This is a lovely lodge with wood paneling in large rooms that gives them a cozy feel. We heard the loons at night with the back windows open, so overall a nice stay.
There are just a few things could make it a bigger hit. It would be helpful to...
have electrical outlets near the beds. Another small desk or dresser or nightstand, some sort of flat surface for laying out bags and toiletries. The one small desk just wasn’t enough. “Breakfast” was pretty wimpy, but the coffee was good.

We stayed at Great Pines Resort for 5 nights in July. Our room, a family suite with bunk beds, was in the upstairs of the main lodge. The lodge is so cozy, comfortable, clean. The breakfast nook was stocked, including bagels with cream cheese, ...
cereals, hot coffee, milk + creamers, plates + utensils. There is also a convenient water bottle refill station + ice machine. We checked everything off on our bucket list, including a campfire with s’mores, fishing off the dock, kayaking. We also rented a pontoon boat and docked it at the resort for the week and had no trouble with finding space to dock. The Resort was ready with all the things you need during your stay. We hope to return soon!
