From our initial conversation, to finalizing details and music selections a few weeks before our wedding date, to our actual wedding day. DJ Rich is literally perfect. Not only did he help us with all of our questions leading up to the wedding but the day of felt so easy. What we loved most about Rich was his ability to read the crowd and keep everyone moving. There wasn't a moment that went by where he didn't have the dance floor PACKED. He is a delight to work with and a truly talented DJ. He also has everything you need to enhance your day from lighting to photo booths to 360 cameras etc. After our wedding the number 1 thing our guests raved about was the music and just what an awesome time it was. I was recommended them ten times over. 10/10!

Gia was amazing! She really got the party going at our wedding with her amazing energy and perfect song choices! She even created a beautiful monogram for us- she's so kind, creative, and talented!!! Booking Richard was the best decision we made for our wedding. He did such an incredible job, I’m still getting compliments about how great he was for our wedding 2 months ago! We used GPE for our wedding on New Years Eve 12/31/22. We reached out and got in touch with Gia. I saw Gia DJ one of my friends wedding and her energy, style, mixing was radiant. Gia said we could trial her, so he told of us a Bar she was DJing at locally so we went out and heard her stuff. We instantly fell in love, we were dancing at the bar, loved her mixes and she had everybody enjoying themselves. We knew she would be able to mirror this on our wedding day. The process was very professional, we had several calls so she could ensure our needs were met. Believe me, they were. We had maybe the best wedding of all time thanks to her driving the dance floor. The dance floor was packed all night long. This was due to her sending us a sheet that we filled out with our needs, dislikes etc. She hit every nail on the head. She also mixes live so everything just flowed perfectly, it felt like we were at a club. Her set up was very professional and she had no problem pepping up the crowd and getting on the dance floor with us. 5/5 - If I ever get married again ;) Gia from GPE would be my pick!

If I could have given six stars, I would have. Rich was AMAZING at my wedding on November 18th, and kept everyone on the dancefloor. He is one of the best DJs I have ever heard, and I am still getting so many compliments. He was also extremely easy to access throughout the planning process, and his upbeat, energetic attitude was so appreciated, and you can tell he loves what he does. He is extremely knowledgeable, and shares his expertise as you plan your big day in a respectful way, that only left us feeling even better about him! I have recommended GP Entertainment a few times already, and will continue to do so.

We met Rich and Greater Purpose Entertainment at another wedding we were at and loved what he did so we had to hire him for ours. We had a great experience working with Gia, and we would highly recommend booking her as your DJ! From our first meeting, Gia was extremely professional and worked with us to make sure we could find the right mix of music for our celebration. Our event included guests from multiple backgrounds/cultures, and Gia made sure that everyone felt included and involved in the music choices. During the planning phase, Gia was quick to respond to any questions we posed, and took the time to go over all of the details of the evening beforehand (and was also very accommodating when a few of those details changed a few days before the event). She is also, of course, a wonderful DJ! We knew in advance that ours would not be the most "dance-y" crowd, but Gia found ways to get folks on the dance floor in a way that made everyone feel comfortable. She included music from all the genres we had requested throughout the evening, including Persian music :) She also helped to manage the pace of our event by making a few announcements here and there so folks knew when to transition from the cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. Thank you for everything you did to make our event so enjoyable!

We used Greater Purpose Entertainment for our wedding in March, and Rich is UNMATCHED! Rich is very professional and made sure that I (as the bride) had nothing to worry about throughout our big day. The ceremony and reception were flawless and Rich kept our minds at ease. We had a wide range of guests and Rich made sure everyone was up and dancing all night! We will definitely be using Rich & GP Entertainment in the future and I will be recommending to everyone we know!

We got married on March 11th and let me tell you how impressed and happy we were with our DJ Rich! Rich stayed in communication with me prior to the wedding and helped me a lot building timeline and always available when I had questions! He made sure my reception was exactly what I envisioned and helped a stressing bride the whole night especially with organizing our entrances ! My one wish was to have every guest out their seat and dancing and Rich did just that! His playlist was amazing and he knew how to set the vibe! I had seen him at two other friends weddings and kept his card for when it was my big day! I recommend him 10 out of 10! My night was perfect and had a large part to do with him!

