We booked Granite Ridge for our September 2024 wedding and we could not be happier with our decision! From the very first time we saw the venue we knew nothing would compare and we were right. Gabe and Micki were communicative and accommodating leading up to the big day and allowed us to tour multiple times as we were making final decisions. Gabe was very quick to respond to emails which made the planning process much easier. When the wedding weekend was finally here everything was amazing! The Lodge and Cliff Cabin were exactly what we needed to accommodate family and have a space of our own as a couple. The barn was clean and stunning! Throughout the entire evening and the following days our guests could not stop talking about the amazing views and how it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to! We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend and highly recommend Granite Ridge to anyone looking for an incredible venue showing off the amazing views Maine has to offer!
We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful place to get married! The barn is gorgeous, the lights and chandeliers magical, and those mountain views are simply breathtaking (even in the pouring rain). Our guests are still raving about how spectacular the venue was, and we are beyond grateful to have found such a beautiful place that also allowed our families to spend the weekend together. Gabe, Micki, and the entire Granite Ridge team were so wonderful to work with throughout the entire wedding process. They were kind and courteous, quick to answer all of our questions and concerns, accommodated multiple site visits, and we could tell that they cared about our big day just as much as we did. We would recommend Granite Ridge in a heartbeat and are forever grateful that we were able to say “I do” in such a magical mountain setting.
Granite Ridge Estate was my dream wedding venue come true. We got married in July and had the best time with friends and family. The lodge and cliff cabin are gorgeous and the views can't be topped. Our friends and family told us it felt like a vacation spending our wedding weekend together at the lodge. The barn is amazing and can easily make any wedding vision you may have become a reality. Micki and Gabe are truly professionals in this field and made the planning process a breeze. Our wedding day started off beautiful, but quickly became a downpour around the ceremony start time. Micki was quick to communicate with our day of coordinator to create a plan. Although the wedding ceremony was moved inside the barn, the barn itself is so beautiful our wedding pictures are still amazing.
As the mother of the bride, it felt like our guests were being welcomed to a magical event on our private mountain ridge. The view in every direction is remarkable with a magnificent sky, mountain range and forest. The barn is beautifully rustic with elegant lighting and large windows to showcase the scenery. Micki, the owner of the property, is super friendly, and it was great to have her guidance and quick response to all our questions, but she also made us feel like we owned the entire property. It was wonderful to have the house for the long weekend and be able to gather family and friends for more time together in that gorgeous setting. I also must say the cliff cabin is amazing. My daughter worked with Gabe, the property manager, through emails and phone conversations during the year leading up to the wedding, and she appreciated how pleasant, responsive and efficient he was with all the planning.
My biggest hope prior to the wedding was for my daughter and son-in-law to have the wedding they were dreaming of. And it happened! While I was helping my daughter out of her wedding dress, she talked on and on exuberantly about how emotionally exquisite it was, how much fun it was, and how it was better than she imagined. I am elated and grateful.
Gabe and Micki were phenomenal to work with. They were consistent with communication and were invested in making sure we had the best day possible.
We were married here during hurricane Lee. There was no rain, but 70+ mph wind gusts were a challenge. Micki ensured we all had a safe environment to celebrate, and we were rewarded with the most beautiful sunset. The photo opportunities at this venue are endless, making it the perfect place to capture memories that last a life time.
The final cherry on top, is the lodge. All of our bridal party members are from out of state, so we all stayed at the lodge together. It was the perfect place for us all to get more quality time together and enjoy the beauty of the mountains of Maine. Every room in the house has a mountain view.
We could not have asked for a more supportive, attentive and courteous family to work with.
