Owner and lead designer, Beth Sovereign, delights in helping couples to achieve their desired look for their special day in keeping with their budget. She has garnered over 25 years of experience in the event management and florist industries, during which time she has honed her creative talent and organizational skills. Enjoying married life since 2007, she is mother to a wonderful teen girl, artistic autistic preteen, and happy toddler.

Grateful Floral and Events Design did an awesome job with my wedding decor. I wanted candle lights all around and on the tables, and Beth did an awesome job. She found the perfect candelabra centerpieces with candles. I want to give her a special thanks because my bouquet was absolutely beautiful!

Beth was absolutely fabulous & provided the most gorgeous florals. She also provided table linens which was a huge help! I sent her my Pinterest board & inspiration photos, and she sent back a mock-up that was exactly what I had envisioned. When I saw everything set up on our wedding day, it was absolutely perfect. She had captured the exact vibe & aesthetic I wanted. Beth was always quick with communication & patient with my multiple last minute changes. I wholeheartedly recommend Beth for the most beautiful florals you will ever see.

Beth did my first daughter's wedding 2 years ago and we immediately contacted her for my 2nd daughter's wedding because the flowers were so beautiful. She was so easy to work with and was able to create just what we wanted for our daughter's special day. Her communication back and forth was dependable and she was quick to respond to any of our needs. She was personable and made sure everything was delivered on time and in great condition. She made our daughters weddings perfect, I would highly recommend her and she will not disappoint. We were given her information from a friend who also was extremely satisfied with the end result. Beth goes above and beyond to make things easy and beautiful.

Beth did my florals for my wedding, and I could not have been more pleased with how they turned out! She made this whole process seamless, from beginning to end. From the very beginning of the planning process to the day of the event and even at the end of the evening, Beth was someone that we could count on. She was patient in answering all of my questions prior to choosing her and also very detailed in what to expect---from budget to design and even down to the kind of flowers that she would be using. She was great at communicating with me and my daughter as we made changes and adjustments to fit our design aesthetic. My daughter wanted something romantic, simple and elegant. Despite our limited knowledge of flowers, Beth was able to bring our vision to life in a breathtaking way. Moreover, Grateful Floral also took care of the installation of the twinkle lights, which added a romantic touch to the reception. AMAZING! I had a very specific vision and Beth delivered. She was patient, kind, offered her advice when needed, and stepped back to listen when I needed it. She did not try to upswell me, and was open to my vision. Other vendors didn’t quite seem to understand my needs but she asked proving questions, asked for additional photos, and sent me a detailed final list of florals. LOVED working with her!

Beth was incredible! Our wedding was "Enchanted Forest" themed with 2 brides doing a "good and evil" vibe, and we wanted all the flowers and greenery and nature possible, and Beth really delivered! She gave us lots of options and helped mold our creative vision to create a cohesive look that didn't cost a fortune. We had very different aesthetics to blend into a cohesive whole, and Beth did a great job. Flowers arrived on time or early the day of the wedding, and they came back to break down the rented equipment at the end of the night (arrived on time and broke everything down quickly). We needed a Jewish chuppah for our ceremony, and Beth had the perfect metal structure that she covered in fabric, flowers and greenery.
My favorite flower is pink oriental lilies, and we had them in my bouquet as well as part of the table decoration. I was upset that the lilies in my bouquet were almost white while other lilies in the table arrangements were the dark pink I wanted. We brought this to Beth's attention a few days after the wedding and she took care of it immediately, apologized and was professional. She offered a new bouquet or a refund for that bouquet in particular (I took the refund). I definitely recommend Grateful Floral!

I would highly recommend (and rave about) Grateful Floral and Beth to anyone who asked!! Oh my goodness our flowers turned out better than I could have even pictured. She took my vision and colors to a new level. When I emailed with her, she was very clear about everything and took every detail into account. She was professional and receptive to every little change, and I bugged her with changes quite a bit. On the big day, she arrived early and was friendly and excited and set up everything without needing much from me at all! Don’t worry if you don’t really know what you want, somehow she will haha. Grateful Floral & Events was recommended to us by our planner and it was a great recommendation! Beth was so easy to work with and came up a great floral scheme considering I know nothing about flowers and my descriptive words probably weren't very descriptive. But she made my vision a reality! I really appreciate that she took the time to list out all of the flowers she intended to use so I could get a better vision in my head of how everything would come together. She was also very willing to work with our budget. I was afraid our budget would have us lacking in floral, but everything looked amazing. The arrangements even lasted us into the holidays so our house looked festive for Christmas. I would recommend Beth to anyone looking for a florist for their wedding.

Beth is just too wonderful for words. She was a recommendation from a friend of mine and was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She went through every painstaking detail with me the months and months leading up to the wedding, was transparent about what would work/wouldn't work based on the venue setting, and provided gorgeous florals the day of. Her team also set up gorgeous white draping for our outdoor ceremony space. I'm so thankful for Beth's guidance, and would recommend her to anyone looking for florals!