What to even write for a review for DJ Gia and Videographer Mike… exceptional and exceeded our highest expectation is all I can think of! I was pretty specific with the type of feel and music I wanted played at our wedding and Gia did not disappoint. From the moment the dance floor opened, everyone was up and dancing and never sat back down. It was a constant dance party, everything you could ever want. People were constantly coming up to me throughout the night saying how amazing the music and DJ was. And Mike was there to capture all of our special moments. They even hit the dance floor themselves! They’re truly a great team and made our wedding unforgettable. Do yourselves and your guests a favor and book Gia and Mike!!!

My husband and I booked DJ Rich last minute for our wedding on 10/1/21, and truly thank God he was available!! 5 stars doesn't even cut it! Mike & Gia Savidge were such an amazing team to work with and exceeded all of our expectations for our June 2021 wedding. From the start of our planning process, the wedding day and post wedding follow up, Mike & Gia were always engaged in their work, communicative and just as excited as we were. We received so many compliments from friends and family about them! We highly recommend GP Entertainment for anyone looking for a guaranteed good time and a vendor team who is a pleasure to work with!

Greater Purpose entertainment was phenomenal! Richard is a great DJ and gave us a great setup! He is highly skilled at what he does and was very personal and helpful with the people involved. COVID definitely complicated things as the event got closer and Rich was only ever accommodating and helpful. He was quick to respond to emails and texts which was so helpful! The wedding start to finish felt seamless thanks to Rich’s coverage of the day. Everyone had a blast and it was a night to remember! Would highly recommend Greater Purpose entertainment!

DJ Gia was fantastic! We were scrambling after our original venue & DJ cancelled on us due to COVID, and I was very fortunate to get in contact with Gia. She was very responsive, professional, and helpful to get everything in order to put together a spectacular wedding reception. She played all the right music, everyone was having fun, and knows how to pump a crowd up. Overall, you will get a respectful, professional, and helpful experience from start to finish, and you and your guest will have an absolute blast with DJ Gia!

Hiring GP Entertainment for our February 2020 wedding was one of the best decisions that we could have made for our big day. Rich was professional and adhered to all of our music requests. We are a young, hip-hop and r&b loving couple who wanted our wedding to have a both a family cook-out and a huge party vibe that us and our guests would never forget. There was specific music that we wanted played and Rich effectively played everything we requested and more throughout the night. At one point, after salads and before dinner was served, he had to turn the music off briefly just to get us off the dance floor! While there is so much work and planning that goes into a wedding, what really makes the night is the music! I can honestly say that GP Entertainment was the icing on the cake for us. We will never forget how none of us wanted to leave the venue because we were having so much fun. DJ Rich did an amazing job! The music selection was wonderful and he played all of the songs we had asked for. I feel he made the night run more smoothly because he knew how to keep things moving and knew what needed to be done. I would recommend him to anyone!

GP Entertainment was a great hire! Rich was very easy to work with and incredibly responsive. Our requests were met, our outdoor set up for the ceremony worked beautifully, and we danced the night away!

DJ Rich helped us have an amazing wedding!! We first heard DJ Rich at a friends wedding and instantly knew we wanted him for our wedding. Our wedding was 1/3/20 and we couldn’t be happier with our choice in a DJ. I booked him year early and he mentioned his routine and that he would reach out before the wedding and he did as promised. I was unsure about of lot details about who walks down the aisle first and who does and doesn’t get announced in the reception. He was so amazingly helpful! If it weren’t for him I know my wedding ceremony wouldn’t have been nearly as organizing. He also was very in tune with the type of music we like with only a few minor details about us. DJ Rich really knows how to get a crowd into the music, people who don’t even like to dance couldn’t resist the music is he was playing. We also rented a photobooth from GP Entertainment which was a hit! They have great props and then send you all the pictures after the wedding. It was so great seeing people have fun in the photobooth the whole night!

