It was an absolute pleasure to work with Great Family Artist for our wedding. We hired Great Family Reunion 10 piece band for our reception entertainment, the string trio for our ceremony and happy hour, and MC for our dinner. WOW! -  Our dance floor was on fire all night long. From classic rock, oldies, country...this band is so talented and has every genre of music mastered. Not only are they very talented, but also very professional and easy to work with. GFA is very diligent in working hard to create your vision for your special day. As the bride and groom, we felt very comfortable leaving our entertainment for the night in their hands. I appreciate their hard work in learning new songs for us, professional MC work during dinner, and the classical and timeless instrumental talent on the strings for our ceremony. This band is the full package, you won't be disappointed !! 10/10 recommend for your special day. 

We had the absolute best experience with Jonathan and his band!! From our very first conversation, Jonathan’s energy and excitement were contagious. He went above and beyond - visiting our venue ahead of time, getting to know us personally, and always being available whenever we had questions. Our planner even said she’s never worked with a band as professional and dedicated as their team. On the wedding day, the band crushed it- the dance floor was packed all night, and we didn’t hear a single bad song. Guests are still talking about how amazing the music was. Jonathan and his team truly made our night unforgettable.  We wholeheartedly recommend Jonathan and his band to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and fun group to make their day perfect!!! My wife and I hired Great Family Artists for our wedding day and they were absolutely fantastic! Taylor, Lily, Bryan and the whole team was awesome to work with. They made the process really easy and stress free by engaging with us early on in the planning process and steering us in the right direction with all of the music decisions. They did a mix of live music and tracked music seamlessly for our ceremony, a second line march with horns for our grand entrance (which everyone loved so much) and played an amazing and fun set on the dance floor. Great Family Artists just played at our Rocky Mountain wedding and they were AMAZING! The team was easy to work with from the start, and they curated an amazing vibe on the dance floor. Throughout the night guests kept complementing us on how fantastic our band was!

We used Great Family for our wedding. We chose a 10-piece band and could not have been happier!! They absolutely CRUSHED it. We worked with them leading up to the event where they really took the time to understand us and our music style. It was a homerun with people dancing from the first song to the last song. Absolutely epic! Could not recommend enough :)

GFA was INCREDIBLE!! We hired them to perform at our wedding in Vail and were truly one of the greatest highlights from our day. The set list was amazing, they kept the dance floor packed all night, and our guests still can’t stop talking about how fantastic the band was. From the beginning, the team was so communicative and easy to work with- we loved the way they built our set list using our taste of music, while still allowing us to be surprised on the day. The musicians are each amazing and so versatile, and they did such a great job keeping the party going and the crowd engaged! My husband is a musician and surprised me by playing two songs at the reception- the GFA team was so helpful in coordinating this surprise and bringing his vision to life. We truly couldn’t imagine our day without GFA. They are an absolute must book!!!

GFA came to my wedding in Steamboat Springs this summer. May I just say... WOW!! They delivered all night long, and everyone from the moment they started to ended the night were raving about how it was the best wedding band they'd seen. We took a long time researching and looking at different bands because its a big wedding expense and we wanted them to be awesome. Ultimately the reason we went with GFA is because we had high confidence that they would be great - we'd seen them at another wedding, and their communication is extremely professional and prompt. They made the entire process SO easy, set up several calls with us and kept us on track with sending them our elected songs when we procrastinated it lol. They were very flexible when I changed my mind way too many times on first dance songs and sent the cuts for each song to practice with within 24 hours of asking for them. We had them for both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and entire reception. You will not regret booking GFA. They were absolutely the best part of our wedding, and I'm seriously considering trying to fly them out for my sister's wedding next summer. They not only had the most angelic and talented voices, all of the instruments were excellent (we LOVED the saxophone too!!!) but they also brought the energy and fun and kept the crowd laughing and entertained the full night. I can't also understate how valuable it is to have very great communicators on your vendor team for your wedding - there's a lot going on, and having folks you can count on is worth paying for and reducing stress day of.

GFA performed at our wedding in Boulder earlier this month and they were the highlight of the day. We have been to several weddings all over the country with bands and GFA is by far the best one. So many people have made comments that they’ve never seen every single guest (and we had 161) on the dance floor and having so much fun. So many conversations after the wedding consisted of sharing what everyone’s favorite song the band played and we all decided it was too hard to choose because they were all bangers. Working with GFA leading up to the wedding was a complete breeze. They were prompt with email responses and incredibly professional. This band was worth every penny and we highly recommend booking them for your special day.

The Family Band NYC was the ultimate wedding band for live music lovers like my husband and I - they BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN!! We literally danced our hearts out. They rocked so hard. Every single person we spoke to RAVED! I'm not exaggerating when I say they made our wedding, keeping the fun, energy and funk going all night long. Beyond the night itself, planning with the team was seamless and we felt so heard and taken care of. They are meticulously organized and thoughtful. We can't recommend the GFA team enough - thank you!!!

