Great Day Productions staff did an amazing job packing the dance floor at our wedding! We had both MC and DJ package and they took care of the details in coordinating our reception and ensuring we were on time with speeches, dances, cake cutting, etc. The MC carried my plate through the buffet so I did not spill anything on my dress and brought me and my husband our signature cocktail drinks. They kept the dance floor packed from the moment dancing started to the end of the reception. We took their recommendation on doing the game to start getting guests involved and doing the private moment at the end of the night and we highly recommend doing both. Thank you Great Day for making our guests have a great time celebrating.

Great Day Productions is an awesome DJ service for your wedding. We hired them for our daughter's wedding in October 2018 and they were awesome. The MC (Master of Ceremonies) was fabulous! He really did an fantastic job and the DJ kept the music flowing. The owner of the company is great to work with and you wont have anything to worry about. They will listen to what you want and make suggestions if you're unsure and need a little help. Every thing was flawless. We couldn't be happier and proudly recommend them to anyone.

They were a pleasure working with. The small details this company does helps make your day go great. You not only get a dj, but you also get an MC. So you don’t have to worry about your dj trying to play music and do the mc roll as well. Our Mc was Alex, and he was FANTASTIC! I felt like he was apart of the wedding party. He checked in on us, let us know when something was going to happen, answered any questions my husband and I had. Everyone of my guest raved about the ice braker game we played (definitely do that!!) They offer a private moment and again, definitely do that. To have the room empty so it was just my husband and I to have a moment, was the perfect ending to a perfect day!

I cannot say enough about Great Day Productions! Chris, our emcee, was the best thing that could have happened to our wedding day. He did everything and was everywhere. I thought I was going to need to be more involved in directing the evening and I didn't, Chris handled everything and made me feel like my only job was to have fun.

Great Day Productions did a fantastic job at my wedding. There was a MC and a DJ to cover the night. The MC met us at the door with a smile and his introduction. He was very patient with us but allowed for everything to move smoothly! The DJ also played great music that kept the dance floor packed all night long! Together they were a great team and the perfect addition to our special day!

We got married May 28th and Great Day was fantastic to work with! We met with them about a year in advance of the wedding to get a plan together and then I did not have to meet with them again, via phone, until 2 weeks before the wedding. At our first meeting they gave me their reception flow of events and from there I felt totally comfortable that they knew what they were doing. They usually do the first dance song right when the bride and groom walk in, but my venue does dinner on the dance floor, so they were great at rearranging the schedule. The MC and DJ were great all night, and they periodically checked in with me about little details just to make sure I was ok with things and all was good! And the ice breaker game was a HUGE hit, everyone loved it!! Thanks again for a great time!

My husband and I were married in Oxford, Ohio, in late May of 2015. We live out of state so our reception site recommended A Great Day Productions. I was unable to meet Bill (the owner) in person, but I spoke on the phone with him several times prior to the wedding. I created a detailed itinerary for my wedding party for the day of the wedding, and on the itinerary I included Bill's phone number. Though Bill was not the DJ who would be at our wedding, Bill assured me that I should use his phone number in case of emergency, and he refused to provide me with the DJ's phone number. On the day of the wedding, my mother had a copy of my itinerary and knew the DJ was supposed to be there by 5pm. Yet, 5pm had rolled around, and no one was present. My bridesmaid and mother called Bill over and over again to figure out what was going on -- but NO answer. He did not call back until around 2am. The DJ never attempted to call me or the venue to explain why he was late. Finally, around 7pm (a full TWO HOURS late), the DJ arrived. He was not dressed professionally and was completely flustered. Though I was furious about the tardiness (it was totally throwing off our timeline plus causing major stress), it would have been slightly better had the DJ been at all prepared. I had practiced pronunciations with Bill just three days prior! The DJ got close to 50% of our names wrong! It was embarrassing. He also did not have the revised schedule/timeline that I had given Bill earlier that week, and he kept making mistakes. The service was totally unprofessional and terrible. I will say that Bill was very apologetic the next day and completely refunded me. Would NOT recommend.

All of our events went very smoothly with our MC. The only problem was that we had a young DJ and our entrance song was played way too long. Other than that the party went all night and our "ice breaker" game was a huge hit!