This review was something I have contemplated writing for a few weeks now. But I feel it is something I have to do to keep other brides informed. My husband and I used Richard after seeing his rave reviews and speaking with him on the phone. He was upfront about cost which was fantastic and was willing to work with us as we did not need his services for the full time the price allowed for. Two months before the wedding I reached out to him with a bit more information about what we were hoping for and a question I had. One of the things we specifically asked for was that we wanted guests to be invited to dance with us 90 seconds into our first dance song. He responded back promptly but dismissed all that I had written out saying that he would send me a form to fill out two weeks before the wedding. Two weeks before the wedding he sends us the form and we fill in the specific information he asks for, and a few days later he called us to discuss it. We discuss the details of our wedding and what we are hoping for, again I mentioned we wanted people to dance with us 90 seconds into our first dance together. This was the only thing I was pretty specific about and it was important to me as we loved the song and didn't want to cut it short. We mentioned a few other details and he gave us suggestions about things we weren't sure about which we appreciated. Up until this point we were pretty satisfied. The day of our wedding came and he was very friendly and helpful in getting our wedding party lined up for the intros. After the introduction to the wedding party however we were pretty disappointed with his service. After intros we went into the first dance, and he did not invite anyone to dance with us. He also stopped the music about 2 minutes into the song, even though we discussed this detail and it was mentioned many times. During the reception we had a lot of people dance at first but then about 1/3 of the way through the wedding the dance floor was almost empty and stayed that way the entire time. At one point only my husband and I were dancing. Granted this was a brunch wedding, and perhaps it could have been our guests, but he did not even attempt to get people out on the dance floor by engaging with the crowd. We asked for wedding classics and latin pop music, as well as a few specifics but by the time the specifics were played most of our guests had left. We did allow for requests, but only 2 requests were made which shouldn't have put 90% of the songs we wanted at the end. He also only played 1 slow song other than our first dance at the end of our reception, so people didn't even have a chance to do that. Overall Richard was really friendly, and easy to work with for the most part, but he did not follow through with our plan, and didn't even really try to get our guests to dance. I've been to plenty of brunch weddings where people dance, and I am pretty sure he was even a DJ at one. So maybe it was just an off day, but to be honest this is still something I think about and get sad about now and again. We just got our photos back of empty dance floors. :(

My husband and I do not have enough incredible things to say about DJ Rich. He might actually be the best DJ, ever. From day one, Rich impressed us with his high energy, passion, and approach to getting the party started. It is rare to find someone who both DJs and MCs your event, but Rich does both amazingly well, with ease! The dance floor was packed all night and he picked up on all our recommendations but also played music that mirrored our guests's interests. We had multiple people share that he was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen, a couple of our family/friends even grabbed his card for future events! We had 90 year olds to 13 year olds on the dance floor- that is not an easy task to accomplish! Additionally, the photo booth was a huge hit and they kindly stayed open for my husband and I to take a photo right at the end of the night- we appreciated that more than they know! From his fantastic customer service, attention to detail and his ability to put on an amazing party- we could not be more thankful for DJ Rich and his photo booth team! If you are getting married in the Philadelphia/NJ area you MUST hire DJ Rich and his team for your wedding!! If you don't, you are missing out on the best party of your life!!!

DJ Gia brought the house down! Let me start by saying that it is so hard as a newly engaged couple to find vendors that you 1. Get along with 2. Have the same work ethic/vision as and 3. Trust. DJ Gia and GP productions hit all 3 of these for us and more! Gia was well organized while leading up to our wedding day which was so appreciated when having to juggle a million other aspects of a wedding. On the day of, she was engaging with the crowd to help pump up the party while reading the audience to change songs as needed. There wasn’t a dull moment and we still get compliments on how awesome the reception was. I hope this review helps any bride in need of a fantastic and fun DJ but also want to give DJ Gia the shout out she deserves. Great job!