From start to finish Beth and her team were a breeze to work with. We hired her services for our wedding and everything was so beautiful, Beth really made my vision come to life. I really wanted a beautiful ceremony with roses and white lights on our arch above us which looked so gorgeous. Soft rose petals going down the aisle, loose greenery with loose flowers on all of our tables and a big beautiful bouquet with a special request that included my favorite flower. Beth did an amazing job by keeping us way under budget and communication was excellent. The only thing I would’ve changed was the amount of floral used on our reception tables. There was a huge amount of beautiful greenery including seeded eucalyptus, but I would’ve liked to see more flowers. Other than that everything was perfect. Thank you so much Grateful Floral!!

Beth was absolutely AMAZING! I had many switches because of my indecisiveness, but she was very patient and worked with me on the budget I wanted. The flowers came out amazing and I received so many compliments on them!!
Beth stayed in touch through the whole wedding process and always got back to me so quickly when I made a request. She is punctual too! She showed up exactly when she said she would and was probably our easiest vendor to work with.
We were on the fence with real flowers or fake, but this whole process with Beth, I say GO REAL! It is so so so worth it and she makes it very easy.

Beth was amazing. I know nothing about flowers. (I think I know maybe like 4 types of flowers.) So when I saw a picture on Pinterest, I had no clue what kind of flowers they were. As many other couples planning a wedding know, you reach out to a few vendors to get quotes and ask questions to find the best fit. When I sent a few pictures to Beth explaining that I want something with lots of color like these, she was the only florist who responded with what she would do - listing all the flowers and the type of flowers for each wedding party member. She didn't make me feel dumb or bad about not having a clue. She told me what she could do and did it. I was so happy to have guidance and help.
On the day of the wedding - my bouquet was gorgeous!! As well as the bridesmaids bouquets.

This is a hard review to write...
We loved working with Beth overall - her communication was great and responsive throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, she brought my vision to life! However, not without a hiccup and unfortunately on the wedding day.
There was a miscommunication about the bridesmaids' bouquets, which we decided we would just fix on our own. Unfortunately, not all of our flowers were delivered as per our contract.
However, Beth came back with all of our flowers and helped us have them all and end the day with our vision brought to life! We have no hard feelings at all but it did add stress to an already overwhelming day.
We loved our flowers and they exceeded our expectations as soon as everything was sorted out!

Beth has a great touch. I had messaged her so many times in the beginning with so many changes and she made sure she incorporated all this changes for me without hesitation. Then my last change a month before the wedding she accommodated as well. She made sure she had all the info she needed for what i was going for in my floral design. She explain to me what I was asking for and the cost and was straight forward with me. I appreciate that so much with her. My bouquet was amazing and all the corsages and bouts were great too. I have deconstructed and dried out my flowers to preserve them cause I loved the flower choices.
Beth was amazing to work with! She went above and beyond to make my dream a reality! She is very friendly and easy to talk to and showed me lots of example pictures and showed me what each flower looked with as I’m not good with the names. She was always very easy to get into contact with and arrived on time and ready for meetings and the wedding day! Her team was so nice and set up the venue perfectly! Right from the beginning, Beth from Grateful Florals was easy to work with. She was patient and responsive to our emails. She was specific with the flowers that can be used given our theme and was flexible with last minute additions to our order. Her prices were reasonable compared to the other florists we looked into. On our wedding day, the floral arrangement just blew me away! My wedding bouquet was gorgeous and the greenery used for the reception was just larger than life. Beth and her team at Grateful Floral and Event Design are fantastic to work with and created BEAUTIFUL greenery based off of one picture! She made the design in my mind become real and even more perfect than I could have imagined. I only wanted greenery in my bouquets and table wreaths, and she incorporated succulents, eucalyptus, thistle, and other beautiful greens in everything. She also was able to wrap a piece of my grandmother's wedding dress around the stems of my bouquet - so special. Beth was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process! Once we had agreed to work together, we discussed in-depth the vision I had for my wedding day & she truly took what I envisioned & made it come to life! I traveled from Missouri to Texas for my wedding, so I never got to see samples or have a bridal trial with our florals prior to our wedding day. I had to put a lot of trust in Beth & her team to make my dream come to life - & I can confirm I was NOT disappointed!!! Our florals were absolutely breathtaking, we were beyond happy with how gorgeous all arrangements turned out! Even though we had agreed to do a more minimal floral design (only the arch, aisle, head table, a few dinner tables, & bouquets) I still felt like our floral arrangements were full, gorgeous, & didn't feel like we were "missing out". I will always recommend Beth & her team, they blew our expectations out of the water!

