Those 14 hours quickly feel like 14 minutes. You only get 1 wedding. We want to help you experience every bit of that 14 hour day.
Our job extends past pretty pictures and into wedding coaching. It may be your first wedding but it's not ours. Our brides know they can rely on us to hold their hand throughout the day (sometimes literally). Making sure they aren't left wondering, "What's next?" The only thing we want our brides focused on is saying "I Do" and celebrate the best day of their life.

meone who could make us feel at ease on our big day. Unfortunately, we chose wrong. We learned the hard way that the “easy going” attitude extended beyond their demeanor when working with a client. In the year that we worked with them (setting up engagement photos, preparing for the wedding, wedding day, follow up, etc.), we had to reach out to them constantly to keep them on schedule and to hold them accountable. In the week leading up to the wedding, we had to reach out multiple times to have questions clarified and plans set in place. We did not end up hearing from them to go over final details until the day before our wedding (talk about stress considering many of our final plans revolved around the photographers and other vendors were trying to get final details). They did send us a questionnaire regarding wedding details, photo locations, “must have” photos, etc. prior to the wedding. While we do take responsibility for not specifically identifying some photo opportunities, we must say we are disappointed in some of the photos that were not taken/received that we assumed were pretty standard. For instance, we have no photos of my husband while I’m walking down the isle, no photos of me walking down the isle, no photos of the flower girl/ring bearer walking down the isle, no photos of the flower girl/ring bearer posed together or with the bride/groom or wedding party, no photos of bride/groom smiling at the camera, and so on. Maybe we’re being too picky, but I suppose we just assumed these to be “givens.” While most of the photos turned out well, they still seemed to be underwhelming.
I haven’t even mentioned how long it took us to actually receive any of our products. We watched many a person on social media (who married after me) rave about their “sneak peaks” of photos and their excitement for having received their photos before us. It took over 8 months and repeated email exchanges to finally receive our wedding video (again, eh). It really wasn’t until my parents got involved that they even began to make an effort. Even that included several weeks of emails going without responses. After being told our video would be at the “top of their list” it took another 2 months to actually receive the video. Our wedding was 1 year and 1 month ago and we STILL have not received our wedding album. We exchanged emails month after month to no avail, again some emails going unanswered. We finally received a link in August 2018 to view and make adjustments to an album (mind you, wedding was December of 2017). My edits were returned the day I received the email and it took another exchange of emails/phone calls and 2 months for any edits to be made. The link even allowed us to see any edits that were made on the album which showed the photo album had not been touched until 2 months had passed and we began to make demands (fancy that, the album was not edited until 2 hours after us making a stink). Another two months has passed since then and we have yet to receive an album. We couldn’t even reminisce with our wedding album on our 1 year anniversary.

e pictures would last the rest of our lives. However, since our first meeting with Zac and Chris over a year before our wedding, they made me feel such a calmness. For the first time during the wedding planning process, I did not feel like I had to worry about what would be produced. I had complete trust in them. In fact, I told them to “wing it” for the engagement session. When we first arrived at the location, we were honestly kind of worried. What were we thinking not giving any input? Boy, were we wrong! The pictures could not have turned out more perfect. They were something we had never seen before. Our friends and family still talk about them. From that point on, I had no problem releasing complete control to them for the rest of the wedding process.
Zac and Chris were so much more than just wedding photographers. I honestly feel as though the entire day would have fallen apart without them. There was not one thing they did not have a hand in. It went far beyond picking yet another perfect location. They fixed my hair and makeup, put my shoes on, and even bustled my wedding dress. When I thought I was going to melt in 85 degree weather, they fanned me and fetched me some water. When I was getting overwhelmed by everyone, they took me into my own room and sat with me, even if it meant kicking other people out. My favorite thing about them was how light hearted they made it. I had been stressing all week about hundreds of people staring at me, and they distracted me from that. They were beyond personable. The best part was having them pose with us to show us how to pose.
All of our bridal party and family continues to talk about how much they loved hanging out with Zac and Chris. They all wish how they wouldn’t have gone with different photographers for their upcoming wedding. At the end of the day, not only did we end up with the most amazing pictures of the greatest day of our lives, but we also gained two friends.

we signed our contract, Zac skyped with us to get to know us and to get an understanding as to what we envisioned for our wedding. We then got to work with Zac for our engagement photos and he returned them to us THE NEXT DAY, which was THANKSGIVING. Not only that, but we had never been to the location where we shot our engagement photos but heard it was a beautiful venue for the fall photos we were looking for. Zac had never been there either, but when we arrived, he had already scoped out the perfect places within the cemetery (that sounds weirder than it was) to take our photos. As far as our wedding day goes, it was really important to my husband and me to choose a photographer that we would want to spend our day with, and Zac and Chris were the perfect selection for that. Our bridal party had a ball with them and they truly made our day seamless AND fun. They accommodated every single shot we wanted, and of course had ideas of their own, which is very much what we wanted, as we know nothing about photography. It rained throughout our wedding day, yet we got the most beautiful photos, OUTDOORS, and in retrospect, I wouldn't have wanted the weather to be any other way. and Chris were so obviously competent that we didn’t want to interfere with them doing their thing, so instead of talking about nitty gritty photo details (which they would have been happy to do, mind you), we instead opted to chat and had fun.
Funnily enough, that was exactly how we spent our wedding day. They arrived at 9am to take our getting-ready pictures, and we had our first look by 9:30. At 10, we were at the venue taking bridal party pictures before our 11 o’clock ceremony. Afterwards, we had 15 minutes of family pictures, and then we were free to enjoy our reception! We never felt as though we were held hostage to the photos. Quite the opposite, in fact: Zac and Chris were flitting around taking pictures, and if something was happening that I wanted photographed, they were usually there before I needed to grab them.
We also booked their Photo Booth, which was a blast. Unfortunately the printer wasn’t working, so guests couldn’t get printouts either to take home or put in the guest book — but Zac was upfront about it, and they offered not only to take our guest book home to put the pictures in themselves, but also to give us a free wedding album.
After the reception was over, we took solo bride and groom shots for about an hour. Even though by this point we were super exhausted, Zac and Chris still made it fun, and it shows in the pictures, which they sent along about 10 days after the wedding. It was such a treat to see how well they captured the fun, happy atmosphere for the day: exactly what we were looking for in wedding photos.
Other than my now-husband, I probably spent the most time on my wedding day with Zac, and it was a blast. He was relaxed but focused, and we probably spent 50% of our time just laughing. Wedding photography is a huge investment, and Green Couch is no different — but with them, you not only get professional service and stunning pictures, but great people who will help you have fun and enjoy your wedding!
