Grant Horner was relatively new at our church at the time, but we quickly grew to appreciate him as we shared with each other during our premarital counseling sessions. He brought up and led us through vital topics for us to discuss as a couple, some of which we had not yet even considered. He was very positive and encouraging throughout the whole process. What impressed us the most was his message during the wedding ceremony. Woven between various scriptures and Godly advice for a Christian couple, Grant included bits and pieces of things we had shared about each other that he heard directly from us during the counseling sessions. It gave the message, and ultimately the whole ceremony, such a personal, unique touch! It was no “cookie cutter” message for sure.
