Green Lake Jewelry Works have a beautiful show room and lovely pieces. We had a very enjoyable appointment trying on rings, and Vinh was very responsive to our preferences and made great suggestions. I ended up designing my own piece that turned out beautifully, but felt like I could have happily purchased something in the store on the day of. The design process was easy and fun, and we’re so happy with how it turned out. They even checked the setting on my heirloom ring.

I absolutely loved everything about getting my ring at Green Lake Jewelers. We worked with Pia to design the perfect engagement ring… and it sure is perfect. The experience was delightful at every step. Pia made us feel so special and cared for. She got to know us and understand my preferences, listened, and communicated frequently. Not a thing I would do differently!

Would recommend this place to anyone I know. Brant was extremely helpful in gemstone education, answering all of my questions and helping us find the perfect one for our engagement ring. Erich was so detailed and attentive to our thoughts on the ring design, while also making sure the diamond would be secure within the setting. Everyone was extremely nice and wonderful to work with throughout the whole process.

We had a phenomenal experience at Green Lake Jewelry Works, and it was largely due to Christine, the designer we worked with. If you want an engagement ring and the best customer service imaginable, find Christine IMMEDIATELY! We stopped by on a whim after having mediocre experiences at other jewelers. Christine greeted us cheerfully and spent the next hour and a half enthusiastically showing us design ideas and stones. We never felt pressured at all, and instead felt like we were in the company of someone who was just so excited to share. Christine made the whole experience so incredibly fun, and the ring is more perfect than we could have imagined. The ring design process takes about 6-8 weeks from start to finish, and you get to be part of the whole journey - from the initial sketches to a wax model to the finished product, you get to see your dream ring come to life. Oh, and did I mention that they can make literally any ring you want? From a simple solitaire to a much more complex design, the sky is the limit here. Green Lake Jewelry Works (but especially Christine) gets 10 stars from us!

My husband and I had the greatest experience creating an engagement ring and wedding bands at Green Lake Jewelry Works. Our designer, Ellen, was so friendly and we enjoyed designing the rings with her. Even during COVID-19, she was great at communicating with us and helping us get the most amazing rings.

I loved my experience with Green Lake Jewelry. My designer was Rebecca, and she was personable and responsive all the way through. I went in with a good idea of what I wanted, and she was patient and helpful in guiding me the rest of the way. They have a great selection of sapphires, and I found my dream stone pretty quickly. I loved working with Green Lake to design my wedding band. After my now-husband purchased my beautiful engagement ring with the help of Ben, I went to Green Lake in search of the perfect band to go with my low-profile engagement ring. My pendant was very special - It involved using two stones I already owned and an antique coin. Pia from Green Lake jewelry was very patient, collaborative and creative - every step of the way. She explained how the pendant could look like; I wanted to be able to use both sides - Pia worked her magic & ensured this was indeed possible. She delivered it much before our agreed timeline! When I starting looking for an engagement ring I was overwhelmed. There are so many styles, settings, and terms that can be daunting if you’re not familiar with them. Chelsea at Green Lake Jewelry Works walked me through all the parts that make up a ring and helped me design a gorgeous engagement ring for my girlfriend. I could not have imaged a better experience. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. Green Lake Jewelry Works is great whether you want a custom piece, something from their showroom, or just some information. They don’t pressure you into decisions or make you feel like you need to spend more than you’re comfortable with. Any time I need jewelry I will certainly come back to them!

We worked with Pia to design custom wedding bands for both the bride and the groom. I wanted my wedding band to mimic my engagement ring and the groom wanted his band to have small diamonds on the inside of the band. My ring turned out perfectly. They work with you every step of the way showing drawing designs through email, creating mock-ups of the rings to determine size and general design, and final castings. The rings turned out beautifully and exactly how we wanted. They were up front about any pricing changes throughout the process and honest about what could and couldn't be done. Fantastic experience.