Granite Ridge gave my husband and I the fairytale wedding of our dreams! The venue alone is breathtaking - our guests have not stopped talking about it’s beauty. Outside of that, Micki and Gabe from Granite Ridge were wonderful to work with. Super kind, responsive, and helped ensure everything went off without a hitch. True professionals. I even later found out that Micki helped give my husbands grandmother a ride to the ceremony, they go above and beyond. The house on site is a huge bonus - it’s also gorgeous, allowed us to have our entire wedding party stay with us all weekend, and made it so relaxing the day of to just be able to get ready right next to the wedding! We never wanted to leave, I can’t say enough good things about Granite Ridge! We’re already eager to visit again.
We had the wedding of our dreams at Granite Ridge! From the moment we discovered GRE, we were captivated by the scenic beauty and breathtaking surroundings that the property offers. The picturesque landscapes, nestled in the heart of nature, create an enchanting backdrop for any wedding celebration.
The entire GRE team is a delight to work with! Truly some of the most thoughtful hosts and they run a well-oiled machine. Each and every request was amply accommodated and we felt free to be as creative as we wanted to have every single detail exactly to our dream. We so appreciate how they embraced and supported us to create a stunning and unique wedding!
The memories we created at GRE will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Our guests were equally in awe of the venue and the unforgettable experience it provided.
We are eternally grateful to have celebrated our wedding here and cannot recommend it highly enough!
We had our wedding in June 2023 at Granite Ridge and could not have picked a more suitable location! We are nature lovers and the views at GR are STUNNING - our guests were mesmerized by the most gorgeous sunset, and we all loved the spacious, rustic but elegant barn, the cozy lodge, the farmhouse, and the adorable cliffside cottage (although we did have to get used to the compost based toilet in the cottage!). I loved waking up at sunrise to watch the mist lift over the mountains while listening the chorus of many birds - what an experience. Gabe, Micki, and Scott were helpful, responsive, and clearly pros at hosting weddings at GR. The flowers along the path for the ceremony, as well as the birch arbor, were beautiful. Highly recommend for those looking for a place to host a 3 day affair - it is the perfect place for it! While definitely in a more remote location, there are some excellent food spots in Norway as well - surprisingly and even for city foodies like us who have tried many restaurants in NYC, SF, and Boston, we were impressed by Dolce Amici's gelato and Kindred Farms' whoopie pies and Sicilian pizza (which we served as part of our welcome party before the wedding). We have no regrets and are so thankful to the team at GR for making our wedding wishes a reality.
We had a wonderful wedding here. Pro’s and con’s based on our experience:
The barn is large, wide open, beautiful, well lit, with a glass wall overlooking distant mountains. The barn allows for lovely draping.
We did get a 20x40 ft. tent attached to the barn in spite of recommendations by the barn’s representative that we would not need one; we very much did need one! It rained just as the outdoor ceremony ended. Table of appetizers, wait staff, bar, sofas, all that had been in the tent would have otherwise to be fitted inside the barn with all the round dinner tables, dance floor, and second bar, had we not had the tent. It would have been congested, uncomfortable, and jammed without the tent.
One of the best aspects to Granite Ridge was the house up the hill from the barn. Our wedding party moved in 3 days before the wedding and stayed until the morning after the wedding. It had an outdoor fire pit, a spectacular view, a full kitchen, freezer, fireplace, and beautiful interior. We loved it. It was a three-day summer camp. It was absolutely fabulous! We were told that it sleeps 22; it really slept only 20. Also, the three bathrooms were really too few for the number of people in the house.
The outdoor location for the ceremony in the woods is charming.
Our guests stayed at the Bethel Inn & Resort in nearby Bethel, a charming resort in a charming town. The resort has a range of rooms and townhouses, 18 hole golf course, fitness center, saunas, outdoor heated pool, tennis courts, a lake with canoes, kayaks and paddleboards and very accommodating staff. I cannot understand why the person we met with at Granite Ridge recommended only the Hampton Inn and the Oxford Casino Hotel (both in Oxford) as the only options for our guests; neither is as nice as the Bethel Inn and have none of the related amenities. While they are a 6-minute shorter drive to Granite Ridge, it’s a one-time drive each way. All three are nearly the same price. It is preferable to have guests stay in this lovely inn in Bethel where there is much more to do.