We had Richard as our DJ, and he did a very good job. He worked with us throughout the planning process and explained to us how he does his job to please both the bride & groom and the crowd. He was very good at communicating with us and played the songs we requested.

Richard is a true professional. He worked very well with our day of coordinator and ensured that every event was perfectly on time from the first dance to the cake cutting. We had a list of songs that we wanted and a general group of genres. Richard refused to play requests outside of what we wanted and kept the dance floor full until the end of the event. Our venue had some limitations on the volume level, but Richard went with our wishes and raised the volume and energy level, ensuring a fantastic night.

We met with DJ Rich from GP Entertainmenr last year for a consultation and knew immediately after that we wanted to book him for our wedding! Rich arrived early and was set up in no time for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He had an awesome monogram set up for us that incorporated our name and our New Year’s Eve themed wedding that ran all night. He had the lighting perfect for every minute of the night from ceremony to reception. He set the tone for not only the music but also for the entire wedding. DJ Rich had his work cut out for the wide variety of music taste for us and our guests & he literally had the dance floor full and nonstop all night, which is everything we hoped for with our wedding. As if all of that wasn’t enough, he broke out a fog gun at midnight on New Year’s Eve and allowed my husband and I to ring in the New Year with this awesome touch that really just put the entire night on a level we couldn’t even imagine! The next day we got to see the entire night captured from his point of view camera on Facebook and this allowed us to relive our night over and over again. This company is nothing but professional and on top of every moment for your special day. Highly recommend!

Go book Greater Entertainment right now! I cannot say enough good things about DJ Rich. Choosing him as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. He answered all my emails within 5 minutes and made sure to review everything with me in detail over the phone before the wedding day. He's a real professional that takes his work very seriously. He made our wedding truly feel like it was ours and followed all of our directions and requests. I received so many compliments from guests about his playlist choices and how he kept the party going all night long! We were working with a strict budget, and his prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of his work. DJ Rich is simply the best in the business!

We used GP Entertainment (DJ Rich) for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All three were on the same property but were at different locations across the property. Rich showed up earlier than expected and got to work right away setting up and testing his equipment - very professional and well executed . Things at the reception started off a bit slow, but DJ Rich worked hard to read the crowd and got the dance floor going. By the end of the evening, our guests were exhausted form all of the dancing. GP Entertainment knows how to throw a party!

Rich was awesome - did everything perfectly. We had a beach ceremony and he was able to set up speakers and all that jazz on the beach and you could hear everything really well. Everyone that attended raved about the music Thank you!

My Husband and I hired Richard to be our wedding DJ. You know a DJ is great when they got the middle aged Asian man and woman on the dance floor. Everyone expressed about how much fun they had. Richard is completely committed to his clients. I heard my husband say he even stayed in North Jersey overnight to make traveling easier. He was at my venue on time and ready to set up and everything went on without a hitch. You definitely get a lot more personalized service with Richard than some random entertainment company that sends you their intern.

Rich was amazing. We were so nervous about the flow of the ceremony and reception as we didn't have a great rehearsal, but Rich coordinated everything the day of. He kept people dancing the whole night and even broke out some moves himself! Not to mention the photobooth - people went crazy over it..great props and nice frames. Everyone had such a great time thanks to him!

Rich and GP entertainment made our wedding so much fun! It was very important to my husband and I to keep the guest dancing all night! And Rich did just that. We used Greater Purpose Entertainment for our wedding in April 2018 and to say they were the best choice, is an understatement. Rich was so detail oriented. He spoke with me about every last detail before the day. He mentioned things I never even thought of. Not only is he super knowledgeable about the inner workings of a wedding day, but he was able to customize our day. Never once did he make me feel like I was being a pain when I asked my thousands of questions. Most of all, my guests said that the dancing was super fun and the music was amazing. My husband and I got married in August of 2018 in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Richard was AMAZING. He was a consummate professional from the first time we contacted him months prior to the wedding to the moment we said goodbye. He was easy to work with, affable, accommodating – even when some of our guests made last-minute changes to the plans – and played the BEST music for us. We gave him a list of songs we liked and asked him to work within those genres. He had such a great mix of music that the dance floor was rocking the whole night. Richard also periodically checked in with us throughout the night, asking if we wanted any adjustments or changes. He was just a dream to have on our wedding day. His photo booth was a total hit. It looks even better in person than it does in the pictures and his props were hysterical. There was something for all age groups and personality types. With so many other anxieties and responsibilities on such an important day, Richard was a total blessing for us. I recommend him without reservation! You'd be a fool NOT to hire him.

