We hired Grant Hemond and Associates for our February wedding of about 60 people. We had a mixed crowd of about half older family members, and half younger friends, and our assigned DJ, Jason, was amazing at finding a good mix that suited everyone! We were worried initially that we would have a hard time getting older family members to dance, however, even our grandparents were having a great time all night! When booking, Michelle was very responsive and accommodating to our needs! She always answered emails within days at most, and checked up on us between booking and the event. With some vendors, it can cause a little stress when you don't hear from them for months at a time, especially with a high-pressure day like a wedding. However, the lovely people at Grant Hemond and Associates made sure to keep in touch, which definitely helped ease our anxiety! Sometimes, when booking vendors, you can start to question if "what you pay for is what you get." I can solidly say that this was NOT the case with Grant Hemond. One of the reasons we pursued them as a vendor was because they were actually affordable with their offerings, and their add-ons were a good price as well! The owner, Michelle, was happy to work with us on pricing for up-lighting our venue, and I could not be happier with the result! My husband and I had a couple of requests as far as specific versions of songs that we wanted played, and Jason did amazing at making sure the correct version was played on the day! His overall demeanor and attention to detail really made the day so smooth and fun for all our guests. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable, affordable, and professional DJ service, I would recommend Grant Hemond every time!

We had our wedding at Bakers Ranch, and they paired us with Grant Hemond—and we couldn’t have been happier with the selection! We had the pleasure of working with Tom, who was absolutely fantastic. He set up a call with us a week or two before the big day to go over our song selections and expectations. Tom is so nice and he helped make the process super stress-free. We gave him a list of songs we picked out and trusted him to fill in the rest! He handled requests seamlessly throughout the reception, keeping the energy high and the dance floor full. We had the best experience with Grant Hemond and DJ Jason. The team at Grant Hemond were very responsive when reaching out to companies for quotes. They checked in and asked our needs without being pushy. We used them for both DJ and photo booth. Leading up to the wedding, Jason was helpful in guiding when music was needed. The music on the day of was perfect. The Photo Booth was very popular as well. We provided a guest book and asked photos from the Photo Booth to be included. The attendant helped guide our guests to tape their picture when signing the book. I recommend them 1000%!

A wedding DJ was one of the more difficult decisions we had to make. We like electronic dance music. We wanted a DJ who would play what we like while still playing music everyone would enjoy. Grand Hemond and Associates connected us with DJ Adam Hensleigh. We had a call to discuss our vision and Adam made us feel confident he could deliver. We provided him with multiple playlists for our day (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing) so he got an idea of what we liked. He exceeded our expectations! He provided a great mix of classic songs remixed with dance music. He had all our guests dancing!

Grant Hemond & Associates were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were very easy to work with and were extremely accommodating. Due to hurricane Helene our original wedding date and location were changed, but our DJ Jason made sure our wedding day went exactly as planned and truly took so much stress off our plate. Jason was very professional, kind, and prepared. He kept guests on the dance floor all night. I cannot thank GHA and our DJ Jason enough for their services. I would highly recommend GHA!

Our DJ, James, was excellent. We gave him the freedom of picking the music he thought matched the vibes of the wedding at that moment and he kept the party going. Our dance floor was full the entire night and everyone enjoyed the music choices. He really helped make sure our night was fun for all!

We used Ben Daniele from Grant Hemond and he was amazing. Our dance floor was boppin’ with tons of guests dancing for the entirety of our reception, which was exactly what we wanted. Ben has an energy that cannot even be explained - he is one of the most positive people we have ever met, and we are so grateful that he was a part of our wedding experience. We can’t imagine hiring anyone else—he made our wedding day an unforgettable experience, and we’re so grateful we chose him. If you want a DJ who can create a fun, unique vibe and make sure everyone has the time of their lives, Jason is the one to book!

This company had the best professionalism and always responded very quickly. After I mentioned what I was looking for in a DJ, they matched me with Adam. He was the BEST! It was crucial to me that my DJ was going to be able to provide a great atmosphere for my parent's family + friends as well as all of my friends from the younger generation. He nailed it! I have had countless people mention to me after the wedding how great of a job he did catering to everyone. I had zero stress because from the moment I talked to Adam on the phone, I knew he was going to be great. Nothing but great things to say! Ask for Adam Hensleigh!