The one drawback that we experienced with Granite Ridge related to the rain and the driveway up to the barn. There’s no lighting or markers on the long driveway up to Granite Ridge. When it rained hard, the buses we hired couldn’t see the edge of the road. One drove off the road into a ditch, unable to get out, so that instead of three buses to bring our guests back to Bethel, we had only two after that. Another bus, because the driveway by the barn is so tight and poorly lit, had to do many Y-turns to turn around in the driveway and backed into a tree (due to rain and the lack of lighting), breaking four windows. Granite Ridge initially recommended using school buses to transport guests; given how dressed up people get for weddings, we didn’t want to have them in unceremonious school buses with no lavatories so we rented really nice motor coaches. The Granite Ridge driveway at the top can’t accommodate anything larger than school buses; there is no parking for the guests’ cars so buses are a necessity. We ended up having to end the wedding early. The owner of the property did heroic work transporting our guests in groups of three in her jeep down the hill to the buses waiting on the paved road (unsafe to have them come up the driveway anymore). Fortunately, the wedding went so well that our guests weren’t bothered by this. We still can strongly recommend Granite Ridge as a lovely wedding venue.
Beautiful venue, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to get married! The estate house was beautiful and accommodated our bridal party and us easily. Going up to enjoy the venue Thursday and Friday before the wedding Saturday really made this feel like an escape before the big day. LOVE that there is only one wedding a week, so no one is on your heels at the same location. Highly recommend as a top barn wedding spot! Guests were blown away. Micky and Gabe were great to work with and very responsive!
Beautiful spot for a wedding. The view from the barn is spectacular, especially at sunset!
Beautiful mountain resort includes the barn where the reception is held, a ceremony knoll, and an estate house that can sleep your normal size bridal party. Owners are very responsive to your questions and try to meet your every need. I can not think of a better place to plan to get married and celebrate the new couple's love!!!!!!!
Gabe, Micki, and all of the team from Granite Ridge have created the absolute perfect wedding venue. We had the entire estate from Thursday to Sunday, and the on-site lodge allowed us to house our entire bridal party and their significant others for the entire weekend. The wooded ceremony site is intimate and surrounded by luscious greenery, white the cocktail area space outside of the barn offers expansive views of the mountains. We held our reception inside of the gorgeous barn adorned with string lights and chandeliers, and the massive wall of windows carries the views of cocktail hour inside. On a hot summer day the barn stayed cool and air conditioned, and it was plenty large enough for our 110 guests to be seated comfortably. Besides the beauty of the venue itself, the whole planning experience was made easy by Gabe’s expertise and responsiveness. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience getting married at Granite Ridge. It truly was a once in a lifetime day.
My son and his fiancé had their wedding planned here for August 2020 and were caught in the Covid-19 crosshairs. They had booked and paid their deposit months earlier. When the Governor mandated gathering rules, Granite Ridge could not accommodate their wedding plans. The problem resulted when the owners refused return any of their deposit. They decided it was good for business to keep the thousands that had been trusted to them. When a solution was being negotiated unrealistic offers were made by the owners that primarily benefitted them only. They would not return a penny of the deposit. The financial hit taken by this young couple starting out was devastating.
Cannot even find the words to say how amazing of an experience we had at Granite Ridge. First, Micki is a doll and a gigantic asset to the Granite Ridge team (so much so that we invited her to the reception!) Everyone was so accommodating and understanding, allowing us to have a small COVID safe ceremony and then return for the reception eight months later. The barn is gorgeous and the lodge is so well appointed and comfortable...it's stocked with anything you could ever need! It makes for an easy and relaxed experience to be able to stay with family and friends right at the venue. The views are priceless, too! Having been twice, definitely shoot for the fall... the foliage is breathtaking. 10/10 would recommend!
