We absolutely loved the GrandLoft for our wedding reception and the process of working with Joe. From the get-go, we loved Joe’s enthusiasm and the ability to have our wedding the ...
way we wanted it (supply own beverages, choose our own caterer). The space itself is beautiful with the brick walls and columns, and it has been nicely kept up. We also added on the Photo Booth which was the highlight of the night, our guests loved having instant photos available from the wedding. Joe provides the DJ and bartender (at an extra cost) who are knowledgeable on the space and really helped keep the night going smoothly. We were also able to rent the space the Friday before which was great as it allowed us to set up without being rushed the morning of. Our only complaint was some of the loud static/mic feedback from the DJ during speeches and dinner music, but it did not ruin our night whatsoever. We highly recommend having your reception at the GrandLoft!
Joe was very helpful and responsive during our initial visit and subsequent planning of our event. He was easy to work with and brought a wealth of knowledge that helped us prepare...
for and execute a great evening!
The Grand Loft is a beautiful venue in downtown Grand Ledge. There are many features that sold us on this particular venue. The beautiful and historic building, the exposed brick a...
nd floor-to-ceiling windows, the ability to partner with outside vendors, the ease of parking and accessibility (this is SO important if you have older guests or guests with disabilities...Do NOT forget about this in your venue search), and of course working with Joe Todd (owner) and his amazing crew...to name just a few things. We appreciated Joe's flexibility and support throughout the planning process. He was always quick to answer our questions and stopped by on the morning of our wedding to make sure that everything was good to go. Thank you Grand Loft events! We had a magical day with you.
A top-notch experience from start to finish. Grand Loft was exactly what I hoped for! All our guests had a great time, and my hubby and I still get compliments of how much they enj...

Our ceremony & reception couldn’t have been better. Thanks to Joe for his attention to detail, and his wonderful staff for making our winter wedding the best night of my life!
Our wedding was back in August, and our review of the Grand Loft is way overdue. We have nothing but positive things to say about the Grand Loft and working with the owner, Joe. We...
had a white, gold, and eucalyptus themed wedding and the exposed brick walls in the Grand Loft were absolutely gorgeous and elevated our wedding reception decor to the next level. Joe was very easy to work with in all aspects - quick, effective communication…helped us with envisioning our day…explained what worked/didn’t work in the space….accommodated what we wanted to do with our decor…We could go on and on. We loved that the Grand Loft provides a DJ and bartender, as these were two less things that we had to worry about. Our DJ was Jesse and he was very nice to work with. He played our preferred songs and fit in a lot of requests as well. He even made us a mixed CD of the songs he played during the reception. It was a really nice surprise gift! I can’t recall our bartenders name, but we had no issues and our guests loved her. The Grand Loft is a hidden gem in the Lansing area - my husband and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience here. Three months later and we are still getting compliments on our reception choice!
Our dreams came true at Grand Loft! Joe made sure every detail was covered (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, announcements, all our formal dances, open dancing, bar, up-lighting, p...
hotobooth) - even our private suite on the top floor! Their bartender made the best manhattans, (but my husband liked the cosmopolitans even more)! The DJ kept everyone on the dance floor (sorry we kept yelling "one more song!" even when the night was over). Thanks again Joe and the staff for making our most special day/night absolutely spectacular!
We had our wedding in May at the Grand Loft and it was amazing. The space is gorgeous and needs minimal decor. Joe was great to work with and so was his team! If I had to do it all...
over again I would still choose the Grand Loft!

as well worth the drive. Everything went so smoothly the day of and turned out exactly as I had planned and envisioned. We also used Morton's Fine Catering which was such a blessing because they work together often so everyone knew the drill.
Grand Loft is an AMAZING place. We had both our ceremony and reception here and everything went perfectly. Grand Loft is very different than other venues, this place has large wind...
ows and beautiful brick beams. The DJ is included with this venue, which is awesome because it's one less thing we had to worry about finding. The DJ services was great, no complaints from any of our guest. We added the photo booth which I would highly recommend. It's not a little photo booth machine, it's a real person taking the pcitures. The whole night we heard from our guest about how wonderful the Grand Loft was. From start to finish everything went perfectly. Joe and his staff do an amazing job. Seriously take a tour and book it, you won't regret it!
We had an amazing wedding at the Grand Loft, everything was perfect and Joe was great to work with, he had everything under control and made sure we had a wonderful wedding!!!