There have only been a few times in my life I've been completely speechless, and one of them was when my fiance proposed with a ring custom-made from Green Lake. It was absolutely perfect; he knew my taste so well, and working with Krista had created a ring that I still stop to look at, even now that we're finally married! After he had such a great experience with Green Lake with my engagement ring, we knew we would be designing our wedding rings with them as well! This time I got to be a part of the designing process, which was really fantastic. Krista was amazing to work with, and incorporated all of our ideas and feedback into two perfect wedding rings. I used Green Lake Jewelry Works for my wedding band. My engagement ring didn't come with a matching band and had a tricky shape that wouldn't allow a normal band to fit perfectly. I worked with Chelsea to custom create a band that fits beautifully with the ring! The price for custom had me a pondering the decision for a bit, but I am glad I went down this route as the quality is great and they were fantastic to work with.

I bought both my engagement and wedding rings from this store. I honestly went sight unseen and did everything online. It was a lot to risk, but the reviews were undeniably positive. That being said I loved everything about the experience. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and amazing from start to finish. They take you every step of the way and stay in contact. Sophia was my designer and I cannot recommend her enough. The jewelry upon arrival was amazing and the diamond she recommended was gorgeous for the engagement ring. Do yourself a favor stop looking and go to them and if you can, Sophia.

We worked with Pia and were able to create exactly the ring I wanted. She was so accommodating and was very adept at turning my thoughts into design. I am so very happy with my ring and would recommend Green Lake to anyone who wants to make their rings unique.

We custom designed my engagement ring and wedding band fitted to it at Green Lake jewelers via their online component. It was so easy and the designers were fantastic to deal with and very helpful. We got the rings way quicker than expected as well!! Will definitely be back to make more pieces in the future.

I have a very unique engagement ring, so we knew the band would be tricky. My husband is also a very meticulous person, and had tried on dozens of rings without finding anything perfect. We ended up going to Greenlake Jewelry Works and getting 2 custom bands before our wedding. We worked with Amber, who was great. Our first session we sat down and explained what we wanted, and what was closest to what we wanted that we could see in-store. We had a first fitting of wax molds. My husband's ring was perfect, but mine wasn't quite right to fit with the engagement ring. So she took measurements again, and about a week later we were back in there trying on my second mold. That one was perfect! We truly got perfect rings. The customer service was beyond top-notch, and we really felt like they were invested in making us happy. (The complimentary lattes don't hurt!) Even the day before the wedding, I took my engagement ring (not purchased through them), and they cleaned it for me for free. Before I had even purchased my wedding band there, I bent a prong on my engagement ring and they fixed it for free. They are such nice people, and so focused on their customer service. I can't recommend anything better.

My wedding ring was made by these lovely people and they did an amazing job on it. They emailed with me back and forth to make sure my ring came out just the way I wanted it and when it arrived I was not disappointed. They have a wide selection of premade designs for someone to pick or you can have yours designed just for you. They are the perfect jeweler for anyone with a unique or particular taste in jewelry.

My fiancé and I visited Green Lake Jewelry this past weekend and spent about 2 hours there. We were looking at bands for both of us. They have a variety of "priced to sell" pieces in the cases and then you work with a designer to pick out what you want specifically. If it's not the model in the case, it's considered a custom design. Our designer was not very knowledgeable when we asked basic questions about jewelry. She was very nice even though we were not offered espresso or anything (we came for the jewelry, no worries!). She cleaned my engagement ring very poorly, it actually was not clean at all. And the worst part is that after spending all that time picking something out she went in back for about 30 minutes to estimate the prices for the two bands plus one option to reset my diamond. Then the pricing was all wrong, as in did not make any sense (and she tried to explain it saying that the larger band with more diamonds was cheaper because of less labor to set the diamonds), and finally we figured out she had swapped the two estimates. I'd never go back there myself based on this experience but I could see other customers got much smarter and faster service from the other designers. Finally there was a lot of pressure for us to create an account on their website, the designer must have asked us to do this four times before we finally just said no. I realize it makes it easier for them to track you but the last thing I wanted was a follow-up phone call.