Richard was an amazing DJ for our wedding just two weeks ago! When I initially contacted him for additional information, he called me and did a consultation and went over everything. We had the pleasure of first seeing DJ Rich of Greater Purpose Entertainment work at a friend's wedding (see Ted G's review), and had to hire him for our wedding this past April. Working with him is effortless. He'll play the music that YOU want (and believe me, we had some... different music we wanted him to play), and keep the party going. He's also an excellent MC and was out on the dance floor interacting with the crowd. He traveled from South Jersey to Brooklyn for us, was there early, and set up the ceremony (we had a couple performing a song), the cocktail hour, and the reception. Rich is awesome!!

DJ rich is one of the most entertaining and engaging guys ever! He was organized and professional all the way up to and during the wedding. He kept the crowd involved and interested during the grand entrance and throughout the rest of the evening, and played all the music we asked for and more! I would definitely recommend him for any event.

We had Rich DJ our wedding in May. We chose him based on all the rave reviews and his event videos. I spoke with him a few times before our wedding and let him know our preferred genre of music- country- but that we loved a lot of other styles as well. My fiancé and I filled out the song request list VERY thoroughly. Unfortunately, during our reception, some of the songs weren’t played at all; specially requested songs by us had to be asked for; songs we never would have chosen were played(we weren’t fans of the Spice Girls when they were “in” so it was very surprising to hear them played during our wedding); and our favorite genre of music was basically ignored. Very few of our guests danced, so that was a little disappointing. I’m not sure if something was “off”, but it definitely appeared to be. Positives: he arrived very early to set up and everything looked great; he was dressed very professionally and did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony songs; the lighting was subtle and pretty; they were very reasonably priced; and the photo booth vendor they bundled with our package was great and very much enjoyed by our guests(even though I’m not sure an announcement was made about the service so am unsure all our guests knew it was there). I did provide feedback to a Rich and hope that in the future they stay truer to the songs requested and steer clear of any type of “vanilla” wedding song playlists.

Richard and his team were incomparable! Our wedding was absolutely amazing thanks to Richard's attention to detail. He made sure we found the exact versions of songs we wanted. They had the whole wedding dancing the whole night. They knew when to insert their energy and when to hang back. His communication style made the evening flow seamlessly. Richard and his team are awesome. They DJ'd our wedding reception on 1/27. All of our guests were so impressed. One of my guests told me that they wished they had hired him for their wedding reception this Spring. Another guest immediately asked me for his contact information for an event she is planning. Richard was our DJ at our Jan 13 wedding, and he did an absolutely amazing job!! Everything went flawlessly and he kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. He read the crowd perfectly and knew exactly what music to play and when to switch it up. He also was awesome at fitting in our specific requests for songs at the perfect times. Gia is hand down the best DJ I've seen! She did her homework previous to our wedding and made sure she understood our music preferences and our guests backgrounds. Half of our guests were puerto rican and the other half african american. She made sure she played music for everybody and created a great balance with her selection. Everybody had a blast. My name is Rob and my husbands name is Rick. On November 4th 2017 Mr Richard Holmes was the FANTASTIC DJ for our wedding. Not only did Richard make our wedding the best it could possibly be (said from most of our guests as well), he even made a little video of the day and night and it was absolutely amazing. He really knows how to play the right music to create an awesome dance party. He allowed us to fill out a form prior to make sure our favorite songs would play, but also took requests throughout the night. Richard made our wedding so much fun, and compared to what we heard from some of our other friends, he was THE BEST price out there. We highly recommend him!