If not booking Granite Ridge for the incredible hospitality and knowledge of their entire staff, the stunning views from the barn, the enormous cozy house on the property with the amenities of your dreams, or the welcoming nature of Micki and Gabe who make you feel right at home, then book this place for Winston- the 5 month old English bull dog puppy who roams the property and who almost made it home with me in my bag. In all seriousness, Granite Ridge was the obvious choice for us the second we stepped foot onto the property. Micki welcomed us into the barn with open arms, showed us the incredible venue space with cafe lighting and chandeliers, the breathtaking views over the mountains, and the beautiful home situated steps away from the barn for our family to stay in. It was such a treat to have a whole wedding weekend to celebrate, rather than just one night with our friends and family. They helped us coordinate all of our vendors and gave outstanding recommendations that made our wedding a night everyone will remember. I am so grateful for them, and wish we could do it all a thousand times over just to spend more time on the mountain. The best decision you’ll ever make is getting married here, I promise you that.
One of a kind venue. Micky, Gabe, and their team did an exceptional job. The venue itself is breathtaking and our pictures looked amazing. This venue popular so I would recommend booking sooner rather than later.
We had my sons wedding at Granite Ridge Estate on October 3rd - although much of the planning changed due to Covid my son and daughter-in-law insisted on still getting married at Granite Ridge even though the wedding was much smaller than originally planned. Everyone who came to the wedding was in aww of the beautiful views especially at peak leaf season. It was such a great venue and we stayed there for 4 days and had time to decorate and enjoy the property all weekend. We even had the rehearsal dinner there which was amazing since we had a double rainbow the night of rehearsal dinner. The huge stone fireplace in the house was perfect for a fall night and the fire pit and hot tub was used every night. The Cliff Cabin for the bride and groom is beautifully decorated and has stunning views - your jaw will drop the first time you see this venue - my daughter-in-law cried when she walked into the barn because it was her dream venue, and we signed the contract immediately. Never even visited another venue - this was the ONE! Thank you Micki and Gabe and all the staff at Granite Ridge for the great memories!!!
Granite Ridge is astonishingly beautiful!! We just got married there a few months ago and our guests continue to tell us how amazing the venue is! The mountain views are incredible and make for the most beautiful photos. The barn is spectacular with that magnificent wall of windows overlooking the mountains. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to get married! Having the venue from Thursday through Sunday made our wedding not just a few hours but a whole weekend of joy and celebration. It allowed us to set up ahead of time and truly just enjoy the day of the wedding without worrying about any of the small details. This is definitely the right way to have a wedding! Not only is the venue gorgeous and the weekend experience relaxing, but the Fratianne/DiSaverio family really makes this venue that much more magical! Micki and Gabe were so welcoming, helpful, and always there for whatever we needed. They have such a kind family that truly cares to make your wedding as special as it should be! We cannot recommend Granite Ridge highly enough! If the breathtaking views aren't enough to convince you to book Granite Ridge right away, then the wedding weekend experience and amazing family hosts certainly will help to win you over!
Granite Ridge was an absolute dream! All of our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. A beautiful venue especially in October and with the most incredible views. We feel so incredibly lucky to have worked with Gabe and Micki as well. They were so kind, helpful and very communicative. It was an absolutely perfect day. Thank you Gabe and Micki for everything! We will forever be grateful to have been a Granite Ridge Couple.
Words can’t describe how amazing Granite Ridge and the whole team is to work with. Stephanie and I were married on 10-5-2019; we were the 100th wedding.
We live in RI, but love Maine so much and knew we needed to be married someplace that fit us. I started searching locations that were either very rustic, working farms, fun barns with personality to unique locations. This is when I can across Granite Ridge.
The day we first went to look at the venue, we arrived in Norway a bit early and decided to take a walk around. Miki soon arrived and took us up to her property. From the moment we met her she had a personality that made us feel comfortable. She brought us to the barn first and before we could even get out of her car, Steph was determined this was the place for us to be married. Walking into the barn, the view of the mountains just takes you over. It is a very simple barn, but the chandeliers make it feel so special. We took a walk down to the ceremony space and knew this was where we wanted to say I DO. We loved the intimate feel of the space encapsulated by the woods.