GFA was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Their team is so nice and extremely professional and the band is insanely talented. They truly were one of the biggest highlights from our wedding and I think just about every guest went out of their way to tell us how much they loved the band. They played all of our favorite hits, the first dance songs were perfect, and they kept the dance floor full all night. This was hands down one of our favorite experiences throughout our wedding process working with Great Family Artists! Seriously such a joy getting to meet with them, and that was all even prior to the actual big day! They learned our special songs we wanted to hear, the vocals *chefs kiss,* the entire band was absolutely incredible!! Phenomenal! My son and his fiance hired Great Family Artists for their Aug. 2, 2025 wedding. This was the best decision they made for their wedding. Great Family Artists were professional from start to finish. As the mother of the groom who is also in the wedding business, I have never witnessed a better wedding band. Guests told me they felt like they were at a music concert. The energy and music from the band had everyone on the dance floor all night. Made for memories of a lifetime.

I truly could not recommend more highly hiring Great Family Artist for your wedding or event. Brian, Taylor, and the entire GFA team were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. My wife and I were super happy after our initial “music taste/preference” call, knowing that the Music Coordinator, Taylor, had a great read on what we wanted, didn’t want, and the general vibe we were looking for. From there, Brian, along with the GFA team, worked seamlessly on scheduling, band selection, and administrative items to keep everything perfectly on track. Everything from the Friday welcome party to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and certainly the reception were all perfect! The Reception!!!! We had the GFA 10 piece, with horn section, and they absolutely killed it. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, and the band really played on and hyped the crowds energy. They were also stunningly good musicians. Everyone from the drummer to vocalists were amazing! The band was far and away the most highly talked about and complimented aspect of our wedding. The GFA team made the process easy and help us feel super comfortable throughout what was unquestionably the most stressful event of our lives to plan. But what’s really most important is that the GFA team helped to create some of the best memories of our life, and gave me, my wife, and our friends one of the most epic parties ever!

Music plays such an important role in our lives, and we always knew we wanted a live band for our wedding. After the venue, the band was our #1 priority. Jonathan and the rest of the GFR team made us feel like family from our initial consultation all the way through the big day. We met with several bands before signing with GFR, but what set them apart from the others - incredible musical talent aside - was their interest in us, our story, and curating a musical experience that was authentically us. They are the only band we met with that said they would be part of the planning process from the moment we signed until our wedding day, and this team makes you feel like you are their only client. Their responsiveness was unmatched, and when we met over the phone or via video call they were 100% present and invested in what we were working together to create. When they tell you that you are getting a customized musical performance on your wedding day, they DELIVER on what they sell. To do the team justice, we have to give credit where credit is due to everyone at GFR that helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives. With the plethora of talented wedding bands out there in the NYC metro area, GFR separated themselves from the rest. Our first impression of GFR was established through our initial consultation and follow up conversations with Jonathan, the owner and an original band member. Not only did he make himself personally available to us for questions, to bounce ideas off of, and to incorporate changes along the way, he also took time out of his day one weekday to meet my wife and I in the city for lunch. Jonathan embodies “family” in the Great Family Artists brand. It was such a wonderful surprise when we saw him behind the curtain ahead to the ceremony. He ended up being there all the way through our private last dance (which he was kind enough to capture photos and videos of and shared them with us after). Taylor is a wizard on the music curation side. Not only did he accommodate every last one of our song requests but he was meticulous with his execution, dictating specific arrangements, introductions, transitions to songs based on the way we envisioned them. Taylor arranged a night of music that felt all our own from the first strum of the guitar at the processional to the final symbol outro of our last dance. Bryan and Lily’s logistical coordination was unmatched. We worked through every minute of the day from when the band arrived on site, through the rehearsal, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They were a sounding board for ideas, and they helped build out a structure to the day. So what about the band?! These are PERFORMERS. Great Family Artists is not only sonically the most impressive band we’ve heard at a wedding (no bias), but they follow through with the same level professionalism and attention to detail we encountered with the planning team. They nailed every detail of the night. Throughout the evening, every time we took a moment to step back and appreciate their performance, they all looked like they were having an incredible time together. On vocals we had Emily, Wayne, and Seth. Each brought their own style and flare to the performance, while also engaging in gorgeous, seamlessly executed harmonies. Each and every instrument was ON POINT. The range of both the instrumentalists and vocalists was so impressive. Every age group was on that dance floor from the moment it opened until last call.

Great Family Artists were an absolute highlight of our wedding. They were so easy to work with and made sure that everything from pre planning to event day was seamless and exactly what we wanted. They ROCK and there was not a moment they were playing that the dance floor was not packed. We received countless compliments from our guests about how incredible the band was and many of them wanted to use them for their future weddings. We are so grateful for GFA making our event so special and we would 100% recommend them to anyone else.