t our guests really enjoyed. The DJ was included which was one more thing we were able to cross off our extensive list of wedding must-haves. Joe Todd, the owner, did an awesome job as our host and DJ. His laid back attitude made him very easy to work with and his extensive experience in the business gave us peace of mind that our night would be great and stress-free, and it was. It's a night my husband and I, as well as our closest family and friends will never forget. I have and will continue to recommend Grand Loft to anyone searching for a reception venue.

nts from guests about the venue. We had our ceremony and reception there, plus used the 3rd floor suite for getting ready, all very convenient. Owner Joe Todd was great to work with throughout the whole process and also did a fantastic job as DJ and host.
The Grand Loft was amazing for our wedding on Oct.17th! We loved so much about the venue including the up lighting, the photo booth, and Joe Todd did a great job as the DJ!

, exit, and everything else as needed. As the DJ, he was very interactive with our guests. He was thoughtful in music choice so that it suited the mood perfectly. I could not have imagined a better reception venue. Much thanks to Grand Loft!
Joe Todd was fabulous in helping us just enough with suggestions while letting the space and the event be my daughter's personal vision. His DJ for the event, Dr. Jesse Draper, was...
fantastic, finding old songs for requests of our guests. The space was comfortable for young and old. The music was a perfect mix. The photo booth and uplighting made the reception fun and beautiful. The staff are consummate professionals who made sure that everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend this site. It is a unique and beautiful venue.
Joe Todd was amazing to work with and his venue is absolutely gorgeous!! I could not be happier with my choice to have my wedding reception at the Grand Loft in Grand Ledge. Perfec...
t location, beautiful venue, not to mention Joe is the best DJ in town! He played hit after hit and just the right amount of slow dance songs. The music was so good; some people never left the dance floor. I loved that I was able to bring in my own vendors for food and was able to save quite a bit of money buying my own drinks. I took full advantage of all the service’s Joe offers; we had the photo booth, the up-lighting (which really complimented my decorations) and we even rented his upstairs suite to get ready in the day of the wedding. To top it all off, Glo Salon did a fabulous job on hair and make up for my bridal party. It really is a one-stop shop. If you are looking for a classy, elegant venue for your wedding day, look no further!
loved the venue, we were looking for a unique and classy place to have both the ceremony and reception. We had a little over 50 guests and it was perfect! We went with the up light...
ing which was well worth the extra cost , it really added to the beautiful exposed brick walls and made the atmosphere so amazing! We were able to pick our caterers and bring in our own Alcohol . We were very happy with our choice, and would highly recommend it if your looking for something outside the box.
I chose the Grand Loft for our reception venue because I wanted a unique space that was different than the banquet halls in the area. I loved the large windows and the brick walls,...
I definitely recommend using the up-lighting on the walls. Joe, the owner, was very accommodating and was a great DJ. We were able to use the caterer of our choice and provide our own alcohol which was a huge money saver. The space is on the smaller side, we had a comfortable 130 guests and food stations. I would recommend not surpassing 150 guests if you want space to move. Overall, I am very happy I went with the Grand Loft.
This was a great space, I loved the brick walls and the brick beams! we had 128 people sitting at round tables fitting 8 guest/table, I would NOT have wanted any more than that, it...
was pretty full, so if you use this venue I would suggest having 130 or less if you are having a sit down meal. They say 175 can fit but it would be VERY crowded! But it was a great place to celebrate!
We were hooked on having our wedding at the Grand Loft from the moment we saw their flyers. Its a wonderful old building that's been remodeled. The loft is on the 2nd floor with ...
lots of windows and exposed brick. There is a great bar area, and they do not force you to work with their vendors! You bring the food, drink and decor and make your day what you want it to be. Our DJ was included with the price, which was a big savings and another huge selling point. We loved the loft, and are so glad we had our wedding here!
