Grand Traverse Event Center

The Grand Traverse Event Center was absolutely beautiful. Lindsay is so easy to work with and makes sure everything is exactly how you want it. This venue allows you to bring in your own caterer which was a huge bonus for us. This event center is an open canvas that allows you to really get creative. The pillars on each side make for a beautiful framing for a cake table or a private head table. I highly recommend having your reception here!! Did I mention it has a brand new restaurant style kitchen and bar!!! I’m so happy we chose this venue, I wouldn’t change a thing about the night!!!

My son and new daughter in law chose the GT Event Center for their wedding. It worked out perfectly. Close to downtown and motels and easily held the 120 guest that attended. We were very happy with the ambience of the Event Center. All of the guest enjoyed the evening. I would definitely recommend the GT Event Center to anyone wanting an intimate wedding reception.

The perfect place for an intimate and romantic wedding reception! The huge bar at the Event Center is beautiful. The floating shelves around the exterior of the room allowed for more candles to glow. The bartenders were friendly and on top of it! The event center has an amazing brand new commercial kitchen! All night people were out on the gorgeous wooden dance floor, hanging by the bar or even outside on the patio with white pillars. The Event Center staff were VERY flexible and worked so well with my wedding planner and I. They let us set up early and were there to help out along the way! There is nothing I would change about my husband and I's night and if anyone were to be looking for a romantic space for their wedding reception I would send them right to the Grand Traverse Event Center!
