Very professional, absolutely lovely & spacious venue, stunning setting, creative decor, they added numerous unexpected touches, and they even hugged us and our entire entourage after the event. They made our magical event absolutely unforgettable.

We just got married here in July 2023! The venue was absolutely beautiful, so many natural beauties around! Debbie and her staff were fantastic throughout the whole experience, from saying yes to the venue and date to wedding day! I would recommend this venue for anyone who is getting married in the future.

My daughter's wedding at Green Gates was wonderful and the owners/staff were a big part of that. They were very accommodating and supportive. The venue is beautiful with so many picturesque spots within the grounds from the lake views to indoor spaces to green grottos. I can't say enough about the owners and how helpful and thoughtful they are. For instance they asked where the brides grandparents would be sitting so they could position an outdoor heater near them. Visit them and you'll see. I recommend them highly!

This snohomish wedding venue is a beautiful place for a lakeside wedding. The outdoor space is lovingly landscaped and every aspect of this property is well thought out. Great views, and a perfect semi-indoor space for a reception rain or shine! The venue owners were kind, helpful & offered top shelf service! The photo opportunities at this lakeside wedding venue are plentiful! I'm cant wait to come back and photograph another wedding!

This venue is gorgeous! There are at least a dozen amazing spots for photos. The owners are so helpful, responsive, and kind. They made sure our day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone! Our friends and family are still talking about how gorgeous it was!

This venue is a gem among the many barn-chic options in Snohomish. Green Gates is a gorgeous venue with good options to accommodate rain or shine. The owners have poured so much love and time into making the property beautiful. They also responded quickly to all our questions during the planning process and were kind and flexible with us throughout! The addition of water views and the personal touches created by the owners elevates this space above all the rest.

Green Gates is such a hidden gem. This place is clearly a labor of love; every part of the venue is so beautifully and thoughtfully done with care. From the ceremony lawn, the reception barn, to all of the various spaces around the venue, it really is the most beautiful place. Debbie and Kerry are wonderful to work with, are always updating and adding more, and have a lending room with items you can use as decor as well. We had the best experience and highly recommend this venue!

Hidden gem? Definitely. Tons of photo opportunities, a gorgeous venue throughout, and the most amazing owners. Our original venue cancelled two months prior to our wedding. Debbie and Kerry made sure to take care of us and we had a wedding of our dreams. They truly cared about our wants and needs. They worked very well with all of our vendors and truly made the day great. I would definitely recommend booking this venue.

Oh my gosh - what a hidden gem! The stars really aligned when we found this absolutely perfect venue for our wedding day. Green Gates is owned by a wonderful couple who have been hosting weddings for many years and this venue is clearly the product of so much love and care. It sits in a wooded area right on a small lake in Snohomish and every structure and piece of decor on the property has a story. The owners love to repurpose objects and have created a truly special environment. We feel privileged to be part of a long line of couples who have made priceless memories here. Kerry and Debby have great relationships with so many vendors in the area and were so easy to work with. They were also completely flexible when we needed to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. I truly can't think of anywhere else I would have wanted to have my wedding day and our guests were blown away by how beautiful everything was. Green Gates is one of a kind and anyone who is lucky enough to host their wedding here won't be disappointed!

The best day of our lives was at Green Gates at Flowing Lake! We cannot thank Debbie & Kerry enough- our wedding was absolute perfection and I wish we could relive that day over and over. We fell in love with this venue not only because of the gorgeous landscape and uniqueness, but because of the owners. As with most pandemic weddings, we had to postpone our June 2020 wedding to 2021. Debbie and Kerry were in contact and very helpful throughout the process of changing dates and keeping us on track. They preemptively kept us in the know about safety measures leading up to June 2021 and honestly, without their help and support in the months before and the day of, the wedding would not have been a success. The venue itself is beautiful near Flowing Lake. It was the first venue we saw and ended up falling in love with it. Even after looking at other venues, we know it had to be Green Gates. There were many fun little touches that made it stand out.  Wide open grassy areas for lawn games, cute little bar right next to the reception space, comfortable bridal suite and a rustic grooms cabin. Picture opportunities galore, a cool shady spot for large group photos, covered reception space in case of rain, and the constant improvements Debbie and Kerry make. Apart from the venue Debbie had a sheet of other wedding vendor recommendations. We picked three vendors from that list and all were amazing. Our wedding was a blast, every guest told us about how amazing the venue was but really Debbie & Kerry (and team) were even better and no.1 reason any prospective couples should pick this place

Green Gates is an absolutely incredible wedding venue. The venue features a wonderful combination of outdoor ceremony space with covered reception area on a LAKE with a quintessentially PNW vibe. I was nervous getting married in September in the PNW due to possibility of rain, but once I saw this venue I knew that rain or shine we would have a wonderful day, and despite the off and on rain, we did! Our top features also mentioned in other reviews: bridal cottage and groom's cabin offer wonderful places for getting ready, covered reception area with beautiful chandelier hanging from the roof and other rustic design elements, very cool bar/outdoor cocktail hour space with barrels for tables, so many wonderful outdoor features/spaces for taking photos, and tons of decor options available for use (including some beautiful white lanterns we used as table decor).