We hired Richard to DJ my daughter's wedding and could not have been more pleased. He provided a family-friendly mix that had everyone dancing the entire evening. Gia is the best DJ EVER! my husband and I had such a great time on our wedding, all our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been, and big part of it was thanks to Gia. I am Brazilian and she played Brazilians songs and even came to dance with me for a little bit. She saved our ceremony by stepping up when one of the musicians couldn’t come. She put the right songs in the right moment. For our grand entrance she made sure to get all the crowed riled up, everyone clapping and happy. Gia is awesome, we love her! And if you want your wedding to be awesome you should contact them ASAP!

We couldn't have been happier with Rich on our wedding day. He was all smiles and excitement while being a "diva" as he would call it, while keeping everything in line. The venue commented on how ontop of everything he was, as he made sure our day was our day and it all ran smoothly. We have a few friends getting married in the future and they all said that if their dj can't break dance like Rich can they'll be disappointed. If you need a dj who truly cares about his name, business, reputation and your big day, there's no other option. My 3 year old even commented on his dance moves "he was really cool!" We're going to a wedding this weekend he's doing and know dancing won't be a problem!

I was married on November 4th, 2017. My husband and I had the opportunity to have Gia Coney, DJ our wedding. It exceeded our expectations. Gia told me during our first meeting that she was a recent newlywed and understood how often brides are bothered with unnecessary questions and would contact me at least 2 weeks before our wedding. At first I thought this was strange not to hear from a vendor for so long but I could not be more thankful for her distance. A wedding is a ton of work and while it may seem strange that a vendor leaves you be for a bit, it is welcome!!! When our wedding was two weeks out, Gia was on her A-game! She got in contact with me right away and sent me a questionnaire for the wedding. We filled it out and had a phone consolation with her prior to the wedding. My husband and I have very different musical tastes and she made it all work. She also suggested answers to some questions we struggled with and I could not be more thankful! The day of the wedding could not have gone smoother, Gia was tasked with a last minute move at our venue and used Bluetooth speaker to service our ceremony location. The music was perfect during the ceremony and we moved to the cocktail hour. My husband and I had the opportunity to speak to Gia prior to the reception and she watched me freak out over a cake mishap. She stayed cool and calm while I was a mess over a cake disaster. The ceremony was amazing!! Gia got our guests ready for our introduction and we started to dance the night away. Can I say she is a hype-queen?!? I'm a pretty classic bride but love a little hip hop flavor now and then, my bridesmaids requested a hip hop track. Before she would approve it, Gia came over and asked me if the song was "Ok" to use. Nothing was getting by her on this night. Besides the awesome music geared to our adult guests, Gia took special requests for our nieces who served as flower girls. My husband and I were able to dance a few dances with them before they left for the evening. I can't say enough good things about GP Entertainment and Gia. She is a class act and it shows that she loves her job. I'm not much of dancer and I was on the dance floor the entire night. Gia was on the floor with us, dancing, singing, and adding to a fantastic night. She reads the crowd like a pro and will make sure you have a wonderful night.

We could not have been more pleased with Rich and GP Entertainment. With all the craziness that happens during a wedding, I was happy to say I didn't notice any of that! Rich oversees everything and makes sure you don't get bothered with any hiccups that might occur. All of my guests raved about him and loved how he was so interactive during the reception. Highly recommended!

Rich Holmes of GP Entertainment dj'ed our wedding on 10/1/17. I am so happy we chose him! He is an amazing DJ!! He made the venue even more beautiful with his up lighting and monogram. He was on point with the schedule of the night and definitely set the mood for our party! The dance floor did not die down thanks to his awesome dj’ing skills and the vibe he set. Even the maitre’d at our venue commented to me how amazing the DJ was. All of our guests have complimented us on our DJ choice & people who NEVER dance said they couldn't help themselves they had to get on that dance floor- I credit that to DJ Rich. Our day was perfect & this was a huge part of contributing to that. If I ever have a big party again, I'm calling GP entertainment for sure! Choose them and you will not be disappointed!!
