About this vendor
Grand River Hall is a wedding and event venue in Freeport, IL. Located in the historic Rawleigh building, this setting offers a blend of old-world, industrial-chic charm and modern details. Their three event spaces, multiple packages, and in-house services will help you ensure you have all you need for a successful celebration.
Grand River Hall's building was first built in the late 1800s and was carefully renovated over the years to host an array of businesses. This family-owned venue is nestled on the sixth floor and features plenty of floor space to host events with up to 300 guests. You will be welcome to host your ceremony in the Pearl Room, which features large windows, marble-style flooring, and painted brick walls to create an elegant, metropolitan atmosphere. After exchanging your vows, you and your guests can make your way to the Emerald Room, a warm, eclectic setting to dance the night away. The exposed brick makes for a stunning backdrop, while the vintage bar area makes each sip your guests take rich with style. For a memorable photo-op, the Rawleigh Rooftop is a picturesque option. The private setting offers an unobstructed view of the Freeport cityscape for you and your partner to enjoy the sunset.
Sisters and co-owners Holly and Shelly will work closely with you to help you bring your nuptial vision to life. You will be welcome to select your vendors, from caterers to DJs, to match your style. Custom bar packages are available in-house. Chairs, tables, and linens will be provided to complete your design.

We had toured a few places looking for the right fit for our wedding. When we walked in, we knew this was the place. The place is beautiful and has amazing potential for your decor...
ideas. The prices are reasonable. They have well put together pricing, contract, and vendor information. Each of the women I worked with was wonderful in their own way. My fave was Courtney. She was a refreshing “let’s get the details worked out because relaxed is beautiful on you” vibe. They partner with another woman owned business and have decor for rent available on premises. My only regret is not heeding their warning about when to stop the elevator prior to ceremony.

our/lounge area. The bridal suite was gorgeous and perfectly designed for a bride and her bridesmaids to get ready comfortably. The bathrooms were spotless and fully stocked with toiletries, which our guests appreciated. The rooftop made for breathtaking sunset photos, too!
The staff was incredible: attentive, quick to respond, positive, upbeat, and completely on top of every detail from start to finish. Cortney was AMAZING — cheerful and organized from the moment we booked through the very end of the night. I had two day-of coordinators, Rachel and Tori, they took care of and thought of everything even down to offering to grab my groom and I drinks during our reception! The bar packages were fantastic, and you easily get more than your money's worth. Truly, you will not beat the price for the level of service and beauty you get here. Grand River Hall went above and beyond in every way. Highly, highly recommend!

er convenient. They handled all the table and chair setup, and we were able to bring in our own decorations and get everything ready the day before. The staff was super easy to work with, and there were tons of great spots for photos. Having a day-of coordinator was a huge help, and we loved that we could choose our caterer. It fit our 170 guests just right. Highly recommend Grand River Hall!