Our daughter was married at Green Gates and it was superb. The owners are wonderful and catered to our every question, need and desire. The on-site staff the day of the wedding made everything go so smoothly. The closeness and intimacy of this venue made it easy for everyone to get around including the grandparents. They are expanding all the time and adding new decor items. I strongly recommend this venue.

This place is incredible. You should probably get married here. It is such a hidden gem! All of my guests were blown away by the venue and amazed they had never been here before! I think a few of my friends will now be getting married here also. Debbie, the owner is such a gem and so responsive to anything you need! I bothered her with a million emails for 9 months leading up to the wedding and she was so gracious and quick with answering all of my questions. She makes you feel so welcome on the property (at 3 different times she showed my friends and family the grounds leading up to the wedding day) and she makes you feel so special. The staff were ON. IT. all day on the day of the wedding and went above and beyond in helping us set up and clean up. Their storage container of misc. items is INCREDIBLE. They are SO kind to offer anything in there free of charge. We barely brought anything to the venue to decorate because it is already so so beautiful and their container had anything else we could have forgotten. Seriously, you don't need much. Save the money and stress and just go with this naturally beautiful venue. Also our pictures are UNREAL. We didn't leave the venue to take any pictures because there are so many different picturesque locations to choose from. Our photographers were in love! You will be so happy if you choose this place!

Our experience with Green Gates left my husband and I speechless! Debbie and Kerry the owners were so kind and wonderful. You see them as just part of the family. The team worked so seamlessly that it was if the wedding was put together on its own. All but one of our vendors had already worked with Green Gates and had nothing but respect for the team which says a lot. And then the venue!! It rained the whole week up to our wedding so needless to say we were a little worried but the sun decided to shine down on us that day, making the venue look that much more beautiful! Everything was so green and having the lake as a backdrop was the cherry on top.

I cannot say enough great things about Green Gates. It made my wedding dream a reality. Kerry and Debbie were great vendors to work with. The venue and grounds are stunning, at any season. You can see how much work and passion they put into their venue. They were so accommodating, friendly, and flexible when i needed to do another walk through or had a question. They helped make the day go seamless with helping set up and tear down. It poured rain all day but it still was so beautiful with their support. We also lost power for a bit and they were quick to help assist in getting it back on. when we toured the venue it felt cozy and relaxing and romantic. Would absolutely recommend!!

Our experience with Debbie and Kerry at Green Gates was everything we could have hoped and more. The venue itself is gorgeous, and they work so hard to keep it looking it’s best. They were very responsive and friendly even though I emailed them with many questions. They are such kind people and even helped us out with things during the day of - for example, our caterer left the leftover food out (did not put in fridge) and they noticed and made sure it made it into the fridge so it wouldn’t go bad. I can’t say enough good things about the gorgeous venue and Debbie & Kerry. Would recommend without any reservations - if you’re lucky enough to find an open date, snag it! Wow!! I don’t even know where to begin in saying how wonderful this venue is for a wedding. It is naturally gorgeous with the ceremony view for your guests being overlooking a lake with greenery all around. It is peaceful and beautiful. The owners, who are amazing to work with, have done so much to create a unique reception space in the ballroom. It is a renovated barn with exposed beams and chandeliers. They have included lighting that is very romantic and another thing you don’t have to worry about during wedding planning. They have working restrooms so you don’t have to rent additional portable restrooms like you would with a lot of outdoor spaces. The ballroom is indoor/outdoor and they are highly prepared for unexpected weather. The property flows very naturally and makes for a seamless experience for your guests. They recently put in a new bar area which goes perfectly with the other thoughtful landscaping and thematic feel of the venue. The cocktail area is gravel with well thought out wine barrels with marble tops for a chic feel in an outdoor space. The huge trees surrounding that area help beat the heat of a hot day and bring another layer to the feel of the space. Now, the best part are the owners themselves, Debbie and Kerry. They are clearly passionate and so caring about the venue and making sure their customers have a successful and fantastic wedding day. They are very easy to communicate with and get back to you quickly to any questions and requests to tour the venue again, if necessary, during your wedding planning journey. Their day of staff is also friendly and very helpful. I can’t say enough about both of them and their fantastic wedding venue. TEN STARS. This place is amazing! Kerry and Debbie did such an great job renovating this old horse barn into a stunning wedding venue. From the second we stepped foot on the gorgeous green grass overlooking flowing lake, we knew that this was the place we wanted to tie the knot! Everything from the bridal room and bar area to the huge barn and even the bathrooms were rich in character and style. Additionally, Kerry and Debbie were so accommodating, allowing us to come and revisit the venue a few times prior to our big day. We would absolutely recommend Green Gates at flowing lake for anyone looking for a truly unforgettable venue!

