I'm an experienced weddings/event DJ as well as host of my own radio music program. I am a music lover of the first degree, and I love playing it for brides, grooms, families and friends. When I'm not on the air or at the DJ booth, I'm relaxing with my wife and 2 kids.

Gary was very flexible during our initial meeting via zoom and final meeting leading up to our wedding date. Provided a great service and excellent atmosphere during our reception. However, there were a few instances where Gary approached the bride and groom during the reception that could have been handled in a different manner. Overall he did a great job with our music selection during cocktail hour, dinner, and open dancing. He was spot on with all name pronunciations!

Gary was such an amazing part of our wedding day!! He was down for whatever we wanted and played such a great selection of songs that kept our guests dancing all night. There was one minor mishap with the parent dance but overall his energy and experience recovered everything! And our guests danced until the very end!! He is a great affordable DJ who made our day so wonderful!!

Gary was better than we could have ever asked for. He had questions for us to ask him we never would have thought of. Very professional but also very approachable. Especially on the day of when we were none stop running and had last minute changes. Gary did a very good job at our wedding. He was easy to coordinate with ahead of time and was well organized. The day of the wedding there was some behind the scenes technical hiccups, but Gary did a great job making sure none of the guests were aware, and everything performed as expected and on time. We gave him free range throughout the evening to choose songs as he felt fit, and they were all appropriate for the atmosphere.

We had several meetings with Gary prior to the event to make sure that everything went smoothly the day of. We had GDE as our DJ for our wedding in the beginning of May 2023. I cannot recommend enough! He was very helpful throughout the process and even asked questions we’d hadn’t thought of! Very timely in responses and kept us focus on tasks at hand so our day ran smoothly! Day of, he handled any issues that arose with guest requests, etc without needing any assistance from us which was SO appreciated so we could celebrate our day!

We met with Gary via zoom as we live out of state so right off the bat he was accommodating. We discussed what we wanted and he let us know his process. He encouraged us to send eialms often of song lits to get and idea of what we wanted. He also asked for a list of how to pronounce the wedding party names. That shows his attention to detail. On the day of he delivered! It was no frills, a few announcements we wanted and just dancing! We had multiple guests let us know that they had an amazing time. I highly recommend Great Day Entertainment!

I always felt like I was more prepared and excited after talking to him. Gary was so fun and easy to work with! He was professional and organized while also being easy-going. My partner had been a guest at a prior wedding that Gary DJ'd, and had a blast, so we knew we would be in great hands for our own wedding, and Gary certainly did not disappoint. Also, as an example of his flexibility and consideration, at the end of the night he played our last three songs as we had requested, but of course some of our friends weren't quite ready to be done dancing yet, so he asked us what we wanted to do. We really appreciated all of his hard work to make sure that we didn't have to worry about anything and got to just enjoy our day!

Gary was so easy to work with, easily accommodating with song choices (he let us send him Spotify playlists with the songs we wanted to hear) He prepared us incredibly well in the weeks leading up to that day and walked us through everything He was punctual the day of, and I noticed during the reception at the end of a song when people would start to walk off Gary had just the song to bring them back out He kept the energy up and everyone was on the dance floor all night We love Gary and, if we had to do it all over again, we’d still choose him! Gary was fantastic. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end and he played all the songs that we requested. His communication was impeccable; he even came and spoke to us before our wedding planner did at the reception. We want to take a minute to shout out Gary Wenner and Great Day Entertainment for bringing the “A” game to our wedding day at Mapleside Farms in Ohio. Gary provided the audio for our outdoor ceremony and then rocked the house from cocktail hour through the last dance of the night. He was there hours before the event began and was still there when we were packed up and leaving. Gary’s background as a radio DJ means he has the attention to detail to make sure your party is running smoothly and ON TIME throughout the night. Gary was fantastic!! He is out of state, so we initially did not ask him to be the DJ at our wedding. 3 weeks before our big day our DJ had some unforeseen circumstances take place and he had to back out. Gary was referred to us by some mutual friends and he instantly stepped in. He calmed our last minute nerves by meeting with us via zoom and several phone calls to ensure our day and timeline was perfect. He not only showed up and delivered, he was so much fun! He helped coordinate the entire day, and had everyone out on the dance floor having a good time. We gave him some ideas of songs and music we liked but basically let him run with it, and he killed it! We loved every song that was played, and danced until they closed the party down. I would recommend him to anyone!! Best decision ever!!

Gary was the absolute best! He’s a genuine, great guy and was so easy to connect with leading up to the event. Communication leading up to the event was so smooth and there was never a time I felt like we were on a different page. He was also never pushy, he always wanted what was best for our night! Gary was absolutely wonderful to work with! The line of communication was open from the day we considered booking him all the way through are big day! He was quick to respond and open to any and all requests we made. Our situation was unique (thanks in part to Covid) and due to our desire to have a low key atmosphere. We did NOT want to be the center of attention on our dance floors. Gary gracefully abided by our request for no first dances, speeches, or big intros and did exactly what we asked for. He provided the music for our party and made sure our guests had a fantastic time with no interruptions. The party went off with out a hitch and I’m still hearing about the fun our families had thanks to Gary!
