Grapefruit Photo was, by far, our best and most important wedding vendor. Our engagement and wedding photos are absolutely stunning. We will cherish them forever! But Yo did so much more for us than capture beautiful photos; she was an integral part of our wedding planning process and our wedding day. From our first meeting at Dunkin to the big event over a year later, Yo answered countless questions from us by phone, email, and text. During our engagement session, she helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and worked with us (several hours longer than scheduled, might I add) to find the kinds of poses we preferred. Later, she attended our final walkthroughs at both our ceremony and reception venues. She scoped out all the best photo spots and helped us plan our wedding day timeline. Finally, on the day of the wedding, she kept us on schedule and worked carefully and efficiently to capture all the photos we dreamed of and more. Yo is upbeat, patient, kind, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. We were blown away when she sent us dozens of beautiful sneak peek photos THE DAY AFTER our wedding. Run don’t walk (and I mean it)!!! Hiring Yo and Grapefruit Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding. It’s quite clear that Yo has a burning passion for photography. From the beginning, we gave Yo creative control of the photography. Looking back 1 year later, that was the 2nd best decision we made. The photos turned out better than we could have imagined. Yo was also a helpful guide during the planning process. She brought welcomed experience to help us plan other aspects of our day. Yo truly is a one man show; she does the A to Z check list when it comes to weddings. At various times during the reception and rehearsal dinner, she would come up to us and say she had some inspiration. She is extremely prompt with sneak peaks and the total collection. She was so excited to share. On the rehearsal dinner, she sent us way over 100 edited pictures THAT NIGHT. It was within 3-4 hours. They were top quality and magical. The night of the wedding she sent many more pictures THAT NIGHT. The emotions from the event hadn’t even left before we received such amazing memories. Yo and her assistants were phenomenal. We look forward to using her services any chance we can get. Yo and Grapefruit photography will also hold a special place in our hearts for capturing our most important day through a magical lens.

Yo is such a professional, caring and understanding throughout the whole process from planning to the day of. She captured a lot of great quality pictures of my daughter's wedding despite the cloudy rainy weather, and she is very flexible of when the bride and groom wants to capture their portraits. We had a wonderful experience with Yo from time of booking through the event and after! When we booked Grapefruit, Yo was extremely professional and organized. We met her in person to go through all of the details and she even went to a quick scouting with me to the hotel to figure out where the best lighting would be. On the day of the wedding she up right on time with her two assistants and made she we kept on schedule to get all the shots we needed while maximizing our ability to stay present for all of the events. After the wedding we were shocked when we had over 100 photos completely edited the next day as a sneak peak. The best! Yo and her team are amazing. Yo puts 110% into capturing all of the best shots, angles, and poses for you and if shows in the results! It’s also amazing that she gets SO many sneak peek photos to you the day after your wedding! They are great quality and easy to share! I can’t wait to see the rest of the album. Professional, sweet, caring, and talented. I have worked with plenty of photographers from wedding, to fashion shoots, to couples. I hired Yo of Grapefruit photo for my Georgia wine country vow renewal and she is hands down the best photographer I have worked with. And, again, I have worked with quite a few. Promptness is key. She was early, ready to go. Safety is also important during this pandemic time. She was cognizant of all safety precautions. Talent. Well goes without saying. The shots were carefully crafted, creative, and made sure they were a synergy of my Vision for the event as well as her talent and creative flair. The photos she provided the very next morning for the sneak peak were already edited and just absolutely breathtaking. Also, she is absolutely sweet and kind to work with. The day was not the warmest and she made sure I was doing ok after every shot. I couldn’t say enough amazing things about her. You need this photographer!!!

Where to even begin, Yo photographed our wedding and our engagement shoot and WOW she is so incredibly talented. Yo is constantly finding new photo ideas while also asking what your vision is. The day after our wedding we were given a sneak peak full of beautiful photos from our wedding day and they did not disappoint. A week later I’m still have trouble picking a favorite. She is phenomenal to work with and cares so much about creating special moments! She showed up early on our wedding day when rain was in the forecast so we could get a head start and make it outside during a break in the rain. Yo is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend her enough. We used her for our micro-wedding in February. Some of our family members who attended were super strict with their COVID precautions and she was more than understanding and respectful. The photos we received from Yo are absolutely breathtaking, and almost everyone who has seen them thinks so as well. In a short amount of time (3 hours) she captured so many beautiful shots and completely exceeded our expectations. Yo and Heather are absolutely amazing! I was sick on my wedding day, but that didn't stop them from getting incredible pictures. They were also extremely flexible and did whatever we needed. Since I was sick, the ceremony time got pushed back a bit and our time for pictures got cut out. Yo and Heather are magic though, and still managed to get some stunning pictures despite even in the dark. I could not be happier with their work and would recommend them 1000x over!