Green Gates at Flowing Lake is truly a hidden gem! My husband and I had been touring the Snohomish venues, and the moment we stepped onto this venue, we both knew it was something special.  Both Kerry and Debbie take great pride in the overall venue, and Kerry is constantly working to improve the grounds/space. For example: we booked in 2015, and by the time our wedding took place in 2017, Kerry had added the following: new pavers all around the venue, the entire back hallway + extra space (perfect photo-booth space!), new bathrooms, and more. The best part is that they are an all-inclusive venue, and allow you to use all their amazing, beautiful décor that they have (includes rustic chic items: wine barrels, ladders, in-house farm tables, signage, etc.), which is SO neat. We didn't stop hearing from all the guests: "wow, this place is absolutely beautiful.." Another wonderful thing? They are INCREDIBLY accommodating - they never said no when we asked if we could come visit the venue for planning for our special day, always meeting us with hellos and hugs, and making sure to catch up on our personal lives - on the day-of, they were SO helpful, actually helping our staff-team with pulling out tables, chairs, setting up, and making sure that the venue looked its absolute best. This venue is NOT one to miss. Kerry and Debbie, thank you for being the best hosts, the best venue, and making our special day truly one to remember. My husband and I picked Green Gates at Flowing Lake because we loved the look of the venue . It is absolutely stunning. The venue is a rustic open barn that has so many places for photo's. We had 200 guests attend our wedding and this venue made it very comfortable to have that many guests.. Our wedding day was considered the worst storm since 1995, it was pouring rain but we worked with the owners Kerry and Debbie, they helped move the ceremony to inside the barn and the wedding went beautifully. The rain gave the photo's that added effect and they looked great! This venue has TONS of rustic items to use with no extra charge. The indoor bathrooms are just remodeled and look great! We loved this venue and the owners. Debbie and Kerry are the BEST to work with! They were helpful, very quick with communication and honest people. We couldn't have asked for a before venue!

Green gates at Flowing Lake is the most amazing venue! We just had our wedding there last weekend and can not say enough about how perfect it was. Especially the owners, they are the most wonderful people who do everything they can to help you. They just finished renovating the barn and added on new bathrooms which was a huge bonus for us. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful location with a vineyard rustic type feel. You will not be disappointed!

I Got married here late August and had an amazing experience! The owners were great with communication and answering questions/offering solutions up until the wedding day. They day of they worked hand in hand with my coordinator to make sure everything we needed and envisioned happened. The weather wasn't the best & we had to get a tent for the ceremony last minute, they reached out to other brides and grooms to see if they'd be interested in splitting costs, which was so appreciated. They also worked well with all vendors in organization and helping get everything set up when it did start raining. Such a great experience and not an expensive venue. I appreciated that they provide tables and chairs and were so helpful in planning our big day. The venue is absolutely beautiful with so many unique rustic touches to it and I loved the spacious bridal cottage. Parking attendants were on site and able to help accommodate all 200 of our guests

We are so happy to have found Green Gates at Flowing Lake. The owners, Debbie and Kerry, go out of their way to make their couples happy. They were so willing to accommodate us from our first meeting to the big day. We were able to look at the property multiple times throughout the planning process. They have a ton of props, tables and décor that you're able to use as well. They helped with the setup and tear down too, which was helpful to all involved. Debbie and Kerry are the nicest people and we are so happy to have had our wedding here.

Amazing venue all around!! Kerry and Debbie are wonderful to work with and make you feel like family. They helped to make my wedding day a dream come true. Very reasonable pricing with a lot to come with it! They have tables, chairs, tons of décor to choose from, beautiful scenery, bridal suite to get ready in, groomsman cottage etc. Overall we LOVED it and would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect venue!

Green Gates was the perfect venue for me and my husband! it was casual but romantic at the same time. the owners were very helpful and very nice and easy to work with!

I was at the venue for about 30 seconds before I knew I HAD to have my wedding there. The ceremony lawn and reception barn were perfect. Kerry and Debbie are easy to work with. Our wedding was beautiful.

Green Gates offered the perfect combination of everything we wanted for our wedding day - a covered reception space (and alternative for the ceremony in case of rain) and a beautiful ceremony space overlooking the lake. The owners, Kerry and Debbie, are constantly putting work into the venue and it looks amazing! It's a combination of rustic elegance with many unique touches that make it feel very personalized. They are also great people to work with and are truly an advocate during the planning process. Our guests were all raving about the venue throughout our ceremony and reception. The space is large, flexible and fairly open, so the event flow was perfect and everything was absolutely beautiful. The venue also provided many interesting spaces for photographs, and ours turned out stunning!