GFA was the MOST complimented part of our wedding! No one left the dance floor the entire night. They produced all music, mics, and speakers throughout our whole night and the guest absolutely loved it. Prelude music was beautiful, cocktail hour was a hit, and the dancing was perfection. They are some of the most talented artists and worth EVERY PENNY. We worked with multiple folks during our planning period - all were great. They were communicative, prompt, and walked us through the entire planning process to ensure everything went off as it should. We had the absolute pleasure of having Great Family Artists perform for my grandfather’s 90th birthday celebration, and I cannot say enough good things about them! From quoting with Jonathan to music selections with Taylor to logistics with Bryan, they went above and beyond to make the event unforgettable. The party was a 1920s-era themed celebration with 100 guests, and not only did they coordinate their attire perfectly to match the theme, but they also curated a stunning setlist tailored to our requests. They took the time to learn older songs to appeal to the crowd and handled on-the-spot requests with ease, showcasing their incredible versatility and talent. Even though the event took place on a Sunday afternoon (2-6 PM), they brought the energy, got the crowd moving, and created an atmosphere that felt electric and true to the vibe of the era. Their sound engineer also ensured that everything was seamless, and the quality of music was truly unmatched no matter where you were in the room. As a wedding and event planner, I know firsthand that the vendors you choose make all the difference—and when vendors choose other vendors for their personal events, it’s the highest testament to their caliber and professionalism. I am so glad we chose Great Family Artists. They delivered beyond expectations, and I would highly recommend them for any event where top-tier musicianship and a flawless experience are a must!

Great Family Artists brought the party to life and kept the dance floor going all night. We first saw them perform at our friend’s wedding and knew they were a must for ours. They exceeded our expectations in every category. Each musician/artist was exceptional and they learned a few specific songs for us and absolutely crushed it, they also play a mean Hora. Almost every guest approached us saying “That’s the best band I have ever seen at a wedding”. It honestly felt like a concert and the dance floor was flooded the entire night. The DJ hour at the end was icing on the cake. They handled everything audio wise and it was all perfect and professional. Communication was easy and they made the entire process fun and less stressful. Book this group, you will have zero regrets!

This is the best team of people that we could ask for: musicians and artists the night of for sure, but also more than amazing at helping us coordinate the logistics, the timeline, being in three locations for ceremony and cocktail hour and reception, and just really truly kept us sane and organized as they "MC'd" our wedding before and during the event. I'd recommend over and over, and just truly love the many people that were there the night of (I believe ten in total with the sound person?) They were brilliant.

They were accommodating and allowed us to attend an event to preview the band prior to our wedding day. We haven’t stopped receiving texts from our guests that our wedding was the first that they had attended where the dance floor was never empty! They provided the energy and excitement we were looking for and were impressive from start to finish. From the start, GFA communicated with us exceptionally well and made us feel really comfortable that they were our selection to perform at our wedding in Vail. At the wedding, they exceeded all of our expectations! Every member of the band was extremely talented and the band itself shared the stage perfectly together. Where do I begin?! Music was the most important part for my husband and me, and after phone calls with a number of different bands, Great Family Artists was the obvious choice! They were so detail oriented and went out of their way to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Their music selection was also so extensive, and on top of that they were even willing to learn 2-3 songs of our choosing for our big day! A friend of ours also sang 2 songs at our wedding and Great Family Artists met with him to ensure he killed it on stage! The dance floor never died down and the energy was constant and that's all thanks to Great Family Artists (I even crowd surfed)!!!

Great Family Artists brought down the house for our CO wedding! We received so many compliments during our wedding night about GFA - “the band is incredible”, “this is the best wedding music and band ever”, “the lead singer is so good” and so much more praise. They made our big day a huge party and celebration! Guests of all ages were dancing all night and the dance floor was completely packed. There were even hotel guests dancing in the hallway outside of our venue because the music was so good! They elevated all aspects of our event, from the gracefulness of the three string quartet during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, to the professionalism and energy of them MC’ing our reception, to the talent and amazing set list of the 8 person band they delivered during our reception. They also made the entire planning process easy and stress free. We worked with Taylor and Bryan to plan the music for the entire day and to ensure each aspect had the correct vibe we were looking for. GFA more than delivered, they care about their clients and want to curate the perfect day for you. I cannot recommend them enough!

What can we say? Best wedding band of all time!! Our wedding guests could not stop.. (and two months later are STILL) talking about how incredible the band was. From the moment we decided on Great Family Reunion, Bryan and Taylor were helpful and accommodating every step of the way. There’s no need to look any further for a band because when you hire GFR you and your guests are guaranteed to have an amazing experience. Your guests will never want to leave the dance floor! SO MUCH FUN and 5 stars doesn’t do them justice!