GHA came at the recommendation of our wedding coordinator and they were fantastic. We had Jason Talley as our DJ at the Powel Crosley Estate and he did amazing!! GHA is super easy to work with and are very transparent about all of the options you can have. We requested Jason specifically and he absolutely killed it. Really hit the nail on the head for the type of music and vibe we were hoping for, played all of our must-plays and all of our guests raved about how fun the music was all night. Jason really made the night stress free for us -- the ceremony went perfectly, music sounded great and could be heard from all over the estate, the uplighting on the estate that we requested looked awesome, and Jason was super nimble taking requests from us and our guests (he asked ahead of time if requests were ok and we said yes). 10/10 would recommend GHA and Jason specifically!!!

DJ CALEB WAS AMAZING!!! He seriously listened to our vision, our likes, and dislikes and made a spectacular playlist!! We have been getting SO many compliments on the music. We loved working with Caleb and would definitely recommend him for your next event! Overall, Grant Hemond was easy to work with and they paired us with a DJ that would match our taste/style. They nailed it! A DJ can make or break a wedding, so if you’re undecided, I highly recommend this company!

ERIC WAS CRUSHING THE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG!! He had all our guests on the dance floor all night long from the first song to the absolute last. He was flawless with his introductions and timeline. He really gave us his trust and made us confident in him when he called us leading up to the wedding to talk music! We chose Grant Hemond because everyone we mentioned needing a dj they would rave good things about them. So we gave them an inquire and from there they were great to work with! Eric delivered way better than we expected. They say the dj is what makes a wedding, and what people remember, and we can now see why! We both aren’t dancers, yet we woke with the most sore legs because we were on our feet allll night long. We had the most fun in our entire life. And we are so thankful for Eric for helping make our day special. Our guest are still reaching out telling us how much fun they had and are wedding was almost a week ago! We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with James King! Our wedding day was SUCH a blast, and we're not the only ones who think so - so many people have told us that our wedding was the most fun one they had ever been to, and James is largely to thank for that! James called us about a week before our wedding to talk about our vision and he understood it perfectly. He was also such a pro emcee and orchestrated the timing and the flow of our reception flawlessly. Everything about the night was fantastic, and we are so grateful for the part James played in that. 12/10! We cannot say enough good things about Aaron. He was so prepared and communicative! He read the vibe of the party the whole time and played perfect music accordingly. He was able to help so much with the flow of the night when it came to announcements as well. He also had the most wonderful attitude and demeanor. I would hire him for literally any event. He made sure to play every one of our “must play” songs and some how played them at just the right times. Thank you Aaron for making our day so special!

Grant Hemond was a preferred vendor of our venue and they came highly recommended. I reached out and they were very kind in working with us to ensure we would have the experience we were looking for at a budget-friendly price. Our DJ, Jeff, reached out about a week before the wedding and worked with us to create the perfect playlist. He walked us through a timeline and ensured every detail we wanted included was accounted for. On our wedding, he was wonderful. Very professional, approachable and had a knack for getting people on the dance floor. He was unassuming, yet kept us on track as far as our timeline went, and when we changed things up a bit towards the end of the night, he didn’t skip a beat! I would highly recommend him for any event.

Steve was our assigned DJ from Grant Hemond at our wedding on 2/17/2024 and we can't recommend him, and the rest of the Grant Hemond team, enough. Jaime was our main point of contact throughout the planning process, and she was always responsive, organized, and thorough in answering all of my questions. We made several changes (adding uplighting, adding extra AV equipment for the ceremony) and she handled all of these changes promptly and efficiently. Our assigned DJ was Steve Lange, and he was phenomenal. We were impressed by his friendliness, organization, and genuine excitement to be a part of our special day. At the reception, Steve did an amazing job and packed the dance floor the entire night! Grant Hemond and Steve Lange exceeded our expectations for our wedding day, and we truly can't recommend them enough!!

Jason Tally was nothing short of phenomenal as our wedding DJ. From the moment we first connected with Jason, he demonstrated a genuine enthusiasm for making our wedding day unforgettable. He took the time to listen to our preferences and meticulously curated a playlist that perfectly reflected our tastes. Every song we listed as a favorite found its way onto the dance floor. Jason was also an exceptional emcee, bringing such an infectious energy to our wedding! Also, the songs Jason picked out for the fireworks were phenomenal!! We felt like we were in a movie! We loved working with Jason and would highly recommend DJ Grant Hemmond!!

