Grant Horiuchi Photography

of the candid shots that he took. It helped me to see all of the little things I didn't notice/see that day with everything else going on. Amazing deal for the price, and such a wonderful person to work with. Will not be disappointed if you book him.

eativity, and attention to detail. My wedding party was quite large (25 total) and he was fantastic working with all of us individually and collectively. He took the time to get all of the important details from me and even went to our suite to photograph my dress because it was a better shot! Throughout the night he took amazing photos of all of the over 225 guests making everyone feel a part of the evening. He was so professional throughout the entire process. I met him and hired him a year before my wedding and he kept in touch and asked for a list of specific photos I wanted and who was most important for me to be photographed with at the wedding. I just can't give him enough accolades for how engaging he was with everyone, how polite he was and so relaxed. I hate taking pictures and he made me feel so at ease. I would not only recommend him to all brides, but I would say if you don't hire him you're depriving your special day of that "x" factor that helps create the essence of the moment. He took thousands of photographs and sent one to us immediately after as a sample of all the goodness yet to come from the remaining photos. Truly a gifted artist and consummate professional. uld be as beautiful. Once we were engaged, Grant was the second decision we made (right after nailing the date at the venue). It is without a doubt that Grant was worth every single penny. Grant remembered some of the special photo requests that we had and brought his own ideas. Our dog was our flowergirl, but that didn't stumble him at all. We were able to get beautiful pictures of our girl on our special day. I cannot recommend Grant enough. He is full of energy and knows how to work a crowd. A few of our guest even asked- "Who is that guy? I want to book him!"

he wedding moving along quite well. When we got all of the pictures they turned out wonderful. I would definitely recommend him for your wedding.

al day even better. Grant is not afraid to ask or direct wedding participants into certain positions to capture the best shots. Grant has a loud, commanding voice and outgoing presence, and was able to capture amazing photos of both my wife and I, our family and wedding party and other wedding participants and venue. Our guests loved him as well and a few people even complimented me on picking out such a fun and thorough photographer. Not only did the pictures from the wedding turn out fabulous but the turn around time on picture delivery was extremely fast as well. It took Grant just a few weeks to get us back all our pictures! He was able to get our proposal pictures sent back to us within a week. Truly remarkable service. I would highly recommend Grant as a wedding photographer or for any type of photography in general. Our proposal pictures turned out amazing as well. We plan on using Grant in the future for other photography needs.

was 10 days ago and I am still flying high on the excitement of my wedding. And a huge thanks for that has to go to Grant. Not only did I believe this, but several people at my wedding said that Grant made the party that much more fun! He was high energy for the whole 12 hours we hired him for! He was super flexible in dealing with our different shoot locations (hotel to get ready, park for ceremony and a hall for the reception). He made the whole experience fun and engaging! He even got several awesome photos of us with our flower girl, she is our fur baby, pug. There was maybe one time after the ceremony when we felt like we where done with photos. But we couldn't help but feed off of Grant's enthusiasm. And after looking at the photos now, I absolutely don't regret taking the extra couple of minutes to shoot a few more poses! As a digital artist myself, my favorite thing that Grant does is snap thousands of photos and then simply hands them over! It gives me the freedom to not only edit lighting and effects on the photos but more importantly, I get to choose which shots are my favorite! I will advise that he very literally sends thousandssss of photos. I got around 5000! So it means that you have to do a bit more leg work after receiving the flash drive. But again, getting the freedom to choose any of the photos including the "blooper" photos is priceless. With that said, With all the photos he took, they all where amazingly shot, and I don't even feel the need to spend days.. or even hours editing them. I might play with a couple that i want to print on a large scale, but otherwise perfect for digital sharing! I can't thank him enough! If his price and his skilled photography wasn't enough, his personality was nothing short of being the iceing on the cake! With all the weddings i have yet to attend this year and next, I would not be surprised at all if I ran into him again! Thank you again, Grant. We love you!

d about what they were supposed to be doing. AND he kept everyone laughing and smiling the whole day. He not only got great photos of all of the little details of our wedding, he captured so many candid moments of our guests enjoying our special day. I really appreciated his hard work! The photos turned out beautifully. Book him!

e for the most relaxed photography experiences ever. That includes all of our guests that he photographed. (He was our engagement and wedding photographer). He kept all of us laughing and smiling and captured every moment of the big day in stunning detail. I'm so glad that we hired Grant. You won't be disappointed!

et all of your pictures!! We have already starting passing on his information to other couples! You won't regret your choice!

got all the guests energized. Amazing quality and beautiful pictures. We loved having Grant do our wedding photography, and so did our guests who enjoyed having their pictures taken!

h and I recommned him to anyone who is getting married!

