orts fields all precede it. It seems quite small until you realize there are some unique trails that provide access to an overlook of the Lynnhaven Bay. There are the standard playground and basketball courts, as well as overhead shelters. The abundance of natural vegetation and trees lead me to rank this as one of the best parks in the city if you are looking for a place to take a serene walk in the morning, or to get away from city life. The hidden trail to the water, and the awesome gazebo, are two great characteristics that make this park stand out.

Very well maintained park. When we visited one path was closed for repairs. Playground is best suited for toddlers and little kids.

My one negative is that we asked if there was another chair due to one at our table leaning and squeaking, but the wedding planner said that they only left her the exact amount.
