Our mission is to create your dream floral arrangements so that your wedding is a true expression of your personal vision. Grateful Floral and Event Design offers customized event design and floral decor. Owner and lead designer, Beth Sovereign, delights in helping couples to achieve their desired look for their special day in keeping with their budget. She has garnered over 25 years of experience in the event management and florist industries, during which time she has honed her creative talent and organizational skills. Enjoying married life since 2007, she is mother to a wonderful teen girl, artistic autistic preteen, and happy toddler. When it comes to your wedding flowers, Beth can produce everything from vintage and glamorous installations to rustic and eclectic designs. She will tailor her approach to match your theme and color scheme, with items such as bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony decor, and reception decor. Grateful Floral and Event Design also specializes in event rentals such as table linens, chair covers, fabric wall draping, string lighting, uplighting, and monogram lights. r creative vision to create a cohesive look that didn't cost a fortune. We had very different aesthetics to blend into a cohesive whole, and Beth did a great job. Flowers arrived on time or early the day of the wedding, and they came back to break down the rented equipment at the end of the night (arrived on time and broke everything down quickly). We needed a Jewish chuppah for our ceremony, and Beth had the perfect metal structure that she covered in fabric, flowers and greenery.
My favorite flower is pink oriental lilies, and we had them in my bouquet as well as part of the table decoration. I was upset that the lilies in my bouquet were almost white while other lilies in the table arrangements were the dark pink I wanted. We brought this to Beth's attention a few days after the wedding and she took care of it immediately, apologized and was professional. She offered a new bouquet or a refund for that bouquet in particular (I took the refund). I definitely recommend Grateful Floral!

Soft rose petals going down the aisle, loose greenery with loose flowers on all of our tables and a big beautiful bouquet with a special request that included my favorite flower. a few vendors to get quotes and ask questions to find the best fit. When I sent a few pictures to Beth explaining that I want something with lots of color like these, she was the only florist who responded with what she would do - listing all the flowers and the type of flowers for each wedding party member. She didn't make me feel dumb or bad about not having a clue. She told me what she could do and did it. I was so happy to have guidance and help.
On the day of the wedding - my bouquet was gorgeous!! As well as the bridesmaids bouquets.

There was a miscommunication about the bridesmaids' bouquets, which we decided we would just fix on our own. Unfortunately, not all of our flowers were delivered as per our contract.
However, Beth came back with all of our flowers and helped us have them all and end the day with our vision brought to life! We have no hard feelings at all but it did add stress to an already overwhelming day.
We loved our flowers and they exceeded our expectations as soon as everything was sorted out!

Beth Sovereign has event management experience starting in 2003 including design, implementation, management, budget, volunteers, and staff. Education includes Bachelor of Business Administration from UTA and Master of Business Administration from DBU. After working in commercial finance and managing corporate events, Beth began working as a manager for an event designer and volunteers as the Events Chair for a neighborhood HOA, before opening her own wedding floral design company. Beth is a happily married wife and special needs mom with three wonderful children that entertain her world.