My husband and I are very happy with our wedding bands. For my ring, we used diamonds from my husband's grandmother's rings. They were very helpful in finding the perfect setting to compliment my engagement ring. They have a great selection which made it easy to find exactly the ring my husband was looking for.

At first when I thought about getting engaged, I was nervous - I am not a fan of diamonds and wanted something different. Every setting I see in traditional jewelry stores are nothing like what I would want. One day, while doing research on stones, I came across Green Lake Jewelry Works and fell in love! I was so impressed by the work, and when I contacted them they were so quick to respond back with helpful suggestions. They said that I would be able to send them a loose stone and they could set it in a band that we could design. We went through several stages, and the person we were set up with (Shelly) was fantastic and so responsive throughout the entire process! We gave Shelly sketches of what we wanted, and she was able to come up with the most beautiful CAD drawing/rendering of what my ring would look like. She helped us through the process of picking out the perfect gemstone and then we went to wax modeling. She sent it to us and we loved it! Next thing we knew, we were getting engaged and when I saw the real thing for the first time - I was so shocked (after crying for a long time and hugging my fiance). It is the most beautiful, unique ring I have ever seen! I can't wait to see the wedding bands that my fiance is designing as well (best thing is that they will all have similar elements - something that you can't always do unless you design your own). The other great part is that the prices are SO reasonable! It only cost a little more than we were originally going to spend - and having a ring that we designed is totally worth it! Thank you Shelly and Green Lake Jewelry Works for all that you have done! The rings are phenomenal. I couldn't imagine anything better and I look forward to wearing it for the rest of my life.. because let's me real. When you get something this perfect you don't ever need to change it =)

We have friends who recommended Green Lake to us, and we're so glad they did! There's absolutely no pressure: the first time we visited to look at engagement rings, my fiance had his credit card out in his hand to buy a ring when we decided to look into something we'd seen somewhere else. The designer, Daniel, didn't try to talk us into buying the ring or convince us to stay. We ended up working with him when the other thing was a huge flop, and he was great! My husband doesn't like diamonds, and I wanted something unique, and Daniel didn't bat an eye when we said we didn't want a diamond solitaire engagement ring, or that we wanted it to be yellow gold. He recommended green sapphire--and then got in three separate shipments for us so that we had our choice of sizes, prices, and colors. He helped us design filigree for the ring that's unlike anything else (based off a Medieval tapestry), and helped us understand the whole process. The only snafu was that he accidentally called me when the ring was done, rather than calling my husband so he could surprise me. We went back about 6 months later to get our wedding bands. I wanted a shadow band to go with my wrap engagement ring, and my husband and I wanted something that would tie our rings together, so we decided to each do hammered yellow gold. Mitchell spent a lot of time with us, showing my husband different types and sizes of bands, and then making sure that the custom specs were right for my band. When we picked up the wedding rings, we were a little disappointed at the texture, which was barely hammered. They took the rings to the back, and it took the jewelers about 5 minutes to create the exact texture that we were looking for! Not only is the in-store experience really great and laid back (including coffee service and fresh cookies), but they have a really, really good online tool, which lets you manage your custom order, approve waxes, designs, and photos, and gives you a gallery of the project once it's done. And they'll never make an exact replica of a custom design, so you'll always be the only one with your ring!

This place has excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

My whole life I have always said that I wanted to pick out my wedding ring one day. My, now, husband was very sweet to let me into this process when the time came. We started out looking at all the major ring stores in town. We checked out the chains, the family operated ones, and the antique specialty jewelry stores. As crazy as it may seem, I couldn't find a ring that I liked. Money had nothing to do with it either. I couldn't find a ring in any budget that fit me. I love antiques and anything unique. I am just not the solitaire kind of girl. I could find pictures online of ornate Edwardian and Art Deco rings, but my fiance was not into the whole online ring shopping thing (I can't blame him either). The few antique rings we did find that may have been a possibility in truth had lousy grade diamonds. They either had visible cracks in the stone or low clarity and color. We finally headed into Green Lake and were pleasantly surprised with what they could do. I pulled up a picture of a ring I had found online and asked if a ring like that was possible to replicate within our budget. To our amazement they said yes! The process took about a month or two, however, my husband is in the military and was off in training for a few weeks. We also live down south so we could only make the trip into town on weekends. The price of the ring is based off the weight of the gold and the price of the stones. Its that simple. No extra design fees or extra labor costs for more elaborate designs. You get to be as involved as you want in the design process. You also get to hand pick your diamond. Our designer, Emily, listened to us very well and created truly the most beautiful ring I have ever seen, and I am a pretty tough critic!