the event, both about the process and how the pictures would turn out. Grant put everyone at ease and made it fun and you can see that the way everyone seems so natural and authentic. Just beautiful! I'm so thrilled with the results.

r special day really helped us make this day so memorable. We are very lucky to have found you. I will certainly and very passionately recommend you to any of my friends who are getting married.

expectations. Hard to believe someone can bring as much energy and excitement to photography. We just received our pictures in the mail and the sheer quantity and quality of them is overwhelming. Over 40 GBs of pictures! Grant brought our wedding to the pinnacle of awesomeness and delivered everything he promised and so much more. If we ever need a photographer again, Grant will be the first person we call and we would be surprised if we don't use his services again. Thank you for making our wedding everything we could ever have hoped for. Chris and Jessica Peterson

he best of our vendors. In our whirlwind of activities he kept us at just the right pace to get all the photos we needed and charmed our guests while doing it. I still get compliments and inquiries from our friends and families. Highly recommended.

ugh and break us out of an uncomfortable setting, as taking posed pictures can be. On top of that, he was incredibly professional, handled his business aspect of it with the utmost respect for me and my wishes. He was the best priced for the quality (WHICH IS INCREDIBLE) and he had my pictures to me by the time we got back from our honeymoon. There was very little wait for my pictures and they were everything I could have imagined. I would HIGHLY recommend Grant to anyone and everyone. This is the guy for you!

work with and all our guests were raving about how fun he was. Our pictures turn out great and we had so many to choose from. He also got them back to us super fast.

graphers she had met, she kept coming back to Grant. His energy and fun-loving personality made an immediate impression, and when I was able to met him later on, I had to agree that we had found the perfect person to shoot our wedding. We made the decision early on that though we needed to keep our wedding on a budget, we were going to get a great photographer, and what a wonderful decision that was! For a great price that fit perfectly into our budget, Grant gave us everything we wanted and more. When we needed a MC, he stepped up. When we needed direction and experience (we were the first of our friends to get married so we were playing it by ear), he pointed us in the right direction. And his positive energy on our big day pushed us and kept us going through every transition, from getting ready to bridal and groom photos, from the wedding ceremony to family photos after, and of course, throughout the reception. Since the wedding, we have had so many friends and family exclaim over how wonderful he was and everyone with whom we've shared our story and our photos have been amazed with everything he created and captured. On top of everything that wasn't in his job description, his photos were incredible. We have about 700 photos from our engagement shoot, and something close to seven thousand pictures for the wedding and reception. All of which we have the rights to. He didn't charge per hour, so when we decided to add an hour to the reception we didn't have to stress. He was there from when we started setting up until after we left for the hotel, getting great shots and helping everyone get into the wedding spirit. My wife and I even talked on our way to the hotel how it was a little sad that the wedding was over because we weren't sure if there was another event in our lives we could afford/need a photographer for. Rest assured though, if we hire a photographer again, it's going to be Grant.

tertaining all guests. Everyone kept saying this is the best photographer they have ever seen. It is true for me. We received our photos yesterday, tons of them and they are perfect! Thank you Grant! We feel so lucky and honored to have you at my daughter's wedding.

at). Our main goal for the wedding was to make sure everyone had a great time. Grant was in contact with me for the months leading up to the wedding, made sure that we had all the details nailed down, and was happy to meet us at the 'pre-wedding' bridal prep area on the day-of and then follow us to the church. We got married in a Catholic church, which has some photography restrictions, but he managed to get hundreds of beautiful photos during the ceremony. He was discreet during the peaceful ceremony (I don't think a single person noticed him). At the reception he made sure to catch every moment. Numerous guests remarked at how we had found such an awesome photographer. He was really energetic and dialed-in the whole time (I was impressed that he could stay so enthusiastic). Grant sends all of the photos he takes on DVD discs (unedited). Ours arrived shortly after we returned from our honeymoon two weeks later. There were 8 discs - somewhere around 6,000 photos. It's a bit to go through but was actually quite fun and it was nice to have our pick of the litter. Plus, his pricing is amazing compared to every other comparable photographer we looked at (and we live in the future where i-devices can make at-home editing cheap and easy). I would HIGHLY recommend Grant for anyone who wants an energetic photographer and who doesn't mind a little 'dirty work' after the fact.

nd will bring everyone out of their shell causing big smiles and laughs from all. I had many family members and guests say how impressed they were with us choosing Grant as the photographer. "Show me teeth!" - Grant Horiuchi

nd a joy to work with.

wedding. He was extremely professional, very organized and went above and beyond to give us the best wedding photographs. Grant's style of shooting is so much fun and extremely creative. During and after the wedding, our guests just had so many nice things to say about Grant. When we got the photos and shared them with all our guests, they were in awe. He did not take one boring photo. I've been to many weddings and the photographer and the photos are just boring. Thank you so much Grant for being part of our wedding and giving us good memories we shall keep. I recommend Grant any day. Joy

guest are still talking about how great he was! Also I got my picture back a week and a half after my wedding.