I knew the guys from Great Day Productions from years ago working with them. I knew they were amazing with the weddings I had a chance to work along side of them with and it was NO different with my own wedding. I actually did not talk to another DJ. We used Matt as our DJ and the process of picking songs, communicating any questions... everything was seamless and smooth - which is great because it is ONE less thing to worry about. We were able to pick all of the songs we wanted, Matt was incredible with our family and wedding guests on the day of - I heard NO complaints and everyone had a great time celebrating. They kept the mood from the time we were introduced, people were eating all the way to the last dance. They even encouraged us to have a special dance at the end and it was beyond one of the best moments of my life with my now-husband. If you want to take the drama out of planning, these are your guys - seriously. They are the best. :)

What can I say? They Rocked! Everyone is still talking out our reception. Jonah was our MC and he did a fabulous job. He made annoucements as the wedding party entered the hall and it was so much fun. They played the music we liked and were able to play the non-tradional songs that I requested. They took the headache out of the wedding entertainment. And trust me-it was entertaining!!! They kept our wedding on track. I would definately recommend for any type of DJ service you may need. They worked with us so well. The MC and DJ were amazing and made sure everyone had a great night. The party pack was a great idea. Beyond pleased that I choose them as our entertainment for the evening.

Bill (the owner) is amazing to work with. He promptly returns calls and very cordial and polite. Matt was our MC and he was fantastic! He kept the dance floor full! The games were amazing! Our guests had a blast! Our first dance was choreographed. We missed a part so we ended early. They cut the song perfectly so it looked like that was the finale, instead of a screw up. When it came to the end of the night, he was ready to play the final song we requested but he saw that people were saying goodbye to us so he stalled a little with another song so that my husband and I could have a great last dance!

I would never choose another DJ to work with. Bill provided a DJ and an MC who together made our reception flow perfectly. The MC made sure I never wanted for anything and even was able to make the room cooler on one of the hottest days of the summer. Our guests are raving about how much fun they had at our wedding, and I know that was largely due to Great Day Productions!

Great Day Productions is without a doubt THE BEST DJ service out there. Their attention to detail is second to none, and their successful order of events made our reception flow so smoothly. Our MC was Andy and he was absolutely wonderful! He made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night, including walking us through the buffet line, making sure we had beverages, and ensuring all the evening's event flowed according to our expectations. The ice breaker they did to get our guests involved was hilarious, and I can't wait to see our wedding video to have a replay. Both Andy and the other DJ were fun and great to work with, and they accommodated our every need. Don't go with any other DJ service in Cincinnati. Great Day is top notch, all the way around, and budget friendly too!

I would definitely recommend Great Day Productions. We had both a DJ and an MC. Our MC, Andy did a spectacular job of helping us to make sure the night ran smoothly. Neither of us had ever thrown a party this big before, and I was concerned about fitting everything in and the timing of everything while still leaving enough time to enjoy the dance floor (e.g. The Father/Daughter Dance, etc.). Andy met us at the door when we arrived with the bridal party. He lined us all up for our entrances and then literally took it from there and put our ideas and visions into place for us. He was very attentive and open to our questions. He was great about asking us what we wanted and kept in great contact with both of us, without being pushy or interrupting us when we were talking to our guests. Although there were some songs that I wish the DJ had/hadn't played, overall it was a great night and the dance floor was full the whole time! :) Also, the owner of the company showed up at one point to check to check in with us and make sure that everything was going okay. I thought that was a nice added touch. :)

It was great to have them at the reception. We did not have to worry about what was going to be done next. The music was for all ages.

Did a "Great" job... lots of dancing... kept the party moving along... some really good suggestions... but let us add our own creative input too. During final run through... insist on slowing things down to be sure small details that are important to you are not overlooked.

they upgraded our package at no charge, AND were able to stay an extra hour at the reception! loved all the music that was played! They messed up our (the bride and groom) intro music going into the reception, but our entrance was still spectacular!

We were lucky to get such a great DJ and MC. They knew what we wanted to hear without us even telling them. Everyone had so much fun dancing that they did not even realize that desert had been served. The party pack was a great deal!

We went to a wedding in Cincinnati where Great Day was DJ-ing, and we immediately wanted to see if they would travel to Columbus for our wedding. They were willing to travel for very minimal compensation, and it was so, so worth it! Our reception went so much more smoothly than we could have ever hoped. They kept people on the dance floor and made sure everyone was having a wonderful time. Highly, highly recommended!

The wedding music was perfect and the DJ had everyone involved with a scavanger hunt that was a blast. Plus I won and now my husband has grocery shopping for three months.
