loved the minimalism and simple beauty of the property. It was also a big item on our list to have everything all in one place since most of our guests were traveling from all over. The house, the grounds, and the reception hall was just everything I could want. A little bit antique, a lot of greenery, and modern all at the same time. We worked with Kacie on the day of and Scout (the owners dog) even came to visit us girls while we were getting ready. Kacie was great. Kept checking in on us and was so nice and helpful at every turn. Thank you Grand Lady for such an amazing day.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. This is the only venue that we could find, within reasonable price range, that allows a 24-hour rental and some overnight accommodations on site. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and well maintained all year. However, my favorite thing about this venue was the staff. The owners of the venue are a younger family that are heavily involved and show a true passion for running the venue. The onsite manager Christy was a previous bride of the grand lady and knows the venue inside and out. She is incredibly organized and remembers the smallest of details about each couple getting married there which is impressive given how booked they are! They were so flexible with us and our timeline and willing to make modifications to the contract to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. If you get married here, you will not regret it!

To be quite frank, The Grand Lady was not really on our radar when looking for a venue, but what a SURPRISE! This venue is absolutely stunning. It has a country feel, but also a brand new modern reception hall that was incredible. Christy was easy to work with and they allowed us to bring in our own vendors which added a fun customizable element to our wedding. There is a beautiful outdoor courtyard area that was perfect for a cocktail hour. There's a natural flow about the space too that makes it easy to transition from each part of the event. We loved every part of it and highly recommend!

Simply put, The Grand Lady is the best wedding venue in Austin, hands down. We booked them about a month after getting engaged and immediately fell in love with the venue upon touring it. The owners and all the staff onsite are so easy to work with, and also very genuine people. You get the feeling they truly want to make your day special and will go above and beyond to do so. The new reception hall is STUNNING, and the mansion offers a beautiful backdrop for photos. There's no other venue in Austin I'd go with. We loved it and our guests were SO complimentary of the event as well.

The Grand Lady is absolutely magical. As a wedding vendor, I've had the opportunity to see this space come to life over the last couple years. It has become one of my favorite venues to work at. The venue is stunning and the Grand Lady team is made up of the kindest people in the industry. They went out of their way to make sure our wedding ran smoothly. I am in awe with how amazing the Grand Lady treated my husband and I and how well they made our wedding day dreams come true! The owner Katie and the manager Christie were true hostesses on their property. The whole property transformed from the time we first toured where the reception hall was just bones to the day we got married. They worked so hard to make this property a true dream. I can't say anything but wonderful things! We are so blessed to have been able to share our special day with the Grand Lady. There is this wonderful mesh between vintage with the house and modern with the reception hall.
The Grand Lady was the absolute picture perfect backdrop for our wedding. Everyone knows that planning a wedding is stressful - Katie (owner) and Christy (venue manager) were a blessing. They went above and beyond to put as at ease, help us organize details, and make things easier for our families and vendors on the day of the reception. One of our wedding guests had their car break down the night of the reception and Christy stayed to make sure they were okay.
Our families loved hanging out in the Grand Lady before the reception, and our guests loved having the outdoor space and the reception venue to hang out throughout the night. The reception hall is a blank slate in the best way - you can do so much with it, whether you're having a small or big wedding. Our only regret is not having more time to spend in the Mansion afterwards! It was a blessing to be able to stay in the night after a long day. I couldn't recommend this venue enough.
Grand Lady was the only venue we toured, and that was because we fell in love with it and ended up cancelling our other tours / inquiries. The home itself is beautiful and the property that surrounds it is incredibly versatile, providing many options for personalization and event flow. We initially met with Katie, the owner, and later on worked with Christy, the general manager, as we got closer to our wedding date. Both ladies were incredibly helpful, thoughtful and flexible, which made planning our day much easier. Christy went above and beyond to help us plan our day, traveling to the venue at night to get us pictures of the lighting and being extremely responsive with all of our questions/needs. Our day was beyond what we ever imagined and we would choose the Grand Lady over and over again if we had to,
This place is a dream come true! That's exactly how we felt when we drove up to the Grand Lady - which is funny because it was raining and at that point in time the Victorian house was still going through cosmetic changes (the house was green/blue!) and the reception hall didn't yet exist. But after meeting Katie, we knew that her and Sean were going to create magic. And did they create magic. It was our perfect venue and we feel so lucky we got to bring our community there to celebrate our love. We were able to customize bits and pieces and the whole day truly felt like us. Thank you to Christy for working with us and being so accommodating and so awesome! The whole property is beautiful - from the classic Victorian bones to the modern design touches, to the new reception hall, all surrounded by nature. We couldn't recommend it enough and hope we find another reason to go back!
There are not enough words to describe the perfection that is the Grand Lady. This venue had EVERYTHING - a beautiful historic house (inside & out), romantic courtyard and greenery, and a dreamy modern reception hall. This venue is serious a gem! On top of that, the venue coordinator, Christy is absolutely AMAZING. She went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Getting married here was a dream come true and our guests were absolutely in awe. 100/10 recommend!