onalism and enthusiasm shinned through the entire day. Thank you!!! Love, Katie and Frank

and he did my engagement pictures and the salon session, he was amazing!!! He was so upbeat and energetic that he added so much to the festive vibe! Everyone commented about how much fun they had with him and how great he was. I received all my photos just two weeks after my wedding, literally thousands! They are amazing! Grant took all the pictures I could have imagined and more! Thank you Grant for capturing all the moments of my day, I'll treasure my pictures forever!

by the end of the day everyone wanted his card and were SO impressed with him! Thanks again Grant!

at the Tacoma Dome. My husband and I were still deciding on photographers at the time, but as soon as we met Grant we both just looked at each other and said "Yes! He's the one!". He brought such life into taking pictures we all just had a blast! My family felt comfortable and very happy. I was amazed on how he got all the shots he did. He is fast and efficient and I would recommend him to absolutely everyone!!

yet makes you laugh at the smallest things! All of our photos turned out amazing and we even got all of them back within a week after the wedding! I would recommend Grant for basically any photo shoots you may need and especially for a wedding! He was wonderful!

wore on, our eagerness to keep going would wax and wane. Grant was always there to lift us up, snap a picture and tell us to keep on going. Even with an unorthodox photoshoot involving all of my husband's car buddies (and cars), he was totally into it. He takes A LOT of fantastic photos which he sent to us on CDs about 1 week after the wedding. We just pick and choose at our leisure (although choosing which ones to show family and friends is the real hard part). If you want someone that won't let you forget how spectacular your wedding day is, go with Grant.

hoot and the images turned out pretty well, but nothing outstanding. It made me a bit nervous for the actual wedding, but he had such high reviews so I was able to remain confident. When the wedding day came, Grant showed up right on time and was ready and eager to start taking pictures. His personality was infectious and put everyone at ease. As a member of a large family, I know how chaotic it can get trying to organize everyone for pictures. Grant was not afraid to take charge. He was able to get everyone where they needed to be and get great pictures and stay within our timeline. I can tell in the wedding pictures that everyone had genuine smiles. He got several shots of each pose and a wide variety of poses pre-wedding with all of our family members. During the wedding he was stealthy and efficient. I never noticed where he was, but he still managed to get great shots of every event in the wedding. He got a huge array of candid shots of all of our guests, and a lot of cute portraits of all of our guests. I have had several people comment that our photographer was a blast and they really had fun at the wedding. Grant used 2 cameras- one with a normal lens and one with a wide angle lens, which allowed for a lot of different types of pictures of each event. It took less than 2 weeks after the wedding to get a DVD in the mail with all 6,000 pictures. The DVDs contained every image he took, un-watermarked and in high resolution. Long story short- he was a high quality, high energy photographer and my husband and I would use again in a heartbeat. We both highly recommend him!

apher! You are the best wedding photographer! You were much talked about after the wedding! We would highly recommend you to anyone! Our friends and family were very impressed! You really helped make our wedding perfect and captured every second of that night! We cannot thank you enough! We appreciate all your hard work and great photos! We had a party just to look through all of them! You are the best! Thanks again for your amazing job! Amanda and Cole

great service. He truly added to the beauty and magic of our day. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone for their special day! We love you Grant!! Mr & Mrs Cacciatore

l say "Teeth Daddy!!" whenever my Dad's in a bad mood and he still talks about how much fun we had with you. You weren't just our photographer, you were part of the festivities, a member of the party, and we can't thank you enough. We hope to continue involving you in the important moments of our family, and wish you continued success. Thank you so so so much, Julie and Steve

was a new friend. An inspiring figure that stood out at our wedding. Grant seemed like he was everywhere at once. I almost could swear he has a twin or is using some 23rd century technology to transpose his image and likeness through space and time. Grant was humble, yet was able to control people to get together for specific photographs. He was not rude, in fact, quite the opposite. Some controlling photographers go too far when they tell people what to do. With Grant, it felt more like we were an untouched clump of clay and he was molding our wedding party into the perfect poses. Grant seamlessly covered our entire wedding, entertained guests with his outgoing and genuine personality, and completed the atmosphere of our wedding that we were looking for. When we met Grant at a recent wedding show in Seattle. We had talked with him for maybe 5 minutes. And something just clicked, we knew this was our guy. It was the best decision we made for our wedding. Thank you Grant for being you! Not only did we love Grant at our wedding but several guests (including my best man) are inquiring about Grant for their weddings. With all of our Love, Tommy and Brooke

t also the aura of our event. We treasure all of his photos and his artistic ability was outstanding. Grant was a true professional.
