Grand Rapids Cheesecake Company

I had my cake & desserts from GR Cheesecake Company. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my cake was leaning a bit, but it tasted AMAZING! (FYI-the wedding cake was NOT cheesecake, they make regular cake too). I had guests go back for a second piece of cake! When does that ever happen?! The 5 star part of this place is the price, WAY below other vendors! And the additional desserts I had were incredible! my guests raved about the desserts! Their cheesecake bites are a gift from Heaven!

When discussing wedding cakes, my husband and I came to the conclusion that neither of us really like cake, but we both love cheesecake. When we went to the Grand Rapids Cheesecake Company for a cheesecake tasting and good lord, that was the best. We tried something in the realm of 6 or 7 different types and they were all sooooo good. We ended up deciding on Key Lime, Strawberry, and New York Style 1/2 sheets for our guests and a 6" round strawberry cheesecake for us to cut during our cake cutting. We had 100 guests and we purchased enough cheesecake for 120, which was great because every one of our guests got to choose from all three options and we had a few slices leftover to enjoy after the wedding. While mingling after dinner, we had tons of guests say how much they loved the cheesecake and how it was so much better than traditional wedding cake. On top of everything, all our cheesecakes including delivery only cost $200 (!). If that's not a deal, I don't know what is!

We ordered both regular cake & cheesecake cupcakes for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing. We received SO many compliments on them. Delicious!!!

Marcia used to have her own business (Creations by Marcia) in Holland. She is currently working out of Las Vegas Cheesecake in Grand Rapids, but still delivers to Holland. She did an awesome job on our cake. She is very friendly and her cakes taste SO good. My mom and I went for a consultation and since my fiance couldn't be there, she sent us home with a huge plate of stuff to taste test. She is so generous!! She works with you to figure out how to get the right amount of cake for your guests. Marcia does a beautiful job decorating, but it is best if you are VERY clear on what you are looking for (pictures are GREAT!). I did that and was very happy with the end result. One other hint, though - she tends to run late, so be sure to tell her to be at the venue long before you actually want her there. Overall, I couldn't have been more impressed with the decorating or flavor of the cakes, all at very reasonable rates. I would highly recommend Marcia to anyone!