Miki took us to the estate house, and wow is all I have to say. During our weekend stay we utilized all that the house had to offer. From the hot tub to the amazing wood grill they have. We sat in front of the fireplace from morning to night laughing, having a great time. Waking up to my wife the morning after our wedding with views of the clouds still below the mountains with speckles of red, yellow and orange trees was something I will never forget.
The whole time working with Gabe was amazing; I cannot speak more highly of him. He listened and answered any questions we had quickly. It was great getting to learn about his hot sauce company, The Spicy Shark. The Reaper one will make anyone happy who loves spicy things.
From the views to the hospitality, Granite Ridge is a one of a kind venue that any couple will fall in love with.
Our experience with Granite Ridge was amazing. As soon as we visited two years ago, we knew it was the venue for us. The views are spectacular, and absolutely breathtaking out the large windows in the barn. On top of that, Micki, Gabe, and Jill instantly make you feel like family. They are so warm and welcoming, and they’re there for anything you may need throughout the planning process. The barn itself is stunning and has bathrooms, heat, and AC which are nearly impossible to find in a rustic venue. Our favorite part about GR was having the property to ourselves Thursday - Sunday. It felt like a getaway instead of just a one day event. Getting up there earlier in the week and relaxing before the big day, then having all day Sunday to enjoy and decompress was amazing. Every other venue we looked at could have a wedding the same MORNING of our wedding day. Here, it’s all yours for four whole days. Worth every penny - I cannot imagine getting married any other way. We hope to visit once a year because it was such a great experience.
Words cannot describe how incredible Granite Ridge and the whole team are! We had a truly perfect wedding and cannot thank you enough.
Gabe and Micki go above and beyond in every way. During the planning process, they answered endless questions and helped us assemble the perfect vendor team that made our unique dreams a reality. The weekend of our wedding, the GR team thought of every detail--there were bobby pins and makeup remover in the bathroom, the fire pit was ready to go for our fun family BBQ Thursday night, and the AC was already blasting in the barn. We loved spending the full weekend up in the mountains with our family. On the day of, the team helped make sure everything went perfectly.
It goes without saying, but the barn itself is also stunning. The views are other worldly and the light comes through the giant windows in the perfect way during sunset. There is also a great AC and bathrooms--something most barns don't have. Additionally, the wooded ceremony site stays the perfect temperature. No venue compares!
Thank you and we cannot wait to visit sometime in the future!
Granite Ridge Estate & Barn was beyond what we dreamed of for our Rustic Elegant themed wedding. My husband and I were just married there on May 18th and could not have been happier with the venue and the support from Micki and Gabe (the owners). They were so hands on with helping us plan, keeping us on task, and there 24/7 while we arrived.
When originally picking our venue, we did not plan to travel more than 1-2 hours outside of Boston, but our wedding planner (Caitlyn Ward of CW Events & Design) knew of Granite Ridge and suggested we visit the property. There was no other venue to look at after that. Spending time with some of our friends staying at the Estate with us made the days leading up to the wedding very special. We also took advantage of renting their other properties (Farmhouse for the Groomsmen and their downtown apartments for some of our vendors). They also have an amazing preferred vendor list (Fire & Co., Affordable Events, Winey Baker). The owners let us host our welcome party at the Farmhouse, which gave our guests a preview of what was to come. Our guests were all wondering why we had them traveling so far from home for our wedding and the day of they were all in awe of the venue, view, and decor.
*Venue is picturesque and one of a kind
*Owners are hands on and treat you like family
Thank you Micki and Gabe for everything!!!!
