We had our wedding here on Father’s Day. It is a beautiful venue, from the inside to the outside. Even the bathrooms were pretty. The bridal suite was very handy and nicely set up. We were originally going to do an outdoor wedding at the beautiful garden gazebo they have outside, but there was a chance of rain so we change it to an indoor wedding. Shawna is the absolute best. She’s very friendly, sweet, attentive, and accommodating. She made the experience as easy as could be. She didn’t make a big deal about us changing the setting of our ceremony, nor the amount of guests that was ever changing up until the day prior to the wedding. The food tasting was not the greatest the first go around, but they improved a lot at our second tasting. The food at the wedding was not like either though, it was much better. All of the hors d’oeuvres were amazing!! The food was really good as well. Much improved from the first tasting. It was a wonderful surprise. The chef also did the absolute best he could to repair the damage of our destroyed cake & we appreciate it so much! It was the bakery’s error and the cake was not stabilized. The entire second layer slid off and they repaired it to the best of their ability. They did a champagne toast for us and take home trays of food, which was great because we were so busy with pictures that we barely had time to eat. They did the decorations exactly as we planned and everything was beautiful! I would definitely host another event here again.

Brian was also wonderful with the food and everyone said all of the entrees were delicious. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and reception it was everything I had dreamed of! Shawna is a lifesaver and I will definitely use Green Pond again. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Brian was also wonderful with the food and everyone said all of the entrees were delicious. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and reception it was everything I had dreamed of! Shawna is a lifesaver and I will definitely use Green Pond again. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Shawna and her team worked so hard to keep everything running smoothly for both the rehearsal dinner and day of, and provided SO much help with with set-up/clean-up and helping us figuring where we needed to be and when. Shawna was such a pleasure to work with, always available for all our random questions and took care of all the stressful stuff like coordinating last minute things with other vendors, again all the decor assistance, and overall just making our day as magical as possible. The venue (ceremony space especially) was absolutely gorgeous, and the food was incredible - all of our guests said the portions were so generous and everything tasted great. I really can't rave enough about this venue, especially for the price point - you will not find a better deal around. My husband and I both used to work at a different wedding venue, and toured over 30 different places when trying to pick one for our own day, so we are both confident we have seen all kinds of packages in the general area. This was by far the most affordable, easy-going, accommodating, and genuinely pleasant team we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with, and plan on coming back whenever we can in the future for other celebrations.

customizing the menu options to filling the cannolis for our favors (which came from an outside bakery) for free! We live out of state and could only do our tasting on the day after Christmas. Brian was able to organize this without a problem. The grounds were beautiful, the food was delicious and everything went really smoothly. y ceremony outside at the gazebo and I cannot wait to see the pictures from my photographer. The food was delicious! Brian, the head chef, catered to all of our requests the day of the wedding, from making sure my husband had french dressing for his salad and for changing up his normal hors d'oeuvre's and making scallops wrapped in bacon for me as they are my favorite. All of the food came out promptly and beautifully plated. The staff at GP is so professional, friendly and happy. The waiters/waitressers, bartenders and others were top notch. Our 'day of' wedding coordinator Tammy was a god send. She took all of my homemade centerpieces and table numbers and made them look amazing on the tables. As I was getting ready and throughout the wedding she was always around if I needed anything and checked up on me to make sure everything was okay. Now, I can see why because, I too, have nothing but great things to say! Brian was so accommodating, anything I requested he was more than happy to oblige. I really wanted to do a Chinese Lantern Release at our wedding and Brian allowed us to do it, no questions asked! The cost of a wedding reception is crazy expensive, but Green Pond offers great packages, they do not nickel and dime you for every little thing. On the day of the wedding, Brian and Tammy (our coordinator) made everything run smoothly. The ambience was great, the food was amazing, and the drinks were flowing! From start to finish, the day was perfect and Brian and Tammy were a big part of that. Our wedding guest are still telling us how much fun they had and how great Green Pond was. Do yourself a favor and contact Brian to schedule a meeting, you will not regret it!

Brian made that very easy for us and we knew everything was going to turn out wonderfully. Brian and his team were able to accommodate the times we were in town to go over ideas and food for our day. When the wedding day came we were so thankful for Brian and his team. They went above and beyond in making sure everything was how we envisioned. Tammy, our coordinator, was amazing that day. She made sure that everything was perfect, that we ate our dinners, and if we had any questions or ideas throughout the night. s and the grounds are great for taking formal shots. Overall, our guests enjoyed it there and we had a great wedding. Brian, the food and beverage manager, did a great job! They were very accommodating with my signature drink, and had it butlered during cocktail hour. It was a hit and tasted great! They even went through the trouble of getting all of the pink lemonade needed for the drink! Cons: 1. Some of the wait staff were rude to my mother and sister during dinner. My mother was served the wrong dish. She was told by the waitress that someone at her own table was eating her salmon. Later, my mother found out that her dinner was actually given to my aunt at the next table. (Don't they make a few extras for this type of problem?) My sister asked one of the servers for a piece of cake and she told her to go to her seat and get it. (Would it have really been that hard to just give her a slice from the tray?) 2. Dinner service was very slow. It took 2 hours to serve dinner to 160 people. Which leads into why we had the next problem.... 3. Since we only had about 2 hours of dancing, we wanted to pay for the optional extra hour. The bartender told us that she would not do it. (I didn't know that the bartender had the right to deny us the extra hour in the first place! A heads-up would have been appreciated there!) She said some of our guests were too drunk, when actually I think she was pissed because a few of the guests were ordering massive amounts of mixed drinks (and drinking them quickly). I didn't understand why she felt she had to close the entire reception because our guests were fine and the wedding was actually pretty tame. We also had a shuttle to take everyone to the hotel, so there was no need to worry about DUIs. Basically, I lost 20 minutes of my reception while my husband talked on the phone to Brian and got nowhere. I finally convinced her by appealing to her emotions. I told her that I get to do this ONCE and I want the extra hour. So in the end... we got the extra hour. She admitted to overreacting. We had a great time, but I still get mad when I think about this one blemish in an otherwise perfect day.