The Grand Lady is such an incredible space to marry your best friend! We struggled to find a venue that was flexible and cared about our personal needs. From the beginning, the Grand Lady made us feel at home and completely cared for! We loved the timeless and classic vintage feel of the home with the modern reception space. It truly is the best of both worlds and has so many great spaces for any of your celebration needs. We will definitely be back for a dinner party or anniversary picnic!

My daughter and her fiancé fell in love with the Grand Lady within minutes of their first visit. Katie was SO welcoming to them and so extremely enjoyable to work with. Katie and Christy could not have been more accommodating to us and catered to our every need and MORE! They worked closely with us to ensure everything would be perfect for us. And it was!! Besides being a beautiful venue and perfect setting for a wedding, working with Katie and Christy was the highlight of our wedding planning experience. They are the sweetest people and did everything to make this day perfect. We could not have been happier with this venue. Everything from the beautiful mansion, the beautiful grounds and the indoor reception area made this a dream wedding we will never forget!!!!

We fell in love with the Grand Lady the moment we toured for the first time. Since the brand new Event Hall is so versatile, we had an indoor ceremony which was flipped to reception space with the help of our amazing wedding planner and caterer! My husband and I were able to host 150 of our friends and family seamlessly. With the Grand Lady’s 24 hour rental period, we were able to actually enjoy our time at the Victorian mansion, never feeling rushed since we were already on site. The Victorian home is a charming balance between vintage and modern accents with all of the amenities of a typical home, truly a spacious place to get ready with the upstairs bridal suite. Our guests loved the outdoor courtyard space, which was perfect for lawn games, seating, and an outdoor bar. We worked closely with Christy (manager) as well as Katie and Sean (owners), who were so kind, attentive, and responsive to our needs. We are SO grateful for the entire team at The Grand Lady, and our wedding would not have been the same without them!

Unfortunately we weren't able to host our wedding at the Grand Lady due to unforeseen personal circumstances, however, working with Katie was an absolute pleasure. She was extremely responsive and accommodating. Because we were planning our wedding from afar and wouldn't be able to see the venue in person before booking, Katie sent us many videos, spoke with us in great detail about the property, and answered loads of questions. I've heard nothing but good things about Katie and the Grand Lady from the planners and vendors I've spoken with, and sincerely hope we can plan an event there in the future.

Katie and Sean are an absolute delight to work with. My husband and I were the first "large" wedding to be held at the Grand Lady, and Katie and Sean worked tirelessly to make sure the venue was in top form for our day. We chose the Grand Lady because of its unique history, beautiful scenery, and ability to "customize" what our day could look like. Everyone had a phenomenal time, and the day was even better than what we could have imagined. Katie and Sean's work ethic, kindness, and generosity set them apart from other venues, and we cannot recommend the Grand Lady more highly.
The Grand Lady is a unique and beautiful spot located just outside of Austin. We took our engagement photos on the property recently and could not have had a better time. The house and grounds gave our pictures a "grand" setting while still allowing us to feel comfortable and relaxed during the shoot. Plus, the original, Victorian-era stained glass windows stole my heart! Katie, the owner, gave us a lovely tour and really welcomed us. She truly made this special place feel like it was our home while we were there. If your looking for a warm and inviting venue with tons of character that still feels elevated for your special day- look no further!