-Kayla & Matt
Granite Ridge was a dream come true! Mickey and Gabe treated us like family and help us with our every need. I couldn't have been more happier with the house and venue. Being in the house with our bridal party was wonderful because we were able to make memories even before the wedding day! The morning of the wedding I was even able to have a yoga class outside with my bridal party. I loved that the house was right next to venue. My husband and I were able to sneak away from the reception for a few moments be with our dog. And also take a moment to reflect on our perfect day:) The barn was so easy to decorate because it was already so beautiful inside. The pictures that we have gotten back already from the photographer of the mountain views and sunset was just the perfect back drop. I wish I could give Granite Ridge Estate ten stars because they were just so FABULOUS!
Granite Ridge was the wedding venue of my dreams. The breathtaking view and laid back, rustic, atmosphere was exactly what my fiance and I were looking for. From visiting the venue initially with Micky to coordinating transportation details with Gabe, the team made it work! And on the day of the wedding, Jill was eager to jump in and make sure things ran smooth. Everyone was always prompt with replies to my millions of questions and made me feel like I was their only bride of the year. Aside from the amazingly goegeous barn, the estate was equally as beautiful and served as a great spot for our casual rehearsal dinner! With enough space for immediate family to sleep, I loved having the luxury of all spending the last few days before the wedding together. (Mickey even made sure the estate was stocked with our own grocery list of items!). There was endless flexibility with the timeline of day of events and the team was willing to make what we wanted, happen. I couldn’t have asked for anything more of a venue and David and I definitely wouldn’t change a thing about our day!
We had our wedding at the end of August and it couldn’t of been a more perfect weekend. From the weather to the venue to the celebration everything went off without a hitch! The crew at Granite Ridge is more than accommodating and helpful, they make you feel at home. We couldn’t of ask for a more amazing weekend, highly highly recommend Granite Ridge!!
Granite Ridge was everything and more, it's the most amazing gorgeous setting to get married. Gabe, Micki, Jill & the team at Granite Ridge continuously went above and beyond to make our day the absolute perfection it was. If you've been lucky enough in your planning to discover this place exists - book it, you won't regret it for a second!
We had our wedding at Granite Ridge this past July and the whole weekend was an absolute dream. When we first starting looking for a venue, our focus was on finding a place where our friends and family could retreat for the entire weekend. Right when we arrived at Granite Ridge, we knew that it was the perfect spot for us. We were able to have our relatives who traveled from out of state come up to the house Thursday and Friday which made the whole weekend feel like a mini-vacation and gave us more time to spend together. It also gave us more time to get on the dance floor with our guests since we had connected with most people in the days before the wedding!
Both Gabe and Micki were both AWESOME to work with. They truly had your best interest in mind throughout the whole planning process and were always there when you had a question or concern! They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home from the start. Being able to use them as a resource over the course of the planning process was a huge help in finding other vendors and making important decisions. The house and barn themselves did not disappoint, living up to our grandest expectations. Everything about Granite Ridge was perfect and allowed us have the wedding weekend that we had hoped for.
BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL VIEW BEYOND WORDS, EXQUISITE BARN, AMAZING TEAM!
Our daughter and son in law were married at Granite Ridge in July, 2018 and it was the perfect venue for creating the wedding of their dreams! The wedding site nestled in the trees, had a lovely feeling of Maine's Mother's Nature at it's best.
The barn is gorgeous and the view is something you have to see to fully understand it's magnificence. 165 people attended the wedding and the barn was an ideal size to accommodate the dinner reception and dancing. Since it was a summer wedding we were thrilled they had added a new air conditioning system that was very efficient for our large crowd and it kept us cool even through dinner, sunset, and hours of dancing.
Our bride and groom had a large wedding party who enjoyed the fabulous Granite Ridge home, which has a great layout, a huge kitchen, a hot tub, is spacious and cozy, ... and it enjoys the same spectacular view as the barn. In addition, we were also able to rent a recently added property about a mile away called "The Farm House" for the balance of the large wedding party. It is another beautiful home with a dynamite kitchen and the grounds around the farmhouse have such charm, our daughter elected to have her first look at this location. The photos from this venue are amazing as well as those from Granite Ridge.