Rafael from Grant Hemond was the BEST! He was the DJ for our wedding in January 2024. I've been to weddings in the past where the music doesn't match the mood of the group and it can really impact the "vibe" of the reception, so trusting a DJ was very important to us. Rafael took the time to speak with us beforehand about what we wanted during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and NAILED IT! The music perfectly matched what we wanted and he knocked it out of the park with his energy, professionalism, and attitude. I definitely recommend Grant Hemond and Rafael, specifically.

From start to finish, Grant Hemond & Associates were top notch. Having interviewed about 8 DJ companies, they not only provide over the top service but are also fairly priced. The front office staff (Jaime is who we talked to) were very knowledgeable and answered all of my general questions. After that, they pair the couple up with DJs that fit the style of their wedding music. We talked to DJ Rafael and immediately knew he was for us! DJ Rafael spent a lot of time with us on the phone to talk about our vision for the music for the reception. He had a questionnaire form for us to fill out online with all the major details such as names and spelling of bride, groom, wedding party, location of all events, music choices for specific dances [son/mom dance, first dance, cake cutting song, last song of the night, etc.]. He also did a run-through of his Emcee-ing voice and described the entire night. It is very important to hire a wedding DJ, not a random DJ. I learned this through the 10-12 companies that I talked to. But Grant Hemond & Associates knows what they are doing and have an amazing talent pool to give a bride & groom everything they need! We are from Chicago [and had our FL destination wedding] so house music was a must for our reception. DJ Rafael delivered for us big time! He was on time the day of the wedding, provided the speaker & microphone for our officiant at the ceremony, speaker and music for the outdoor terrace cocktail hour, and reception music for our 3 hour reception. He also set up the up-lighting and did a fantastic job. Right before the reception started, he re-confirmed the pronunciation of everyone who was in the wedding party and made sure things were all ready to go. Our guests still compliment us on the wedding music. And in terms of payment, 30% down payment to the office and then the day of the wedding you pay the DJ the 70% balance directly. Arrange that payment type in advance so you have nothing to worry about. With digital options like Venmo, you don't have to worry about carrying around a cash or check. I would 100% recommend Grant Hemond & Associates for ANY one that needs a wedding DJ. We would chose them all over again!

Grant Hemond was an absolute pleasure to work with. They have reasonable pricing and great communication, especially important for us being out of town. Tom DeLisa was our DJ and he was incredible. He took the time to really listen and understand to the vibe we were going for. Music was the most important aspect to the wedding for us, it can make or break a wedding. Tom went with the flow and made sure all our requests were made. Songs transitioned well during the open dance floor and he had the hint when the crowd wasn’t feeling it. We also rented a Photo Booth through Grant Hemond. They personalized the print outs to what we wanted and handed them out to guests. They also had fun props!

Jason Tally from Grant Hemond was so enthusiastic and the perfect DJ for our 160 person wedding. He was super flexible and ensured we heard every song we wanted to. We were even able to add on ceremony music after we had booked. He handled all the logistics so we didn't have to think about a thing like looping the bridal party processional song since the one we picked was too short, MC-ing travel announcements for our guests during dinner, and keeping the dance floor packed all night. So packed, people were dancing on the carpet around it and still having a blast. He made sure we heard our favorites all night, including playing music from smaller musicians who are our friends and family during dinner to surprise them. He had a great pulse on the vibe of the guests during the reception and our friends and family loved him. Would not have been the same without him!

Jason was the best DJ we could have asked for. He was great to work with. Made sure everything ran perfectly, kept the schedule and flow of the night right on time, and kept the party going the whole evening. He took care of making sure all the mics and music were perfect for the ceremony, that we had music the whole cocktail, and rest of the evening. The up lighting provided was amazing too and when the party started, the lights matched the music. Grant Hemond and Assoc had the best pricing of all the places I looked for, was so so easy to book and super quick to respond to any changes or requests I had. I would 1000% recommend booking with them and especially having Jason Tally as your DJ for your big day!

Tom Delisa was the best wedding DJ ever! He took into account all of our requests and made the perfect playlist that went with the vibe of the night. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the DJ was and how amazing the music selection was. I highly recommend Grand Hemond and Associates.

Jody was our DJ at our wedding at the Sunken Gardens in April, and he was so, so great! From our first phone call with him to the check-in ahead of the wedding, he was very kind and stressed that he was there for us. He fit in our many song requests and made sure that all of our song selections were played at the right time for our entrance, first dance, cake cutting, etc. It was so perfect and we would highly recommend Jody!!! We did also add on the photo booth services, which were a hit. People loved being able to pop over and take photos with friends and family. Some of the props seemed to have had a lot of prior use, but they were still fun to have. If you want a printed copy of each strip, be sure to ask ahead of time! But you can get also get a digital copy of the files, which their team sent over to me very promptly.