The staff at Green lake jewelery works are very pleasant and professional. Every time I walk in I feel like I am in a relaxed environment where the staff are enthusiastic about helping you create your dream pieces and have great input. I was one of those picky brides that kept on having to redo the design of my wedding band because I wanted it to be absolutely perfect. Matt worked with my fiance and I to make sure I absolutely loved my ring and was prompt with replying back to any emails I sent him.

My (now) husband surprised me with a custom engagement ring from Green Lake that I love. We had our wedding rings made there, too. The artistry and customer service are wonderful!

Both my husband and I had our wedding bands custom made through Green Lake. The entire process was wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly and really does want to create exactly what you want. The quality of the craftsmanship is excellent and our rings turned out beautifully. Start to finish your designer is there to make it perfect!

The shop is really cool and layed back, so there's no sales pressure at all, which I love. Almost everything Green Lake does is custom and they have some great online tools for designing the ring of your dreams with a professional designer. Both of our rings turned out exactly how we wanted and we love them! We would absolutely work with Green Lake again on other pieces.

My partner had a custom ring done by Green Lake Jewelry. It is absolutely perfect! I really like Tim Burton and the ring is a reflection of that. The ring has two trees one on either side of an emerald cut diamond. The trees grow together on the top and bottom of the stone. This ring is significant to the commitment of our love and how our lives have intertwined and how we are growing together as individuals as well as a couple. My advice- ask for Susan. She is the best. She helped my then fianance design a vintage inspired ring for me. It is absolutely gorgeous! A classic ring that will never go out of style. We also got our wedding bands here. I can't comment on the price bc i wasn't the one that did the comparison shopping. However, when we got the rings insured, we were complimented on the craftsmanship. When we told the insurance agent where we purchased the ring- she said she "should have known."

My husband wanted to create my ring and found Green Lake online. The customer service was unparalleled. He had a customer service rep that stayed with him updating him regularly about the progress. She was straight forward and honest the entire time. She had great ideas to enhance his vision, too. A note: they said it takes 3-4 months to complete, That was half true. It takes 3-4 months to complete the design THEN another 2-3 months for the ring to be made. You have to plan to be patient, but the end product is amazing! I get compliments ALL the time about it. I would recommend Green Lake if you have a one of a kind design for your one of a kind woman! I LOVE my ring!

Lots of unique ring choices!

I had a picture of the perfect ring in my head and Green Lake Jewelry actually made it happen. Kristen walked us through both choosing the diamond and designing the setting and bands. It was a lot of fun looking at different rings, picking and choosing what I liked about each one to get to what I had imagined. And if I had something in mind that I wasn't seeing, they would come up with a few designs for me to look at. Plus Kristen brought up a lot of details that I hadn't thought of - like how the engagement ring and wedding band fit together. At the end the cost was right there with other jewelry stores, except mine is a one of a kind custom ring.

Greenlake Jewelry Works is just a wonderful jewelry store. The staff is always helpful and is very knowledgable. We designed my engagement ring here and then came back and got both bands.

I had my grandmother's wedding ring resized for me and her engagement ring made into a necklace and earrings for my mom. And we also bought my husband's ring here. I'm sure we could've found a cheaper place but I didn't want to take chances with something so important and I had a personal recommendation for Greenlake Jewelery. They were very professional and highly skilled. A+