Y'ALL - Beth has the patience of a saint. She spent so much time talking to me about the floral designs. Every question was answered quickly. Beth and her team did a wonderful job in decorating for my wedding. She provided all of my floral needs as well as linens and center pieces. Everything was so beautiful. Her team arrived promptly on time and began setting up without me having to lift a finger. What was greatly appreciated though during this time on Covid was Beth continuously checked in to see how everything was going. Which was so reassuring. Beth provided my brides bouquet, arch floral and ceremony arch draping for my wedding! She was always quick to respond, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my day perfect! For someone who knows very little about flowers (me) she took my vision (pictures I sent her) and was able to make exactly what I wanted and that would fit my budget. She was happy to three way call with my mom and I in order to help and answer our many questions! What really stood out to me was Beth came and set up the arch floral/drapery and was willing to stay after the ceremony and pictures to ensure I got all the photos I wanted before she broke down the archway and assisted with placing the larger floral pieces in the reception to be displayed! She was a pleasure to work with in a time that is so Stressful and chaotic (not only the stress of a wedding but the stress of planning a wedding during COVID-19)! Beth’s eye does floral design is second to none! I shared my vision for the flowers I wanted to adore the triangle arch my husband built for our wedding and she surpassed my expectations. The flowers were gorgeous and we got so many compliments on them. Beth is a joy to work with, very accommodating and absolutely worth every dime. Her pricing was very reasonable especially considering the quality of flowers. She even got hold of my country’s national flower - the rare flame lily🥰. Highly recommend!

Beth was a dream!! I am so GRATEFUL I had her throughout my wedding planning and through postponing a wedding. She brought so much optimism and calmness to me when my wedding was trailing on COVID uncertainty. In addition to her being an amazing human, let me add the flowers were OUT OF THIS WORLD!! She met with me before hand to get my vision, pick out flowers, and ensure everything was what I wanted. She was thorough and quick in all her emails and communication. Her team was wonderful through the set up process and they made all my wedding day dreams come true. Grateful also catered flowers to my rehearsal dinner which were beautiful!

Beth is just wonderful. She was super responsive via email and was available every time I had a question or needed to make an update/change to my florals. Her work on the day of the wedding BLEW me away. It was above and beyond my expectations and people are still complimenting her work.

Working with Beth from start to finish, was completely seamless. Her bouquet designs were absolutely stunning!
She took care of our floral needs as well as all of the linens.
She was at the wedding venue setting up before we arrived and she was there at the end of the night removing them, leaving is one less thing to worry about. I can’t say enough about her kindness and professionalism!
She was quick to answer every question and was able to add extra items we unexpectedly needed at the very last minute without any problems.
Her prices are also very competitive.
I HIGHLY recommend Beth!

Beth and her team were AMAZING. Picking Grateful Floral for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made while planning our wedding. Beth took the time to come to our home and create a custom, detailed proposal with us and was so easy to work with! On top of floral, Beth also provided us with vases, candles, and curtain/sheet options for our archway at the ceremony. On the day of the wedding her whole team was at the venue before I even arrived and they were already setting up to make sure everything was perfect. She definitely went above and beyond and it really showed at our wedding. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the floral was!

Beth was awesome! We didn't know exactly what arrangement we wanted. After meeting and discussing the wedding theme, Beth came up with arrangement ideas. The flowers were stunning wedding day! We were so pleased! Beth is affordable and communicates well.
Beth is the best!!! She was so sweet and very helpful. She never complained of all the changes we made, on the contrary, she gave us more ideas.

Using Grateful Floral and Event Design was a great decision for us! I graduated from college in May, so I did the majority of my wedding planning from out of town, but Beth was flexible with me and willing to have all of our communication be through email. Our floral budget wasn't very big (we only needed a florist to do bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and a child's flower crown), and Beth did a fantastic job of staying within our budget while still ensuring I had exactly what I wanted. Plus, she delivered our flowers to the venue in Mansfield, TX even though we didn't have her doing thousands of dollars worth of work! I am very thankful for Beth and her work!
Beth was so easy to work with. She communicated well with myself and my wedding planner and is super flexible. When we were meeting at our reception space, Beth came for the meeting and we hadn't signed our contract yet! Thank you for everything and for accommodating our budget. Hopefully we will be able to work together again! I would highly recommend Beth and Grateful Floral and Event Design!
Beth is so sweet! It was just as much fun planning with her as it was to see the gorgeous arrangements the day of the wedding. She perfectly decorated our dream wedding with the most gorgeous tropical arrangements. She’s the total package! I a 100% recommend working with her!

We didn't really know what we wanted, we just saw some pictures we liked and she took those and gave us beautiful arrangements we wouldn't have known how to ask for. She was also understanding of us being on a budget and came up with suggestions for substitutions and adjustments that would save money (even on some things we hadn't thought to ask about!), but nothing looked cheap at all. The flowers stayed fresh throughout the reception, and two days later my bouquet and the table arrangements we saved are still blooming. Also just a sweet person to work with--definitely recommend!