Micky and Gabe were a dream to work with! They replied quickly to all our questions and they gave their very best throughout the planning and orchestration of our event. We appreciate all they did to help our Bride and Groom enjoy every minute of their experience!
We highly recommend Granite Ridge as a super romantic venue, with a spectacular view for weddings and other large events.
Having my wedding at Granite Ridge Estate was an absolute fairy tale! The entire Granite Ridge team is extremely helpful during the months leading up to the wedding, the week of, and most importantly the day of! You could tell they knew exactly what to do--how to open the barn doors to present you, dimming the chandeliers in the evening, wiping the rain off the windows, and making my "Plan B" rain plan happen without me even noticing! Not to mention the rain plan of having the ceremony in the barn surpassed my expectations of having the ceremony in the original wooded site--it was absolutely GORGEOUS! Brides, if you're thinking of having your wedding here--seriously consider having the ceremony in the barn. It was stunning with the mountains in the background and sun shining through the windows, it was all that my guests could talk about!
Also, getting to stay in a luxurious home from Thursday-Sunday made this venue all the more exciting. All of my family had a chance to relax and catch up for the entire weekend. Not to mention it made me relax more knowing that I could begin setting up the barn days before the wedding! We even had the rehearsal dinner brought to the house because we couldn't get away from the view!
If you're looking for phenomenal a venue with an amazing staff--make an appointment to go visit--that was all it took for us to grab that date! :)
Wow.. where do I begin! My self and my now husband just got married there last weekend. Such an incredible spot to have a wedding. Not only is the view amazing but the barn and it’s gorgeous chandeliers just truly make your wedding feel like a fairy tale. Myself and the wedding party stayed at the house on site and it was so relaxing to have the luxury of a house over looking the mountains rather than a hotel room. The Granite Ridge makes your wedding a wedding weekend rather than just one day! Having the facility for Thursday thru Sunday allowed us to get settled before the wedding festivities. I think this is so important as a wedding can be stressful and having that extra time allows you to relax and enjoy every moment of your special day. The Granite Ridge is also a family run business which was very impressive! Each family member plays a role in making sure your wedding and experience at the Granite Ridge is everything you hoped for and more! They were so accommodating I don’t even know where to begin! Big thank you to Mickey and her team for wonderful wedding experience!!!
Granite Ridge is such an amazing venue! You can’t beat the views and the elegance of the barn and the lodge. All the guests commented on what a beautiful and unique venue it was, upon arriving at the barn they all understood why we had them travel from New York all the way to Maine. The Fratianne family was such a pleasure to work with as well! We had a great experience and would highly recommend Granite Ridge!
If you love the idea of having a barn wedding in Maine, you MUST go look at Granite Ridge. I saw a few others and researched many more, and NOTHING compared to Granite Ridge once seeing it in person. We had the most amazing weekend weekend there - the lodge to stay in is awesome and such a fun way to lead up to the wedding day. The outdoor ceremony space is perfect, the barn itself is gorgeous, and of course, the main attraction, the view is unbeatable. Everyone who attended our wedding said that it was one of the best they have ever been to. Micki is so helpful throughout the whole process and she was easily accessible the whole weekend we were there. Yes, it's pricey, yes, you have to hire a whole team of vendors for everything, but it is so so worth it. Thank you GR for the best experience! We wish we could come back and do it all over again! - Andrea and Evan <3
Greg and I cannot express how much we loved Granite Ridge Estate and their team! First off, the views are beyond breathtaking. If you're looking for a venue a little more remote and quiet with a view, this is your spot. My guests could not stop raving about the venue. Micki and Jill were beyond nice, supportive, and helpful. They are professional yet extremely welcoming. They accomodated any needs- especially setting up the ceremony, taking care of transportation, and even feeding and taking out my pup. The lodge is also amazing, it is so convenient and having access to a filled pantry is great. I was sad to have the weekend end. I would highly recommend anyone to get married at Granite Ridge in a heartbeat.
