One of our favorite parts about our photos was that they took photos of the guests throughout - what a great way to remember how many friends and family members were able to share in our special day! We also didn’t have much preference in where we took photos throughout downtown - they had great suggestions! We received our photos in a timely manner, even during busy wedding season. We were so lucky to come across Bob's adorable photo booth trailer, once I saw a picture of the Pink Flamingo, I knew I had to have it for my wedding day! The photo booth is an old trailer, fixed up and painted pink, that your wedding guest go into for photos! It's air conditioned, which was a plus for our June wedding. Our guests got to take home as many photos as they wanted, the photos started printing as soon as their pictures were taken and they LOVED it! Our photo booth operator for the night was Zak, he was the perfect fit for our wedding, he was so nice and laid back, he gave our friends and family such a fun experience! Bob and his staff are awesome, they were quick to respond to emails and questions, they arrived at my wedding venue to set up when they were supposed to. We had a great experience with Grand Lubell Photography! The guests at our wedding loved this photobooth and it provided a fun experience at the wedding and also many memories to hold onto after the event. We hired Bob after searching for a photographer near Sandusky OH. We were supposed to get married on Put-In-Bay island but due to Covid we had to move the wedding to where we live, Oak Park IL. After talking to Bob he was gracious enough to offer to do our photos in IL. He drove to our town, photographed our wedding beautifully, and drove back to Toledo the same day! Thanks Bob!

Bob is an awesome communicator and detailed oriented. Bob was very attentive to our needs and did a great job of making our day perfect. Grand Lubell photography is amazing. We had a small intimate Indian wedding at my parent's place during this Pandemic but Grand Lubell captured every moment just like it would have been a normal wedding. Grand Lubell did an amazing job with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos!

Did not have a great experience with this photographer at all. We booked him in October 2019 for our wedding in April 2020 and paid him a deposit via Zelle as he requested. (He later said he doesn’t like to use Venmo or if I do use it, don’t put a reason for payment?). We were an out-of-state nurse and physical therapist traveling couple planning our Ohio wedding from South Carolina at the time (Our plan was to be in Ohio working on contract before the time of the wedding and then move onto the next state that needed us after we got married). Im my opinion, Bob did not answer well to emails after we paid him and signed the contract. We wanted to go over the timeline and discuss pictures that we absolutely wanted the day of. We had one phone conversation five weeks before the wedding which pretty much just included him trying to convince us to do a first look against our wishes. His argument was that we would not have enough time to get the photos he needed during cocktail hour. I expressed our wishes to keep it traditional and he just kept going on about it and how I needed to keep my wedding party in line. A week later, one month prior to our wedding date we found out that due to the pandemic COVID-19 our wedding would have to be canceled. We were completely devastated. We had spent SO much of our time and money over the last year planning this event that every bride has been dreaming of her whole life. As I mentioned earlier, my fiancé and I do travel work across the United States. There would be no way to re-plan a wedding so we had to call it off. Rescheduling wasn’t an option since we would not be in that area any longer. Bob was not open to refunding our large deposit or any portion of it even though it was out of our control. In my opinion, Bob did not perform any work for us. He did not create a wedding timeline and was not there for us when we reached out to him numerous times. He stated that his refund was non-refundable as listed in the contract, but a pandemic is out of our control and was NOT listed on the contract. After much discussion, Bob stated in an email that we would receive our deposit back and then quickly changed his mind in the next email. He told me that it was tremendous I was employed when so many are in trouble, not understanding that yes I might be working as a nurse (on the front lines of a pandemic no less), but I’m still also a bride that had dreams of her wedding day shattered and he offered no flexibility. Even if I’m working, I still do not think it’s right for him to think he should to keep our deposit when he performed no work for us. I would not recommend this business.

My husband and I got married on August 24, 2019 and could not have been happier to work with Bob Lubell. His experience in photography was shown in the time that he took with us to get the perfect shots. Also, we appreciate the time he took before our wedding to capture our first look photos. His sharp eye turned what began as a lousy, gray morning into a collection of scenic vignettes that were enhanced by the light and weather conditions. What impressed me most was his ability to take a suggested location and get the most out of it. What we got wasn't just photos, but rather the story of my daughter and her fiance-- which was what I had hoped for.

