pprox. 1800 miles from Wyoming and had only been to Jackson once. My daughter and son-in-law’s dream was to get married in the Jackson Hole area with the Grand Tetons as a view, but I had no way of knowing where to start. I contacted Jeanette and she graciously gave me information and places to start considering for the task ahead. I quickly realized the need for a wedding planner and Jeanette was the perfect choice! She is extremely organized, has endless contacts, is very knowledgeable about the industry and every type of vendor you could possibly need. She arranged her schedule to be available for numerous calls with me and my daughter (who has a very unusual schedule/ catching her is like carousing a cat). Jeanette worked diligently to understand my daughter’s vision and dream and the result was amazing! Jeanette offered great thoughts, contributed wonderful ideas, and educated us on the uniqueness of weddings in Wyoming! The wedding was magical, and the guest could not comment on how perfect EVERYTHING went from start to finish! That is the best compliment a wedding planner can get! I can not think of one thing that even went the slightest bit amiss, but if it did Jeanette clearly handled it without anyone noticing (including me). Jeanette deserves all the praise for arranging and executing a spectacular night that was enjoyed by all, but most importantly, absolutely perfect for the Bride & Groom! Our wedding was at the Rendezvous Lodge at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Everyone and everything has to take the gondola to the venue, which adds a lot more logistics to an already in-depth wedding planning process. She handled everything so well! Planning a destination wedding is difficult because you are not there to see and meet with the vendors in person, Jeanette visited the venue for us and coordinated with all the vendors on when to arrive, where to park, etc. We had a time change last minute and she contacted everyone so I did not have to. On the day of the wedding, she was beyond wonderful. She coordinated everything in our vision and handled everything for the day down to the smallest details. I did not stress at all and was truly able to enjoy the day because of her. Jeanette ran to get more ice and water as she saw we may run low. Many of our guest reached out to say how impressed they were with the setup of our venue. Additionally, my wedding was intimate with 20 people and she fit in with the guests perfectly and many people loved talking and getting to know her. I could not recommend working with Jeanette more. y amazing. Prior to my wedding day she was extremely helpful with finding other vendors who she knew and trusted. Additionally, she helped keep me organized and on task as my husband and I undertook the daunting task of planning a mountain destination wedding. When we arrived at our venue prior to our wedding rehearsal, Jeanette came early and helped me organize all the decor we had lugged from Houston, TX to Victor, ID. She walked us through venue and showed us the best spots for various parts of the wedding (as we were planning from a distance it was hard to do before hand). During the rehearsal she even volunteered to officiate for us when our officiant didn't arrive on time (luckily, he was ok, and it was just an issue with the cell service and extremely/unforeseen roadwork wait times). But her willingness to take any problem and to wipe that problem away is just one of the many reasons my now husband and I absolutely adored her. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond. I gave her my decor ideas and handed off all the decor to her and she was able to use my stuff and made everything look more incredible than I could have ever imagined. If there were any issues on the day of the wedding, I still haven't heard about them. I literally just relaxed with my bridesmaids, got my hair and makeup done, when I looked out of the window, and everything was done. Which is what every bride DREAMS of for her wedding day. HIRE GRAND TETON EVENTS. You won't regret it.

of time. We found all our vendors online using help from the knot and other vendor referrals suggesting others they have worked with in the past. Our coordinator at the lodge recommended Jeanette with Grand Teton Events. After speaking with her via phone, we decided to hire her. She helped us throughout the process even though she was only hired for the "Day Of" required by the venue we chose. She allowed us to ship decorative items and additional things we could not carry on the airplane, to be stored for our wedding. With her many years of experience, she had several suggestions. the referrals to the florist and the photographer were outstanding! The coordinator is there to make your vision come alive. Ask and let them help! Read the reviews and do your homework! The upcoming months to the wedding as we planned everything out were still stressful but Jeanette helped us through it. She was only a text away and I appreciated that. Because she was somewhat familiar with the area it made things a little easier. Though there were days we felt as if "we were still doing it all ourselves" we really weren't in it alone. It was so stressful and difficult not being able to jump in the car and drive to view something in person. Doing everything via email and text can be easily miscommunicated if not careful. Wayne Canady who has had years of experience in high stress event planning, plays, musicals, ect. was able to help Jeanette master the vision of our wedding beautifully!!! He and Jeanette worked very well together. Total 5 stars for Wayne! If you hire Jeanette, spend the extra money & request Wayne as well. You won't be disappointed! The only concerns I had from the whole experience was that our lodge Coordinator (Sierra) was new and not familiar with the whole wedding venue process so she and Jeanette should have met up a few times prior to work out all the kinks and do walk thrus. Especially the bridal suite being the sub-par smelly conference room, overlooking building construction/remodeling and no where near the ceremony site or reception hall. The day before was to late to correct this problem. The rehearsal was not at all planned and prepared prior to our rehearsals, by Jeanette nor Sierra. I suggest for future brides to make sure a prior walk thru is conducted. Prior to the bridal party showing up for rehearsals. Prior walk throughs should have been done between the vendors, prior to the rehearsals, esp if your venue had a change in staff wedding coordinator. Weeks in advance at least. I (the Bride) was more stressed at the rehearsal than I was the entire 2 years of engagement and wedding planning process. One more quick note: Make sure if you are shipping items to your vendor for holding they open the boxes ahead of time to ensure nothing is broken or missing that may have been affected during the shipping process. We had a few missing pieces and items had to be taped together. No big deal though.

She was so patient with us during the whole planning process. Jeannette set a very easy timeline throughout the course of months so we could stay on track . She was so generous to use things out of her personal collection to make my daughter had the aesthetic’s she wanted for her wedding and reception. I am so relieved I only have 1 daughter to marry off, but if I had to do it again Jeannette would be the only person I’d let handle it all.

Truly took care of everything and made our special day so incredible. During a drought we never expected our wedding to happen with the most rain Teton County had seen all summer. And thanks to Jeanette, she helped make all of the necessary adjustments due to the rain. Her communication and dedication to making our wedding day go smooth with no stress was exemplary.