With love,
Monica and Greg
I literally could not imagine a better place for a wedding. The views are completely stunning. The lodge is completely amazing and comfortable and the perfect place to spend the weekend with your loved ones. We did not want for anything while we stayed there. And it is so amazing that you get the whole estate to yourselves for the whole weekend, rather than the venue owners being preoccupied with other events happening during the same weekend. Mickey, the owner, is totally amazing and working accommodating requests and making recommendations and was really helpful to have around on the wedding day. And what can I say about the barn except that it is totally stunning? Go see it for yourself - it will surpass your expectations. Granite Ridge was the perfect setting for a fairy tale wedding and I cannot imagine having been married anywhere else.
Michelle and the rest of the group at Granite Ridge made our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. Not only did we get the most breathtaking venue I'd seen when we booked with them, but we also got a great group of people that helped make our special day run seamless despite the hiccups that came up during the day. We can't thank Michelle and team enough for everything they did to help us problem solve through out the weekend, taking many worries off our plate and allowing us to enjoy our time. And we can't say enough about the barn, estate house and view itself, which provide an absolutely elegant and charming place to get married and celebrate with your family and friends. It really was the most beautiful spot in Maine to get married and we'll never forget how special it made this event for us!
When we picked Granite Ridge Estate as our venue, we were picking it based on the beautiful views and barn. The most beautiful thing about this place isn't the mountains, lodge, or barn (although all are gorgeous). It's the Fratianne family. From our family to yours, we want to thank you for an unforgettable weekend and the amount of love and dedication you put in to making our experience something we'll never forget.
This was the BEST wedding venue we could have ever hoped for. The barn, the lodge house and the grounds provided the perfect foundation to welcome our guests, create an incredible ceremony and get our boogie on! Jill and her staff were so helpful with every step of our planning and set-up. It doesn't get better than Granite Ridge for a beautiful & joyful event.
We got married at Granite Ridge on 10/17/15. Our wedding was large, with 210 guests. The barn was beautiful, and everyone fit in the barn with room to dance. The barn is breathtaking, but the best part of Granite Ridge is the staff. They are fantastic, and they personalize every wedding with incredible attention to detail. I could not be happier with the way our wedding day turned out. It was beautiful, the staff was supportive, and the entire event ran so smoothly. We booked with them before the barn was built, but one meeting and we knew we trusted them with our wedding day. Needless to say, the estate and the barn are FANTASTIC, and the staff is AMAZING. There is no prettier place in Maine to have a wedding. We are anxiously awaiting photos!
We had our perfect wedding day on 10/11/15 at Granite Ridge Estate - guest count of about 170 along with a live, 9 piece band still gave us a comfortable fit in the barn. From Day 1, the entire Granite Ridge family was a part of our special day, making sure we had everything we needed to make our wedding dreams come true. The exclusive vendors are top-notch and made the day as fabulous as it was. We took full advantage of the estate with family gatherings and staying there throughout our wedding weekend. It's the perfect venue with the most accommodating people! We had over half our guests come from New Jersey/New York and they were in awe of Granite Ridge. Couldn't have asked for more and wouldn't have changed a thing!
The staff at Granite Ridge made our wedding day absolutely phenomenal. From the gorgeous lodge to the spacious barn, it is truly a spectacular venue for those seeking that country glam. Michelle was truly amazing throughout the entire planning process and made sure everything was perfect day of. All of our guests were amazed by the views and continue to rave about how gorgeous the place was. Thank you Granite Ridge for making our day absolutely perfect!
Granite Ridge and their amazing director Melanie provided the most unbelievable wedding experience coupled with their partner vendors. The most special day in my life was truly just that, thanks to Granite Ridge. The lodge accommodations and jaw-dropping barn with its views were amazing. I honestly felt like I was part of the Fratianne family while there. Their warm and endearing venue and nature made everything about our choice worth it. It is with pleasure and my highest regard that I recommend this venue to anyone looking for a top-notch wedding spot or any event for that matter. Thanks guys.