I’ve worked with Bob and Stevie for the several years. They have completed photography for our family including my son’s wedding in San Antonio, Texas. My business is wedding videography and we often work side-by-side. Every so often, I am short a videographer. Although Bob is primarily a still photographer, I can ask him to shoot video. He knows the wedding industry well and is very flexible and capable in all aspects of the wedding business. It is great wedding professionals are willing to help each other at times of need.

Bob Lubell is a great and seasoned professional photographer, who is very discerning and careful with his approach to taking pictures and is a consummate professional in every way. I selected Bob since he would be in the top tier of local photographers, in my opinion. Bob did a great job with taking pictures for my daughter's wedding on June 16th, 2018 at Schedel Gardens in Elmore, OH and we have many great memories now to share. I highly recommend him for any photographic job and especially where there is an expectation of high-quality photography. In addition, he was able to help in other ways to prepare for this wedding, as in suggestions for places for the bridal party to stay overnite near the venue and options for tenting, in case of rain and other aspects of arranging the wedding , too numerous to mention. He has a lot of useful advice to offer, based on his years of doing wedding photography and just photography in general. A lot of help that he gave me was invaluable in planning critical parts of the wedding, since this was the first wedding that I had ever planned. I have looked at Bob's work in other venues and it is always of high quality and even before I booked him to photograph this wedding, he had taken a picture of me at The Toledo Club for an event the year before that was of such good quality that I used it in a program for a local Alliance Francaise de Toledo Mardi Gras program on February 25th, 2017.

Bob photographed our wedding back in August. And he allowed me to see the beauty of the day, which was a hot day, that I wouldn’t get to see if it weren’t for him. Highly recommend!!!!

I have known Bob for a few years now and was happy he was willing to travel almost 2 hours to our wedding location. The engagement session and wedding day went well and we have some great moments that were captured.

We were extremely amazed and pleased with the photography for our son’s wedding that was accomplished by Grand Laubell Photography. I can appreciate the challenge, and amazing results, of photo documenting the ongoing change of venue. This being from the prep time to before the wedding, during the service of the Holy Sacrament of matrimony, the follow-up shots with a larger wedding party along with the family, and the more candid moments of the reception. There were no voids, Bob and his team had captured it all. The second aspect is that of the quality of the photos. They accomplished the many “traditional” poses and settings along with original and creative settings. There was an understanding of the aesthetics of the space (architecture and lighting) along with the sacramental nature of the wedding resulting in photography that brought back not just the event, but the feelings and emotions. The same effort of creativity and quality was also present in the more candid shots associated with the reception. In general, the photographic documentation was artistic and told the story of the wedding day in a beautiful way.

Bob took so many great photos of our wedding. The quality of photos is so amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Finding a good photographer was the hardest part about planning our wedding and I’m so glad we choose Bob.

We used Grand Lubell for the photo booth at our wedding and it was the best ever !! The lighting was amazing, every picture turned out great ! It was an open air booth so you could fit huge groups in which our guest had so much fun with it. Grand Lubell was extremely professional and very easy to work with. They had awesome props that were in good condition. We had got the option with the photo strips printed out for the guest and everyone loved them!! But also all the photos are available to download online after the event which I love. It was so much fun to see everyone's photos. Bob and Stevie were very easy to work with on both our engagement and wedding sessions. Bob and his new partner Mary shot our Hindu wedding and we couldn't be more pleased with the photos! Both of them took the time to get to know us as a couple well in advance of the wedding. My fiancé and I lived out of state and we didn't did skype dates with them. It says a lot to me that we weren't just a job to them; this was obviously a highly personal event and they appreciated it from day one. I think the first ingredient for amazing photos is a passionate photographer. They both are! One of the things I appreciated most about Bob was his tremendous knowledge and genuine appreciation for our Indian culture and Hindu rituals. He knew exactly what to focus on, and every special spiritual and religious detail came across in the photos. Mary had the same enthusiasm; we felt so lucky to have their positive energy adding to our day! The photos themselves all made us so happy! After attending a friend's wedding that had Grand Lubell photobooth, we knew we needed it at our reception! The photobooth is unique and our guests had never seen anything like it before. The photobooth was one of the highlights of our reception and our guests are still talking about how much fun it was (our wedding was in Sept).