We hired Jason from Grant Hemond Associates for our wedding on 3/25 and he was amazing!! He was so thorough and helped us through any questions that we had about music genres. He had a great feel for who was on the dance floor and what type of music to play. He also really helped lead us through the different parts of the night with announcements and directions. On top of all that, he is the kindest human with the most uplifting attitude! Definitely recommend going with Jason for your wedding.

Craig was an amazing DJ!! We had a phone call a few weeks before the wedding to go over preferred music and to make sure we were all on the same page. Craig was able to provide SO MANY song recommendations and was able to fill in gaps based on my preferences. The day of the wedding, Craig came up to my husband and I multiple times to make sure we were enjoying the music and to ask if we had any personal requests. Grant Hemond & Associates was the DJ for my parents wedding over 25 years ago and they were still the obvious choice for mine!

Oh my gosh did we love James from Grant Hemond!!!! He was absolutely amazing and did every thing possible to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. The dance floor was full all night, and we got to enjoy the perfect mix of classics and todays bangers. He was incredible and absolutely made our day phenomenal!!!!

Rafael was the most amazing DJ and made our reception come to life. I highly recommend Grant Hemond and Rafael for your wedding! Exceeded ALL Expectations Joseph Erlandson was friendly, professional, accommodating, and an incredibly talented DJ!!!! His mixing and transitions were way better than we anticipated, and this is even after our coordinator personally requested him for our wedding knowing his skill level. The dance floor was full all night long, and there were several times the whole ball room was yelling the lyrics to songs. Best night ever! HIGHLY recommend!!! :)

Grant Hemond DJs are the BEST! Jason Tally and Anthony Mac both went above and beyond to make both of our special nights exactly what we wanted them to be!! Jason did our Welcome Dinner and helped MC the night, getting our guests to interact and meet each other, also helped with some technical difficulties with our slideshow—he went above and beyond! Anthony did an awesome job at our reception as well! The dance floor was packed the entire night! It was an absolute blast!

We loved having Grant Hemond as our DJ/MC company. As a wedding photographer, I often work weddings with this company and they always do such a wonderful job. When we finally got engaged and were thinking through who we should hire, I knew that I wanted Grant Hemond. With good prices and high quality DJ/MCs, you truly cannot go wrong booking them! We absolutely loved working with Grant Hemond and Associates! They were quick to respond back to us with quotes and any questions we had. Craig, our dj, worked with us one-on-one on what type of reception we wanted and how we can make our day special and fun for us and our guests. Craig kept us in the loop on next dances that were happening at the reception or asked if we needed to take a break. We had a small wedding, but we danced our hearts out. We're really happy we hired this company.

Our experience with Grant Hemond DJs was great. As we were thinking our vendors over, they answered our questions, gave us time to think, but also checked in on us as we made our decision. We never felt pressured to choose them but felt that they were keeping the line of communication open. The week before our wedding, our DJ Rafael contacted us and was a great communicator. He worked with us to make our ceremony music fit our vision. He was a great MC throughout the event, and the music was a lot of fun. Our friends had a great time dancing. He even had a few videos to share after to help us relive our wonderful day. We highly recommend them!

We chose Grant Hemond for both our DJ services and our Photo Booth services. Both Eric (DJ) and Trey (Photo booth) did an amazing job of keeping the party going and taking such great care with our guests. We heard several times from our guests how much they loved Eric and our parents even made the comment that they can't remember the last time they danced that much! Eric was actually also recommended by our photographer and videographer- which we were so happy to have vendors that have worked together and truly enjoy working together! Our goal was to keep everyone on the dance floor and to make sure everyone had a great time, and that was exactly what Eric Harding did! We can't recommend Grant Hemond enough!

For our wedding in October, we chose to use Grant Hemond for our DJ at the ceremony & reception. James King, specifically, was assigned to our event and we couldn't have been happier with the job he did! We gave James a list of songs that we really liked for the dance party at the reception and he did a phenomenal job of playing many of those songs but also implementing some others that went perfectly with the vibe of our wedding. We would absolutely recommend Grant Hemond & James King to anyone looking for a professional DJ service!!!