Wow! The Grand Lady is stunning!! I recently discovered this venue and fell in love with their beautiful property. I photographed there for a last minute recent bridal shoot and Katie was so easy to work with! Katie was so sweet and accommodating. The shoot took place on a rainy day and the photos turned out dreamy and gorgeous on their covered porch! This would be a wonderful location for any wedding!
The Grand Lady is a truly special place. The mansion has so much character and has been beautifully restored. It's tucked back in an oak grove and is so quaint and romantic. The renderings for the new, modern wedding spaces going in on the property are also fantastic. I recently put together a styled wedding shoot at The Grand Lady and it photographs so vividly. Katie was lovely to work with as well. This venue is an absolute gem!
I was overwhelmed when we started planning our wedding but that changed when I landed on The Grand Lady. Katie was so quick to respond to our inquiry, schedule calls with us and make us feel at ease in this crazy planning world. She is a true delight to work with, so passionate about the industry and is everything you'd hope for in a wedding partner. The Grand Lady is a STUNNING venue and the work they've done just shows how dedicated she is to her work and making this space a staple in the industry. We had booked this venue but due to Covid decided to do something smaller--Katie was so easy to work with us on these changes. I can't recommend working with her and this venue enough--she's so accommodating and helpful.
Katie and Shawn (forgive me if I spelt that wrong!) are WONDERFUL! They are both so easy to talk to, so accommodating and helpful. The Grand Lady is absolutely stunning. We’ve watched some of the transformations real time and they are incredible. The mansion has a very modern feel while still keeping its character. Katie told us that blue on a house used to mean that all were welcome and she made sure to incorporate that into its new facelift. We are so excited to get married here Halloween 2021!!
The Grand Lady is one of the most incredible venues in Austin! It has so much charm and is nestled into a gorgeous, secluded piece of property surrounded by beautiful lush trees. Being a photographer, I was in photo heaven! There are so many amazing places to take photos inside and outside, which is such an important thing to consider when choosing a venue. There is so much intention behind its design and all of its little details. After learning about the history of the mansion, it made me fall in love with it even more! We worked with Katie and she is seriously a dream to work with. We could tell how passionate she is about The Grand Lady and how much she truly cares about the couples and vendors that she works with. If you're looking for a venue in the Austin area, I can't recommend it enough!
We found The Grand Lady after scrambling to reschedule our April wedding due to COVID-19. We fell in love with the photos and reached out. Katie, the manager, responded immediately and proceeded to be such a reassuring help during a really stressful time (including sending us virtual video tour walkthroughs).
The pricing and amenities are pretty on par with other venues, though since they are brand, brand new they are still getting a few things in place (chair and table count, rentals); may actually be better given you get 24 hour access and get to stay in the mansion the night of the wedding!
All in all, I would highly recommend exploring Grand Lady as an option for your wedding. Katie does an amazing job managing the relationship and I could easily see Grand Lady becoming a wedding staple for Texas brides.

My fiance and I will be getting married in fall 2021 and we have looked at so many venues, and we loved Grand Lady. We came to the open house Katie and her husband, Sean hosted. They were wonderful hosts, so friendly and helpful. The property itself is spectacular. We didn't know what to expect with a new venue. We drove in the winding drive, through the oak trees and were blown away by the first look at the mansion! Its super old and Sean told us about its history. It was actually built as a wedding present way back in the day. The new event building will be done in 2020 and is more modern. We can't wait to follow the progress on this place.
Ok - my fiance has been dragging me to so many venues and I reluctantly visited this one on week 2 of the NFL. Major shocker. This venue is awesome - not too girly and the grooms lounge is awesome! Can't wait to drink whiskey with my groomsman on the patio.
We visited the Grand Lady last week and loved it. It was so refreshing to see such a unique venue that isn't a barn or ranch like many of the venues in the Austin area. It was great because it has a ton of land so you feel like you are in the country but the amenities, planned new reception hall and the mansion give such a fresh, high design vibe! We love it!

We toured the Grand Lady and fell in love! An old texas mansion sits on 20 acres surrounded by oak trees and has an awesome wrap around deck. The interior of the mansion has been completely renovated and is so well done. Katie, the owner, was an amazing host and seems like she would be great to work with. They will be adding an event hall in fall 2020 that will be more modern with indoor and outdoor areas for reception and ceremony! We love it!
The family behind this beautiful venue has put so much love into this space! Their careful attention to detail really honors the history of the house and their eye for Instagram-worthy decor makes it really stand out from many of the Greater Austin area venues. It’s elevated, but not at all pretentious! You can’t help but feel at home in the space.