Where do we begin?! Grapefruit Photo is simply the best! Yo (owner) and her team have been a blessing to us. To say that we were lucky to find Grapefruit Photo would be an understatement. We were first drawn to Yo and her work because she has this amazing ability to capture light, colors, and unique angles. We would soon learn that she is great at EVERYTHING! Our search for a photographer for our engagement and wedding photos was a little tricky. A few of the photographers that we initially interacted with gave us the run-around with price packages and their availability, but after we got the recommendation to seek out Yo, we never looked back. We greatly appreciated her professionalism and transparency. In addition, we found her to be organized, kind, flexible, attentive, thoughtful, and funny. She also serves as a great body/security guard when you're trying to get great shots that might require a bit more work and moving of crowds. :-) Yo is the best and she is our "forever photographer!" We can't wait to hire her again!

One of the things we chose very carefully was our wedding photographer. Both my spouse and I are based out of town, and we browsed through many photographers based in Atlanta looking for a style that is thoughtful, bright, and clean. We fell in love with Grapefruit Photo’s versatile portfolio shots that ranged from artsy to downright dramatic. We contacted our wedding planner, Joyce Lee (Showcase Your Style), to help us make the connection with Yo and her team. Right away, Yo made quick, efficient work with discussing photography package options and giving us a couple’s questionnaire for us to work on our own time. Yo and Melanie were quite the combo on our big day! They weaved in and out, capturing our most tender moments as well as keeping up with our energized dancing at the Emory Conference Center Hotel. As experienced photographers, they knew how to maximize their time efficiently, helping us to coordinate family and friends for every shot, helping us stay on schedule. They also had props to help accentuate certain wedding details such as the bride’s dress, shoes, jewelry, flowers and snapping the food and decor as well in an elegant way. As self-proclaimed unphotogenic people in about 7 out of 10 photos we have ever taken ourselves, we were glad to have Grapefruit Photo swiftly coordinate our poses into something both creative and beautiful. We should also mention the incredibly fast delivery time and post-production turnaround (especially during the summer wedding season!). Grapefruit Photo made our sneak-peek photos available the day after our wedding so we could share them with our loved ones. And our gallery was available to use about 3-weeks after the wedding. We are thrilled to have these lasting images to hold and cherish as we start our new journey as a married couple. Thank you again to our friends at Grapefruit Photo for a job well done!

5 starts! Amazing experiences and fabulous wedding photos!!!! Prior to the weeding day, Yoyo has offered me very professional assistant on tons of details. The day before wedding, yoyo flew in with her fancy equipment and double checked with me on all timeline and details. What to/not to do. We went over plans to capture the best lighting for our photos in different locations. The day of was super stressful. Yoyo came over to my place punctually and started shooting the dress and preparation photos. Moving forward to the ceremony till the end of reception.. I would say it could fall apart without Yoyo.. She was just so amazing! With her tremendous experiences interacting with guests and site hosts, my whole wedding pulled together tightly and neat!!! Thank you so much!!! Lastly we went to this amazing beach El Matador for beach photos!! This is dream come true!! Purely stunning captures! All friends were amazed by the photos! Of course yoyo had to roll up her clothes and got super wet in the water... Really Thank you for the hard work!!! Highly highly recommended!!! Best service and best photo quality!!

What a weekend to get married in Georgia?! We had 10-12 inches of snow on the ground, closed roads and plans changed due to power outages. However, Xiaojuan and Melanie trekked over an hour to the venue to shoot our winter wonderland wedding. It must be noted that Xiaojuan and her neighbor had to hike a mile out of her neighborhood with several pounds of camera equipment to even get to Melanie and her car due to the icy roads. GRAPEFRUIT PHOTO IS DEDICATED to their customers. We had such an amazing time with Xiaojuan and Melanie. They kept us laughing and upbeat while we were outside (freezing) getting some beautiful snow pictures at our venue and around downtown Acworth. Oh, if you could see the ART these pictures produced. Absolutely stunning photographs! All in all, we could not have asked for a better team than Xiaojuan and Melanie to photograph our big day. They were kind, dedicated, fun, and professional! We will continue to use Grapefruit photo for our future family needs! I promise if you give them a try, you will be not be disappointed!
